1 Ын зилеле ачеля, фииндкэ се стрынсесе дин ноу мулт нород ши н-авя че мынка, Исус а кемат пе ученичий Сэй ши ле-а зис:
About that time, when there was again a great crowd of people who had nothing to eat, Jesus called his disciples to him, and said,
2 „Мь-е милэ де нородул ачеста, кэч ятэ кэ де трей зиле стау лынгэ Мине ши н-ау че мынка.
“My heart is moved at the sight of all these people, for they have already been with me three days and they have nothing to eat;
3 Дакэ ле вой да друмул акасэ флэмынзь, ау сэ лешине де фоаме пе друм, фииндкэ уний дин ей ау венит де департе.”
and if I send them away to their homes hungry, they will break down on the way; and some of them have come a long distance.”
4 Ученичий Й-ау рэспунс: „Кум ар путя чинева сэ сатуре ку пыне пе оамений ачештя аич, ынтр-ун лок пустиу?”
“Where will it be possible,” his disciples answered, “to get sufficient bread for these people in this lonely place?”
5 „Кыте пынь авець?”, й-а ынтребат Исус. „Шапте”, Й-ау рэспунс ей.
“How many loaves have you?” he asked. “Seven,” they answered.
6 Атунч а порунчит нородулуй сэ шадэ пе пэмынт, а луат челе шапте пынь ши, дупэ че а мулцумит луй Думнезеу, ле-а фрынт ши ле-а дат ученичилор Сэй ка сэ ле ымпартэ, ши ей ле-ау ымпэрцит нородулуй.
Jesus told the crowd to sit down on the ground. Then he took the seven loaves, and, after saying the thanksgiving, broke them, and gave them to his disciples to serve out; and they served them out to the crowd.
7 Май авяу ши кыцьва пештишорь, ши Исус, дупэ че й-а бинекувынтат, а порунчит сэ-й ымпартэ ши пе ачея.
They had also a few small fish; and, after he had said the blessing, he told the disciples to serve out these as well.
8 Ау мынкат ши с-ау сэтурат; ши ау ридикат шапте кошнице плине ку рэмэшицеле де фиримитурь.
The people had sufficient to eat, and they picked up seven baskets full of the broken pieces that were left.
9 Ерау апроапе патру мий де иншь. Ын урмэ, Исус ле-а дат друмул.
There were about four thousand people. Then Jesus dismissed them.
10 Исус а интрат ындатэ ын корабие ку ученичий Сэй ши а венит ын пэрциле Далманутей.
Immediately afterward, getting into the boat with his disciples, Jesus went to the district of Dalmanutha.
11 Фарисеий ау венит деодатэ ши ау ынчепут о чартэ де ворбе ку Исус. Ши, ка сэ-Л пунэ ла ынчеркаре, Й-ау черут ун семн дин чер.
Here the Pharisees came out, and began to argue with Jesus, asking him for some sign from the heavens, to test him.
12 Исус а суспинат адынк ын духул Сэу ши а зис: „Пентру че чере нямул ачеста ун семн? Адевэрат вэ спун кэ нямулуй ачестуя ну и се ва да делок ун семн.”
Sighing deeply, Jesus said, “Why does this generation ask for a sign? I tell you, no sign will be given it.”
13 Апой й-а лэсат ши а интрат ярэшь ын корабие, ка сэ трякэ де чялалтэ парте.
So he left them to themselves, and, getting into the boat again, went away to the opposite shore.
14 Ученичий уйтасерэ сэ я пынь; ку ей, ын корабие, н-авяу декыт о пыне.
Now the disciples had forgotten to take any bread with them, one loaf being all that they had in the boat.
15 Исус ле дэдя ын грижэ ши ле зичя: „Луаць сяма, сэ вэ пэзиць бине де алуатул фарисеилор ши де алуатул луй Ирод!”
So Jesus gave them this warning. “Take care,” he said, “beware of the leaven of the Pharisees and the leaven of Herod.”
16 Ученичий се гындяу ши зичяу ынтре ей: „Фииндкэ н-авем пынь.”
They began talking to one another about their being short of bread;
17 Исус а ынцелес лукрул ачеста ши ле-а зис: „Пентру че вэ гындиць кэ н-авець пынь? Тотну причепець ши тот ну ынцелеӂець? Авець инима ымпетритэ?
and, noticing this, Jesus said to them, “Why are you talking about your being short of bread? Don’t you yet see or understand? Are your minds still so slow or comprehension?
18 Авець окь ши ну ведець? Авець урекь ши ну аузиць? Ши ну вэ адучець аминте делок?
Though you have eyes, do you not see? And though you have ears, do you not hear? Don’t you remember,
19 Кындам фрынт челе чинч пынь ла чей чинч мий де бэрбаць, кыте кошурь плине ку фиримитурь аць ридикат?” „Доуэспрезече”, Й-ау рэспунс ей.
when I broke up the five loaves for the five thousand, how many baskets of broken pieces you picked up?” “Twelve,” they said.
20 „Ши кындам фрынт челе шапте пынь ла чей патру мий де бэрбаць, кыте кошнице плине ку фиримитурь аць ридикат?” „Шапте”, Й-ау рэспунс ей.
“And when the seven for the four thousand, how many basketfuls of broken pieces did you pick up?” “Seven,” they said.
21 Ши Ел ле-а зис: „Тот нуынцелеӂець?”
“Don’t you understand now?” he repeated.
22 Ау венит ла Бетсаида; ау адус ла Исус ун орб ши Л-ау ругат сэ Се атингэ де ел.
They came to Bethsaida. There some people brought a blind man to Jesus, and begged him to touch him.
23 Исус а луат пе орб де мынэ ши л-а скос дин сат, апой й-а пус скуйпат пе окь, Шь-а пус мыниле песте ел ши л-а ынтребат: „Везь чева?”
Taking the blind man’s hand, Jesus led him to the outskirts of the village, and, when he had put saliva on the man’s eyes, he placed his hands on him, and asked him, “Do you see anything?”
24 Ел с-а уйтат ши а зис: „Вэд ниште оамень умблынд, дар ми се пар ка ниште копачь.”
The man looked up, and said, “I see the people, for, as they walk about, they look to me like trees.”
25 Исус й-а пус дин ноу мыниле пе окь; й-а спус сэ се уйте цинтэ ши, кынд с-а уйтат, а фост тэмэдуит ши а вэзут тоате лукруриле деслушит.
Then Jesus again placed his hands on the man’s eyes; and the man saw clearly, his sight was restored, and he saw everything with perfect distinctness.
26 Атунч, Исус л-а тримис акасэ ши й-а зис: „Сэ ну интри ын сат ши ничсэ ну спуй куйва ын сат.”
Jesus sent him to his home, and said, “Do not go even into the village.”
27 Исус а плекат ку ученичий Сэй ын сателе Чезареий луй Филип. Пе друм ле-а пус урмэтоаря ынтребаре: „Чине зик оамений кэ сунт Еу?”
Afterward Jesus and his disciples went into the villages around Caesarea Philippi; and on the way he asked his disciples this question – “Who do people say that I am?”
28 Ей Й-ау рэспунс: „Иоан Ботезэторул; алций: Илие; алций: Унул дин пророчь.”
“John the Baptist,” they answered, “but others say Elijah, while others say one of the prophets.”
29 „Дар вой”, й-а ынтребат Ел, „чине зичець кэ сунт Еу?” „Ту ешть Христосул!” Й-а рэспунс Петру.
“But you,” he asked, “who do you say that I am?” To this Peter replied, “You are the Christ.”
30 Исус ле-а порунчит ку тэрие сэ ну спунэ нимэнуй лукрул ачеста деспре Ел.
At which Jesus charged them not to say this about him to anyone.
31 Атунч а ынчепут сэ-й ынвеце кэ Фиул омулуй требуе сэ пэтимяскэ мулт, сэ фие тэгэдуит де бэтрынь, де преоций чей май де сямэ ши де кэртурарь, сэ фие оморыт ши дупэ трей зиле сэ ынвие.
Then he began to teach them that the Son of Man must undergo much suffering, and that he must be rejected by the elders, and the chief priests, and the teachers of the Law, and be put to death, and rise again after three days.
32 Ле спуня лукруриле ачестя пе фацэ. Петру ынсэ Л-а луат деопарте ши а ынчепут сэ-Л мустре.
He said all this quite openly. But Peter took Jesus aside, and began to rebuke him.
33 Дар Исус С-а ынторс ши С-а уйтат ла ученичий Сэй, а мустрат пе Петру ши й-а зис: „Ынапоя Мя, Сатано! Фииндкэ ту ну те гындешть ла лукруриле луй Думнезеу, чи ла лукруриле оаменилор.”
Jesus, however, turning around and seeing his disciples, rebuked Peter. “Out of my sight, Satan!” he exclaimed. “For you look at things, not as God does, but as people do.”
34 Апой а кемат ла Ел нородул ымпреунэ ку ученичий Сэй ши ле-а зис: „Дакэ воеште чиневасэ винэ дупэ Мине, сэ се лепеде де сине ынсушь, сэ-шь я кручя ши сэ Мэ урмезе.
Calling the people and his disciples to him, Jesus said, “If anyone wishes to walk in my steps, they must renounce self, take up their cross, and follow me.
35 Кэч орьчинева вря сэ-шь скапе вяца, о ва перде, дар орьчине ышь ва перде вяца дин причина Мя ши дин причина Евангелией, о ва мынтуи.
For whoever wishes to save their life will lose it, and whoever, for my sake and for the sake of the good news, will lose their life will save it.
36 Ши че фолосеште унуй ом сэ кыштиӂе тоатэ лумя, дакэ ышь перде суфлетул?
What good is it to a person to gain the whole world and forfeit their life?
37 Сау че ва да ун ом ын скимб пентру суфлетул сэу?
For what could a person give that is of equal value with their life?
38 Пентру кэде орьчине сева рушина де Мине ши де кувинтеле Меле, ын ачест ням прякурвар ши пэкэтос, Се ва рушина ши Фиул омулуй, кынд ва вени ын слава Татэлуй Сэу ымпреунэ ку сфинций ынӂерь.”
Whoever is ashamed of me and of my teaching, in this unfaithful and wicked generation, of them will the Son of Man be ashamed, when he comes in his Father’s glory with the holy angels.”
