1 Кынд с-ау апропият де Иерусалим ши ау фост лынгэ Бетфаге ши Бетания, ынспре Мунтеле Мэслинилор, Исус а тримис пе дой дин ученичий Сэй
When they had almost reached Jerusalem, as far as Bethphage and Bethany, near the Mount of Olives, Jesus sent on two of his disciples.
2 ши ле-а зис: „Дучеци-вэ ын сатул динаинтя воастрэ. Ындатэ че вець интра ын ел, вець гэси ун мэгэруш легат, пе каре н-а ынкэлекат ынкэ ничун ом; дезлегаци-л ши адучеци-Ми-л.
“Go to the village facing you,” he said, “and, as soon as you get there, you will find a foal tethered, which no one has ever ridden; untie it, and bring it.
3 Дакэ вэ ва ынтреба чинева: ‘Пентру че фачець лукрул ачеста?’ сэ рэспундець: ‘Домнул аре требуинцэ де ел.’ Ши ындатэ ыл ва тримите ынапой аич.”
And, if anyone says to you ‘Why are you doing that?’, say ‘The Master wants it, and will be sure to send it back here at once.’”
4 Ученичий с-ау дус, ау гэсит мэгэрушул легат афарэ, лынгэ о ушэ, ла котитура друмулуй, ши л-ау дезлегат.
The two disciples went, and, finding a foal tethered outside a door in the street, they untied it.
5 Уний дин чей че стэтяу аколо ле-ау зис: „Че фачець? Де че дезлегаць мэгэрушул ачеста?”
Some of the bystanders said to them, “What are you doing, untying the foal?”
6 Ей ау рэспунс кум ле порунчисе Исус. Ши й-ау лэсат сэ плече.
And the two disciples answered as Jesus had told them; and they allowed them to go.
7 Ау адус мэгэрушул ла Исус, шь-ау арункат хайнеле пе ел ши Исус а ынкэлекат пе ел.
Then they brought the foal to Jesus, and, when they had laid their cloaks on it, he seated himself on it.
8 Мулць оамень ышь аштерняу хайнеле пе друм, яр алций пресэрау рамурь пе каре ле тэясерэ де пе кымп.
Many of the people spread their cloaks on the road, while some strewed boughs which they had cut from the fields;
9 Чей че мерӂяу ынаинте ши чей че веняу дупэ Исус стригау: „Осана! Бинекувынтат есте Чел че вине ын Нумеле Домнулуй!
and those who led the way, as well as those who followed, kept shouting, “God save him! Blessed is He who comes in the name of the Lord!
10 Бинекувынтатэ есте Ымпэрэция каре вине, Ымпэрэция пэринтелуй ностру Давид! Осана ын черуриле пряыналте!”
Blessed is the coming kingdom of our father David! God save him from on high!”
11 Исус а интрат ын Иерусалим ши С-а дус ын Темплу. Дупэ че С-а уйтат ла тоате лукруриле де жур ымпрежур, фииндкэ ера пе ынсерате, а плекат ла Бетания ку чей дойспрезече.
Jesus entered Jerusalem, and went into the Temple Courts; and, after looking around at everything, as it was already late, he went out to Bethany with the Twelve.
12 А доуа зи, дупэ че ау ешит дин Бетания, Исус а флэмынзит.
The next day, after they had left Bethany, Jesus became hungry;
13 А зэрит де департе ун смокин каре авя фрунзе ши а венит сэ вадэ поате ва гэси чева ын ел. С-а апропият де смокин, дар н-а гэсит декыт фрунзе, кэч ну ера ынкэ время смокинелор.
and, noticing a fig tree at a distance in leaf, he went to it to see if by any chance he could find something on it; but, on coming up to it, he found nothing but leaves, for it was not the season for figs.
14 Атунч а луат кувынтул ши а зис смокинулуй: „Ын вяк сэ ну май мэнынче нимень род дин тине!” Ши ученичий ау аузит ачесте ворбе. (aiōn g165)
So, addressing the tree, he exclaimed, “May no one ever again eat of your fruit!” And his disciples heard what he said. (aiōn g165)
15 Ау ажунс ын Иерусалим ши Исус а интрат ын Темплу. А ынчепут сэ скоатэ афарэ пе чей че виндяу ши кумпэрау ын Темплу; а рэстурнат меселе скимбэторилор де бань ши скаунеле челор че виндяу порумбей.
They came to Jerusalem. Jesus went into the Temple Courts, and began to drive out those who were buying and selling there. He overturned the tables of the money changers, and the seats of the pigeon-dealers,
16 Ши ну лэса пе нимень сэ поарте вреун вас прин Темплу.
and would not allow anyone to carry anything across the Temple Courts.
17 Ши-й ынвэца ши зичя: „Оаре ну есте скрис: ‘КасаМя се ва кема о касэ де ругэчуне пентру тоате нямуриле’? Дар войаць фэкут дин еа о пештерэ де тылхарь.”
Then he began to teach. “Does not scripture say,” he asked, “‘My house will be called a house of prayer for all the nations’? But you have made it a den of robbers.”
18 Преоций чей май де сямэ ши кэртурарий, кынд ау аузит кувинтеле ачестя, кэутау кум сэ-Л омоаре, кэч се темяу де Ел, пентру кэ тот нородул ера уймит де ынвэцэтура Луй.
Now the chief priests and the teachers of the Law heard this and began to look for some way of putting Jesus to death; for they were afraid of him, since all the people were greatly impressed by his teaching.
19 Орь де кыте орь се ынсера, Исус ешя дин четате.
As soon as evening fell, Jesus and his disciples went out of the city.
20 Диминяца, кынд тречяу пе лынгэ смокин, ученичий л-ау вэзут ускат дин рэдэчинь.
As they passed by early in the morning, they noticed that the fig tree was withered up from the roots.
21 Петру шь-а адус аминте де челе петрекуте ши а зис луй Исус: „Ынвэцэторуле, уйте кэ смокинул пе каре л-ай блестемат с-а ускат.”
Then Peter recalled what had occurred. “Look, Rabbi,” he exclaimed, “the fig tree which you doomed is withered up!”
22 Исус а луат кувынтул ши ле-а зис: „Авець крединцэ ын Думнезеу!
“Have faith in God!” replied Jesus.
23 Адевэратвэ спун кэ, дакэ ва зиче чинева мунтелуй ачестуя: ‘Ридикэ-те ши арункэ-те ын маре’ ши дакэ ну се ва ындои ын инима луй, чи ва креде кэ че зиче се ва фаче, ва авя лукрул черут.
“I tell you that if anyone should say to this hill ‘Be lifted up and hurled into the sea!’, without ever a doubt in his mind, but in the faith that what he says will be done, he would find that it would be.
24 Де ачея вэ спун кэ, орьчелукру вець чере, кынд вэ ругаць, сэ кредець кэ л-аць ши примит, ши-л вець авя.
And therefore I say to you ‘Have faith that whatever you ask for in prayer is already granted you, and you will find that it will be.’
25 Ши, кынд стаць ын пичоаре де вэ ругаць, сэ ертацьорьче авець ымпотрива куйва, пентру ка ши Татэл востру, каре есте ын черурь, сэ вэ ерте грешелиле воастре.
“And, whenever you stand up to pray, forgive any grievance that you have against anyone, so that your Father who is in heaven also may forgive you your offenses.”
26 Дар дакэну ертаць, нич Татэл востру, каре есте ын черурь, ну вэ ва ерта грешелиле воастре.”
27 С-ау дус дин ноу ын Иерусалим. Ши, пе кынд Се плимба Исус прин Темплу, ау венит ла Ел преоций чей май де сямэ, кэртурарий ши бэтрыний
They came to Jerusalem again. While Jesus was walking about in the Temple Courts, the chief priests, the teachers of the Law, and the elders came up to him.
28 ши Й-ау зис: „Ку че путере фачь Ту ачесте лукрурь? Ши чине Ць-а дат путеря ачаста ка сэ ле фачь?”
“What authority have you to do these things?” they said. “Who gave you the authority to do them?”
29 Исус ле-а рэспунс: „Ам сэ вэ пун ши Еу о ынтребаре. Рэспундеци-Мь ла еа ши апой вэ вой спуне ши Еу ку че путере фак ачесте лукрурь.
“I will put one question to you,” said Jesus. “Answer me that, and then I will tell you what authority I have to act as I do.
30 Ботезул луй Иоан веня дин чер орь де ла оамень? Рэспундеци-Мь!”
It is about John’s baptism. Was it of divine or human origin? Answer me that.”
31 Ей ынсэ ворбяу астфел ынтре ей: „Дакэ рэспундем: ‘Дин чер’, ва зиче: ‘Дар де че ну л-аць крезут?’
They began arguing together. “If we say ‘divine,’ he will say ‘Why then didn’t you believe him?’
32 Ши дакэ вом рэспунде: ‘Де ла оамень…’”, се темяу де нород, кэч тоць сокотяу кэ Иоан а фост ын адевэр ун пророк.
Yet can we say ‘human’?” They were afraid of the people, for everyone regarded John as undoubtedly a prophet.
33 Атунч ау рэспунс луй Исус: „Ну штим.” Ши Исус ле-а зис: „Нич Еу н-ам сэ вэ спун ку че путере фак ачесте лукрурь.”
So their answer to Jesus was – “We do not know.” “Then I,” replied Jesus, “refuse to tell you what authority I have to do these things.”
