1 Тоць копиий луй Исраел ау ешит де ла Дан пынэ ла Беер-Шеба ши цара Галаадулуй ши адунаря с-а стрынс ка ун сингур ом ынаинтя Домнулуй ла Мицпа.
Then all the children of Israel went out, and the congregation was assembled as one man, from Dan even to Beersheba, with the land of Gilead, to the LORD at Mizpah.
2 Кэпетенииле ынтрегулуй попор, тоате семинцииле луй Исраел, ау венит ын адунаря попорулуй луй Думнезеу: ерау патру суте де мий де оамень педештри, каре скотяу сабия.
The chiefs of all the people, even of all the tribes of Israel, presented themselves in the assembly of the people of God, four hundred thousand footmen who drew sword.
3 Ши фиий луй Бениамин ау аузит кэ се суисерэ копиий луй Исраел ла Мицпа. Копиий луй Исраел ау зис: „Спунець кум с-а ынтымплат ачастэ нелеӂюире?”
(Now the children of Benjamin heard that the children of Israel had gone up to Mizpah.) The children of Israel said, “Tell us, how did this wickedness happen?”
4 Атунч, левитул, бэрбатул фемеий каре фусесе учисэ, а луат кувынтул ши а зис: „Ажунсесем ымпреунэ ку циитоаря мя ла Гибея луй Бениамин ка сэ рэмынем песте ноапте аколо.
The Levite, the husband of the woman who was murdered, answered, “I came into Gibeah that belongs to Benjamin, I and my concubine, to spend the night.
5 Локуиторий дин Гибея с-ау скулат ымпотрива мя ши ау ынконжурат ноаптя каса ын каре ерам. Авяу де гынд сэ мэ омоаре, ау силуит пе циитоаря мя, пынэ кынд а мурит.
The men of Gibeah rose against me, and surrounded the house by night. They intended to kill me and they raped my concubine, and she is dead.
6 Мь-ам луат циитоаря ши ам тэят-о ын букэць, пе каре ле-ам тримис ын тот цинутул моштенирий луй Исраел, кэч ау сэвыршит о нелеӂюире ши о мишелие ын Исраел.
I took my concubine and cut her in pieces, and sent her throughout all the country of the inheritance of Israel; for they have committed lewdness and folly in Israel.
7 Ятэ-вэ пе тоць, копий ай луй Исраел, сфэтуици-вэ ши луаць о хотэрыре аич!”
Behold, you children of Israel, all of you, give here your advice and counsel.”
8 Тот попорул с-а скулат ка ун сингур ом ши а зис: „Ничунул дин ной сэ ну се дукэ ын кортул луй ши нимень сэ ну се ынтоаркэ акасэ.
All the people arose as one man, saying, “None of us will go to his tent, neither will any of us turn to his house.
9 Ятэ акум че вом фаче четэций Гибея: сэ мерӂем ымпотрива ей дупэ кум вом еши ла сорць.
But now this is the thing which we will do to Gibeah: we will go up against it by lot;
10 Сэ луэм дин тоате семинцииле луй Исраел зече оамень дин о сутэ, о сутэ динтр-о мие ши о мие дин зече мий; ей сэ се дукэ сэ кауте меринде пентру попор, пентру ка, ла ынтоарчеря лор, сэ фачем четэций Гибея дин Бениамин потривит ку тоатэ мишелия пе каре а фэкут-о еа ын Исраел.”
and we will take ten men of one hundred throughout all the tribes of Israel, and one hundred of one thousand, and a thousand out of ten thousand to get food for the people, that they may do, when they come to Gibeah of Benjamin, according to all the folly that the men of Gibeah have done in Israel.”
11 Астфел, тоць бэрбаций луй Исраел с-ау стрынс ымпотрива четэций, униць ка ун сингур ом.
So all the men of Israel were gathered against the city, knit together as one man.
12 Семинцииле луй Исраел ау тримис ниште оамень ын тоате фамилииле луй Бениамин, ка сэ-й спунэ: „Че ынсямнэ нелеӂюиря ачаста каре с-а фэкут ынтре вой?
The tribes of Israel sent men through all the tribe of Benjamin, saying, “What wickedness is this that has happened among you?
13 Скоатець афарэ акум пе оамений ачея стрикаць дин Гибея ка сэ-й оморым ши сэ курэцэм рэул дин мижлокул луй Исраел.” Дар бениамиций н-ау врут сэ аскулте гласул фрацилор лор, копиий луй Исраел.
Now therefore deliver up the men, the wicked fellows who are in Gibeah, that we may put them to death and put away evil from Israel.” But Benjamin would not listen to the voice of their brothers, the children of Israel.
14 Бениамиций ау ешит дин четэциле лор ши с-ау стрынс ла Гибея ка сэ лупте ымпотрива копиилор луй Исраел.
The children of Benjamin gathered themselves together out of the cities to Gibeah, to go out to battle against the children of Israel.
15 Нумэрул бениамицилор ешиць ын зиуа ачея дин четэць а фост де доуэзечь ши шасе де мий де оамень каре скотяу сабия, фэрэ сэ се май сокотяскэ ши локуиторий дин Гибея, каре алкэтуяу шапте суте де оамень алешь.
The children of Benjamin were counted on that day out of the cities twenty-six thousand men who drew the sword, in addition to the inhabitants of Gibeah, who were counted seven hundred chosen men.
16 Ын тот попорул ачеста, ерау шапте суте де оамень алешь каре ну се служяу де мына дряптэ; тоць ачештя, арункынд о пятрэ ку праштия, путяу сэ окяскэ ун фир де пэр ши ну дэдяу греш.
Among all these soldiers there were seven hundred chosen men who were left-handed. Every one of them could sling a stone at a hair and not miss.
17 С-а фэкут ши нумэрэтоаря бэрбацилор луй Исраел, афарэ де ай луй Бениамин, ши с-ау гэсит патру суте де мий каре скотяу сабия, тоць бэрбаць де рэзбой.
The men of Israel, besides Benjamin, were counted four hundred thousand men who drew sword. All these were men of war.
18 Ши копиий луй Исраел с-ау скулат, с-ау суит ла Бетел ши ау ынтребат пе Думнезеу, зикынд: „Чине дин ной сэ се суе ынтый ка сэ лупте ымпотрива фиилор луй Бениамин?” Домнул а рэспунс: „Иуда сэ се суе ынтый.”
The children of Israel arose, went up to Bethel, and asked counsel of God. They asked, “Who shall go up for us first to battle against the children of Benjamin?” The LORD said, “Judah first.”
19 Копиий луй Исраел ау порнит дис-де-диминяцэ ши ау тэбэрыт ла Гибея.
The children of Israel rose up in the morning and encamped against Gibeah.
20 Ши бэрбаций луй Исраел ау ынаинтат ка сэ ынчапэ лупта ымпотрива бэрбацилор луй Бениамин ши с-ау ашезат ын линие де бэтае ымпотрива лор ынаинтя четэций Гибея.
The men of Israel went out to battle against Benjamin; and the men of Israel set the battle in array against them at Gibeah.
21 Фиий луй Бениамин ау ешит дин Гибея ши ын зиуа ачея ау кулкат ла пэмынт доуэзечь ши доуэ де мий де оамень дин Исраел.
The children of Benjamin came out of Gibeah, and on that day destroyed twenty-two thousand of the Israelite men down to the ground.
22 Попорул, бэрбаций луй Исраел, с-а ымбэрбэтат ши с-а ашезат дин ноу ын линие де бэтае ын локул унде се ашезасе ын зиуа ынтый.
The people, the men of Israel, encouraged themselves, and set the battle again in array in the place where they set themselves in array the first day.
23 Ши копиий луй Исраел с-ау суит ши ау плынс ынаинтя Домнулуй пынэ сяра; ау ынтребат пе Домнул ши ау зис: „Сэ мэ май суй ла луптэ ымпотрива фиилор фрателуй меу Бениамин?” Домнул а рэспунс: „Суици-вэ ымпотрива луй.”
The children of Israel went up and wept before the LORD until evening; and they asked of the LORD, saying, “Shall I again draw near to battle against the children of Benjamin my brother?” The LORD said, “Go up against him.”
24 Копиий луй Исраел ау ынаинтат ымпотрива фиилор луй Бениамин ын зиуа а доуа.
The children of Israel came near against the children of Benjamin the second day.
25 Ши ын ачеяшь зи, бениамиций ле-ау ешит ынаинте дин Гибея ши ярэшь ау кулкат ла пэмынт оптспрезече мий де оамень дин копиий луй Исраел, тоць ын старе сэ поарте армеле.
Benjamin went out against them out of Gibeah the second day, and destroyed down to the ground of the children of Israel again eighteen thousand men. All these drew the sword.
26 Тоць копиий луй Исраел ши тот попорул с-ау суит ши ау венит ла Бетел; ау плынс ши ау рэмас аколо ынаинтя Домнулуй, ау постит ын зиуа ачея пынэ сяра ши ау адус ардерь-де-тот ши жертфе де мулцумире ынаинтя Домнулуй.
Then all the children of Israel and all the people went up, and came to Bethel, and wept, and sat there before the LORD, and fasted that day until evening; then they offered burnt offerings and peace offerings before the LORD.
27 Ши копиий луй Исраел ау ынтребат пе Домнул – аколо се гэся атунч кивотул легэмынтулуй луй Думнезеу,
The children of Israel asked the LORD (for the ark of the covenant of God was there in those days,
28 ши Финеас, фиул луй Елеазар, фиул луй Аарон, стэтя пе время ачея ынаинтя луй Думнезеу – ши ау зис: „Сэ май порнеск ла луптэ ымпотрива фиилор фрателуй меу Бениамин сау сэ мэ лас?” Домнул а рэспунс: „Суици-вэ, кэч мыне ый вой да ын мыниле воастре.”
and Phinehas, the son of Eleazar, the son of Aaron, stood before it in those days), saying, “Shall I yet again go out to battle against the children of Benjamin my brother, or shall I cease?” The LORD said, “Go up; for tomorrow I will deliver him into your hand.”
29 Атунч, Исраел а пус ниште оамень ла пындэ ын журул четэций Гибея.
Israel set ambushes all around Gibeah.
30 Копиий луй Исраел с-ау суит ымпотрива фиилор луй Бениамин а трея зи ши с-ау ашезат ын линие де бэтае ынаинтя четэций Гибея, ка ши ын челелалте дэць.
The children of Israel went up against the children of Benjamin on the third day, and set themselves in array against Gibeah, as at other times.
31 Ши фиий луй Бениамин ау ешит ынаинтя попорулуй ши ау фост трашь департе де четате. Ау ынчепут сэ ловяскэ де моарте ын попор, ка ши ын челелалте дэць, пе друмуриле челе марь, каре суе унул ла Бетел ши алтул ла Гибея прин кымпие, ши ау учис апроапе трейзечь де бэрбаць дин Исраел.
The children of Benjamin went out against the people, and were drawn away from the city; and they began to strike and kill of the people as at other times, in the highways, of which one goes up to Bethel and the other to Gibeah, in the field, about thirty men of Israel.
32 Фиий луй Бениамин зичяу: „Ятэ-й бэтуць ынаинтя ноастрэ ка ши май ынаинте!” Дар копиий луй Исраел зичяу: „Сэ фуӂим ши сэ-й траӂем департе де четате, ла друмул маре.”
The children of Benjamin said, “They are struck down before us, as at the first.” But the children of Israel said, “Let’s flee, and draw them away from the city to the highways.”
33 Тоць бэрбаций луй Исраел шь-ау пэрэсит локуриле ши с-ау ыншируит де бэтае ла Баал-Тамар; ши оамений луй Исраел каре стэтяу ла пындэ с-ау арункат дин локул ын каре ерау, дин Мааре-Гибея.
All the men of Israel rose up out of their place and set themselves in array at Baal Tamar. Then the ambushers of Israel broke out of their place, even out of Maareh Geba.
34 Зече мий де оамень алешь дин тот Исраелул ау ажунс ынаинтя четэций Гибея. Лупта а фост апригэ, ши бениамиций ну-шь ынкипуяу прэпэдул прин каре авяу сэ трякэ.
Ten thousand chosen men out of all Israel came over against Gibeah, and the battle was severe; but they did not know that disaster was close to them.
35 Домнул а бэтут пе Бениамин ынаинтя луй Исраел, ши копиий луй Исраел ау учис ын зиуа ачея доуэзечь ши чинч де мий о сутэ де оамень дин Бениамин, тоць ын старе сэ поарте армеле.
The LORD struck Benjamin before Israel; and the children of Israel destroyed of Benjamin that day twenty-five thousand one hundred men. All these drew the sword.
36 Фиий луй Бениамин кредяу кэ бэрбаций луй Исраел сунт бэтуць, кэч ачештя фэчяу лок бениамицилор ши се бизуяу пе оамений пе каре-й пусесерэ ла пындэ ымпотрива четэций Гибея.
So the children of Benjamin saw that they were struck, for the men of Israel yielded to Benjamin because they trusted the ambushers whom they had set against Gibeah.
37 Оамений де ла пындэ с-ау арункат репеде асупра четэций Гибея, ау порнит ынаинте ши ау трекут тоатэ четатя прин аскуцишул сабией.
The ambushers hurried, and rushed on Gibeah; then the ambushers spread out, and struck all the city with the edge of the sword.
38 Дупэ ун семн асупра кэруя се ынвоисерэ ку бэрбаций луй Исраел, чей де ла пындэ авяу сэ факэ сэ се ыналце дин четате ун фум грос.
Now the appointed sign between the men of Israel and the ambushers was that they should make a great cloud of smoke rise up out of the city.
39 Атунч, бэрбаций луй Исраел с-ау ынторс ын луптэ. Бениамиций ле оморысерэ апроапе трейзечь де оамень ши зичяу: „Негрешит, ятэ-й бэтуць ынаинтя ноастрэ, ка ын чя динтый луптэ!”
The men of Israel turned in the battle, and Benjamin began to strike and kill of the men of Israel about thirty persons; for they said, “Surely they are struck down before us, as in the first battle.”
40 Дар ун фум грос ынчепя сэ се ыналце атунч дин четате. Бениамиций с-ау уйтат ынапой ши ятэ кэ флэкэриле се ридикау дин четатя ынтрягэ спре чер.
But when the cloud began to arise up out of the city in a pillar of smoke, the Benjamites looked behind them; and behold, the whole city went up in smoke to the sky.
41 Бэрбаций луй Исраел се ынторсесерэ; ши бэрбаций луй Бениамин с-ау ынспэймынтат, вэзынд прэпэдул каре авя сэ-й ажунгэ.
The men of Israel turned, and the men of Benjamin were dismayed; for they saw that disaster had come on them.
42 Ау дат досул ынаинтя бэрбацилор луй Исраел ши ау фуӂит пе каля каре дуче ын пустиу. Дар нэвэлиторий с-ау луат дупэ ей, яр пе чей че ешисерэ дин четате й-ау кулкат ла пэмынт, кэч ый принсесерэ ла мижлок.
Therefore they turned their backs before the men of Israel to the way of the wilderness, but the battle followed hard after them; and those who came out of the cities destroyed them in the middle of it.
43 Ау ынконжурат пе Бениамин, л-ау гонит ши л-ау здробит де ындатэ че воя сэ се одихняскэ, пынэ ын фаца четэций Гибея ынспре соаре-рэсаре.
They surrounded the Benjamites, chased them, and trod them down at their resting place, as far as near Gibeah toward the sunrise.
44 Оптспрезече мий де бэрбаць ау кэзут дин Бениамин, тоць войничь.
Eighteen thousand men of Benjamin fell; all these were men of valor.
45 Дин чей че ау дат досул ка сэ фугэ спре пустиу ла стынка Римон, бэрбаций луй Исраел ау нимичит чинч мий пе друмурь; й-ау урмэрит пынэ ла Гидеом ши ау учис дин ей доуэ мий.
They turned and fled toward the wilderness to the rock of Rimmon. They gleaned five thousand men of them in the highways, and followed hard after them to Gidom, and struck two thousand men of them.
46 Ынтрег нумэрул бениамицилор каре ау перит ын зиуа ачея а фост де доуэзечь ши чинч де мий де оамень ын старе сэ поарте армеле, тоць войничь.
So that all who fell that day of Benjamin were twenty-five thousand men who drew the sword. All these were men of valor.
47 Шасе суте де оамень ерау чей че дэдусерэ досул ши фуӂисерэ спре пустиу ла стынка Римон; аколо ау рэмас патру лунь.
But six hundred men turned and fled toward the wilderness to the rock of Rimmon, and stayed in the rock of Rimmon four months.
48 Бэрбаций луй Исраел с-ау ынторс ла фиий луй Бениамин ши й-ау трекут прин аскуцишул сабией, де ла оамений дин четэць пынэ ла добитоаче ши тот че ау гэсит. Ау пус, де асеменя, фок тутурор четэцилор пе каре ле-ау гэсит ын кале.
The men of Israel turned again on the children of Benjamin, and struck them with the edge of the sword—including the entire city, the livestock, and all that they found. Moreover they set all the cities which they found on fire.
