1 Ынӂерул Домнулуй С-а суит дин Гилгал ла Боким ши а зис: „Еу в-ам скос дин Еӂипт ши в-ам адус ын цара пе каре ам журат пэринцилор воштри кэ в-о вой да. Ам зис: ‘Ничодатэ ну вой рупе легэмынтул Меу ку вой,
And the agent of Jehovah came up from Gilgal to Bochim. And he said, I made you go up out of Egypt, and have brought you to the land which I swore to your fathers. And I said, I will never break my covenant with you.
2 ши вой сэ ну ынкеяць легэмынт ку локуиторий дин цара ачаста, чи сэ ле сурпаць алтареле.’ Дар вой н-аць аскултат де гласул Меу. Пентру че аць фэкут лукрул ачеста?
And ye shall make no covenant with the inhabitants of this land. Ye shall break down their altars. But ye have not hearkened to my voice. Why have ye done this?
3 Ам зис атунч: ‘Ну-й вой изгони динаинтя воастрэ, чи вэ вор ста ын коасте ши думнезеий лор вэ вор фи о курсэ.’”
Therefore I also said, I will not drive them out from before you, but they shall be as thorns in your sides, and their gods shall be a snare to you.
4 Дупэ че а спус Ынӂерул Домнулуй ачесте ворбе тутурор копиилор луй Исраел, попорул а ридикат гласул ши а плынс.
And it came to pass, when the agent of Jehovah spoke these words to all the sons of Israel, that the people lifted up their voice, and wept.
5 Ау пус локулуй ачелуя нумеле Боким ши ау адус жертфе Домнулуй аколо.
And they called the name of that place Bochim, and they sacrificed there to Jehovah.
6 Иосуа а дат друмул попорулуй, ши копиий луй Исраел ау плекат, фиекаре, ын моштениря луй, ка сэ я цара ын стэпынире.
Now when Joshua had sent the people away, the sons of Israel went every man to his inheritance to possess the land.
7 Попорул а служит Домнулуй ын тот тимпул веций луй Иосуа ши ын тот тимпул веций бэтрынилор каре ау трэит дупэ Иосуа ши каре вэзусерэ тоате лукруриле марь пе каре ле фэкусе Домнул пентру Исраел.
And the people served Jehovah all the days of Joshua, and all the days of the elders who outlived Joshua, who had seen all the great work of Jehovah that he had wrought for Israel.
8 Иосуа, фиул луй Нун, робул Домнулуй, а мурит ын вырстэ де о сутэ зече ань.
And Joshua the son of Nun, the servant of Jehovah, died, being a hundred and ten years old.
9 Л-ау ынгропат ын цинутул пе каре-л авя де моштенире, ла Тимнат-Херес, ын мунтеле луй Ефраим, ла мязэноапте де мунтеле Гааш.
And they buried him in the border of his inheritance in Timnath-heres, in the hill-country of Ephraim, on the north of the mountain of Gaash.
10 Тот нямул ачела де оамень а фост адэугат ла пэринций луй ши с-а ридикат дупэ ел ун алт ням де оамень, каре ну куноштя пе Домнул, нич че фэкусе Ел пентру Исраел.
And also all that generation were gathered to their fathers. And there arose another generation after them that did not know Jehovah, nor yet the work which he had wrought for Israel.
11 Копиий луй Исраел ау фэкут атунч че ну плэчя Домнулуй ши ау служит баалилор.
And the sons of Israel did that which was evil in the sight of Jehovah, and served the Baalim.
12 Ау пэрэсит пе Домнул Думнезеул пэринцилор лор, каре-й скосесе дин цара Еӂиптулуй, ши ау мерс дупэ алць думнезей, динтре думнезеий попоарелор каре-й ынконжурау; с-ау ынкинат ынаинтя лор ши ау мыният пе Домнул.
And they forsook Jehovah, the God of their fathers, who brought them out of the land of Egypt, and followed other gods, of the gods of the peoples that were round about them, and bowed themselves down to them. And they provoked Jehovah to anger.
13 Ау пэрэсит пе Домнул ши ау служит луй Баал ши астартеелор.
And they forsook Jehovah, and served Baal and the Ashtaroth.
14 Домнул С-а апринс де мыние ымпотрива луй Исраел. Ел й-а дат ын мыниле унор прэдэторь каре й-ау прэдат, й-а вындут ын мыниле врэжмашилор лор де жур ымпрежур ши ну с-ау май путут ымпотриви врэжмашилор лор.
And the anger of Jehovah was kindled against Israel, and he delivered them into the hands of spoilers that despoiled them. And he sold them into the hands of their enemies round about, so that they could not any longer stand before their enemies.
15 Орьунде мерӂяу, мына Домнулуй ера ымпотрива лор, ка сэ ле факэ рэу, кум спусесе Домнул ши кум ле журасе Домнул. Ау ажунс астфел ынтр-о маре стрымтораре.
Wherever they went out, the hand of Jehovah was against them for evil, as Jehovah had spoken, and as Jehovah had sworn to them. And they were exceedingly distressed.
16 Домнул а ридикат жудекэторь ка сэ-й избэвяскэ дин мына челор че-й прэдау.
And Jehovah raised up judges who saved them out of the hand of those who despoiled them.
17 Дар ей н-ау аскултат нич де жудекэторий лор, кэч ау курвит ку алць думнезей ши с-ау ынкинат ынаинтя лор. Ын курынд с-ау абэтут де ла каля пе каре о урмасерэ пэринций лор ши н-ау аскултат де порунчиле Домнулуй, ка ши ей.
And yet they did not hearken to their judges, for they played the harlot after other gods, and bowed themselves down to them. They turned aside quickly out of the way in which their fathers walked, obeying the commandments of Jehovah. They did not do so.
18 Кынд ле ридика Домнул жудекэторь, Домнул ера ку жудекэторул ши-й избэвя дин мына врэжмашилор лор ын тот тимпул веций жудекэторулуй, кэч Домнулуй И се фэчя милэ де суспинеле скоасе де ей ымпотрива челор че-й апэсау ши-й кинуяу.
And when Jehovah raised up judges for them, then Jehovah was with the judge, and saved them out of the hand of their enemies all the days of the judge. For Jehovah regretted because of their groaning because of those who oppressed them and vexed them.
19 Дар, дупэ моартя жудекэторулуй, се стрикау дин ноу, май мулт декыт пэринций лор, дукынду-се дупэ алць думнезей, ка сэ ле служяскэ ши сэ се ынкине ынаинтя лор, ши стэруяу ын ачастэ пуртаре ши ымпетрире.
But it came to pass, when the judge was dead, that they turned back, and dealt more corruptly than their fathers, in following other gods to serve them, and to bow down to them. They did not cease from their doings, nor from their stubborn way.
20 Атунч, Домнул С-а апринс де мыние ымпотрива луй Исраел ши а зис: „Фииндкэ нямул ачеста а кэлкат легэмынтул Меу пе каре-л порунчисем пэринцилор лор ши фииндкэ н-ау аскултат де гласул Меу,
And the anger of Jehovah was kindled against Israel, and he said, Because this nation has transgressed my covenant which I commanded their fathers, and has not hearkened to my voice,
21 ну вой май изгони динаинтя лор ничунул дин нямуриле пе каре ле-а лэсат Иосуа кынд а мурит.
I also will not henceforth drive out any from before them of the nations that Joshua left when he died,
22 Астфел, прин еле, вой пуне пе Исраел ла ынчеркаре, ка сэ штиу дакэ вор кэута сау ну сэ урмезе каля Домнулуй, кум ау кэутат пэринций лор.”
that by them I may prove Israel, whether they will keep the way of Jehovah to walk in it, as their fathers kept it, or not.
23 Ши Домнул а лэсат ын паче пе попоареле ачеля пе каре ну ле дэдусе ын мыниле луй Иосуа ши ну С-а грэбит сэ ле изгоняскэ.
So Jehovah left those nations, without driving them out quickly. Neither did he deliver them into the hand of Joshua.
