1 Самсон а плекат ла Газа; аколо а вэзут о курвэ ши а интрат ла еа.
Then went Samson to Gaza, and saw there a harlot, and went in to her.
2 С-а спус оаменилор дин Газа: „Самсон а венит аич.” Ши л-ау ынконжурат ши ау пындит тоатэ ноаптя ла поарта четэций. Ау стат лиништиць тоатэ ноаптя ши ау зис: „Кынд се ва лумина де зиуэ, ыл вом оморы.”
[And it was told] the Gazites, saying, Samson is come hither. And they encompassed [him], and laid wait for him all night in the gate of the city, and were quiet all the night, saying, In the morning when it is day we shall kill him.
3 Самсон а рэмас кулкат пынэ ла мезул нопций. Пе ла мезул нопций, с-а скулат ши а апукат порциле четэций ку амындой стылпий, ле-а скос ымпреунэ ку зэворул, ле-а пус пе умерь ши ле-а дус пе вырфул мунтелуй дин фаца Хебронулуй.
And Samson lay till midnight, and arose at midnight, and took the doors of the gate of the city, and the two posts, and went away with them, bar and all, and put [them] upon his shoulders, and carried them up to the top of a hill that [is] before Hebron.
4 Дупэ ачея, а юбит пе о фемее ын валя Сорек. Еа се нумя Далила.
And it came to pass afterward, that he loved a woman in the valley of Sorek, whose name [was] Delilah.
5 Домниторий филистенилор с-ау суит ла еа ши й-ау зис: „Ындуплекэ-л ши афлэ де унде-й вине путеря луй чя маре ши кум ам путя сэ-л бируим, ка сэ-л легэм ши сэ-л слэбим, ши-ць вом да фиекаре кыте о мие о сутэ де сикли де арӂинт.”
And the lords of the Philistines came to her, and said to her, Entice him, and see in what his great strength [lieth], and by what [means] we may prevail against him, that we may bind him to afflict him: and we will give thee every one of us eleven hundred [pieces] of silver.
6 Далила а зис луй Самсон: „Спуне-мь, те рог, де унде-ць вине путеря та чя маре ши ку че ар требуи сэ фий легат ка сэ фий бируит.”
And Delilah said to Samson, Tell me, I pray thee, in what thy great strength [lieth], and with what thou mayest be bound to afflict thee.
7 Самсон й-а зис: „Дакэ аш фи легат ку шапте фуний ной, каре сэ ну фие ускате ынкэ, аш слэби ши аш фи ка орьче алт ом.”
And Samson said to her, If they bind me with seven green withs, that were never dried, then shall I be weak, and be as another man.
8 Домниторий филистенилор ау адус Далилей шапте фуний ной, неускате ынкэ. Ши еа л-а легат ку фунииле ачестя.
Then the lords of the Philistines brought to her seven green withs, which had not been dried, and she bound him with them.
9 Яр ниште оамень стэтяу ла пындэ ла еа, ынтр-о одае. Еа й-а зис: „Филистений сунт асупра та, Самсон!” Ши ел а рупт фунииле кум се рупе о ацэ де кылць кынд се атинӂе де фок. Ши, астфел, н-ау штиут де унде-й веня путеря.
(Now [there were] men lying in wait, abiding with her in the chamber.) And she said to him, The Philistines [are] upon thee, Samson. And he broke the withs as a thread of tow is broken when it toucheth the fire. So his strength was not known.
10 Далила а зис луй Самсон: „Везь, ць-ай бэтут жок де мине, мь-ай спус минчунь. Акум, те рог, аратэ-мь ку че требуе сэ фий легат.”
And Delilah said to Samson, Behold, thou hast mocked me, and told me lies: now tell me, I pray thee, with what thou mayest be bound.
11 Ел й-а зис: „Дакэ аш фи легат ку фуний ной, каре сэ ну фи фост ынтребуинцате ничодатэ, аш слэби ши аш фи ка орьче алт ом.”
And he said to her, If they bind me fast with new ropes that never were used, then shall I be weak, and be as another man.
12 Далила а луат ниште фуний ной ши л-а легат ку еле. Апой й-а зис: „Филистений сунт асупра та, Самсон!” Яр ниште оамень стэтяу ла пындэ ынтр-о одае. Ши ел а рупт фунииле де ла браце ка пе о ацэ.
Delilah therefore took new ropes, and bound him with them, and said to him, The Philistines [are] upon thee, Samson. (And [there were] liers in wait abiding in the chamber.) And he broke them from off his arms like a thread.
13 Далила а зис луй Самсон: „Пынэ акум ць-ай бэтут жок де мине ши мь-ай спус минчунь. Спуне-мь ку че требуе сэ фий легат.” Ел й-а зис: „Н-ай декыт сэ ымплетешть челе шапте шувице де пэр дин капул меу ын урзяла цесэтурий.”
And Delilah said to Samson, hitherto thou hast mocked me, and told me lies: tell me with what thou mayest be bound. And he said to her, If thou weavest the seven locks of my head with the web.
14 Ши еа ле-а пиронит ку ун куй де лемн ын пэмынт. Апой й-а зис: „Филистений сунт асупра та, Самсон!” Ши ел с-а трезит дин сомн ши а смулс куюл де лемн дин пэмынт ку урзялэ ку тот.
And she fastened [it] with the pin, and said to him, The Philistines [are] upon thee, Samson. And he awaked out of his sleep, and went away with the pin of the beam, and with the web.
15 Еа й-а зис: „Кум поць спуне: ‘Те юбеск!’, кынд инима та ну есте ку мине? Ятэ кэ де трей орь ць-ай бэтут жок де мине ши ну мь-ай спус де унде-ць вине путеря та чя маре.”
And she said to him, How canst thou say, I love thee, when thy heart [is] not with me? Thou hast mocked me these three times, and hast not told me in what thy great strength [lieth].
16 Фииндкэ еа ыл некэжя ши-л кинуя ын фиекаре зи ку стэруинцеле ей, суфлетул и с-а умплут де о нелиниште де моарте,
And it came to pass when she pressed him daily with her words, and urged him, [so] that his soul was vexed to death;
17 шь-а дескис тоатэ инима фацэ де еа ши й-а зис: „Бричул н-а трекут песте капул меу, пентру кэ сунт ынкинат Домнулуй дин пынтечеле майчий меле. Дакэ аш фи рас, путеря м-ар пэрэси, аш слэби ши аш фи ка орьче алт ом.”
That he told her all his heart, and said to her, There hath not come a razor upon my head; for I [have been] a Nazarite to God from my birth: if I be shaved, then my strength will go from me, and I shall become weak, and be like any [other] man.
18 Далила, вэзынд кэ ышь дескисесе тоатэ инима фацэ де еа, а тримис сэ кеме пе домниторий филистенилор ши а пус сэ ле спунэ: „Суици-вэ де дата ачаста, кэч мь-а дескис тоатэ инима луй.” Ши домниторий филистенилор с-ау суит ла еа ши ау адус арӂинтул ын мынь.
And when Delilah saw that he had told her all his heart, she sent and called for the lords of the Philistines, saying, Come up this once, for he hath disclosed to me all his heart. Then the lords of the Philistines came up to her and brought money in their hand.
19 Еа л-а адормит пе ӂенункий ей. Ши, кемынд ун ом, а рас челе шапте шувице де пе капул луй Самсон ши а ынчепут астфел сэ-л слэбяскэ. Ел шь-а пердут путеря.
And she made him sleep upon her knees; and she called for a man, and she caused him to shave off the seven locks of his head; and she began to afflict him, and his strength went from him.
20 Атунч, еа а зис: „Филистений сунт асупра та, Самсон!” Ши ел с-а трезит дин сомн ши а зис: „Вой фаче ка ши май ынаинте ши мэ вой скутура.” Ну штия кэ Домнул Се депэртасе де ел.
And she said, the Philistines [are] upon thee, Samson. And he awoke out of his sleep, and said, I will go out as at other times before, and shake myself. And he knew not that the LORD had departed from him.
21 Филистений л-ау апукат ши й-ау скос окий; л-ау коборыт ла Газа ши л-ау легат ку ниште ланцурь де арамэ. Ел ынвыртя ла рышницэ ын темницэ.
But the Philistines took him and put out his eyes, and brought him down to Gaza, and bound him with fetters of brass; and he did grind in the prison-house.
22 Дар пэрул капулуй луй а ынчепут ярэшь сэ кряскэ дупэ че фусесе рас.
However the hair of his head began to grow again after he was shaved.
23 Ши домниторий филистенилор с-ау стрынс ка сэ адукэ о маре жертфэ думнезеулуй лор Дагон ши ка сэ се веселяскэ. Ей зичяу: „Думнезеул ностру а дат ын мыниле ноастре пе Самсон, врэжмашул ностру.”
Then the lords of the Philistines assembled to offer a great sacrifice to Dagon their god, and to rejoice: for they said, Our god hath delivered Samson our enemy into our hand.
24 Ши, кынд л-а вэзут попорул, ау лэудат пе думнезеул лор, зикынд: „Думнезеул ностру а дат ын мыниле ноастре пе врэжмашул ностру, пе ачела каре не пустия цара ши не ынмулця морций.”
And when the people saw him, they praised their god: for they said, Our god hath delivered into our hands our enemy, and the destroyer of our country; who slew many of us.
25 Ын букурия инимий лор, ау зис: „Кемаць пе Самсон, ка сэ не десфэтезе!” Ау скос пе Самсон дин темницэ ши ел а жукат ынаинтя лор. Л-ау ашезат ынтре стылпь.
And it came to pass, when their hearts were merry, that they said, Call for Samson that he may make us sport. And they called for Samson out of the prison-house; and he made them sport: and they set him between the pillars.
26 Ши Самсон а зис тынэрулуй каре-л циня де мынэ: „Ласэ-мэ ка сэ мэ пот атинӂе де стылпий пе каре се ряземэ каса ши сэ мэ рязем де ей.”
And Samson said to the lad that held him by the hand, Suffer me that I may feel the pillars upon which the house standeth, that I may lean upon them.
27 Каса ера плинэ де бэрбаць ши де фемей; тоць домниторий филистенилор ерау аколо ши пе акопериш ерау апроапе трей мий де иншь, бэрбаць ши фемей, каре привяу ла Самсон кум жука.
Now the house was full of men and women: and all the lords of the Philistines [were] there: and [there were] upon the roof about three thousand men and women, that beheld while Samson made sport.
28 Атунч Самсон а стригат кэтре Домнул ши а зис: „Доамне Думнезеуле, аду-Ць аминте де мине, Те рог; Думнезеуле, дэ-мь путере нумай де дата ачаста ши, ку о сингурэ ловитурэ, сэ мэ рэзбун пе филистень пентру чей дой окь ай мей!”
And Samson called to the LORD, and said, O Lord GOD, remember me, I pray thee, and strengthen me, I pray thee, only this once, O God, that I may be at once avenged of the Philistines for my two eyes.
29 Ши Самсон а ымбрэцишат амындой стылпий де ла мижлок пе каре се сприжиня каса ши с-а реземат де ей; унул ера ла дряпта луй ши алтул, ла стынга.
And Samson took hold of the two middle pillars upon which the house stood, and on which it was supported, of the one with his right hand, and of the other with his left.
30 Самсон а зис: „Сэ мор ымпреунэ ку филистений!” С-а плекат ку тоатэ путеря, ши каса а кэзут песте домниторь ши песте тот попорул каре ера аколо. Чей пе каре й-а прэпэдит ла моартя луй ау фост май мулць декыт чей пе каре-й оморысе ын тимпул веций.
And Samson said, Let me die with the Philistines. And he bowed himself with [all his] might; and the house fell upon the lords, and upon all the people that [were] in it. So the dead which he slew at his death were more than [they] which he slew in his life.
31 Фраций луй ши тоатэ каса татэлуй сэу с-ау коборыт ши л-ау луат. Кынд с-ау суит ынапой, л-ау ынгропат ынтре Цорея ши Ештаол, ын мормынтул татэлуй сэу Маноах. Ел фусесе жудекэтор ын Исраел доуэзечь де ань.
Then his brethren and all the house of his father came down, and took him, and brought [him] up, and buried him between Zorah and Eshtaol in the burying-place of Manoah his father. And he judged Israel twenty years.
