Иосуа 23
1 Де мултэ време Домнул дэдусе одихнэ луй Исраел, избэвинду-л де тоць врэжмаший каре-л ынконжурау. Иосуа ера бэтрын, ынаинтат ын вырстэ.
And it came to pass after many days, when Jehovah had given rest to Israel from all their enemies round about, and Joshua was old and well stricken in years,
2 Атунч, Иосуа а кемат пе тот Исраелул, пе бэтрыний луй, пе кэпетенииле луй, пе жудекэторий луй ши пе кэпетенииле оштий. Ши ле-а зис: „Еу сунт бэтрын, ынаинтат ын вырстэ.
that Joshua called for all Israel, for their elders, and for their heads, and for their judges, and for their officers, and said to them, I am old and well stricken in years,
3 Аць вэзут тот че а фэкут Домнул Думнезеул востру тутурор нямурилор ачелора динаинтя воастрэ, кэч Домнул Думнезеул востру а луптат пентру вой.
and ye have seen all that Jehovah your God has done to all these nations because of you, for Jehovah your God, he it is who has fought for you.
4 Ведець, в-ам дат ка моштенире прин сорць, дупэ семинцииле воастре, нямуриле ачестя каре ау рэмас, ынчепынд де ла Йордан, ши тоате нямуриле пе каре ле-ам нимичит, пынэ ла Маря чя Маре, спре апусул соарелуй.
Behold, I have allotted to you these nations that remain, to be an inheritance for your tribes, from the Jordan, with all the nations that I have cut off, even to the great sea toward the going down of the sun.
5 Домнул Думнезеул востру ле ва изгони динаинтя воастрэ ши ле ва алунга динаинтя воастрэ; ши вой ле вець стэпыни цара, кум а спус Домнул Думнезеул востру.
And Jehovah your God, he will thrust them out from before you, and drive them from out of your sight. And ye shall possess their land, as Jehovah your God spoke to you.
6 Пунеци-вэ тоатэ путеря ка сэ пэзиць ши сэ ымплиниць тот че есте скрис ын картя леӂий луй Мойсе, фэрэ сэ вэ абатець нич ла дряпта, нич ла стынга.
Therefore be ye very courageous to keep and to do all that is written in the book of the law of Moses, that ye not turn aside therefrom to the right hand or to the left;
7 Сэ ну вэ аместекаць ку нямуриле ачестя каре ау рэмас принтре вой; сэ ну ростиць нумеле думнезеилор лор ши сэ ну-л ынтребуинцаць ын журэмынт; сэ ну ле служиць ши сэ ну вэ ынкинаць ынаинтя лор.
that ye do not come among these nations, these that remain among you, neither make mention of the name of their gods, nor cause to swear by them, neither serve them, nor bow yourselves down to them,
8 Чи алипици-вэ де Домнул Думнезеул востру, кум аць фэкут пынэ ын зиуа ачаста.
but cling to Jehovah your God as ye have done to this day.
9 Домнул а изгонит динаинтя воастрэ нямурь марь ши путерниче ши нимень пынэ ын зиуа ачаста н-а путут сэ вэ стя ымпотривэ.
For Jehovah has driven out from before you great nations and strong. But as for you, no man has stood before you to this day.
10 Унул сингур динтре вой урмэря о мие дин ей, кэч Домнул Думнезеул востру лупта пентру вой, кум в-а спус.
One man of you shall chase a thousand, for Jehovah your God, he it is who fights for you, as he spoke to you.
11 Вегяць дар ку луаре аминте асупра суфлетелор воастре, ка сэ юбиць пе Домнул Думнезеул востру.
Take good heed therefore to yourselves, that ye love Jehovah your God.
12 Дакэ вэ вець абате ши вэ вець алипи де нямуриле ачестя каре ау рэмас принтре вой, дакэ вэ вець уни ку еле прин кэсэторие ши дакэ вець интра ын легэтурэ ку еле,
Else if ye do at all go back, and cling to the remnant of these nations, even these that remain among you, and make marriages with them, and go in to them, and they to you,
13 сэ фиць ынкрединцаць кэ Домнул Думнезеул востру ну ва май изгони ачесте нямурь динаинтя воастрэ, чи еле вэ вор фи о курсэ ши ун лац, ун бич ын коасте ши ниште спинь ын окь, пынэ вець пери де пе фаца ачестей цэрь буне пе каре в-а дат-о Домнул Думнезеул востру.
know for a certainty that Jehovah your God will no more drive these nations from out of your sight, but they shall be a snare and a trap to you, and a scourge in your sides, and thorns in your eyes, until ye perish from off this good land which Jehovah your God has given you.
14 Ятэ кэ астэзь еу мэ дук пе каля пе каре мерӂе тот че есте пэмынтеск. Рекуноаштець дар дин тоатэ инима воастрэ ши дин тот суфлетул востру кэ ничунул дин тоате кувинтеле буне ростите асупра воастрэ де Домнул Думнезеул востру н-а рэмас неымплинит; тоате ви с-ау ымплинит, ничунул н-а рэмас неымплинит.
And, behold, this day I am going the way of all the earth. And ye know in all your hearts and in all your souls, that not one thing has failed of all the good things which Jehovah your God spoke concerning you. All have come to pass to you; not one thing has failed of it.
15 Ши дупэ кум тоате кувинтеле буне пе каре ви ле спусесе Домнул Думнезеул востру с-ау ымплинит пентру вой, тот аша Домнул ва ымплини фацэ де вой тоате кувинтеле реле, пынэ вэ ва нимичи де пе фаца ачестей цэрь буне пе каре в-а дат-о Домнул Думнезеул востру.
And it shall come to pass, that as all the good things have come upon you of which Jehovah your God spoke to you, so will Jehovah bring upon you all the evil things, until he has destroyed you from off this good land which Jehovah your God has given you.
16 Дакэ вець кэлка легэмынтул пе каре ви л-а дат Домнул Думнезеул востру ши дакэ вэ вець дуче сэ служиць алтор думнезей ши сэ вэ ынкинаць ынаинтя лор, Домнул Се ва апринде де мыние ымпотрива воастрэ ши вець пери деграбэ дин цара чя бунэ пе каре в-а дат-о Ел.”
When ye transgress the covenant of Jehovah your God, which he commanded you, and go and serve other gods, and bow down yourselves to them, then the anger of Jehovah will be kindled against you, and ye shall perish quickly from off the good land which he has given to you.
