1 Адони-Цедек, ымпэратул Иерусалимулуй, а афлат кэ Иосуа пусесе мына пе Ай ши о нимичисе ку десэвыршире, кэ фэкусе четэций Ай ши ымпэратулуй ей кум фэкусе Иерихонулуй ши ымпэратулуй луй ши кэ локуиторий Габаонулуй фэкусерэ паче ку Исраел ши ерау ын мижлокул лор.
And it came to pass when Adoni-zedek king of Jerusalem heard that Joshua had taken Ai and had utterly destroyed it, that he had done to Ai and its king as he had done to Jericho and its king, and that the inhabitants of Gibeon had made peace with Israel, and were among them,
2 Атунч й-а фост фоарте маре фрикэ, фииндкэ Габаон ера о четате маре, ка уна дин четэциле ымпэрэтешть, май маре кяр декыт Ай, ши тоць бэрбаций ей ерау витежь.
that they feared greatly; for Gibeon was a great city, as one of the royal cities, and it was greater than Ai, and all its men were mighty.
3 Адони-Цедек, ымпэратул Иерусалимулуй, а тримис сэ спунэ луй Хохам, ымпэратул Хебронулуй, луй Пиреам, ымпэратул Иармутулуй, луй Иафиа, ымпэратул Лакисулуй, ши луй Дебир, ымпэратул Еглонулуй:
And Adoni-zedek king of Jerusalem sent to Hoham king of Hebron, and to Piream king of Jarmuth, and to Japhia king of Lachish, and to Debir king of Eglon, saying,
4 „Суици-вэ ла мине ши ажутаци-мэ, ка сэ батем Габаонул, кэч а фэкут паче ку Иосуа ши ку копиий луй Исраел.”
Come up to me, and help me, that we may smite Gibeon; for it has made peace with Joshua and with the children of Israel.
5 Чей чинч ымпэраць ай аморицилор: ымпэратул Иерусалимулуй, ымпэратул Хебронулуй, ымпэратул Иармутулуй, ымпэратул Лакисулуй ши ымпэратул Еглонулуй, с-ау адунат астфел ши с-ау суит ымпреунэ ку тоате оштиле лор; ау венит ши ау тэбэрыт лынгэ Габаон ши ау ынчепут сэ лупте ымпотрива луй.
And the five kings of the Amorites, the king of Jerusalem, the king of Hebron, the king of Jarmuth, the king of Lachish, [and] the king of Eglon, gathered themselves together, and went up, they and all their armies, and they encamped before Gibeon, and made war against it.
6 Оамений дин Габаон ау тримис сэ спунэ луй Иосуа, ын табэра дин Гилгал: „Ну пэрэси пе робий тэй, суе-те ла ной ын грабэ, избэвеште-не, дэ-не ажутор, кэч тоць ымпэраций аморицилор каре локуеск пе мунте с-ау стрынс ымпотрива ноастрэ.”
And the men of Gibeon sent to Joshua, to the camp at Gilgal, saying, Withdraw not thy hand from thy servants: come up to us quickly, and save us and help us; for all the kings of the Amorites that dwell in the hill-country are gathered against us.
7 Иосуа с-а суит дин Гилгал, ел ши тоць оамений де рэзбой ку ел ши тоць чей витежь.
So Joshua went up from Gilgal, he and all the people of war with him, even all the valiant men.
8 Домнул а зис луй Иосуа: „Ну те теме де ей, кэч ый дау ын мыниле тале ши ничунул дин ей ну ва путя сэ стя ымпотрива та.”
And Jehovah said to Joshua, Fear them not; for into thy hand have I given them: not a man of them shall stand before thee.
9 Иосуа а венит фэрэ весте песте ей, дупэ че а мерс тоатэ ноаптя де ла Гилгал.
And Joshua came upon them suddenly; he went up from Gilgal all night.
10 Домнул й-а пус ын ынвэлмэшялэ динаинтя луй Исраел; ши Исраел ле-а причинуит о маре ынфрынӂере ла Габаон, й-а урмэрит пе друмул каре суе ла Бет-Хорон ши й-а бэтут пынэ ла Азека ши пынэ ла Македа.
And Jehovah discomfited them before Israel, and smote them [with] a great slaughter at Gibeon; and he chased them on the way of the ascent of Beth-horon, and smote them up to Azekah and Makkedah.
11 Пе кынд фуӂяу ей динаинтя луй Исраел ши се коборау дин Бет-Хорон, Домнул а фэкут сэ кадэ дин чер песте ей ниште петре марь пынэ ла Азека ши ау перит; чей че ау мурит де петреле гриндиней ау фост май мулць декыт чей учишь ку сабия де копиий луй Исраел.
And it came to pass, as they fled from before Israel, — they were at the descent of Beth-horon, — that Jehovah cast down great stones from heaven upon them up to Azekah, and they died. They were more who died with the hailstones than they whom the children of Israel had slain with the sword.
12 Атунч, Иосуа а ворбит Домнулуй ын зиуа кынд а дат Домнул пе амориць ын мыниле копиилор луй Исраел ши а зис ын фаца луй Исраел: „Опреште-те, соаре, асупра Габаонулуй Ши ту, лунэ, асупра вэий Аиалонулуй!”
Then spoke Joshua to Jehovah in the day when Jehovah gave up the Amorites before the children of Israel, and he said in the sight of Israel, Sun, stand still upon Gibeon; And thou, moon, in the valley of Ajalon!
13 Ши соареле с-а оприт ши луна шь-а ынтрерупт мерсул, Пынэ че попорул шь-а рэзбунат пе врэжмаший луй. Лукрул ачеста ну есте скрис оаре ын Картя Дрептулуй? Соареле с-а оприт ын мижлокул черулуй ши ну с-а грэбит сэ апунэ апроапе о зи ынтрягэ.
And the sun stood still, and the moon remained where it was, until the nation had avenged themselves upon their enemies. Is not this written in the book of Jasher? And the sun remained standing in the midst of heaven, and hasted not to go down about a full day.
14 Н-а май фост ничо зи ка ачея, нич ынаинте, нич дупэ ачея, кынд Домнул сэ фи аскултат гласул унуй ом, кэч Домнул лупта пентру Исраел.
And there was no day like that before it or after it, that Jehovah hearkened to the voice of a man; for Jehovah fought for Israel.
15 Ши Иосуа ши тот Исраелул ымпреунэ ку ел с-ау ынторс ын табэрэ, ла Гилгал.
And Joshua returned, and all Israel with him, to the camp, to Gilgal.
16 Чей чинч ымпэраць ау фуӂит ши с-ау аскунс ынтр-о пештерэ ла Македа.
And these five kings fled, and hid themselves in the cave at Makkedah.
17 С-а спус лукрул ачеста луй Иосуа, зикынд: „Чей чинч ымпэраць се афлэ аскуншь ынтр-о пештерэ ла Македа.”
And it was told Joshua, saying, The five kings have been found, hid in the cave at Makkedah.
18 Иосуа а зис: „Прэвэлиць ниште петре марь ла интраря пештерий ши пунець ниште оамень сэ-й пэзяскэ.
And Joshua said, Roll great stones before the mouth of the cave, and set men before it to keep them.
19 Ши вой ну вэ оприць, чи урмэриць пе врэжмаший воштри ши батеци-й пе динапой; ну-й лэсаць сэ интре ын четэциле лор, кэч Домнул Думнезеул востру й-а дат ын мыниле воастре.”
And ye, stay not, pursue after your enemies, and smite the hindmost of them; suffer them not to enter into their cities; for Jehovah your God has given them into your hand.
20 Дупэ че Иосуа ши копиий луй Исраел ле-ау причинуит о фоарте маре ынфрынӂере ши й-ау бэтут ку десэвыршире, чей че ау путут скэпа ау интрат ын четэциле ынтэрите
And it came to pass when Joshua and the children of Israel had ended smiting them with a very great slaughter, until they were consumed, that the remnant which remained of them entered into fortified cities;
21 ши тот попорул с-а ынторс лиништит ын табэрэ ла Иосуа, ын Македа, фэрэ ка чинева сэ фи крыкнит ку лимба луй ымпотрива копиилор луй Исраел.
and all the people returned to the camp to Joshua, at Makkedah, in peace; none moved his tongue against the children of Israel.
22 Иосуа а зис атунч: „Дескидець интраря пештерий, скоатець афарэ дин еа пе чей чинч ымпэраць ши адучеци-й ла мине.”
And Joshua said, Open the mouth of the cave, and bring forth to me those five kings out of the cave.
23 Ей ау фэкут аша ши ау адус ла ел пе чей чинч ымпэраць, пе каре-й скосесерэ дин пештерэ: пе ымпэратул Иерусалимулуй, пе ымпэратул Хебронулуй, пе ымпэратул Иармутулуй, пе ымпэратул Лакисулуй ши пе ымпэратул Еглонулуй.
And they did so, and brought forth to him those five kings out of the cave, the king of Jerusalem, the king of Hebron, the king of Jarmuth, the king of Lachish, the king of Eglon.
24 Дупэ че ау адус пе ачешть ымпэраць ынаинтя луй Иосуа, Иосуа а кемат пе тоць бэрбаций луй Исраел ши а зис кэпетениилор оаменилор де рэзбой, каре мерсесерэ ку ел: „Апропияци-вэ ши пунеци-вэ пичоареле пе грумажий ымпэрацилор ачестора.” Ей с-ау апропият ши ау пус пичоареле пе грумажий лор.
And it came to pass when they had brought forth those kings to Joshua, that Joshua called to all the men of Israel, and said to the captains of the men of war who went with him, Come forward, put your feet on the necks of these kings. And they came forward and put their feet on their necks.
25 Иосуа ле-а зис: „Ну вэ темець ши ну вэ ынспэймынтаць, чи ынтэрици-вэ ши ымбэрбэтаци-вэ, кэч аша ва фаче Домнул тутурор врэжмашилор воштри ымпотрива кэрора вэ вець лупта.”
And Joshua said to them, Fear not, neither be dismayed; be strong and courageous, for thus will Jehovah do to all your enemies against whom ye fight.
26 Дупэ ачея, Иосуа й-а ловит ши й-а оморыт; й-а спынзурат де чинч копачь ши ау рэмас спынзураць де копачь пынэ сяра.
And afterwards Joshua smote them, and put them to death, and hanged them on five trees; and they were hanging upon the trees until the evening.
27 Пе ла апусул соарелуй, Иосуа а порунчит сэ-й кобоаре дин копачь, й-ау арункат ын пештера ын каре се аскунсесерэ ши ау пус ла интраря пештерий ниште петре марь, каре ау рэмас аколо пынэ ын зиуа де азь.
And it came to pass at the time of the going down of the sun, that Joshua commanded, and they took them down off the trees, and cast them into the cave where they had been hid, and laid great stones before the cave's mouth, [which remain] to this very day.
28 Иосуа а луат Македа кяр ын зиуа ачея ши а трекут-о прин аскуцишул сабией; а нимичит ку десэвыршире пе ымпэрат, четатя ши пе тоць чей че се афлау ын еа; н-а лэсат сэ скапе ничунул ши ымпэратулуй дин Македа й-а фэкут кум фэкусе ымпэратулуй Иерихонулуй.
And Joshua took Makkedah on that day, and smote it with the edge of the sword, and the king thereof, him and all the souls that were therein he utterly destroyed; he let none remain; and he did to the king of Makkedah as he had done to the king of Jericho.
29 Иосуа, ши тот Исраелул ымпреунэ ку ел, а трекут дин Македа ла Либна ши а дат луптэ ымпотрива Либней.
And Joshua passed, and all Israel with him, from Makkedah to Libnah, and fought against Libnah.
30 Домнул а дат-о ши пе еа, ымпреунэ ку ымпэратул ей, ын мыниле луй Исраел ши а трекут-о прин аскуцишул сабией, пе еа ши пе тоць чей че се гэсяу ын еа; н-а лэсат сэ скапе ничунул ши а фэкут ымпэратулуй ей кум фэкусе ымпэратулуй Иерихонулуй.
And Jehovah gave it also and the king thereof into the hand of Israel; and he smote it with the edge of the sword, and all the souls that were therein; he let none remain in it: and he did to the king thereof as he had done to the king of Jericho.
31 Иосуа, ши тот Исраелул ымпреунэ ку ел, а трекут дин Либна ын Лакис, а тэбэрыт ынаинтя ей ши а ынчепут лупта ымпотрива ей.
And Joshua passed, and all Israel with him, from Libnah to Lachish, and encamped against it, and fought against it.
32 Домнул а дат четатя Лакис ын мыниле луй Исраел, каре а луат-о а доуа зи ши а трекут-о прин аскуцишул сабией, пе еа ши пе тоць чей че се афлау ын еа, кум фэкусе ку Либна.
And Jehovah gave Lachish into the hand of Israel; and they took it on the second day, and smote it with the edge of the sword, and all the souls that were therein, according to all that he had done to Libnah.
33 Атунч, Хорам, ымпэратул Гезерулуй, с-а суит ка сэ дя ажутор Лакисулуй. Иосуа л-а бэтут, пе ел ши пе попорул луй, фэрэ сэ ласе пе чинева сэ скапе.
Then Horam king of Gezer came up to help Lachish; and Joshua smote him and his people, until he had left him none remaining.
34 Иосуа, ши тот Исраелул ымпреунэ ку ел, а трекут дин Лакис ла Еглон; а тэбэрыт ынаинтя ей ши а ынчепут лупта.
And Joshua, and all Israel with him, passed from Lachish to Eglon; and they encamped against it, and fought against it.
35 А луат-о ын ачеяшь зи ши а трекут-о прин аскуцишул сабией, пе еа ши пе тоць чей че се афлау ын еа; Иосуа а нимичит-о ку десэвыршире кяр ын зиуа ачея, кум фэкусе ку Лакисул.
And they took it on that day, and smote it with the edge of the sword; and all the souls that were therein he utterly destroyed on that day, according to all that he had done to Lachish.
36 Иосуа, ши тот Исраелул ымпреунэ ку ел, с-а суит дин Еглон ла Хеброн ши а ынчепут лупта ымпотрива луй.
And Joshua went up, and all Israel with him, from Eglon to Hebron; and they fought against it.
37 Л-а луат ши л-а трекут прин аскуцишул сабией, пе ел, пе ымпэратул луй, тоате четэциле каре циняу де ел ши пе тоць чей че се афлау ын ел; Иосуа н-а лэсат пе ничунул сэ скапе, кум фэкусе ку Еглонул, ши л-а нимичит ку десэвыршире ымпреунэ ку тоць чей че се афлау ын ел.
And they took it, and smote it with the edge of the sword, and the king thereof, and all the cities thereof, and all the souls that were therein: he let none remain, according to all that he had done to Eglon; and he utterly destroyed it, and all the souls that were therein.
38 Иосуа, ши тот Исраелул ымпреунэ ку ел, с-а ындрептат ымпотрива Дебирулуй ши а ынчепут лупта ымпотрива луй.
And Joshua returned, and all Israel with him, to Debir; and fought against it.
39 Л-а луат пе ел, пе ымпэратул луй ши тоате четэциле каре циняу де ел; ле-а трекут прин аскуцишул сабией ши а нимичит ку десэвыршире пе тоць чей че се афлау ын еле, фэрэ сэ ласе сэ скапе вреунул; Иосуа а фэкут Дебирулуй ши ымпэратулуй луй кум фэкусе Хебронулуй ши кум фэкусе Либней ши ымпэратулуй ей.
And he took it, and the king thereof, and all the cities thereof, and they smote them with the edge of the sword, and utterly destroyed all the souls that were therein; he let none remain: as he had done to Hebron, and as he had done to Libnah, and to the king thereof, so he did to Debir and to the king thereof.
40 Иосуа а бэтут астфел тоатэ цара, мунтеле, партя де мязэзи, кымпия ши костишеле ши а бэтут пе тоць ымпэраций; н-а лэсат сэ скапе нимень ши а нимичит ку десэвыршире тот че авя суфларе, кум порунчисе Домнул Думнезеул луй Исраел.
And Joshua smote the whole country, the mountain, and the south, and the lowland, and the hill-slopes, and all their kings: he let none remain, but he utterly destroyed all that breathed, as Jehovah the God of Israel had commanded.
41 Иосуа й-а бэтут де ла Кадес-Барня пынэ ла Газа, а бэтут тоатэ цара Госен пынэ ла Габаон.
And Joshua smote them from Kadesh-barnea even to Gazah, and all the country of Goshen, even to Gibeon;
42 Иосуа а луат ын ачелашь тимп пе тоць ымпэраций ачея ши цара лор, кэч Домнул Думнезеул луй Исраел лупта пентру Исраел.
and all these kings and their land did Joshua take at one time; for Jehovah the God of Israel fought for Israel.
43 Ши Иосуа, ши тот Исраелул ымпреунэ ку ел, с-а ынторс ын табэрэ ла Гилгал.
And Joshua returned, and all Israel with him, to the camp, to Gilgal.
