Иоан 13
1 Ынаинте де Празникул Паштелор, Исус, ка Чел каре штия кэ Й-а сосит часул сэ плече дин лумя ачаста ла Татэл ши фииндкэ юбя пе ай Сэй, каре ерау ын луме, й-а юбит пынэ ла капэт.
It was the day before the Passover festival, and Jesus knew that the time had come to leave this world and go to his Father. He had loved those in the world who were his own, and he now demonstrated his complete and utter love for them.
2 Ын тимпул чиней, дупэ че дяволул пусесе ын инима луй Иуда Искариотянул, фиул луй Симон, гындул сэ-Л вындэ,
It was during supper, and the devil had already put the thought of betraying Jesus into the mind of Judas, son of Simon Iscariot.
3 Исус, фииндкэ штия кэ Татэл Ый дэдусе тоате лукруриле ын мынь, кэ де ла Думнезеу а венит ши ла Думнезеу Се дуче,
Jesus knew that the Father had placed everything under his authority, and that he had come from God and was going back to God.
4 С-а скулат де ла масэ, С-а дезбрэкат де хайнеле Луй, а луат ун штергар ши С-а ынчинс ку ел.
So Jesus stood up from eating supper, took off his robe and wrapped a towel around his waist.
5 Апой а турнат апэ ынтр-ун лигян ши а ынчепут сэ спеле пичоареле ученичилор ши сэ ле штяргэ ку штергарул ку каре ера ынчинс.
He poured water into a basin and began to wash his disciples' feet, drying them with the towel he had wrapped around him.
6 А венит деч ла Симон Петру. Ши Петру Й-а зис: „Доамне, Ту сэ-мь спель мие пичоареле?”
He came to Simon Peter, who asked him, “Lord, are you going to wash my feet?”
7 Дрепт рэспунс, Исус й-а зис: „Че фак Еу, ту ну причепь акум, дарвей причепе дупэ ачея.”
Jesus replied, “You won't realize what I'm doing for you now. But one day you'll understand.”
8 Петру Й-а зис: „Ничодатэ ну-мь вей спэла пичоареле!” Исус й-а рэспунс: „Дакэну те спэл Еу, ну вей авя парте делок ку Мине.” (aiōn g165)
“No!” Peter protested. “You'll never wash my feet!” Jesus replied, “If I don't wash you, you have no part with me.” (aiōn g165)
9 „Доамне”, Й-а зис Симон Петру, „ну нумай пичоареле, дар ши мыниле, ши капул!”
“Then, Lord, wash not just my feet but my hands and my head as well!” Simon Peter exclaimed.
10 Исус й-а зис: „Чине с-а скэлдат н-аре требуинцэ сэ-шь спеле декыт пичоареле, ка сэ фие курат де тот, ши войсунтець кураць, дар ну тоць.”
Jesus responded, “Those who have had a bath only need to wash their feet and then they're clean all over. You are clean—but not all of you.”
11 Кэч штия пе чел че авя сэ-Л вындэ, де ачея а зис: „Ну сунтець тоць кураць.”
For he knew who was going to betray him. That's why he said, “Not all of you are clean.”
12 Дупэ че ле-а спэлат пичоареле, Шь-а луат хайнеле, С-а ашезат ярэшь ла масэ ши ле-а зис: „Ынцелеӂець вой че в-ам фэкут Еу?
After Jesus had washed their feet, he put his robe back on, and sat down. “Do you understand what I've done to you?” he asked them.
13 ВойМэ нумиць Ынвэцэторул ши Домнул, ши бине зичець, кэч сунт.
“You call me ‘Teacher’ and ‘Lord,’ and rightly so, for that's who I am.
14 Деч, дакэ Еу, Домнул ши Ынвэцэторул востру, в-ам спэлат пичоареле, ши вой сунтецьдаторь сэ вэ спэлаць пичоареле уний алтора.
So if I, your Teacher and Lord, washed your feet, you ought to wash one another's feet.
15 Пентру кэ Еу в-амдат о пилдэ, ка ши вой сэ фачець кум ам фэкут Еу.
I have set you an example, so you should do just as I did.
16 Адевэрат, адевэрат вэ спун кэ робул ну есте май маре декыт домнул сэу, нич апостолул, май маре декыт чел че л-а тримис.
I tell you the truth, servants are not more important than their master, and the one sent is not greater than the sender.
17 Дакэштиць ачесте лукрурь, фериче де вой дакэ ле фачець.
Now that you understand these things, you will be blessed if you do them.
18 Ну ворбеск деспре вой тоць; куноск пе ачея пе каре й-ам алес. Дар требуе сэ се ымплиняскэ Скриптура, каре зиче: ‘Чел че мэнынкэ пыне ку Мине а ридикат кэлкыюл ымпотрива Мя.’
I'm not talking about all of you—I know those I have chosen. But this is to fulfill Scripture: ‘The one who shares my food has turned against me.’
19 Вэ спун лукрул ачеста де пе акум, ынаинте ка сэ се ынтымпле, пентру ка, атунч кынд се ва ынтымпла, сэ кредець кэ Еу сунт.
I'm telling you this now, before it happens, so when it does happen you will be convinced that I am who I am.
20 Адевэрат, адевэрат вэ спун кэ чине примеште пе ачела пе каре-л тримит Еу, пе Мине Мэ примеште; ши чине Мэ примеште пе Мине примеште пе Чел че М-а тримис пе Мине.”
I tell you the truth, whoever welcomes anyone I send welcomes me; and whoever welcomes me, welcomes the one who sent me.”
21 Дупэ че а спус ачесте кувинте, Исус С-а тулбурат ын духул Луй, а мэртурисит ши а зис: „Адевэрат, адевэрат вэ спун кэ унулдин вой Мэ ва винде.”
After he had said this, Jesus was deeply troubled, and declared: “I tell you the truth, one of you is going to betray me.”
22 Ученичий се уйтау уний ла алций ши ну ынцелеӂяу деспре чине ворбеште.
The disciples looked at each other, wondering which of them Jesus was talking about.
23 Унул дин ученичь, ачела пе каре-л юбя Исус, стэтя ла масэ кулкат пе сынул луй Исус.
The disciple whom Jesus loved was sitting next to Jesus at the table, leaning close him.
24 Симон Петру й-а фэкут семн сэ ынтребе чине есте ачела деспре каре ворбя Исус.
Simon Peter motioned to him to ask Jesus which one he was talking about.
25 Ши ученикул ачела с-а реземат пе пептул луй Исус ши Й-а зис: „Доамне, чине есте?”
So he leaned over to Jesus and asked, “Lord, who is it?”
26 Исус а рэспунс: „Ачела кэруя ый вой ынтинӂе букэцика ши й-о вой да.” Ши а ынтинс о букэцикэ ши а дат-о луй Иуда, фиул луй Симон, Искариотянул.
Jesus replied, “It's the one to whom I will give a piece of bread after I have dipped it.”
27 Кум а фост датэ букэцика, а интрат Сатана ын Иуда. Исус й-а зис: „Че ай сэ фачь, фэ репеде.”
After dipping the piece of bread, he gave it to Judas, son of Simon Iscariot. Once Judas had taken the bread, Satan entered him. “What you're going to do, do it quickly,” Jesus told him.
28 Дар нимень дин чей че шедяу ла масэ н-а ынцелес пентру че ый зисесе ачесте ворбе.
No one at the table understood what Jesus meant by this.
29 Уний кредяу кэ, де време че Иуда авя пунга, Исус воя сэ-й спунэ: „Кумпэрэ че не требуе пентру празник” сау ый порунчя сэ дя чева сэрачилор.
Since Judas was in charge of the money some of them thought that Jesus was telling him to go and buy what was needed for the Passover festival, or to donate something to the poor.
30 Иуда, дупэ че а луат букэцика, а ешит ын грабэ. Ера ноапте.
Judas left immediately after he'd taken the piece of bread, and went out into the night.
31 Дупэ че а ешит Иуда, Исус а зис: „Акум, Фиул омулуй а фост прослэвит ши Думнезеуа фост прослэвит ын Ел.
After he'd left, Jesus said, “Now the Son of man is glorified, and through him God is glorified.
32 ДакэДумнезеу а фост прослэвит ын Ел, ши Думнезеу Ыл ва прослэви ын Ел Ынсушь, ши-Л ва прослэви ындатэ.
If God is glorified through him, then God will glorify the Son himself, and will glorify him immediately.
33 Копилашилор, май сунт пуцин ку вой. Мэ вець кэута, ши, кум ам спус иудеилор кэ, унде Мэ дук Еу, ей ну пот вени, тот аша вэ спун ши воуэ акум.
My children, I will be with you only a little while longer. You will look for me, but I'm telling you now just as I told the Jews: you cannot come where I'm going.
34 Вэ дау о порункэноуэ: Сэ вэ юбиць уний пе алций; кум в-ам юбит Еу, аша сэ вэ юбиць ши вой уний пе алций.
I am giving you a new command: Love one another. Love one another in the same way I have loved you.
35 Прин ачаставор куноаште тоць кэ сунтець ученичий Мей, дакэ вець авя драгосте уний пентру алций.”
If you love one another you will prove to everyone that you are my disciples.”
36 „Доамне”, Й-а зис Симон Петру, „унде Те дучь?” Исус й-а рэспунс: „Ту ну поць вени акум дупэ Мине, унде Мэ дук Еу, дар майтырзиу вей вени.”
Simon Peter asked him, “Where are you going, Lord?” Jesus answered, “You can't follow me now where I'm going. You will follow me later.”
37 „Доамне”, Й-а зис Петру, „де че ну пот вени дупэ Тине акум? Еу ымь вой да вяца пентру Тине.”
“Lord, why can't I follow you now?” Peter asked. “I'll lay down my life for you.”
38 Исус й-а рэспунс: „Ыць вей да вяца пентру Мине? Адевэрат, адевэрат ыць спун кэ ну ва кынта кокошул, пынэ те вей лепэда де Мине де трей орь.
“Are you really ready to die for me? I tell you the truth: before the cock crows you will deny me three times,” Jesus replied.
