Йов 2
1 Фиий луй Думнезеу ау венит ынтр-о зи де с-ау ынфэцишат ынаинтя Домнулуй. Ши а венит ши Сатана ын мижлокул лор ши с-а ынфэцишат ынаинтя Домнулуй.
Again there was a day when the sons of God came to present themselves before Jehovah; and Satan came also among them to present himself before Jehovah.
2 Домнул а зис Сатаней: „Де унде вий?” Ши Сатана а рэспунс Домнулуй: „Де ла кутреераря пэмынтулуй ши де ла плимбаря пе каре ам фэкут-о пе ел.”
And Jehovah said to Satan, Whence comest thou? And Satan answered Jehovah, and said, From wandering over the earth, and walking up and down in it.
3 Домнул а зис Сатаней: „Ай вэзут пе робул Меу Йов? Ну есте нимень ка ел пе пэмынт. Есте ун ом фэрэ приханэ ши курат ла суфлет. Ел се теме де Думнезеу ши се абате де ла рэу. Ел се цине таре ын неприхэниря луй, ши ту Мэ ындемнь сэ-л перд фэрэ причинэ.”
Then said Jehovah to Satan, Hast thou observed my servant Job, that there is none like him upon the earth, an upright and good man, fearing God and departing from evil? And still he holdeth fast his integrity, although thou didst excite me against him to destroy him without a cause.
4 Ши Сатана а рэспунс Домнулуй: „Пеле пентру пеле! Омул дэ тот че аре пентру вяца луй.
And Satan answered Jehovah, and said, Skin for skin, yea, all that a man hath will he give for his life.
5 Дар я ынтинде-Ць мына ши атинӂе-Те де оаселе ши де карня луй, ши сунт ынкрединцат кэ Те ва блестема ын фацэ.”
But put forth now thy hand, and touch his bone and his flesh, and to thy face will he renounce thee.
6 Домнул а зис Сатаней: „Ятэ, ци-л дау пе мынэ: нумай круцэ-й вяца.”
And Jehovah said to Satan, Behold, he is in thy hand; but spare his life.
7 Ши Сатана а плекат динаинтя Домнулуй. Апой а ловит пе Йов ку о бубэ ря, дин талпа пичорулуй пынэ ын крештетул капулуй.
Then Satan went forth from the presence of Jehovah, and smote Job with sore boils from the sole of his foot to his crown.
8 Ши Йов а луат ун чоб сэ се скарпине ши а шезут пе ченушэ.
And he took a potsherd to scrape himself withal, and sat down among the ashes.
9 Невастэ-са й-а зис: „Ту рэмый неклинтит ын неприхэниря та! Блестемэ пе Думнезеу ши морь!”
Then said his wife to him, Dost thou still retain thine integrity? Renounce God, and die.
10 Дар Йов й-а рэспунс: „Ворбешть ка о фемее небунэ. Че, примим де ла Думнезеу бинеле ши сэ ну примим ши рэул?” Ын тоате ачестя, Йов н-а пэкэтуит делок ку бузеле луй.
But he said to her, Thou talkest like one of the foolish women. What! shall we receive good at the hand of God, and shall we not receive evil? In all this, Job sinned not with his lips.
11 Трей приетень ай луй Йов, Елифаз дин Теман, Билдад дин Шуах ши Цофар дин Наама, ау афлат де тоате ненорочириле каре-л ловисерэ. С-ау сфэтуит ши ау плекат де акасэ сэ се дукэ сэ-й плынгэ де милэ ши сэ-л мынгые.
Now three friends of Job heard of all this evil that had come upon him, and came each one from his home; Eliphaz the Temanite, and Bildad the Shuhite, and Zophar the Naamathite; for they had agreed to come to mourn with him, and to comfort him.
12 Ридикынду-шь окий де департе, ну л-ау май куноскут. Ши ау ридикат гласул ши ау плынс. Шь-ау сфышият манталеле ши ау арункат ку цэрынэ ын вэздух дясупра капетелор лор.
And they lifted up their eyes at a distance, and knew him not; then they raised their voices and wept, and rent each one his mantle, and sprinkled dust upon their heads toward heaven.
13 Ши ау шезут пе пэмынт, лынгэ ел, шапте зиле ши шапте нопць, фэрэ сэ-й спунэ о ворбэ, кэч ведяу кыт де маре ый есте дуреря.
And they sat down with him upon the ground seven days and seven nights, and none spake a word to him; for they saw that his grief was very great.
