Йов 15
1 Елифаз дин Теман а луат кувынтул ши а зис:
And Eliphaz the Temanite answered and said,
2 „Се каде сэ дя ынцелептул ка рэспунс ынцелепчуне дешартэ? Сау сэ-шь умфле пептул ку вынт де рэсэрит?
Should a wise man answer with windy knowledge, and fill his belly with the east wind,
3 Сэ се апере прин кувинте каре н-ажутэ ла нимик ши прин кувынтэрь каре ну служеск ла нимик?
Reasoning with unprofitable talk, and with speeches which do no good?
4 Ту нимичешть кяр ши фрика де Думнезеу, нимичешть орьче симцире де евлавие фацэ де Думнезеу.
Yea, thou makest piety of none effect, and restrainest meditation before God.
5 Нелеӂюиря та ыць кырмуеште гура ши ымпрумуць ворбиря оаменилор виклень.
For thy mouth uttereth thine iniquity, and thou hast chosen the tongue of the crafty.
6 Ну еу, чи гура та те осындеште, бузеле тале мэртурисеск ымпотрива та.
Thine own mouth condemneth thee, and not I; and thy lips testify against thee.
7 Ту ешть омул каре с-а нэскут ынтый? Те-ай нэскут ту ынаинтя дялурилор?
Art thou the first man that was born? and wast thou brought forth before the hills?
8 Ай фост ту ла сфатуриле луй Думнезеу ши ай сорбит дин еле ынцелепчуне пентру тине?
Hast thou listened in the secret council of God? And hast thou absorbed wisdom for thyself?
9 Че штий ту ши сэ ну штим ши ной? Че куноштинцэ ай ту пе каре сэ н-о авем ши ной?
What knowest thou that we know not? [what] understandest thou which is not in us?
10 Ынтре ной сунт перь албь, бэтрынь, оамень май ынзилиць декыт татэл тэу.
Both the greyheaded and the aged are with us, older than thy father.
11 Пуцин лукру сунт мынгыериле луй Думнезеу пентру тине ши кувинтеле каре-ць ворбеск атыт де блынд…?
Are the consolations of God too small for thee? and the word gently spoken to thee?
12 Ынкотро те траӂе инима ши че ынсямнэ ачастэ привире цинтэ а окилор тэй?
Why doth thy heart carry thee away? and why do thine eyes wink?
13 Че, ымпотрива луй Думнезеу ыць ындрепць ту мыния ши-ць ес дин гурэ кувинте ка ачестя?
That thou turnest thy spirit against God, and lettest words go out of thy mouth?
14 Че есте омул, ка сэ фие курат? Ши поате чел нэскут дин фемее сэ фие фэрэ приханэ?
What is man, that he should be pure? and he that is born of a woman, that he should be righteous?
15 Дакэ н-аре ынкредере Думнезеу нич ын сфинций Сэй, дакэ нич черуриле ну сунт курате ынаинтя Луй,
Behold, he putteth no trust in his holy ones, and the heavens are not pure in his sight:
16 ку кыт май пуцин фиинца урычоасэ ши стрикатэ – омул, каре бя нелеӂюиря ка апа!
How much less the abominable and corrupt, — man, that drinketh unrighteousness like water!
17 Вряу сэ те ынвэц, аскултэ-мэ! Вой историси че ам вэзут,
I will shew thee, listen to me; and what I have seen I will declare;
18 че ау арэтат ынцелепций, че ау дескоперит ей, аузинд де ла пэринций лор,
Which wise men have told from their fathers, and have not hidden;
19 кэрора сингурь ли се дэдусе цара ши принтре каре ничун стрэин ну венисе ынкэ.
Unto whom alone the earth was given, and no stranger passed among them.
20 Омул чел рэу ышь дуче ын нелиниште тоате зилеле веций, тоць аний де каре аре парте чел нелеӂюит.
All his days the wicked man is tormented, and numbered years are allotted to the violent.
21 Ципете де спаймэ рэсунэ ла урекиле луй: Ын мижлокул феричирий луй, пустииторул се ва арунка асупра луй.
The sound of terrors is in his ears: in prosperity the destroyer cometh upon him.
22 Ел ну траӂе нэдежде сэ скапе де ынтунерик, веде сабия каре-л аменинцэ;
He believeth not that he shall return out of darkness, and he is singled out for the sword.
23 аляргэ ынкоаче ши ынколо сэ кауте пыне, штие кэ-л аштяптэ зиуа ынтунерикулуй.
He wandereth abroad for bread, — where may it be? He knoweth that the day of darkness is ready at his hand.
24 Неказул ши нелиништя ыл ынспэймынтэ ши се арункэ асупра луй ка ун ымпэрат гата де луптэ.
Distress and anguish make him afraid; they prevail against him, as a king ready for the battle.
25 Кэч а ридикат мына ымпотрива луй Думнезеу, с-а ымпотривит Челуй Атотпутерник
For he hath stretched out his hand against God, and strengthened himself against the Almighty:
26 ши а авут ындрэзняла сэ се нэпустяскэ асупра Луй ку партя чя май таре а скутурилор луй.
He runneth against him, with [outstretched] neck, with the thick bosses of his bucklers;
27 Авя фаца акоперитэ ку грэсиме, коапселе ынкэркате ку осынзэ
For he hath covered his face with his fatness, and gathered fat upon [his] flanks.
28 ши локуя ын четэць нимичите, ын касе пэрэсите, сортите сэ фие дэрымате.
And he dwelleth in desolate cities, in houses that no man inhabiteth, which are destined to become heaps.
29 Ну се ва май ымбогэци, аверя ну-й ва креште ши авуция ну се ва май ынтинде пе пэмынт.
He shall not become rich, neither shall his substance continue, and their possessions shall not extend upon the earth.
30 Ну ва путя еши дин ынтунерик, флакэра ый ва арде млэдицеле, ши Думнезеу ыл ва перде ку суфларя гурий Луй.
He shall not depart out of darkness; the flame shall dry up his branches; and by the breath of his mouth shall he go away.
31 Дакэ се ынкреде ын рэу, се ыншалэ, кэч рэул ый ва фи рэсплата.
Let him not trust in vanity: he is deceived, for vanity shall be his recompense;
32 Еа ва вени ынаинте де капэтул зилелор луй, ши рамура луй ну ва май ынверзи.
It shall be complete before his day, and his branch shall not be green.
33 Ва фи ка о вицэ деспуятэ де роаделе ей ынкэ верзь, ка ун мэслин але кэруй флорь ау кэзут.
He shall shake off his unripe grapes as a vine, and shall cast his flower as an olive.
34 Кэч каса челуй нелеӂюит ва ажунӂе стярпэ ши кортул омулуй стрикат ыл ва мынка фокул.
For the family of the ungodly shall be barren, and fire shall consume the tents of bribery.
35 Ел зэмислеште рэул ши наште рэул; ын сынул луй коаче роаде каре-л ыншалэ.”
They conceive mischief, and bring forth iniquity, and their belly prepareth deceit.
