Йов 11

1 Цофар дин Наама а луат кувынтул ши а зис:

Then answered Zophar the Naamathite, and said,

2 „Сэ рэмынэ ачастэ нэвалэ де кувинте фэрэ рэспунс ши сэ крядэ лимбутул кэ аре дрептате?

Should not the multitude of words be answered? and should a man full of talk be justified?

3 Вор фаче ворбеле тале дешарте пе оамень сэ такэ? Ши-ць вей бате жок де алций, фэрэ сэ те факэ чинева де рушине?

Should thy boastings make men hold their peace? and when thou mockest, shall no man make thee ashamed?

4 Ту зичь: ‘Фелул меу де а ведя есте дрепт ши сунт курат ын окий Тэй.’

For thou sayest, My doctrine is pure, and I am clean in thine eyes.

5 Ах, де ар вря Думнезеу сэ ворбяскэ, де Шь-ар дескиде бузеле сэ-ць рэспундэ

But Oh that God would speak, and open his lips against thee;

6 ши де ць-ар дескопери тайнеле ынцелепчуний Луй, але ынцелепчуний Луй немэрӂините, ай ведя атунч кэ ну-ць рэсплэтеште тотушь дупэ фэрэделеӂя та!

And that he would shew thee the secrets of wisdom, that is manifold in effectual working! Know therefore that God exacteth of thee less than thine iniquity deserveth.

7 Поць спуне ту кэ поць пэтрунде адынчимиле луй Думнезеу, кэ поць ажунӂе ла куноштинца десэвыршитэ а Челуй Атотпутерник?

Canst thou by searching find out God? canst thou find out the Almighty unto perfection?

8 Кыт черуриле-й де ыналтэ: че поць фаче? Май адынкэ декыт Локуинца морцилор: че поць шти? (Sheol h7585)

It is high as heaven; what canst thou do? deeper than Sheol; what canst thou know? (Sheol h7585)

9 Ынтиндеря ей есте май лунгэ декыт пэмынтул ши май латэ декыт маря.

The measure thereof is longer than the earth, and broader than the sea.

10 Дакэ апукэ, дакэ ынкиде ши кямэ Ел ла жудекатэ, чине-Л поате опри?

If he pass through, and shut up, and call unto judgment, then who can hinder him?

11 Кэч Ел куноаште пе фэкэторий де реле, веде ушор пе виноваць.

For he knoweth vain men: he seeth iniquity also, even though he consider it not.

12 Омул, димпотривэ, аре минте де небун ши с-а нэскут ка мынзул унуй мэгар сэлбатик!

But vain man is void of understanding, yea, man is born as a wild ass’s colt.

13 Ту ындряптэ-ць инима спре Думнезеу, ынтинде-ць мыниле спре Ел.

If thou set thine heart aright, and stretch out thine hands toward him;

14 Депэртязэ-те де фэрэделеӂе ши ну лэса недрептатя сэ локуяскэ ын кортул тэу.

If iniquity be in thine hand, put it far away, and let not unrighteousness dwell in thy tents;

15 Ши атунч, ыць вей ридика фрунтя фэрэ тямэ, вей фи таре ши фэрэ фрикэ;

Surely then shalt thou lift up thy face without spot; yea, thou shalt be stedfast, and shalt not fear:

16 ыць вей уйта суферинцеле ши-ць вей адуче аминте де еле ка де ниште апе каре с-ау скурс.

For thou shalt forget thy misery; thou shalt remember it as waters that are passed away:

17 Зилеле тале вор стрэлучи май таре декыт соареле ла амязэ, ынтунерикул тэу ва фи ка лумина диминеций.

And [thy] life shall be clearer than the noonday; though there be darkness, it shall be as the morning.

18 Вей фи плин де ынкредере ши нэдеждя ну-ць ва фи задарникэ. Те вей уйта ын журул тэу ши вей ведя кэ те поць одихни лиништит.

And thou shalt be secure, because there is hope; yea, thou shalt search [about thee], and shalt take thy rest in safety.

19 Те вей кулка ши нимень ну те ва тулбура, ши мулць вор умбла дупэ бунэвоинца та.

Also thou shalt lie down, and none shall make thee afraid; yea, many shall make suit unto thee.

20 Дар окий челор рэй се вор топи; ей н-ау лок де скэпаре: моартя, ятэ нэдеждя лор!”

But the eyes of the wicked shall fail, and they shall have no way to flee, and their hope shall be the giving up of the ghost.
