Иеремия 10
1 Аскултаць Кувынтул пе каре ви-л ворбеште Домнул, каса луй Исраел!
Hear ye the word which the LORD speaketh to you, O house of Israel:
2 Аша ворбеште Домнул: „Ну вэ луаць дупэ фелул де вецуире ал нямурилор ши ну вэ темець де семнеле черулуй, пентру кэ нямуриле се тем де еле.
Thus saith the LORD, Learn not the way of the heathen, and be not dismayed at the signs of heaven; for the heathen are dismayed at them.
3 Кэч обичеюриле попоарелор сунт дешарте. Тае ун лемн дин пэдуре; мына мештерулуй ыл лукрязэ ку секуря;
For the customs of the people [are] vain: for [one] cutteth a tree out of the forest, the work of the hands of the workman, with the ax.
4 ыл ымподобеште ку арӂинт ши аур, ши ей ыл цинтуеск ку куе ши чокане, ка сэ ну се клатине.
They deck it with silver and with gold; they fasten it with nails and with hammers, that it may not move.
5 Думнезеий ачештя сунт ка о спериетоаре де пэсэрь ынтр-ун огор де кастравець ши ну ворбеск; сунт душь де алций, пентру кэ ну пот сэ мяргэ. Ну вэ темець де ей, кэч ну пот сэ факэ ничун рэу ши ну сунт ын старе сэ факэ ничун бине.”
They [are] upright as the palm tree, but speak not: they must needs be borne, because they cannot go. Be not afraid of them; for they cannot do evil, neither also [is it] in them to do good.
6 Ничунул ну есте ка Тине, Доамне! Маре ешть Ту ши маре есте Нумеле Тэу прин путеря Та.
Forasmuch as [there is] none like to thee, O LORD; thou [art] great, and thy name [is] great in might.
7 Чине сэ ну се тямэ де Тине, Ымпэрате ал нямурилор? Цие Ци се кувине тяма, кэч ынтре тоць ынцелепций нямурилор ши ын тоате ымпэрэцииле лор, ничунул ну есте ка Тине.
Who would not fear thee, O King of nations? for to thee doth it appertain: forasmuch as among all the wise [men] of the nations, and in all their kingdoms, [there is] none like to thee.
8 Тоць, лаолалтэ, сунт прошть ши фэрэ минте, штиинца идолилор ну есте декыт дешертэчуне, е лемн!
But they are altogether brutish and foolish: the stock [is] a doctrine of vanities.
9 Ей адук дин Тарсис фоице де арӂинт ши аур дин Уфаз; мештерул ши мына арӂинтарулуй ле пун ын лукру; хайнеле ачестор думнезей сунт де материй вопсите ын албастру ши ын пурпурэ, тоате сунт лукрате де мештерь искусиць.
Silver spread into plates is brought from Tarshish, and gold from Uphaz, the work of the workman, and of the hands of the founder: blue and purple [is] their clothing: they [are] all the work of skillful [men].
10 Дар Домнул есте Думнезеу ку адевэрат, есте ун Думнезеу виу ши ун Ымпэрат вешник. Пэмынтул тремурэ де мыния Луй ши нямуриле ну пот сэ суфере урӂия луй.
But the LORD [is] the true God, he [is] the living God, and an everlasting king: at his wrath the earth shall tremble, and the nations shall not be able to abide his indignation.
11 Аша сэ ле ворбиць: „Думнезеий каре н-ау фэкут нич черуриле, нич пэмынтул вор пери де пе пэмынт ши де суб черурь.”
Thus shall ye say to them, The gods that have not made the heavens and the earth, [even] they shall perish from the earth, and from under these heavens.
12 Дар Ел а фэкут пэмынтул прин путеря Луй, а ынтемеят лумя прин ынцелепчуня Луй, а ынтинс черуриле прин причеперя Луй.
He hath made the earth by his power, he hath established the world by his wisdom, and hath stretched out the heavens by his discretion.
13 Ла тунетул Луй, урлэ апеле ын черурь; Ел ридикэ норий де ла марӂиниле пэмынтулуй, дэ наштере фулӂерелор ши плоий ши скоате вынтул дин кэмэриле Луй.
When he uttereth his voice, [there is] a multitude of waters in the heavens, and he causeth the vapors to ascend from the ends of the earth; he maketh lightnings with rain, and bringeth forth the wind out of his treasures.
14 Атунч се аратэ омул кыт есте де прост ку штиинца луй ши орьче арӂинтар рэмыне де рушине ку кипул луй чоплит, кэч идолий луй ну сунт декыт минчунэ ши ну есте ничо суфларе ын ей;
Every man is brutish in [his] knowledge: every founder is confounded by the graven image: for his molten image [is] falsehood, and [there is] no breath in them.
15 сунт ун лукру де нимик, о лукраре ыншелэтоаре, ши вор пери кынд ва вени педяпса.
They [are] vanity, [and] the work of errors: in the time of their visitation they shall perish.
16 Дар Чел че есте партя луй Иаков ну есте ка ей, кэч Ел а ынтокмит тотул, ши Исраел есте семинция моштенирий Луй – Домнул оштирилор есте Нумеле Луй.
The portion of Jacob [is] not like them: for he [is] the former of all [things]; and Israel [is] the rod of his inheritance: The LORD of hosts [is] his name.
17 Я дин царэ легэтура ку че есте ал тэу, ту, каре ешть ын стрымтораре!
Gather up thy wares out of the land, O inhabitant of the fortress.
18 Кэч аша ворбеште Домнул: „Ятэ, де дата ачаста вой арунка департе пе локуиторий цэрий. Ый вой стрынӂе де апроапе, ка сэ симтэ.”
For thus saith the LORD; Behold, I will sling out the inhabitants of the land at this once, and will distress them that they may find [it so].
19 „Вай де мине! Сунт здробитэ! Мэ доаре рана! Дар еу зик: ‘О ненорочире а дат песте мине ши о вой суфери!’
Woe is me for my hurt! my wound is grievous: but I said, Truly this [is] a grief, and I must bear it.
20 Кортул ымь есте дэрымат, тоате фунииле ымь сунт рупте, фиий мей м-ау пэрэсит, ну май сунт; н-ам пе нимень каре сэ-мь ынтиндэ кортул дин ноу сау сэ-мь ридиче пынзеле!”
My tabernacle is laid waste, and all my cords are broken: my children are gone from me, and they [are] not: [there is] none to stretch forth my tent any more, and to set up my curtains.
21 Пэсторий с-ау простит, н-ау кэутат пе Домнул; пентру ачея н-ау пропэшит ши ли се рисипеск тоате турмеле.
For the pastors have become brutish, and have not sought the LORD: therefore they shall not prosper, and all their flocks shall be scattered.
22 Ятэ, се ауде ун вует! О маре зарвэ вине де ла мязэноапте сэ префакэ четэциле луй Иуда ынтр-ун пустиу, ынтр-о визуинэ де шакаль.
Behold, the sound of the noise is come, and a great commotion from the north country, to make the cities of Judah desolate, [and] a den of dragons.
23 Штиу, Доамне, кэ соарта омулуй ну есте ын путеря луй; нич ну стэ ын путеря омулуй кынд умблэ сэ-шь ындрепте паший спре цинтэ.
O LORD, I know that the way of man [is] not in himself: [it is] not in man that walketh to direct his steps.
24 Педепсеште-мэ, Доамне, дар ку мэсурэ, ши ну ын мыния Та, ка сэ ну мэ нимичешть!
O LORD, correct me, but with judgment; not in thy anger, lest thou bring me to nothing.
25 Варсэ-Ць урӂия песте нямуриле каре ну Те куноск ши песте попоареле каре ну кямэ Нумеле Тэу! Кэч мэнынкэ пе Иаков, ыл ынгит, ыл топеск ши-й пустиеск локуинца.
Pour out thy fury upon the heathen that know thee not, and upon the families that call not on thy name: for they have eaten up Jacob, and devoured him, and consumed him, and have made his habitation desolate.
