Иаков 4
1 Де унде вин луптеле ши чертуриле ынтре вой? Ну вин оаре дин пофтеле воастре, каре се луптэ ын мэдулареле воастре?
From whence are warres and contentions among you? are they not hence, euen of your pleasures, that fight in your members?
2 Вой пофтиць ши ну авець; учидець, пизмуиць ши ну избутиць сэ кэпэтаць; вэ чертаць ши вэ луптаць ши ну авець, пентру кэ ну черець.
Ye lust, and haue not: ye enuie, and desire immoderately, and cannot obtaine: ye fight and warre, and get nothing, because ye aske not.
3 Сау черець ши ну кэпэтаць, пентру кэ черець рэу, ку гынд сэ рисипиць ын плэчериле воастре.
Ye aske, and receiue not, because ye aske amisse, that ye might lay the same out on your pleasures.
4 Суфлете прякурваре! Ну штиць кэ приетения лумий есте врэжмэшие ку Думнезеу? Аша кэ чине вря сэ фие приетен ку лумя се фаче врэжмаш ку Думнезеу.
Ye adulterers and adulteresses, knowe ye not that the amitie of the world is the enimitie of God? Whosoeuer therefore will be a friend of the world, maketh himselfe the enemie of God.
5 Кредець кэ деӂяба ворбеште Скриптура? Духул, пе каре Л-а пус Думнезеу сэ локуяскэ ын ной, не вря ку ӂелозие пентру Сине.
Doe ye thinke that the Scripture sayeth in vaine, The spirit that dwelleth in vs, lusteth after enuie?
6 Дар, ын скимб, не дэ ун хар ши май маре. Де ачея зиче Скриптура: „Думнезеу стэ ымпотрива челор мындри, дар дэ хар челор смериць.”
But the Scripture offereth more grace, and therefore sayth, God resisteth the proude, and giueth grace to the humble.
7 Супунеци-вэ дар луй Думнезеу. Ымпотривици-вэ дяволулуй, ши ел ва фуӂи де ла вой.
Submit your selues to God: resist the deuill, and he will flee from you.
8 Апропияци-вэ де Думнезеу ши Ел Се ва апропия де вой. Курэцици-вэ мыниле, пэкэтошилор; курэцици-вэ инима, оамень ку инима ымпэрцитэ!
Drawe neere to God, and he will drawe neere to you. Clense your handes, ye sinners, and purge your hearts, ye double minded.
9 Симцици-вэ тикэлошия; тынгуици-вэ ши плынӂець! Рысул востру сэ се префакэ ын тынгуире, ши букурия воастрэ, ын ынтристаре:
Suffer afflictions, and sorrowe ye, and weepe: let your laughter be turned into mourning, and your ioy into heauinesse.
10 Смерици-вэ ынаинтя Домнулуй ши Ел вэ ва ынэлца.
Cast downe your selues before the Lord, and he will lift you vp.
11 Ну вэ ворбиць де рэу уний пе алций, фрацилор! Чине ворбеште де рэу пе ун фрате сау жудекэ пе фрателе сэу, ворбеште де рэу Леӂя сау жудекэ Леӂя. Ши, дакэ жудечь Леӂя, ну ешть ымплинитор ал Леӂий, чи жудекэтор.
Speake not euill one of another, brethren. He that speaketh euill of his brother, or he that condemneth his brother, speaketh euill of ye Law, and condemneth the Lawe: and if thou condemnest the Lawe, thou art not an obseruer of the Lawe, but a iudge.
12 Унул сингур есте дэтэторул ши жудекэторул Леӂий: Ачела каре аре путере сэ мынтуяскэ ши сэ пярдэ. Дар ту чине ешть де жудечь пе апроапеле тэу?
There is one Lawgiuer, which is able to saue, and to destroy. Who art thou that iudgest another man?
13 Аскултаць, акум, вой каре зичець: „Астэзь сау мыне не вом дуче ын кутаре четате, вом ста аколо ун ан, вом фаче негусторие ши вом кыштига”
Goe to now ye that say, To day or to morowe we will goe into such a citie, and continue there a yeere, and bye and sell, and get gaine,
14 ши ну штиць че ва адуче зиуа де мыне! Кэч че есте вяца воастрэ? Ну сунтець декыт ун абур, каре се аратэ пуцинтел ши апой пере.
(And yet ye cannot tell what shalbe to morowe. For what is your life? It is euen a vapour that appeareth for a litle time, and afterward vanisheth away)
15 Вой, димпотривэ, ар требуи сэ зичець: „Дакэ ва вря Домнул, вом трэи ши вом фаче кутаре сау кутаре лукру.”
For that ye ought to say, If the Lord will, and, if we liue, we will doe this or that.
16 Пе кынд акум вэ фэлиць ку лэудэрошииле воастре! Орьче лаудэ де фелул ачеста есте ря.
But now ye reioyce in your boastings: all such reioycing is euill.
17 Деч чине штие сэ факэ бине ши ну фаче, сэвыршеште ун пэкат!
Therefore, to him that knoweth how to doe well, and doeth it not, to him it is sinne.
