Исая 41
1 „Тэчець, остроаве, ши аскултаци-Мэ! Сэ-шь ынвиорезе попоареле путеря, сэ ынаинтезе ши сэ ворбяскэ! Сэ не апропием ши сэ не жудекэм ымпреунэ.
Keep silence before me, O islands; and let nations acquire new strength: let them approach, then let them speak, together let us come near to judgment.
2 Чине а ридикат де ла рэсэрит пе ачела пе каре, ын неприхэниря Луй, ыл кямэ сэ калче пе урмеле Луй? Чине ый супуне нямурь ши ымпэраць? Чине ле фаче сабия праф ши аркул, о плявэ луатэ де вынт?
Who waked up from the east the man whom righteousness met in his steps? he giveth up nations before him, and maketh him rule over kings; that his sword may render them as the dust, as driven stubble, his bow.
3 Ел ый урмэреште, мерӂе ын паче пе ун друм пе каре н-а май кэлкат ничодатэ ку пичорул луй.
He pursueth them, passeth along in safety, by a path which his feet have not gone over before.
4 Чине а фэкут ши а ымплинит ачесте лукрурь? Ачела каре а кемат нямуриле де ла ынчепут, Еу, Домнул, Чел динтый ши Ачелашь пынэ ын челе дин урмэ вякурь.
Who hath wrought and done it? he who called the generations from the beginning; I the Lord, [who am] the first, and with the latest I am the same.
5 Остроавеле вэд лукрул ачеста ши се тем, капетеле пэмынтулуй тремурэ: се апропие ши вин.
The isles saw it, and are afraid; the ends of the earth tremble; they draw near, and come.
6 Се ажутэ унул пе алтул ши фиекаре зиче фрателуй сэу: ‘Фий ку инимэ!’
They help one another; and each one saith to his brother, Be strong!
7 Лемнарул ымбэрбэтязэ пе арӂинтар; чел че луструеште ку чоканул ымбэрбэтязэ пе чел че бате пе никовалэ, зикынд деспре ымбинаре: ‘Есте бунэ’, ши цинтуеште идолул ын куе ка сэ ну се клатине.
So the smith encouraged the melter, he that smootheth with the hammer him that striketh on the anvil; saying of the solder, It is good; and he fastened it with nails, that it should not be moved.
8 Дар ту, Исраеле, робул Меу, Иакове, пе каре те-ам алес, сэмынца луй Авраам, приетенул Меу,
But thou, Israel, art my servant, Jacob whom I have chosen, the seed of Abraham my friend;
9 ту, пе каре те-ам луат де ла марӂиниле пэмынтулуй ши пе каре те-ам кемат динтр-о царэ депэртатэ, кэруя ць-ам зис: ‘Ту ешть робул Меу, те алег ши ну те лепэд’,
Thou, whom I have taken hold of from the ends of the earth, and called thee from the midst of its chiefs, and said unto thee, Thou art my servant, I have chosen thee, and not cast thee away.
10 ну те теме, кэч Еу сунт ку тине; ну те уйта ку ынгрижораре, кэч Еу сунт Думнезеул тэу; Еу те ынтэреск, тот Еу ыць вин ын ажутор. Еу те сприжин ку дряпта Мя бируитоаре.
Fear thou not, for I am with thee; be not dismayed, for I am thy God; I strengthen thee, yea, I help thee, yea, I uphold thee with the right hand of my righteousness.
11 Ятэ, ынфрунтаць ши акопериць де рушине вор фи тоць чей че сунт мынияць пе тине; вор фи нимичиць ши вор пери чей че ци се ымпотривеск.
Behold, ashamed and confounded shall be all that were incensed against thee; they shall be as naught and perish—the men that strive with thee.
12 Ый вей кэута, ши ну-й вей май гэси пе чей че се чертау ку тине; вор фи нимичиць, вор фи пердуць чей че се рэзбояу ку тине.
Thou wilt seek them, and shalt not find them, the men that contend with thee; they shall be as naught and as nothing, the men that make war against thee.
13 Кэч Еу сунт Домнул Думнезеул тэу, каре те яу де мына дряптэ ши-ць зик: ‘Ну те теме де нимик, Еу ыць вин ын ажутор!
For I the Lord thy God lay hold of thy right hand; [I am he] who saith unto thee, Fear not, I help thee.
14 Ну те теме де нимик, вермеле луй Иаков ши рэмэшицэ слабэ а луй Исраел, кэч Еу ыць вин ын ажутор’, зиче Домнул, ‘ши Сфынтул луй Исраел есте Мынтуиторул тэу.’
Fear not, thou worm Jacob, ye few men of Israel: I myself help thee, saith the Lord, and thy redeemer is the Holy One of Israel.
15 Ятэ, те фак о сание аскуцитэ, ноуэ де тот, ку мулць динць; вей здроби, вей сфэрыма мунций ши вей фаче дялуриле ка плява.
Behold, I have rendered thee a threshing instrument, sharp, new, having many teeth: thou shalt thresh mountains, and beat them small, and shalt render the hills as chaff.
16 Ле вей вынтура ши ле ва луа вынтул ши ун выртеж ле ва рисипи, дар ту те вей букура ын Домнул, те вей фэли ку Сфынтул луй Исраел.
Thou shalt scatter them, and the wind shall carry them away, and the storm shall disperse them; but thou shalt rejoice in the Lord, in the Holy One of Israel shalt thou glorify thyself.
17 Чей ненорочиць ши чей липсиць каутэ апэ ши ну есте; ли се усукэ лимба де сете. Еу, Домнул, ый вой аскулта; Еу, Думнезеул луй Исраел, ну-й вой пэрэси.
The poor and the needy seek water, and there is none; their tongue is dried up with thirst: I the Lord will answer them, I the God of Israel will not forsake them.
18 Вой фаче сэ извораскэ рыурь пе дялурь ши извоаре ын мижлокул вэилор; вой префаче пустиул ын яз ши пэмынтул ускат ын шувоае де апе;
I will open on naked mountain-peaks rivers, and in the midst of valleys fountains; I will change the wilderness into a pool of water, and the dry land into springs of water.
19 вой сэди чедри, салкымь, мирць ши мэслинь ын пустиу; вой пуне кипарошь, улмь ши меришорь турчешть ла ун лок ын пустиу,
I will place in the wilderness the cedar, the acacia, and the myrtle, and the oil-tree; I will set in the desert the fir-tree, the pine and the box-tree together;
20 ка сэ вадэ ку тоций ши сэ штие, сэ причяпэ ши сэ ынцелягэ кэ мына Домнулуй а фэкут ачесте лукрурь ши Сфынтул луй Исраел ле-а зидит.
In order that they may see, and know and take [it to heart], and comprehend together, that the hand of the Lord hath done this, and the Holy One of Israel hath created it.
21 Апэраци-вэ причина”, зиче Домнул, „арэтаци-вэ довезиле челе май тарь”, зиче Ымпэратул луй Иаков.
Produce your cause, saith the Lord: bring forward your strong reasons, saith the King of Jacob.
22 „Сэ ле арате ши сэ не спунэ че аре сэ се ынтымпле; каре сунт пророчииле пе каре ле-аць фэкут вреодатэ? Спунець, ка сэ луэм сяма ла еле ши сэ ле ведем ымплиниря, сау вестици-не вииторул.
Let them bring them forward and tell us what shall happen: the former things—what are they?—tell us, that we may take it to heart, and know the result of them; or let us hear the things that are to come.
23 Спунеци-не че се ва ынтымпла май тырзиу, ка сэ штим кэ сунтець думнезей, фачець мэкар чева бун сау рэу, ка сэ ведем ши сэ привим ку тоций.
Tell the events that are to happen hereafter, that we may know that ye are gods: yea, do good, or do evil, that we may be astonished, and see it together.
24 Ятэ кэ ну сунтець нимик ши лукраря воастрэ есте нимик; о скырбэ есте чине вэ алеӂе пе вой.
Behold, ye are less than nothing, and your work less than a breath: [he that is] an abomination [alone] chooseth you.
25 Ам скулат пе чинева де ла мязэноапте ши вине де ла рэсэрит; ел кямэ Нумеле Меу; трече песте воевозь ка пе норой ши-й калкэ ын пичоаре кум калкэ оларул лутул.
I have waked up one from the north, and he cometh; from the rising of the sun one who will call on my name: and he shall [over-]come princes as mortar, and as the potter treadeth down the clay.
26 Чине а вестит лукрул ачеста де ла ынчепут ка сэ-л штим, ши ку мулт ынаинте ка сэ зичем: ‘Аре дрептате’? Нимень ну л-а вестит, нимень ну л-а пророчит ши нимень н-а аузит кувинтеле воастре.
Who hath told it from the beginning, that we may know it? and aforetimes, that we may say, “it is right?” but indeed there is none that telleth, indeed there is none that letteth us hear, indeed there is none that heareth your words.
27 Еу, Чел динтый, ам зис Сионулуй: ‘Ятэ-й, ятэ-й!’ ши Иерусалимулуй: ‘Ыць тримит ун веститор де вешть буне!’
The first [was I to say] to Zion, Behold, there they are; and to Jerusalem will I give one that bringeth good tidings.
28 Кэч Мэ уйт, ши ну есте нимень, нимень ынтре ей каре сэ пророчаскэ ши каре сэ поатэ рэспунде, дакэ-л вой ынтреба.
And I ever look, and there is no man; and among these there is no counsellor, that they could answer a word.
29 Ятэ кэ тоць сунт нимик, лукрэриле лор сунт задарниче, идолий лор сунт о суфларе гоалэ!
Behold, they all are naught; their works are nothing: wind and vanity are their molten images.
