Исая 20

1 Ын анул кынд а венит Тартан ла Асдод, тримис де Саргон, ымпэратул Асирией, сэ батэ Асдодул ши л-а луат,

In the year when Sargon, king of Assyria, sent his army commander to attack the town of Ashdod and conquered it,

2 ын время ачея, Домнул а ворбит луй Исая, фиул луй Амоц ши й-а зис: „Ду-те, дезлягэ-ць сакул де пе коапсе ши скоате-ць ынкэлцэминтя дин пичоаре!” Ел а фэкут аша, а умблат гол ши дескулц.

at that time the Lord spoke through Isaiah, son of Amoz. He told him, “Take off the sackcloth clothes from your body and remove your sandals.” Isaiah did so and went around naked and barefoot.

3 Ши Домнул а зис: „Дупэ кум робул меу Исая умблэ гол ши дескулц трей ань де зиле, ка семн ши ынштиинцаре пентру Еӂипт ши пентру Етиопия,

Then the Lord said, “In the same way that my servant Isaiah has gone naked and barefoot for three years as a sign and a warning against Egypt and Ethiopia,

4 тот аша ши ымпэратул Асирией ва луа дин Еӂипт ши дин Етиопия приншь де рэзбой ши сургюниць, тинерь ши бэтрынь, гой ши дескулць ши ку спинаря дескоперитэ, спре рушиня Еӂиптулуй.

so shall the king of Assyria lead the Egyptian prisoners and the Ethiopian exiles, both young and old, naked and barefoot. Their buttocks will be bare, to Egypt's shame.

5 Атунч се вор ынгрози ши се вор рушина чей че ышь пусесерэ ынкредеря ын Етиопия ши се фэляу ку Еӂиптул.

They will be discouraged and humiliated because they had put their hope in Ethiopia and proudly trusted in Egypt.

6 Ши локуиторий де пе цэрмул ачеста вор зиче ын зиуа ачея: ‘Ятэ че а ажунс ынкредеря ноастрэ пе каре не бизуисерэм ка сэ фим ажутаць ши сэ фим избэвиць де ымпэратул Асирией! Кум вом скэпа акум?’”

At that time the people living in the coastal lands will say, ‘Look what has happened those we were depending on! We ran to them for help to save us from the king of Assyria. We don't stand a chance!’”
