Осея 8
1 Пуне трымбица ын гурэ! Врэжмашул вине ка ун вултур песте Каса Домнулуй! Кэч ау кэлкат легэмынтул Меу ши ау пэкэтуит ымпотрива Леӂий Меле.
Put the trumpet to thy mouth! Like an eagle cometh an enemy against the house of Jehovah, Because they have transgressed my covenant, And have rebelled against my law.
2 Атунч вор стрига кэтре Мине: ‘Думнезеуле, ной Те куноаштем, ной, Исраел!’
They shall say to me, My God, we know thee, we, thine Israel!
3 Исраел а лепэдат бинеле ку скырбэ; де ачея врэжмашул ыл ва урмэри.
Israel hath cast away what is good; The enemy shall pursue him.
4 Ау пус ымпэраць фэрэ порунка Мя ши кэпетений фэрэ штиря Мя; ау фэкут идоль дин арӂинтул ши аурул лор, де ачея вор фи нимичиць.
They have set up kings, but not by me; They have made princes, and I knew it not. Of their silver and their gold have they made themselves idols, That they may be brought to destruction.
5 Вицелул тэу есте о скырбэ, Самарио! Мыния Мя с-а апринс ымпотрива лор! Пынэ кынд ну вор вои ей сэ се цинэ кураць?
An abomination is thy calf, O Samaria! Mine anger is kindled against them; How long will it be ere they can attain to purity!
6 Идолул ачеста вине дин Исраел, ун лукрэтор л-а фэкут, ши ну есте Думнезеу. Де ачея, вицелул Самарией ва фи фэкут букэць!
For from Israel it came; The workman made it, and it is no God; Yea, into fragments shall the calf of Samaria be broken.
7 Фииндкэ ау семэнат вынт, вор сечера фуртунэ. Ну ле ва креште ун спик де грыу; че ва рэсэри ну ва да фэинэ ши, дакэ ар да, ар мынка-о стрэиний.
They have sown the wind, And they shall reap the whirlwind. They shall have no standing harvest; The ear shall yield no meal; If perchance it yield, strangers shall devour it.
8 Исраел есте нимичит! Акум ей ау ажунс принтре нямурь ка ун вас фэрэ прец.
Israel is swallowed up; Soon shall they become among the nations As a vessel which no one desireth.
9 Кэч с-ау дус ын Асирия, ка ун мэгар сэлбатик каре умблэ рэзлец. Ефраим а дат дарурь ка сэ айбэ приетень!
For they have gone up to Assyria, Like a solitary wild-ass; Ephraim hireth lovers;
10 Кяр дакэ ей дау дарурь нямурилор, тот ый вой апэса, ка сэ ынчетезе пентру пуцинэ време сэ май унгэ вреун ымпэрат ши домнь.
But though they hire among the nations, Soon will I gather the nations against them; Then shall they rest a little while from the burden of their king, and their princes!
11 Кэч Ефраим а зидит мулте алтаре ка сэ пэкэтуяскэ, ши алтареле ачестя л-ау фэкут сэ кадэ ын пэкат.
Ephraim hath built many altars for sin, Therefore shall he have altars for sin.
12 Кяр дакэ-й скриу тоате порунчиле Леӂий Меле, тотушь еле сунт привите ка чева стрэин.
Though I write for him many laws, They are accounted as a strange thing;
13 Ей ынжунгие вителе пе каре Ми ле адук ши карня ле-о мэнынкэ, де ачея Домнул ну ле примеште! Акум, Домнул Ышь адуче аминте де нелеӂюиря лор ши ле ва педепси пэкателе: се вор ынтоарче ын Еӂипт!
As to the sacrifices which they should offer me, they slay flesh and eat it; Jehovah hath no pleasure in them. Now will he remember their iniquity, And punish their sins; To Egypt shall they return.
14 Кэч Исраел а уйтат пе Чел че л-а фэкут, шь-а зидит палате ши Иуда а ынмулцит четэциле ынтэрите, де ачея вой тримите фок ын четэциле лор ши ле ва мистуи палателе.”
For Israel hath forgotten his Maker, and builded palaces, And Judah hath multiplied fenced cities; But I will send a fire upon his cities, And it shall devour his palaces.
