1 Дина, фата пе каре о нэскусе луй Иаков Лея, а ешит сэ вадэ пе фетеле цэрий.
Forsothe Dyna, the douytir of Lya, yede out to se the wymmen of that cuntrey.
2 Еа а фост зэритэ де Сихем, фиул хевитулуй Хамор, домниторул цэрий. Ел а пус мына пе еа, с-а кулкат ку еа ши а нечинстит-о.
And whanne Sichem, the sone of Emor Euey, the prince of that lond, hadde seyn hir, he louede hir, and rauyschide, and sclepte with hir, and oppresside the virgyn bi violence.
3 С-а липит ку тоатэ инима де Дина, фата луй Иаков, а юбит фата ши а кэутат с-о лиништяскэ.
And his soule was boundun faste with hir, and he pleside hir sory with flateringis.
4 Дупэ ачея Сихем а зис татэлуй сэу Хамор: „Я-мь де невастэ пе фата ачаста!”
And he yede to Emor,
5 Иаков а афлат кэ-й нечинстисе пе фийкэ-са Дина ши, фииндкэ фиий сэй ерау ку вителе ла пэшуне, Иаков а тэкут пынэ ла ынтоарчеря лор.
his fadir, and seide, Take to me this damysel a wijf. And whanne Jacob hadde herd this thing, while the sones weren absent, and ocupied in the fedyng of scheep, he was stille, til thei camen ayen.
6 Хамор, татэл луй Сихем, с-а дус ла Иаков ка сэ-й ворбяскэ.
Sotheli whanne Emor, the fadir of Sichem, was gon out, `that he schulde speke to Jacob, lo!
7 Дар, кынд с-ау ынторс фиий луй Иаков де ла пэшуне ши ау аузит лукрул ачеста, с-ау супэрат ши с-ау мыният фоарте таре, пентру кэ Сихем сэвыршисе о мишелие ын Исраел, кулкынду-се ку фата луй Иаков: аша чева н-ар фи требуит сэ се факэ ничодатэ.
hise sones camen fro the feeld. And whanne this thing that bifelde was herd, thei weren wroothe greetli; for he wrouyte a foul thing in Israel, and he hadde do a thing vnleueful in the defoulyng of the douyter of Jacob.
8 Хамор ле-а ворбит астфел: „Фиул меу Сихем с-а липит ку тоатэ инима де фата воастрэ. Вэ рог, даци-й-о де невастэ
And so Emor spak to hem, The soule of my sone Sichem cleuyde to youre douytir, yeue ye hir a wijf to hym,
9 ши ынкускрици-вэ ку ной; вой даци-не фетеле воастре ши луаць пентру вой пе але ноастре!
and ioyne we weddyngis to gidere; yyue ye youre douytris to vs,
10 Локуиць ку ной; цара вэ стэ ынаинте, рэмынець ын еа, фачець негоц ши кумпэраць пэмынтурь ын еа.”
and take ye oure douytris, and dwelle ye with vs; the lond is in youre power, tile ye, make ye marchaundise, and welde ye it.
11 Сихем а зис татэлуй ши фрацилор Диней: „Сэ капэт тречере ынаинтя воастрэ, ши вэ вой да че-мь вець чере.
But also Sichem seide to the fadir and britheren of hir, Fynde Y grace bifor you, and what euer thingis ye ordeynen Y schal yyue;
12 Череци-мь о зестре кыт де маре ши кыт де мулте дарурь, ши вой да тот че-мь вець зиче; нумай даци-мь фата де невастэ.”
encreesse ye the dower, and axe ye yiftis, Y schal yyue wilfull that that ye axen; oonli yyue ye this damysele a wijf to me.
13 Фиий луй Иаков ау рэспунс ши ау ворбит ку виклешуг луй Сихем ши татэлуй сэу Хамор, пентру кэ Сихем нечинстисе пе сора лор Дина.
The sones of Jacob answeriden in gile to Sichem and his fadir, and weren feerse for the defoulyng of maidenhod of the sistir,
14 Ей й-ау зис: „Есте ун лукру пе каре ну-л путем фаче, сэ дэм пе сора ноастрэ унуй ом нетэят ымпрежур, кэч ар фи о окарэ пентру ной.

15 Ну не вом ынвои ла аша чева декыт дакэ вэ фачець ши вой ка ной ши дакэ орьче парте бэрбэтяскэ динтре вой се ва тэя ымпрежур.
But in this we schulen mowe be boundun in pees, if ye wole be lijk vs, and ech of male kynde be circumcidid in you,
16 Атунч вэ вом да пе фетеле ноастре ши вом луа пентру ной пе але воастре; вом локуи ку вой ши вом фаче ымпреунэ ун сингур нород.
thanne we schulen yyue and take togidre oure douytris and youre; and we schulen dwelle with you, and we schulen be o puple.
17 Дар, дакэ ну воиць сэ не аскултаць ши сэ вэ тэяць ымпрежур, не вом луа фата ши вом плека.”
Forsothe if ye nylen be circumcidid, we schulen take oure douytir, and schulen go a wei.
18 Кувинтеле лор ау плэкут луй Хамор ши луй Сихем, фиул луй Хамор.
The profryng of hem pleside Emor and Sichem,
19 Тынэрул н-а преӂетат сэ факэ лукрул ачеста, кэч юбя пе фата луй Иаков ши ера чел май бине вэзут ын каса татэлуй сэу.
his sone, and the yong wexynge man dilaiede not, that ne he fillide anoon that that was axid, for he louede the damysele greetli, and he was noble in al `the hous of his fadir.
20 Хамор ши фиул луй Сихем с-ау дус ла поарта четэций ши ау ворбит астфел оаменилор дин четатя лор:
And thei entriden in to the yate of the citee, and spaken to the puple,
21 „Оамений ачештя ау гындурь де паче фацэ де ной; сэ рэмынэ дар ын царэ ши сэ факэ негоц; цара есте дестул де ларгэ пентру ей. Ной вом луа де невесте пе фетеле лор ши ле вом да де невесте пе фетеле ноастре.
These men ben pesible, and wolen dwelle with vs; make thei marchaundie in the loond, and tile thei it, which is large and brood, and hath nede to tileris; we schulen take her douytris to wyues, and we schulen yyue oure douytris to hem.
22 Дар оамений ачештя ну вор вои сэ локуяскэ ымпреунэ ку ной, ка сэ алкэтуим ун сингур попор, декыт дакэ орьче парте бэрбэтяскэ динтре ной се ва тэя ымпрежур, дупэ кум ши ей ыншишь сунт тэяць ымпрежур.
O thing is, for which so greet good is dilaied; if we circumciden oure malis, and suen the custom of the folc,
23 Турмеле лор, авериле лор ши тоате вителе лор вор фи атунч але ноастре. Сэ примим нумай че чер ей, ка сэ рэмынэ ла ной.”
bothe her substaunce, and scheep, and alle thingis which thei welden, schulen be oure; oneli assente we in this, that we dwelle to gidere, and make o puple.
24 Тоць чей че тречяу пе поарта четэций ау аскултат пе Хамор ши пе фиул сэу Сихем ши тоць бэрбаций ау фост тэяць ымпрежур, тоць чей че тречяу пе поарта четэций.
And alle men assentiden, and alle malis weren circumcidid.
25 А трея зи, пе кынд суферяу ей ынкэ, чей дой фий ай луй Иаков, Симеон ши Леви, фраций Диней, шь-ау луат фиекаре сабия, с-ау нэпустит асупра четэций каре се кредя ын линиште ши ау учис пе тоць бэрбаций.
And lo! in the thridde day, whanne the sorewe of woundis was moost greuous, twei sones of acob, Symeon and Leuy, britheren of Dyna, token swerdis, and entriden in to the citee booldeli; and whanne alle malis weren slayn,
26 Ау трекут, де асеменя, прин аскуцишул сабией пе Хамор ши пе фиул сэу Сихем; ау ридикат пе Дина дин каса луй Сихем ши ау ешит афарэ.
thei killiden Emor and Sichem togidere, and token Dyna, her sistir, fro the hous of Sichem.
27 Фиий луй Иаков с-ау арункат асупра челор морць ши ау жефуит четатя, пентру кэ нечинстисерэ пе сора лор.
And whanne thei weren goon out, othere sones of Jacob felden in on the slayn men, and rifeliden the citee for the veniaunce of defoulyng of a virgyn.
28 Ле-ау луат оиле, боий ши мэгарий, тот че ера ын четате ши че ера пе кымп;
And thei wastiden the scheep of tho men, and droues of oxun, and assis, and alle thingis that weren in howsis and feeldis,
29 ле-ау луат ка прадэ де рэзбой тоате богэцииле, копиий ши невестеле ши тот че се гэся ын касе.
and ledden prisoneris the litle children, and wyues of tho men.
30 Атунч, Иаков а зис луй Симеон ши луй Леви: „Вой м-аць ненорочит, фэкынду-мэ урыт локуиторилор цэрий, канааницилор ши ферезицилор. Н-ам суб порунка мя декыт ун мик нумэр де оамень; ей се вор стрынӂе ымпотрива мя, мэ вор бате ши вой фи нимичит, еу ши каса мя.”
And whanne these thingis weren don hardili, Jacob seide to Symeon and Leuy, Ye han troblid me, and han maad me hateful to Cananeis and Fereseis, dwellers of this lond; we ben fewe, thei schulen be gaderid to gidere and schulen sle me, and Y schal be don a wey and myn hous.
31 Ей ау рэспунс: „Се кувеня оаре сэ се поарте ку сора ноастрэ кум се поартэ ку о курвэ?”
Symeon and Leuy answeriden, Whether thei ouyten mysuse oure sistir as an hoore?
