Екзодул 16

1 Тоатэ адунаря копиилор луй Исраел а плекат дин Елим ши ау ажунс ын пустиул Син, каре есте ынтре Елим ши Синай, ын а чинчспрезечя зи а луний а доуа, дупэ еширя лор дин цара Еӂиптулуй.

Then moved they on from Elim, and all the assembly of the sons of Israel entered into the desert of Sin, which is between Elim and Sinai, on the fifteenth day of the second month, by their coming forth out of the land of Egypt.

2 Ши тоатэ адунаря копиилор луй Исраел а кыртит ын пустиул ачела ымпотрива луй Мойсе ши Аарон.

Then did all the assembly of the sons of Israel murmur against Moses and against Aaron in the desert;

3 Копиий луй Исраел ле-ау зис: „Кум де н-ам мурит ловиць де мына Домнулуй ын цара Еӂиптулуй, кынд шедям лынгэ оалеле ноастре ку карне, кынд мынкам пыне де не сэтурам? Кэч не-аць адус ын пустиул ачеста ка сэ фачець сэ моарэ де фоаме тоатэ мулцимя ачаста.”

and the sons of Israel said unto them—Oh that we had died by the hand of Yahweh, in the land of Egypt, when we remained by the pot of flesh, when we did eat bread to the full, —for ye have brought us forth into this desert, to cause all this multitude to die by famine.

4 Домнул а зис луй Мойсе: „Ятэ кэ вой фаче сэ вэ плоуэ пыне дин черурь. Попорул ва еши афарэ ши ва стрынӂе кыт ый требуе пентру фиекаре зи, ка сэ-л пун ла ынчеркаре ши сэ вэд дакэ ва умбла сау ну дупэ Леӂя Мя.

Then said Yahweh unto Moses, Behold me! raining down for you bread out of heaven, —and the people shall go out and gather the portion for a day, on its day, that I may prove them whether they will walk in my law, or not.

5 Ын зиуа а шася, кынд вор прегэти че ау адус акасэ, вор авя де доуэ орь май мулт декыт вор стрынӂе ын фиекаре зи.”

And it shall come to pass on the sixth day, that they shall settle what they shall bring in, —and it shall be twice as much as they gather day by day.

6 Мойсе ши Аарон ау зис тутурор копиилор луй Исраел: „Астэ-сярэ, вець ынцелеӂе кэ Домнул есте Ачела каре в-а скос дин цара Еӂиптулуй.

So Moses and Aaron said unto all the sons of Israel, —At eventide, then shall ye know that it was, Yahweh, who brought you forth, out of the land of Egypt;

7 Ши мыне диминяцэ, вець ведя слава Домнулуй, пентру кэ в-а аузит кыртириле ымпотрива Домнулуй; кэч че сунтем ной, ка сэ кыртиць ымпотрива ноастрэ?”

and, in the morning, then shall ye see the glory of Yahweh, in that he hath heard your murmurings against Yahweh, —what then are, we, that ye should murmur against, us?

8 Мойсе а зис: „Домнул вэ ва да астэ-сярэ карне де мынкат, ши мыне диминяцэ вэ ва да пыне сэ вэ сэтураць, пентру кэ а аузит Домнул кыртириле пе каре ле-аць ростит ымпотрива Луй; кэч че сунтем ной? Кыртириле воастре ну се ындряптэ ымпотрива ноастрэ, чи ымпотрива Домнулуй.”

And Moses said—In that Yahweh giveth you in the evening flesh to eat, and bread in the morning, to the full, in that Yahweh heareth your murmurings wherewith ye are murmuring against him, what then are, we? Not against us, do ye murmur but against Yahweh.

9 Мойсе а зис луй Аарон: „Спуне ынтреӂий адунэрь а копиилор луй Исраел: ‘Апропияци-вэ ынаинтя Домнулуй, кэч в-а аузит кыртириле.’”

And Moses said unto Aaron, Say unto all the assembly of the sons of Israel, Draw near, before Yahweh, —for he hath heard your murmurings.

10 Ши, пе кынд ворбя Аарон ынтреӂий адунэрь а луй Исраел, с-ау уйтат ынспре пустиу, ши ятэ кэ слава Домнулуй с-а арэтат ын нор.

And it came to pass, when Aaron spake unto all the assembly of the sons of Israel, then turned they towards the desert, —and lo! the glory of Yahweh, had appeared in the cloud,

11 Домнул, ворбинд луй Мойсе, а зис:

Then spake Yahweh unto Moses—saying,

12 „Ам аузит кыртириле копиилор луй Исраел. Спуне-ле: ‘Ынтре челе доуэ серь авець сэ мынкаць карне, ши диминяца вэ вець сэтура де пыне ши вець шти кэ Еу сунт Домнул Думнезеул востру.’”

I have heard the murmurings of the sons of Israel, —speak unto them, saying—Between the two evenings, shall ye eat flesh, and in the morning, shall ye be filled with bread, —so shall ye know that I Yahweh am your God.

13 Сяра ау венит ниште препелице ши ау акоперит табэра, ши диминяца с-а ашезат ун страт грос де роуэ ын журул таберей.

And it came to pass, in the evening, that there came up quail, and covered the camp, —and in the morning was the outpouring of dew, round about the camp;

14 Кынд с-а луат роуа ачаста, пе фаца пустиулуй ера чева мэрунт ка ниште грэунце, мэрунт ка бобицеле де гяцэ албэ пе пэмынт.

and when the outpouring of dew went up, then lo! on the face of the desert, a thin flake, thin as hoar-frost on the earth,

15 Копиий луй Исраел с-ау уйтат ла еа ши ау зис унул кэтре алтул: „Че есте ачаста?” кэч ну штияу че есте. Мойсе ле-а зис: „Есте пыня пе каре в-о дэ Домнул ка хранэ.”

And when the sons of Israel saw it they said one to another—What is that? For they knew not what "that" was. Then said Moses unto them, "That" is the bread which Yahweh hath given you to eat.

16 Ятэ че а порунчит Домнул: „Фиекаре динтре вой сэ стрынгэ кыт ый требуе пентру хранэ, ши ануме ун омер де кап, дупэ нумэрул суфлетелор воастре; фиекаре сэ я дин еа пентру чей дин кортул луй.”

This, is the thing which Yahweh hath commanded, Gather ye thereof, each man what he needeth for eating, —an omer a head, by the number of your souls, each man—for them who are in his tent, shall ye take.

17 Исраелиций ау фэкут аша ши ау стрынс уний май мулт, алций май пуцин.

And the sons of Israel did so, —and gathered, [some] more, and [some] less;

18 Ын урмэ о мэсурау ку омерул, ши чине стрынсесе май мулт н-авя нимик де присос, яр чине стрынсесе май пуцин ну дучя липсэ делок. Фиекаре стрынӂя токмай кыт ый требуя пентру хранэ.

and when they measured it with the omer, he who had gathered more had nothing over, and he who had gathered less had no lack: each man what he needed for eating, did they gather.

19 Мойсе ле-а зис: „Нимень сэ ну ласе чева дин еа пынэ а доуа зи диминяца.”

And Moses said unto them, —Let, no man leave thereof, until morning.

20 Н-ау аскултат де Мойсе ши с-ау гэсит уний каре ау лэсат чева дин еа пынэ диминяца, дар а фэкут вермь ши с-а ымпуцит. Мойсе с-а мыният пе оамений ачея.

But they hearkened not unto Moses, but certain men left thereof until morning, and it swarmed with worms and become loathsome, —and Moses was wroth with them.

21 Астфел, ын тоате диминециле, фиекаре стрынӂя кыт ый требуя пентру хранэ ши, кынд веня кэлдура соарелуй, се топя.

Thus then they gathered it morning by morning, each man what he needed for eating, and as soon as the sun waxed hot, so soon it melted.

22 Ын зиуа а шася, ау стрынс хранэ ындоит, ши ануме дой омерь де фиекаре. Тоць фрунташий адунэрий ау венит ши ау спус луй Мойсе лукрул ачеста.

And it came to pass on the sixth day, that they gathered food twice as much, two omers for each one, —so all the princes of the assembly came in, and told Moses.

23 Ши Мойсе ле-а зис: „Домнул а порунчит аша. Мыне есте зиуа де одихнэ, Сабатул ынкинат Домнулуй; коачець че авець де копт, фербець че авець де ферт ши пэстраць пынэ а доуа зи диминяца тот че ва рэмыне!”

And he said unto them—That is what Yahweh spake. The observance of a holy sabbath to Yahweh, is to-morrow, —what ye would bake, bake and what ye would boil, boil, and all that is left over, put by you to keep until the morning.

24 Ау лэсат-о пынэ а доуа зи диминяца, кум порунчисе Мойсе, ши ну с-а ымпуцит ши н-а фэкут вермь.

So they put it by until the morning, as Moses had commanded, —and it gave no unpleasant odour, neither was there a worm, therein.

25 Мойсе а зис: „Мынкаць-о азь, кэч есте зиуа Сабатулуй; азь ну вець гэси манэ пе кымп.

Then said Moses—Eat ye it to-day, for a sabbath, is to-day, unto Yahweh, —to-day, ye shall not find it in the field.

26 Вець стрынӂе тимп де шасе зиле, дар ын зиуа а шаптя, каре есте Сабатул, ну ва фи.”

Six days, shall ye gather it, —but on the seventh day, a sabbath, it shall not be therein.

27 Ын зиуа а шаптя, уний дин попор ау ешит сэ стрынгэ манэ, ши н-ау гэсит.

And it came to pass on the seventh day, that there went forth some of the people to gather, —but they found not.

28 Атунч, Домнул а зис луй Мойсе: „Пынэ кынд авець де гынд сэ ну пэзиць порунчиле ши леӂиле Меле?

Then said Yahweh unto Moses, —How long have ye refused to keep my commandments and my laws?

29 Ведець кэ Домнул в-а дат Сабатул; де ачея вэ дэ ын зиуа а шася хранэ пентру доуэ зиле. Фиекаре сэ рэмынэ ла локул луй ши, ын зиуа а шаптя, нимень сэ ну ясэ дин локул ын каре се гэсеште.”

See because Yahweh hath given you the sabbath, for this cause, is, he, giving you on the sixth day, food for two days, —abide ye every man in his place, let no man go forth from his dwelling, on the seventh day,

30 Ши попорул с-а одихнит ын зиуа а шаптя.

So the people rested on the seventh day.

31 Каса луй Исраел а нумит храна ачаста „манэ”. Еа семэна ку бобул де кориандру; ера албэ ши авя ун густ де туртэ ку мьере.

And the house of Israel called the name thereof Manna, —and the same, was like coriander seed white, and the taste thereof, like flat-cake with honey,

32 Мойсе а зис: „Ятэ че а порунчит Домнул: ‘Сэ се пэстрезе ун омер плин ку манэ пентру урмаший воштри, ка сэ вадэ ши ей пыня пе каре в-ам дат-о с-о мынкаць ын пустиу, дупэ че в-ам скос дин цара Еӂиптулуй.’”

And Moses said—This, is the thing which Yahweh hath commanded, Fill an omer therefrom as a thing to be preserved to your generations, —that they may see the bread wherewith I fed you in the desert, when I brought you forth out of the land of Egypt.

33 Ши Мойсе а зис луй Аарон: „Я ун вас, пуне ын ел ун омер плин ку манэ ши ашазэ-л ынаинтя Домнулуй, ка сэ фие пэстрат пентру урмаший воштри.”

So Moses said unto Aaron—Take a single basket, and put therein an omer-full of manna, —and set it down before Yahweh, as a thing to be preserved to your generations.

34 Дупэ порунка датэ де Домнул луй Мойсе, Аарон л-а пус ынаинтя кивотулуй мэртурией, ка сэ фие пэстрат.

As Yahweh gave command unto Moses, so did Aaron set it down before the testimony, as a thing to be preserved,

35 Копиий луй Исраел ау мынкат манэ патрузечь де ань, пынэ ла сосиря лор ынтр-о царэ локуитэ; ау мынкат манэ пынэ ла сосиря лор ла хотареле цэрий Канаанулуй.

And, the sons of Israel did eat the manna forty years, until they entered into the land wherein they were to dwell, —the manna, they did eat until they entered into the bounds of the land of Canaan.

36 Омерул есте а зечя парте динтр-о ефэ.

Now, an omer, is, the tenth of the ephah.
