1 Кынд дой оамень вор авя о чартэ ынтре ей ши се вор ынфэциша ынаинтя жудекэций ка сэ фие жудекаць, челуй невиноват сэ-й дя друмул, яр пе чел виноват сэ-л осындяскэ.

And if there should be a dispute between men, and they should come forward to judgment, and [the judges] judge, and justify the righteous, and condemn the wicked:

2 Дакэ чел виноват есте осындит сэ фие бэтут, жудекэторул сэ пунэ сэ-л ынтиндэ ла пэмынт ши сэ-й дя ын фаца луй ун нумэр де ловитурь потривит ку греутатя виней луй.

then it shall come to pass, if the unrighteous should be worthy of stripes, thou shalt lay him down before the judges, and they shall scourge him before them according to his iniquity.

3 Сэ ну пунэ сэ-й дя май мулт де патрузечь де ловитурь, ка ну кумва, дынду-й май мулте ловитурь декыт атыт, фрателе тэу сэ фие ынжосит ынаинтя та.

And they shall scourge him with forty stripes in number, they shall not inflict more; for if thou shouldest scourge him [with] more stripes beyond these stripes, thy brother will be disgraced before thee.

4 Сэ ну леӂь гура боулуй кынд треерэ грыул.

Thou shalt not muzzle the ox that treads out the corn.

5 Кынд фраций вор локуи ымпреунэ ши унул дин ей ва мури фэрэ сэ ласе копий, неваста мортулуй сэ ну се мэрите афарэ, ку ун стрэин, чи кумнатул ей сэ се дукэ ла еа, с-о я де невастэ ши сэ се ынсоаре ку еа ка кумнат.

And if brethren should live together, and one of them should die, and should not have seed, the wife of the deceased shall not marry out [of the family] to a man not related: her husband's brother shall go in to her, and shall take her to himself for a wife, and shall dwell with her.

6 Ынтыюл нэскут пе каре-л ва наште сэ моштеняскэ пе фрателе чел морт ши сэ-й поарте нумеле, пентру ка нумеле ачеста сэ ну фие штерс дин Исраел.

And it shall come to pass that the child which she shall bear, shall be named by the name of the deceased, and his name shall not be blotted out of Israel.

7 Дакэ омул ачеста ну вря сэ я пе кумнатэ-са, еа сэ се суе ла поарта четэций, ла бэтрынь, ши сэ спунэ: ‘Кумнатул меу ну вря сэ ридиче ын Исраел нумеле фрателуй сэу, ну вря сэ мэ я де невастэ дупэ дрептул де кумнат.’

And if the man should not be willing to take his brother's wife, then shall the woman go up to the gate to the elders, and she shall say, My husband's brother will not raise up the name of his brother in Israel, my husband's brother has refused.

8 Бэтрыний четэций сэ-л кеме ши сэ-й ворбяскэ. Дакэ ел стэруеште ши зиче: ‘Ну вряу с-о яу’,

And the elders of his city shall call him, and speak to him; and if he stand and say, I will not take her:

9 атунч кумнатэ-са сэ се апропие де ел ын фаца бэтрынилор, сэ-й скоатэ ынкэлцэминтя дин пичор ши сэ-л скуйпе ын фацэ. Ши луынд кувынтул, сэ зикэ: ‘Аша сэ се факэ омулуй каре ну воеште сэ ридиче каса фрателуй сэу.’

then his brother's wife shall come forward before the elders, and shall loose one shoe from off his foot, and shall spit in his face, and shall answer and say, Thus shall they do to the man who will not build his brother's house in Israel.

10 Ши каса луй се ва нуми ын Исраел ‘Каса челуй дескэлцат’.

And his name shall be called in Israel, The house of him that has had his shoe loosed.

11 Кынд дой оамень се вор черта унул ку алтул, ши неваста унуя се ва апропия сэ скоатэ пе бэрбатул сэу дин мына челуй че-л ловеште, дакэ ынтинде мына ши апукэ пе ачеста дин урмэ де пэрциле рушиноасе,

And if men should strive together, a man with his brother, and the wife of one of them should advance to rescue her husband out of the hand of him that smites him, and she should stretch forth her hand, and take hold of his private parts;

12 сэ-й тай мына; сэ н-ай ничо милэ де еа.

thou shalt cut off her hand; thine eye shall not spare her.

13 Сэ н-ай ын сакул тэу доуэ фелурь де греутэць, уна маре ши алта микэ.

Thou shalt not have in thy bag divers weights, a great and a small.

14 Сэ н-ай ын касэ доуэ фелурь де ефэ, уна маре ши алта микэ.

Thou shalt not have in thine house divers measures, a great and a small.

15 Чи сэ ай о греутате адевэратэ ши дряптэ, сэ ай о ефэ адевэратэ ши дряптэ, пентру ка сэ ай зиле мулте ын цара пе каре ць-о дэ Домнул Думнезеул тэу.

Thou shalt have a true and just weight, and a true and just measure, that thou mayest live long upon the land which the Lord thy God gives thee for an inheritance.

16 Кэч орьчине фаче ачесте лукрурь, орьчине сэвыршеште о недрептате, есте о урычуне ынаинтя Домнулуй Думнезеулуй тэу.

For every one that does this [is] an abomination to the Lord thy God, even every one that does injustice.

17 Аду-ць аминте че ць-а фэкут Амалек пе друм, ла еширя воастрэ дин Еӂипт:

Remember what things Amalec did to thee by the way, when thou wentest forth out of the land of Egypt:

18 кум те-а ынтылнит пе друм ши, фэрэ ничо тямэ де Думнезеу, с-а арункат асупра та пе динапой, асупра тутурор челор че се тырау ла коадэ, кынд ерай обосит ши слеит де путерь.

how he withstood thee in the way, and harassed thy rear, [even] those that were weary behind thee, and thou didst hunger and wast weary; and he did not fear God.

19 Кынд ыць ва да Домнул Думнезеул тэу одихнэ, дупэ че те ва избэви де тоць врэжмаший каре те ынконжоарэ, ын цара пе каре Домнул Думнезеул тэу ць-о дэ ка моштенире ши спре стэпынире, сэ штерӂь помениря луй Амалек де суб черурь – сэ ну уйць лукрул ачеста.

And it shall come to pass whenever the Lord thy God shall have given thee rest from all thine enemies round about thee, in the land which the Lord thy God gives thee to inherit, thou shalt blot out the name of Amalec from under heaven, and shalt not forget [to do it].
