1 Дакэ везь рэтэчинду-се боул сау оая фрателуй тэу, сэ ну о околешть, чи сэ о адучь ла фрателе тэу.

You shall not see your brother’s ox or his sheep go astray, and hide yourself from them: you shall in any case bring them again to your brother.

2 Дакэ фрателе тэу ну локуеште лынгэ тине ши ну-л куношть, сэ ей добитокул ла тине акасэ ши сэ рэмынэ ла тине пынэ че-л чере фрателе тэу, ши атунч сэ и-л дай.

And if your brother be not near to you, or if you know him not, then you shall bring it to your own house, and it shall be with you until your brother seek after it, and you shall restore it to him again.

3 Тот аша сэ фачь ши ку мэгарул луй, тот аша сэ фачь ши ку хайна луй ши тот аша сэ фачь ку орьче лукру пердут де ел ши гэсит де тине: сэ ну ле околешть.

In like manner shall you do with his ass; and so shall you do with his raiment; and with all lost thing of your brother’s, which he has lost, and you have found, shall you do likewise: you may not hide yourself.

4 Дакэ везь мэгарул фрателуй тэу сау боул луй кэзут пе друм, сэ ну-л околешть, чи сэ-л ажуць сэ-л ридиче.

You shall not see your brother’s ass or his ox fall down by the way, and hide yourself from them: you shall surely help him to lift them up again.

5 Фемея сэ ну поарте ымбрэкэминте бэрбэтяскэ, ши бэрбатул сэ ну се ымбраче ку хайне фемеешть, кэч орьчине фаче лукруриле ачестя есте о урычуне ынаинтя Домнулуй Думнезеулуй тэу.

The woman shall not wear that which pertains to a man, neither shall a man put on a woman’s garment: for all that do so are abomination to the LORD your God.

6 Дакэ ынтылнешть пе друм ун куйб де пасэре, ынтр-ун копак сау пе пэмынт, ку пуй сау оуэ ши мама лор шезынд песте пуй сау песте оуэ, сэ ну ей ши пе мамэ, ши пе пуий ей,

If a bird’s nest chance to be before you in the way in any tree, or on the ground, whether they be young ones, or eggs, and the dam sitting on the young, or on the eggs, you shall not take the dam with the young:

7 чи сэ дай друмул мамей ши сэ ну ей декыт пуий, ка сэ фий феричит ши сэ ай зиле мулте.

But you shall in any wise let the dam go, and take the young to you; that it may be well with you, and that you may prolong your days.

8 Кынд зидешть о касэ ноуэ, сэ-ць фачь ун пэлимар ымпрежурул акоперишулуй, ка сэ ну адучь винэ де сынӂе асупра касей тале, дакэ с-ар ынтымпла сэ кадэ чинева де пе еа.

When you build a new house, then you shall make a battlement for your roof, that you bring not blood on your house, if any man fall from there.

9 Сэ ну семень ын вия та доуэ фелурь де семинце, ка ну кумва сэ ынтинезь ши родул семинцей пе каре ай семэнат-о, ши родул вией.

You shall not sow your vineyard with divers seeds: lest the fruit of your seed which you have sown, and the fruit of your vineyard, be defiled.

10 Сэ ну арь ку ун боу ши ун мэгар ынжугаць ымпреунэ.

You shall not plow with an ox and an ass together.

11 Сэ ну порць о хайнэ цесутэ дин фелурите фире, дин лынэ ши ин уните ымпреунэ.

You shall not wear a garment of divers sorts, as of woolen and linen together.

12 Сэ фачь чукурь ла челе патру колцурь але хайней ку каре те вей ынвели.

You shall make you fringes on the four quarters of your clothing, with which you cover yourself.

13 Дакэ ун ом каре шь-а луат о невастэ ши с-а ымпреунат ку еа о урэште,

If any man take a wife, and go in to her, and hate her,

14 апой о ынвинуеште де лукрурь нелеӂюите ши-й скоате нуме рэу, зикынд: ‘Ам луат пе фемея ачаста, м-ам апропият де еа ши н-ам гэсит-о фечоарэ’,

And give occasions of speech against her, and bring up an evil name on her, and say, I took this woman, and when I came to her, I found her not a maid:

15 атунч татэл ши мама фетей сэ я семнеле фечорией ей ши сэ ле адукэ ынаинтя бэтрынилор четэций, ла поартэ.

Then shall the father of the damsel, and her mother, take and bring forth the tokens of the damsel’s virginity to the elders of the city in the gate:

16 Татэл фетей сэ спунэ бэтрынилор: ‘Ам дат пе фийкэ-мя де невастэ омулуй ачестуя, ши ел а ынчепут с-о ураскэ;

And the damsel’s father shall say to the elders, I gave my daughter to this man to wife, and he hates her;

17 акум о ынвинуеште де лукрурь нелеӂюите, зикынд: «Н-ам гэсит фечоарэ пе фийкэ-та.» Дар ятэ семнеле фечорией фетей меле.’ Ши сэ десфакэ хайна ей ынаинтя бэтрынилор четэций.

And, see, he has given occasions of speech against her, saying, I found not your daughter a maid; and yet these are the tokens of my daughter’s virginity. And they shall spread the cloth before the elders of the city.

18 Бэтрыний четэций сэ я атунч пе омул ачела ши сэ-л педепсяскэ

And the elders of that city shall take that man and chastise him;

19 ши, пентру кэ а скос нуме рэу уней фечоаре дин Исраел, сэ-л осындяскэ ла о глоабэ де о сутэ де сикли де арӂинт, пе каре сэ-й дя татэлуй фетей. Еа сэ рэмынэ неваста луй, ши ел ну ва путя с-о гоняскэ тоатэ вяца луй.

And they shall amerce him in an hundred shekels of silver, and give them to the father of the damsel, because he has brought up an evil name on a virgin of Israel: and she shall be his wife; he may not put her away all his days.

20 Дар дакэ фаптул есте адевэрат, дакэ фата ну с-а гэсит фечоарэ,

But if this thing be true, and the tokens of virginity be not found for the damsel:

21 сэ скоатэ пе фатэ ла уша касей татэлуй ей, сэ фие учисэ ку петре де оамений дин четате ши сэ моарэ, пентру кэ а сэвыршит о мишелие ын Исраел, курвинд ын каса татэлуй ей. Сэ курэцешть астфел рэул дин мижлокул тэу.

Then they shall bring out the damsel to the door of her father’s house, and the men of her city shall stone her with stones that she die: because she has worked folly in Israel, to play the whore in her father’s house: so shall you put evil away from among you.

22 Дакэ се ва гэси ун бэрбат кулкат ку о фемее мэритатэ, сэ моарэ амындой: ши бэрбатул каре с-а кулкат ку фемея, ши фемея. Сэ курэцешть астфел рэул дин мижлокул луй Исраел.

If a man be found lying with a woman married to an husband, then they shall both of them die, both the man that lay with the woman, and the woman: so shall you put away evil from Israel.

23 Дакэ о фатэ фечоарэ есте логодитэ ши о ынтылнеште ун ом ын четате ши се кулкэ ку еа,

If a damsel that is a virgin be betrothed to an husband, and a man find her in the city, and lie with her;

24 сэ-й адучець пе амындой ла поарта четэций, сэ-й учидець ку петре ши сэ моарэ амындой: фата пентру кэ н-а ципат ын четате ши омул пентру кэ а нечинстит пе неваста апроапелуй сэу. Сэ курэцешть астфел рэул дин мижлокул тэу.

Then you shall bring them both out to the gate of that city, and you shall stone them with stones that they die; the damsel, because she cried not, being in the city; and the man, because he has humbled his neighbor’s wife: so you shall put away evil from among you.

25 Дар дакэ омул ачела ынтылнеште ын кымп пе фата логодитэ, о апукэ ку сила ши се кулкэ ку еа, нумай омул каре с-а кулкат ку еа сэ фие педепсит ку моартя.

But if a man find a betrothed damsel in the field, and the man force her, and lie with her: then the man only that lay with her shall die.

26 Фетей сэ ну-й фачь нимик; еа ну есте виноватэ де о нелеӂюире вредникэ де педяпса ку моартя, кэч е ка ши ку ун ом каре се арункэ асупра апроапелуй луй ши-л омоарэ.

But to the damsel you shall do nothing; there is in the damsel no sin worthy of death: for as when a man rises against his neighbor, and slays him, even so is this matter:

27 Фата логодитэ пе каре а ынтылнит-о омул ачела пе кымп а путут сэ стриӂе фэрэ сэ фие чинева сэ-й сарэ ын ажутор.

For he found her in the field, and the betrothed damsel cried, and there was none to save her.

28 Дакэ ун ом ынтылнеште о фатэ фечоарэ нелогодитэ, о апукэ ку сила ши се кулкэ ку еа ши се ынтымплэ сэ фие приншь,

If a man find a damsel that is a virgin, which is not betrothed, and lay hold on her, and lie with her, and they be found;

29 омул каре с-а кулкат ку еа сэ дя татэлуй фетей чинчзечь де сикли де арӂинт ши, пентру кэ а нечинстит-о, с-о я де невастэ ши ну ва путя с-о гоняскэ тоатэ вяца луй.

Then the man that lay with her shall give to the damsel’s father fifty shekels of silver, and she shall be his wife; because he has humbled her, he may not put her away all his days.

30 Нимень сэ ну я пе неваста татэлуй сэу ши нич сэ ну ридиче ынвелитоаря татэлуй сэу.

A man shall not take his father’s wife, nor discover his father’s skirt.
