1 Не-ам ынторс ши ам плекат ын пустиу, пе друмул каре дуче ла Маря Рошие, кум ымь порунчисе Домнул, ши ам околит мултэ време мунтеле Сеир.
Then we turned, and took our journey into the wilderness by the way of the Red Sea, as the Lord had spoken unto me: and we traveled around mount Seir many days.
2 Домнул мь-а зис:
And the Lord said unto me, as followeth,
3 ‘Вэ ажунӂе де кынд околиць мунтеле ачеста. Ынтоарчеци-вэ спре мязэноапте.
Ye have traveled long enough around this mountain; turn yourselves northward.
4 Дэ урмэтоаря порункэ попорулуй: «Акум авець сэ тречець прин хотареле фрацилор воштри, копиий луй Есау, каре локуеск ын Сеир. Ей се вор теме де вой, дар сэ вэ пэзиць бине.
And the people command thou, saying, Ye are passing by the border of your brethren the children of Esau, who dwell in Seir; and they will be afraid of you; therefore take ye good heed unto yourselves;
5 Сэ ну вэ ынкэераць ку ей, кэч ну вэ вой да ын цара лор нич мэкар о палмэ де лок: мунтеле Сеир л-ам дат ын стэпынире луй Есау.
Do not contend with them; for I will not give unto you of their land, even so much as a foot's breadth; because unto Esau have I given mount Seir for an inheritance.
6 Сэ кумпэраць де ла ей, ку прец де арӂинт, храна пе каре о вець мынка ши сэ кумпэраць де ла ей, ку прец де арӂинт, кяр ши апа пе каре о вець бя.
Food shall ye buy of them for money, that ye may eat; and water also shall ye buy of them for money, that ye may drink.
7 Кэч Домнул Думнезеул тэу те-а бинекувынтат ын тот лукрул мынилор тале ши ць-а куноскут кэлэтория ын ачест маре пустиу. Ятэ, де патрузечь де ань де кынд Домнул Думнезеул тэу есте ку тине ши н-ай дус липсэ де нимик.»’
For the Lord thy God hath blessed thee in all the works of thy hand; he hath provided for thy wandering through this great wilderness: these forty years the Lord thy God hath been with thee; thou hast lacked nothing.
8 Ам трекут пе департе де фраций ноштри, копиий луй Есау, каре локуеск ын Сеир, ши пе департе де друмул каре дуче ын кымпие, департе де Елат ши де Ецион-Гебер; апой не-ам ынторс ши ам апукат спре пустиул Моабулуй.
And we passed away from our brethren the children of Esau, who dwell in Seir, from the way through the plain, from Elath, and from 'Ezyon-gaber. And we turned and passed the way of the wilderness of Moab.
9 Домнул мь-а зис: ‘Ну фаче рэзбой ку Моаб ши ну те апука ла луптэ ку ел, кэч ну-ць вой да нимик сэ стэпынешть ын цара луй. Арул л-ам дат ын стэпынире копиилор луй Лот.
And the Lord said unto me, Do not attack the Moabites, nor contend with them in battle; for I will not give thee from their land any inheritance, because unto the children of Lot have I given 'Ar for an inheritance.
10 (Май ынаинте, аич локуяу емимий: ун попор маре, мулт ла нумэр ши де статурэ ыналтэ, ка анакимий.
The Emim in times past dwelt therein, a people great, and numerous, and tall as the 'Anakim;
11 Ей тречяу дрепт рефаимиць, ка ши анакимий, дар моабиций ый нумяу емимь.
As Rephaim were also they accounted, equally with the 'Anakim; and the Moabites called the[[m]] Emim.
12 Сеир ера локуит алтэдатэ де хориць; копиий луй Есау й-ау изгонит, й-ау нимичит динаинтя лор ши с-ау ашезат ын локул лор, кум а фэкут Исраел ын цара пе каре о стэпынеште ши пе каре й-а дат-о Домнул.)
And in Seir dwelt the Chorim in times past; but the children of Esau drove them out, and they destroyed them from before them, and dwelt in their stead; as Israel hath done unto the land of his inheritance, which the Lord hath given unto them.
13 Акум скулаци-вэ ши тречець пырыул Зеред.’ Ам трекут пырыул Зеред.
Now rise up, and get you over the brook Zered; and we passed over the brook Zered.
14 Время кыт ау цинут кэлэторииле ноастре де ла Кадес-Барня пынэ ла тречеря пырыулуй Зеред а фост де трейзечь ши опт де ань, пынэ а перит дин мижлокул таберей тот нямул оаменилор де рэзбой, кум ле журасе Домнул.
And the time which we came from Kadesh-barnea', until we had passed over the brook Zered, was thirty and eight years; until all the generation of the men of war were spent from out the midst of the camp, as the Lord had sworn unto them.
15 Мына Домнулуй а фост ымпотрива лор, ка сэ-й нимичяскэ дин мижлокул таберей, пынэ че ау перит.
And also the hand of the Lord was against them, to destroy them from the midst of the camp; until they were spent.
16 Дупэ че ау перит тоць бэрбаций де рэзбой, муринд ын мижлокул попорулуй,
So it came to pass, when all the men of war were spent by, dying from the midst of the people,
17 Домнул мь-а ворбит ши а зис:
That the Lord spoke unto me, saying,
18 ‘Сэ тречь азь хотарул Моабулуй, ла четатя Ар,
Thou art passing this day by the border of Moab, by 'Ar,
19 ши сэ те апропий де копиий луй Амон. Сэ ну фачь рэзбой ку ей ши сэ ну те ей ла луптэ ку ей, кэч ну-ць вой да нимик де стэпынит ын цара копиилор луй Амон: ам дат-о ын стэпынире копиилор луй Лот.’
And thou comest nigh opposite the children of 'Ammon: do not attack them, nor contend with them; for I will not give unto thee of the land of the children of 'Ammon any inheritance; because unto the children of Lot have I given it for an inheritance.
20 Цара ачаста тречя, де асеменя, ка о царэ а луй Рефаим; май ынаинте, локуяу ын еа рефаимиций, ши амониций ый нумяу замзумимь:
As the land of Rephaim was it also accounted: Rephaim dwelt therein in times past; and the 'Ammonites called them Zamzummim;
21 ун попор маре, мулт ла нумэр ши де статурэ ыналтэ, ка анакимий. Домнул й-а нимичит динаинтя амоницилор, каре й-ау изгонит ши с-ау ашезат ын локул лор.
A people great, and numerous, and tall, as the 'Anakim; but the Lord destroyed them before them; and they drove them out, and dwelt in their stead:
22 (Аша а фэкут Домнул ши пентру копиий луй Есау, каре локуеск ын Сеир, кынд а нимичит пе хориць динаинтя лор; ей й-ау изгонит ши с-ау ашезат ын локул лор, пынэ ын зиуа де азь.
As he hath done to the children of Esau, who dwell in Seir, from before whom he destroyed the Chorim; and they drove them out and dwelt in their stead, even unto this day.
23 Де асеменя, авиций, каре локуяу ын сате пынэ ла Газа, ау фост нимичиць де кафториць, ешиць дин Кафтор, каре с-ау ашезат ын локул лор.)
And the 'Avvim, who dwelt in open towns, as far as unto Gazzah, —the Caphtorim, who came forth out of Caphtor, destroyed them, and dwelt in their stead.
24 ‘Скулаци-вэ, плекаць ши тречець пырыул Арнон. Ятэ, ыць дау ын мынь пе Сихон, ымпэратул Хесбонулуй, Аморитул, ши цара луй. Ынчепе кучериря, фэ рэзбой ку ел!
Rise ye up, set forward, and pass over the brook Arnon; behold I have given into thy hand Sichon the king of Cheshbon, the Emorite, and his land: begin to drive him out, and contend with him in battle.
25 Де азь ынколо, вой бэга гроаза ши фрика де тине ын тоате попоареле де суб чер; ши, ла аузул файмей тале, вор тремура ши се вор ынгрози де тине.’
This day will I begin to put the dread of thee and the fear of thee upon the nations that are under the whole heaven; whoever will hear the report of thee, shall tremble, and shall quake because of thee.
26 Дин пустиул Кедемот, ам тримис соль ла Сихон, ымпэратул Хесбонулуй, ку ворбе де паче. Ам тримис сэ-й спунэ:
And I sent messengers out of the wilderness of Kedemoth unto Sichon, the king of Cheshbon, with words of peace, saying,
27 ‘Ласэ-мэ сэ трек прин цара та; вой цине друмул маре, фэрэ сэ мэ абат нич ла дряпта, нич ла стынга.
Let me pass through thy land: always by the highway will I go along; I will not turn unto the right hand or unto the left.
28 Сэ-мь винзь пе прец де арӂинт храна пе каре о вой мынка ши сэ-мь дай ку прец де арӂинт апа пе каре о вой бя; ну вой фаче алтчева декыт сэ трек ку пичорул,
Food shalt thou sell me for money, that I may eat; and water for money shalt thou give me, that I may drink: only let me pass through on foot;
29 лукру пе каре ми л-ау ынгэдуит копиий луй Есау каре локуеск ын Сеир ши моабиций каре локуеск ын Ар – ынгэдуе-мь ши ту лукрул ачеста, пынэ вой трече Йорданул, ка сэ интру ын цара пе каре не-о дэ Домнул Думнезеул ностру.’
(As the children of Esau who dwell in Seir, and the Moabites who dwell in 'Ar, have done unto me: ) until that I shall pass over the Jordan into the land which the Lord our God giveth us.
30 Дар Сихон, ымпэратул Хесбонулуй, н-а врут сэ не ласе сэ тречем пе ла ел, кэч Домнул Думнезеул тэу й-а фэкут духул неындуплекат ши й-а ымпетрит инима, ка сэ-л дя ын мыниле тале, кум везь азь.
But Sichon, the king of Cheshbon, would not suffer our passing by him; for the Lord thy God had hardened his spirit, and had made obstinate his heart, that he might deliver him into thy hand, as [hath happened] this day.
31 Домнул мь-а зис: ‘Везь, акум ынчеп сэ-ць дау пе Сихон ши цара луй; ынчепе ши ту дар сэ-й ей ын стэпынире цара ка с-о моштенешть.’
And the Lord said unto me, Behold, I have begun to give up Sichon and his land before thee: begin to drive him out, that thou mayest inherit his land.
32 Сихон не-а ешит ынаинте ку тот попорул луй, ка сэ лупте ымпотрива ноастрэ, ла Иахац.
And Sichon came out against us, he and all his people, to the battle at Yahaz.
33 Домнул Думнезеул ностру ни л-а дат ын мынь ши л-ам бэтут, пе ел ши пе фиий луй ши пе тот попорул луй.
And the Lord our God gave him up before us; and we smote him, and his sons, and all his people.
34 Й-ам луат атунч тоате четэциле ши ле-ам нимичит ку десэвыршире: бэрбаць, фемей ши прунчь й-ам нимичит ку десэвыршире ши н-ам лэсат сэ скапе ничунул мэкар.
And we conquered all his cities at that time, and devoted every inhabited city, and the women, and the little ones; we left none that escaped.
35 Нумай вителе ле-ам рэпит пентру ной, прекум ши прада дин четэциле пе каре ле луасерэм.
Only the cattle we took as booty unto ourselves, and the spoil of the cities which we had captured.
36 Де ла Ароер, каре есте пе малуриле пырыулуй Арнон, ши де ла четатя каре есте ын вале пынэ ла Галаад, н-а фост ничо четате пря таре пентру ной: Домнул Думнезеул ностру ни ле-а дат пе тоате ын мынэ.
From 'Aro'er, which is by the bank of the brook of Arnon, and the city that is in the brook, even unto Gil'ad, there was not one city which was too strong for us; the whole did the Lord our God give up before us.
37 Дар де цара копиилор луй Амон ну те-ай апропият, де тоате малуриле пырыулуй Иабок, де четэциле де ла мунте ши де тоате локуриле пе каре те-а оприт Домнул Думнезеул тэу сэ ле ловешть.
Only unto the land of the children of 'Ammon didst thou not come nigh, unto the whole margin of the brook Yabbok, and the cities in the mountain, and unto whatsoever the Lord our God had forbidden us.
