1 Ын анул динтый ал луй Белшацар, ымпэратул Бабилонулуй, Даниел а висат ун вис ши а авут ведений ын минтя луй пе кынд ера ын пат. Ын урмэ а скрис висул ши а историсит лукруриле де кэпетение.
In the first year of Belshazzar, king of Babylon, Daniel saw a dream and a vision in his head on his bed. And, writing down the dream, he understood it in a concise manner, and so, summarizing it tersely, he said:
2 Даниел а ынчепут ши а зис: „Ын ведения мя де ноапте, ам вэзут кум челе патру вынтурь але черурилор ау избукнит пе Маря чя Маре.
I saw in my vision at night, and behold, the four winds of the heavens fought upon the great sea.
3 Ши патру фяре марь ау ешит дин маре, деосебите уна де алта.
And four great beasts, different from one another, ascended from the sea.
4 Чя динтый семэна ку ун леу ши авя арипь де вултур. М-ам уйтат ла еа пынэ ын клипа кынд и с-ау смулс арипиле ши, скулынду-се де пе пэмынт, а стат дрепт ын пичоаре ка ун ом ши и с-а дат о инимэ де ом.
The first was like a lioness and had the wings of an eagle. I watched as its wings were plucked off, and it was raised from the earth and stood on its feet like a man, and the heart of a man was given to it.
5 Ши ятэ кэ о а доуа фярэ ера ка ун урс ши стэтя ынтр-о рынэ; авя трей коасте ын гурэ, ынтре динць, ши и с-а зис: ‘Скоалэ-те ши мэнынкэ мултэ карне!’
And behold, another beast, like a bear, stood to one side, and there were three rows in its mouth and in its teeth, and they spoke to it in this way: “Arise, devour much flesh.”
6 Дупэ ачея м-ам уйтат май департе ши ятэ о алта ка ун пардос, каре авя пе спате патру арипь ка о пасэре; фяра ачаста авя ши патру капете ши и с-а дат стэпынире.
After this, I watched, and behold, another like a leopard, and it had wings like a bird, four upon it, and four heads were on the beast, and power was given to it.
7 Дупэ ачея м-ам уйтат ын веденииле меле де ноапте ши ятэ кэ ера о а патра фярэ, неспус де грозав де ынспэймынтэтоаре ши де путерникэ; авя ниште динць марь де фер, мынка, сфэрыма ши кэлка ын пичоаре че май рэмыня; ера ку тотул деосебитэ де тоате фяреле де май ынаинте ши авя зече коарне.
After this, I watched in the vision of the night, and behold, a fourth beast, terrible yet wondrous, and exceedingly strong; it had great iron teeth, eating yet crushing, and trampling down the remainder with his feet, but it was unlike the other beasts, which I had seen before it, and it had ten horns.
8 М-ам уйтат ку бэгаре де сямэ ла коарне ши ятэ кэ ун алт корн мик а ешит дин мижлокул лор ши, динаинтя ачестуй корн, ау фост смулсе трей дин челе динтый коарне. Ши корнул ачеста авя ниште окь ка окий де ом ши о гурэ каре ворбя ку труфие.
I considered the horns, and behold, another little horn rose out of the midst of them. And three of the first horns were rooted out by its presence. And behold, eyes like the eyes of a man were in this horn, and a mouth speaking unnatural things.
9 Мэ уйтам ла ачесте лукрурь пынэ кынд с-ау ашезат ниште скауне де домние. Ши ун Ымбэтрынит де зиле а шезут жос. Хайна Луй ера албэ ка зэпада ши пэрул капулуй Луй ера ка ниште лынэ куратэ; скаунул Луй де домние ера ка ниште флэкэрь де фок ши роциле луй, ка ун фок апринс.
I watched until thrones were set up, and the Ancient of days sat down. His garment was radiant like snow, and the hair of his head like clean wool; his throne was flames of fire, its wheels had been set on fire.
10 Ун рыу де фок курӂя ши ешя динаинтя Луй. Мий де мий де служиторь Ый служяу ши де зече мий де орь зече мий стэтяу ынаинтя Луй. С-а цинут жудеката ши с-ау дескис кэрциле.
A river of fire rushed forth from his presence. Thousands upon thousands ministered to him, and ten thousand times hundreds of thousands attended before him. The trial began, and the books were opened.
11 Еу мэ уйтам мереу дин причина кувинтелор плине де труфие пе каре ле ростя корнул ачела: м-ам уйтат пынэ кынд фяра а фост учисэ ши трупул ей а фост нимичит ши арункат ын фок, ка сэ фие арс.
I watched because of the voice of the great words which that horn was speaking, and I saw that the beast had been destroyed, and its body was ruined and had been handed over to be burnt with fire.
12 Ши челелалте фяре ау фост дезбрэкате де путеря лор, дар ли с-а ынгэдуит о лунӂире а веций пынэ ла о време ши ун час анумит.
Likewise, the power of the other beasts was taken away, and a limited time of life was appointed to them, until one time and another.
13 М-ам уйтат ын тимпул ведениилор меле де ноапте ши ятэ кэ пе норий черурилор а венит унул ка ун фиу ал омулуй; а ынаинтат спре Чел Ымбэтрынит де зиле ши а фост адус ынаинтя Луй.
I watched, therefore, in the vision of the night, and behold, with the clouds of heaven, one like a son of man arrived, and he approached all the way to the Ancient of days, and they presented him before him.
14 И с-а дат стэпынире, славэ ши путере ымпэрэтяскэ, пентру ка сэ-Й служяскэ тоате попоареле, нямуриле ши оамений де тоате лимбиле. Стэпыниря Луй есте о стэпынире вешникэ ши ну ва трече ничдекум ши Ымпэрэция Луй ну ва фи нимичитэ ничодатэ.
And he gave him power, and honor, and the kingdom, and all peoples, tribes, and languages will serve him. His power is an eternal power, which will not be taken away, and his kingdom, one which will not be corrupted.
15 Еу, Даниел, м-ам тулбурат ку духул ши веденииле дин капул меу м-ау ынспэймынтат.
My spirit was terrified. I, Daniel, was fearful at these things, and the visions of my head disturbed me.
16 М-ам апропият де унул дин чей че стэтяу аколо ши л-ам ругат сэ-мь дя лэмурирь темейниче ку привире ла тоате ачесте лукрурь. Ел мь-а ворбит ши ми ле-а тылкуит астфел:
I approached one of the attendants and asked the truth from him about all these things. He told me the interpretation of the words, and he instructed me:
17 ‘Ачесте патру фяре марь сунт патру ымпэраць каре се вор ридика пе пэмынт.
“These four great beasts are four kingdoms, which will rise from the earth.
18 Дар сфинций Челуй Пряыналт вор прими ымпэрэция ши вор стэпыни ымпэрэция ын вечь, дин вешничие ын вешничие.’
Yet it is the saints of the Most High God who will receive the kingdom, and they will hold the kingdom from this generation, and forever and ever.”
19 Ын урмэ ам дорит сэ штиу адевэрул асупра фярей а патра – каре се деосебя де тоате челелалте ши ера неспус де грозавэ: авя динць де фер ши гяре де арамэ, мынка, сфэрыма ши кэлка ын пичоаре че рэмыня –
After this, I wanted to learn diligently about the fourth beast, which was very different from all, and exceedingly terrible; his teeth and claws were of iron; he devoured and crushed, and the remainder he trampled with his feet;
20 ши асупра челор зече коарне пе каре ле авя ын кап, ши асупра челуйлалт корн каре ешисе ши ынаинтя кэруя кэзусерэ трей, асупра корнулуй ачестуя, каре авя окь, о гурэ каре ворбя ку труфие ши авя о ынфэцишаре май маре декыт челелалте коарне.
and about the ten horns, which he had on his head, and about the other, which had sprung up, before which three horns fell, and about that horn which had eyes and a mouth speaking great things, and which was more powerful than the rest.
21 Ам вэзут, де асеменя, кум корнул ачеста а фэкут рэзбой сфинцилор ши й-а бируит,
I watched, and behold, that horn made war against the holy ones and prevailed over them,
22 пынэ кынд а венит Чел Ымбэтрынит де зиле ши а фэкут дрептате сфинцилор Челуй Пряыналт, ши а венит время кынд сфинций ау луат ын стэпынире ымпэрэция.
until the Ancient of days came and gave judgment to the holy ones of the Supreme One, and the time arrived, and the holy ones obtained the kingdom.
23 Ел мь-а ворбит аша: ‘Фяра а патра есте о а патра ымпэрэцие каре ва фи пе пэмынт. Еа се ва деосеби де тоате челелалте, ва сфышия тот пэмынтул, ыл ва кэлка ын пичоаре ши-л ва здроби.
And thus he said, “The fourth beast will be the fourth kingdom on earth, which will be greater than all the kingdoms, and will devour the whole earth, and will trample and crush it.
24 Челе зече коарне ынсямнэ кэ дин ымпэрэция ачаста се вор ридика зече ымпэраць. Яр дупэ ей се ва ридика ун алтул, каре се ва деосеби де ынаинташий луй ши ва доборы трей ымпэраць.
Moreover, the ten horns of the same kingdom will be ten kings, and another will rise up after them, and he will be mightier than the ones before him, and he will bring down three kings.
25 Ел ва рости ворбе де хулэ ымпотрива Челуй Пряыналт, ва асупри пе сфинций Челуй Пряыналт ши се ва ынкумета сэ скимбе времуриле ши леӂя, ши сфинций вор фи даць ын мыниле луй тимп де о време, доуэ времурь ши о жумэтате де време.
And he will speak words against the Supreme One, and will exhaust the holy ones of the Most High, and he will think about what it would take to change the times and the laws, and they will be given into his hand until a time, and times, and half a time.
26 Апой ва вени жудеката ши и се ва луа стэпыниря, каре ва фи прэбушитэ ши нимичитэ пентру тотдяуна.
And a trial will begin, so that his power may be taken away, and be crushed, and be undone all the way to the end.
27 Дар домния, стэпыниря ши путеря тутурор ымпэрэциилор каре сунт претутиндень суб черурь се вор да попорулуй сфинцилор Челуй Пряыналт. Ымпэрэция Луй есте о ымпэрэцие вешникэ ши тоате путериле Ый вор служи ши-Л вор аскулта!’
Yet the kingdom, and the power, and the greatness of that kingdom, which is under all of heaven, shall be given to the people of the holy ones of the Most High, whose kingdom is an everlasting kingdom, and all kings will serve and obey him.”
28 Аич с-ау сфыршит кувинтеле. Пе мине, Даниел, м-ау тулбурат неспус де мулт гындуриле меле ши ми с-а скимбат кулоаря фецей, дар ам пэстрат кувинтеле ачестя ын инима мя.”
And here is the end of the message. I, Daniel, was greatly disturbed by my thoughts, and my mood was changed in me, but I preserved the message in my heart.
