1 Ын ал трейля ан ал домнией луй Иоиаким, ымпэратул луй Иуда, Небукаднецар, ымпэратул Бабилонулуй, а венит ымпотрива Иерусалимулуй ши л-а ымпресурат.
In the third year of the reign of Jehoiakim king of Judah, came Nebuchadnezzar king of Babylon to Jerusalem, and laid siege against it;
2 Домнул а дат ын мыниле луй пе Иоиаким, ымпэратул луй Иуда, ши о парте дин васеле Касей луй Думнезеу. Небукаднецар а дус васеле ын цара Шинеар, ын каса думнезеулуй сэу, ле-а пус ын каса вистиерией думнезеулуй сэу.
and the Lord gave into his hand Jehoiakim king of Judah, and a part of the vessels of the house of God, and he brought them into the land of Shinar, into the house of his gods, —and, the vessels, brought he into the treasure-house of his gods.
3 Ымпэратул а дат порункэ луй Ашпеназ, кэпетения фаменилор сэй дрегэторь, сэ-й адукэ врео кыцьва дин копиий луй Исраел де ням ымпэрэтеск ши де вицэ боеряскэ,
Then did the king give word to Ashpenaz, the chief of his eunuchs, —that he should bring in, of the sons of Israel, even of the seed royal, and of the nobles,
4 ниште тинерь фэрэ вреун кусур трупеск, фрумошь ла кип, ынзестраць ку ынцелепчуне ын орьче рамурэ а штиинцей, ку минте аӂерэ ши причепере, ын старе сэ служяскэ ын каса ымпэратулуй ши пе каре сэ-й ынвеце скриеря ши лимба халдеенилор.
youths in whom was no blemish, but comely of countenance, and skilful in all wisdom, and possessed of knowledge, and able to impart instruction, and who had vigour in them, to stand in the palace of the king, —and that they should be taught the learning and the tongue of the Chaldeans.
5 Ымпэратул ле-а рындуит пе фиекаре зи о парте дин букателе де ла маса луй ши дин винул дин каре бя ел, врынд сэ-й кряскэ тимп де трей ань, дупэ каре авяу сэ фие ын служба ымпэратулуй.
And the king appointed them the provision of each day upon its day, out of the delicacies of the king and out of the wine which he drank, and so to let them grow three years, —and, at the end thereof, that they should stand before the king.
6 Принтре ей ерау, динтре копиий луй Иуда: Даниел, Ханания, Мишаел ши Азария.
Now there were, among them, out of the sons of Judah, Daniel, Hananiah, Mishael, and Azariah;
7 Кэпетения фаменилор дрегэторь ле-а пус ынсэ алте нуме, ши ануме: луй Даниел й-а пус нумеле Белтшацар; луй Ханания, Шадрак; луй Мишаел, Мешак ши луй Азария, Абед-Него.
and the ruler of the eunuchs gave them names, —yea he gave to Daniel the name of Belteshazzar, and to Hananiah of Shadrach, and to Mishael of Meshach, and to Azariah of Abed-nego.
8 Даниел с-а хотэрыт сэ ну се спурче ку букателе алесе але ымпэратулуй ши ку винул пе каре-л бя ымпэратул ши а ругат пе кэпетения фаменилор дрегэторь сэ ну-л силяскэ сэ се спурче.
But Daniel laid it upon his heart, that he would not defile himself with the delicacies of the king, nor with the wine which he drank, —therefore sought he of the ruler of the eunuchs, that he might not defile himself.
9 Думнезеу а фэкут ка Даниел сэ капете бунэвоинцэ ши тречере ынаинтя кэпетенией фаменилор дрегэторь.
But, although God had brought Daniel into lovingkindness and tender compassion, before the ruler of the eunuchs,
10 Кэпетения фаменилор а зис луй Даниел: „Мэ тем нумай де домнул меу ымпэратул, каре а хотэрыт че требуе сэ мынкаць ши сэ бець, ка ну кумва сэ вадэ фецеле воастре май тристе декыт але челорлалць тинерь де вырста воастрэ ши сэ-мь пунець астфел капул ын примеждие ынаинтя ымпэратулуй.”
yet said the ruler of the eunuchs unto Daniel, I do fear my lord the king, who hath appointed your food and your drink, —for why should he see your faces more sad than those of the youths of your own age? so should ye bring me under the penalty of mine own head unto the king.
11 Атунч, Даниел а зис ынгрижиторулуй кэруя ый ынкрединцасе кэпетения фаменилор привегеря асупра луй Даниел, Ханания, Мишаел ши Азария:
Then said Daniel, unto the overseer whom the ruler of the eunuchs had appointed over Daniel, Hananiah, Mishael, and Azariah:
12 „Ынчаркэ пе робий тэй зече зиле ши сэ ни се дя де мынкат зарзаватурь ши апэ де бэут;
I pray thee—prove thy servants, ten days, —and let them give us vegetable food, that we may eat, and water that we may drink:
13 сэ те уйць апой ла фаца ноастрэ ши ла а челорлалць тинерь каре мэнынкэ дин букателе ымпэратулуй ши сэ фачь ку робий тэй дупэ челе че вей ведя!”
then let our countenances be looked upon before thee, and the countenances of the youths who have been eating the delicacies of the king, —and, as thou shalt see, deal thou with thy servants.
14 Ел й-а аскултат ын привинца ачаста ши й-а ынчеркат зече зиле.
So then he hearkened unto them, according to this word, —and proved them ten days;
15 Дупэ челе зече зиле, ей ерау май бине ла фацэ ши май грашь декыт тоць тинерий каре мынкау дин букателе ымпэратулуй.
and, at the end of ten days, their countenances appeared more comely, and fatter in flesh, —than any of the youths who had been eating the delicacies of the king.
16 Ынгрижиторул луа букателе ши винул каре ле ерау рындуите ши ле дэдя зарзаватурь.
Thus it came about that the overseer continued taking away their delicacies, and the wine appointed them to drink, —and kept on giving them vegetable food.
17 Думнезеу а дат ачестор патру тинерь штиинцэ ши причепере пентру тот фелул де скриерь ши ынцелепчуне; май алес ынсэ а фэкут пе Даниел причепут ын тоате веденииле ши ын тоате виселе.
And, as for these four youths, God, gave them, knowledge and skill, in all learning and wisdom, —and, Daniel, had discernment, in all visions and dreams.
18 Ла время сорочитэ де ымпэрат ка сэ-й адукэ ла ел, кэпетения фаменилор й-а адус ынаинтя луй Небукаднецар.
Now, at the end of the days after which the king had given word to bring them in, then did the ruler of the eunuchs bring them in, before Nebuchadnezzar.
19 Ымпэратул а стат де ворбэ ку ей, дар, ынтре тоць тинерий ачея, ну с-а гэсит ничунул ка Даниел, Ханания, Мишаел ши Азария. Де ачея ей ау фост примиць ын служба ымпэратулуй.
So then the king, spake with them, and there was not found, from among them all, one like unto Daniel, Hananiah, Mishael, and Azariah, —therefore stood they before the king;
20 Ын тоате лукруриле каре черяу ынцелепчуне ши причепере ши деспре каре ый ынтреба ымпэратул, ый гэся де зече орь май дестойничь декыт тоць врэжиторий ши чититорий ын стеле каре ерау ын тоатэ ымпэрэция луй.
and, in any matter of wisdom and discernment as to which the king, enquired of them, he found them ten times better than all the sacred scribes—the magicians, who were in all his realm.
21 Аша а дус-о Даниел пынэ ын анул ынтый ал ымпэратулуй Чирус.
Now Daniel continued, until the first year of Cyrus the king.
