Амос 7
1 Домнул Думнезеу мь-а тримис ведения ачаста. Ятэ, фэчя ниште лэкусте ын клипа кынд ынчепя сэ кряскэ отава; ера отава дупэ коситул ымпэратулуй.
Thus did the Lord Eternal show unto me: and, behold, he was forming locusts in the beginning of the sprouting up of the latter groweth; and, lo, it was the latter growth after the king's mowings [was over].
2 Ши, дупэ че ау мынкат еле ку десэвыршире тоатэ ярба дин царэ, ам зис: „Доамне Думнезеуле, яртэ! Кум ар путя сэ стя Иаков ын пичоаре? Кэч есте аша де слаб!”
And it came to pass, when they had made an end of eating up the herbs of the earth, that I said, O Lord Eternal, forgive, I beseech thee: how should Jacob be able to endure, since he is so small!
3 Атунч, Домнул С-а кэит де лукрул ачеста: „Ну се ва ынтымпла уна ка ачаста”, а зис Домнул.
The Lord bethought himself of this: It shall not be, said the Lord.
4 Домнул Думнезеу мь-а тримис ведения ачаста: Ятэ, Домнул Думнезеу вестя педяпса прин фок ши фокул мынка адынкул чел маре ши апукасе ши кымпия.
Thus did the Lord Eternal show unto me: and, behold, the Lord Eternal called forth the punishment by fire, and it devoured the great deep, and consumed the ploughed field.
5 Еу ам зис: „Доамне Думнезеуле, опреште! Кум ар путя сэ стя ын пичоаре Иаков? Кэч есте аша де слаб!”
Then said I, O Lord Eternal, forbear, I beseech thee: how should Jacob be able to endure, since he is so small!
6 Атунч, Домнул С-а кэит ши де лукрул ачеста: „Нич уна ка ачаста ну се ва ынтымпла”, а зис Домнул Думнезеу.
The Lord bethought himself of this: Also this shall not be, said the Lord Eternal.
7 Ел мь-а тримис ведения ачаста: Ятэ, Домнул стэтя пе ун зид фэкут ла кумпэнэ ши авя о кумпэнэ ын мынэ.
Thus he showed unto me: and, behold, the Lord was standing upon a wall [made] by a plumbline, and in his hand was a plumbline.
8 Домнул мь-а зис: „Че везь, Амос?” Еу ам рэспунс: „О кумпэнэ.” Ши Домнул а зис: „Ятэ, вой пуне кумпэна ын мижлокул попорулуй Меу Исраел ши ну-л вой май ерта,
And the Lord said unto me, What dost thou see, 'Amos? And I said, A plumbline. Then said the Lord, Behold, I will set a plumbline in the midst of my people Israel; I will not farther indulge them any more.
9 чи ынэлцимиле луй Исаак вор фи пустиите; сфинтеле локашурь але луй Исраел вор фи дэрымате ши Мэ вой ридика ымпотрива касей луй Иеробоам ку сабия.”
And the high places of Isaac shall be made desolate, and the sanctuaries of Israel shall be laid in ruins: and I will rise up against the house of Jerobo'am with the sword.
10 Атунч, Амация, преотул дин Бетел, а тримис сэ спунэ луй Иеробоам, ымпэратул луй Исраел: „Амос унелтеште ымпотрива та ын мижлокул касей луй Исраел; цара ну поате сэ суфере тоате кувинтеле луй!
Then sent Amazyah, the priest of Beth-el, to Jerobo'am the king of Israel, saying, 'Amos hath conspired against thee in the midst of the house of Israel: the land is not able to bear all his words.
11 Кэч ятэ че зиче Амос: ‘Иеробоам ва фи учис де сабие, ши Исраел ва фи дус ын робие департе де цара са!’”
For thus hath 'Amos said, By the sword shall Jerobo'am die, and Israel shall surely be led away into exile out of their own land.
12 Ши Амация а зис луй Амос: „Плякэ, вэзэторуле, ши фуӂь ын цара луй Иуда! Мэнынкэ-ць пыня аколо ши аколо пророчеште.
And Amazyah said unto 'Amos, Seer, go, flee thee away into the land of Judah, and eat there [thy] bread, and there prophesy;
13 Дар ну май пророчи ла Бетел, кэч есте ун локаш сфынт ал ымпэратулуй ши есте ун темплу ал ымпэрэцией!”
But at Beth-el prophesy not farther any more; for it is the king's sanctuary, and it is a royal residence.
14 Амос а рэспунс луй Амация: „Еу ну сунт нич пророк, нич фиу де пророк, чи сунт пэстор ши стрынгэтор де смокине де Еӂипт.
Then answered 'Amos, and said to Amazyah, I am no prophet, nor am I a prophet's son; but I am a herdman, and a gatherer of wild figs;
15 Дар Домнул м-а луат де ла ой ши Домнул мь-а зис: ‘Ду-те ши пророчеште попорулуй Меу Исраел!’
But the Lord hath taken me away from behind the flocks, and the Lord said unto me, Go, prophesy unto my people Israel.
16 Аскултэ акум Кувынтул Домнулуй, ту, каре зичь: ‘Ну пророчи ымпотрива луй Исраел, ну ворби ымпотрива касей луй Исаак!’
And now hear thou the word of the Lord, Thou sayest, Prophesy not against Israel, and preach not against the house of Isaac.
17 Дин причина ачаста, ятэ че зиче Домнул: ‘Невастэ-та ва курви ын четате, фиий ши фийчеле тале вор кэдя ловиць де сабие, огорул тэу ва фи ымпэрцит ку фрынгия де мэсурат; ту ынсэ вей мури ынтр-ун пэмынт некурат ши Исраел ва фи дус ын робие департе де цара луй!’”
Therefore thus hath said the Lord, Thy wife will play the harlot in the city, and thy sons and thy daughters shall fall by the sword, and thy land shall be divided out by the line; and thou shalt die in an unclean land; and Israel shall surely be led forth into exile out of their land.
