Амос 4

1 Аскултаць кувынтул ачеста, жункане дин Басан, де пе мунтеле Самарией, вой каре асуприць пе чей сэрмань, здробиць пе чей липсиць ши зичець бэрбацилор воштри: „Даци-не сэ бем!”

Hear this word, ye kine of Bashan, that are in the mountain of Samaria, that oppress the poor, that crush the needy, that say to their lords, Bring, and let us drink:

2 Домнул Думнезеу а журат пе сфинцения Луй ши а зис: „Ятэ, вин зиле пентру вой кынд вэ вор принде ку кырлиӂеле ши рэмэшица воастрэ, ку ундице де пескарь;

the Lord Jehovah hath sworn by his holiness, that behold, days shall come upon you, when he will take you away with hooks, and your posterity with fish-hooks;

3 вець еши прин спэртурь, фиекаре дрепт ынаинте, ши вець фи лепэдате ын Хармон”, зиче Домнул.

and ye shall go out by the breaches, every one straight before her, and ye shall be cast out to Harmon, saith Jehovah.

4 „Дучеци-вэ нумай ла Бетел ши пэкэтуиць! Дучеци-вэ ла Гилгал ши пэкэтуиць ши май мулт! Адучеци-вэ жертфеле ын фиекаре диминяцэ ши зечуелиле ла фиекаре трей зиле!

Come to Bethel, and transgress; at Gilgal multiply transgression; and bring your sacrifices in the morning, your tithes every three days,

5 Фачець сэ фумеӂе жертфе де мулцумире фэкуте ку алуат! Трымбицаци-вэ, вестици-вэ даруриле де мынкаре де бунэвое! Кэч аша вэ плаче, копий ай луй Исраел”, зиче Домнул Думнезеу.

and burn a thank-offering with leaven, and proclaim, publish, voluntary offerings: for this pleaseth you, children of Israel, saith the Lord Jehovah.

6 „Ши Еу, де партя Мя, в-ам тримис фоаметя ын тоате четэциле воастре ши липса де пыне ын тоате локуинцеле воастре. Ку тоате ачестя, тот ну в-аць ынторс ла Мине”, зиче Домнул.

And I also have given you cleanness of teeth in all your cities, and want of bread in all your places; yet ye have not returned unto me, saith Jehovah.

7 „Н-ам врут сэ вэ дау нич плоае кынд май ерау ынкэ трей лунь пынэ ла сечерат; ам дат плоае песте о четате, дар н-ам дат плоае песте о алтэ четате; ынтр-ун огор а плоуат, ши алтул, ын каре н-а плоуат, с-а ускат.

And I also have withholden the rain from you, when there were yet three months to the harvest; and I caused it to rain upon one city, and caused it not to rain upon another city: one piece [of land] was rained upon, and the piece whereupon it rained not withered.

8 Доуэ, трей четэць с-ау дус ла алта ка сэ бя апэ, ши тот ну шь-ау потолит сетя. Ку тоате ачестя, тот ну в-аць ынторс ла Мине”, зиче Домнул.

And two, three, cities wandered unto one city, to drink water, and were not satisfied: yet have ye not returned unto me, saith Jehovah.

9 „В-ам ловит ку руӂинэ ын грыу ши ку тэчуне; грэдиниле воастре челе мулте, вииле, смокиний ши мэслиний воштри й-ау мынкат десеорь лэкустеле. Ку тоате ачестя, тот ну в-аць ынторс ла Мине”, зиче Домнул.

I have smitten you with blasting and mildew; the palmer-worm hath devoured the multitude of your gardens, and your vineyards, and your fig-trees and your olive-trees: yet have ye not returned unto me, saith Jehovah.

10 „Ам тримис ын вой чума, ка ын Еӂипт; в-ам учис тинерий ку сабия ши ам лэсат сэ ви се я каий, ам фэкут сэ ви се суе ын нэрь духоаря таберей воастре. Ши, ку тоате ачестя, тот ну в-аць ынторс ла Мине”, зиче Домнул.

I have sent among you the pestilence after the manner of Egypt: your young men have I slain with the sword, taking away captive your horses; and I made the stench of your camps to come up, even into your nostrils: yet have ye not returned unto me, saith Jehovah.

11 „В-ам нимичит ка пе Содома ши Гомора, пе каре ле-а нимичит Думнезеу, ши аць фост ка ун тэчуне скос дин фок. Ку тоате ачестя, тот ну в-аць ынторс ла Мине”, зиче Домнул.

I have overthrown among you, like God's overthrow of Sodom and Gomorrah, and ye were as a brand plucked out of the burning; yet have ye not returned unto me, saith Jehovah.

12 „Де ачея ыць вой фаче астфел, Исраеле, ши, фииндкэ ыць вой фаче астфел, прегэтеште-те сэ ынтылнешть пе Думнезеул тэу, Исраеле!”

Therefore thus will I do unto thee, O Israel: because I will do this unto thee, prepare to meet thy God, O Israel.

13 Кэч ятэ кэ Ел а ынтокмит мунций, а фэкут вынтул ши спуне омулуй пынэ ши гындуриле луй. Ел префаче зориле ын ынтунерик ши умблэ пе ынэлцимиле пэмынтулуй: Домнул Думнезеул оштирилор есте Нумеле Луй.

For behold, he who formeth the mountains, and createth the wind, and declareth unto man what is his thought, who maketh the morning darkness, and treadeth upon the high places of the earth, — Jehovah, the God of hosts, is his name.
