Амос 3
1 Аскултаць кувынтул ачеста пе каре-л ростеште Домнул ымпотрива воастрэ, копий ай луй Исраел, ымпотрива ынтреӂий фамилий пе каре ам скос-о дин цара Еӂиптулуй:
Hear this word which the Lord hath spoken concerning you, O children of Israel, concerning the whole family which I have brought up from the land of Egypt, saying,
2 „Еу в-ам алес нумай пе вой динтре тоате фамилииле пэмынтулуй, де ачея вэ вой ши педепси пентру тоате нелеӂюириле воастре.”
Only you have I loved out of all the families of the earth: therefore will I visit upon you all your iniquities.
3 Мерг оаре дой оамень ымпреунэ фэрэ сэ фие ынвоиць?
Will two walk together, except they had agreed [to do so]?
4 Рэкнеште леул ын пэдуре дакэ н-аре прадэ? Збярэ пуюл де леу дин фундул визуиний луй дакэ н-а принс нимик?
Will a lion roar in the forest, when he hath no prey? will a young lion send forth his voice out of his den, unless he have caught something?
5 Каде пасэря ын лацул де пе пэмынт дакэ ну и с-а ынтинс о курсэ? Се ридикэ лацул де ла пэмынт фэрэ сэ се фи принс чева ын ел?
Can a bird fall in a snare upon the earth, when there is no gin for him? is ever a snare taken up from the ground, when it hath caught nothing at all?
6 Сау сунэ чинева ку трымбица ынтр-о четате фэрэ сэ се ынспэймынте попорул? Сау се ынтымплэ о ненорочире ынтр-о четате фэрэ с-о фи фэкут Домнул?
Shall a cornet be blown in a city, and the people not become afraid? shall there be evil in a city, and the Lord have not done it?
7 Ну, Домнул Думнезеу ну фаче нимик фэрэ сэ-Шь дескопере тайна Са служиторилор Сэй, пророчий.
For the Lord Eternal will do nothing, unless he have revealed his secret unto his servants the prophets.
8 Леул рэкнеште: чине ну се ва сперия? Домнул Думнезеу ворбеште: чине ну ва пророчи?
The lion hath roared, who will not fear? the Lord Eternal hath spoken, who will not prophesy?
9 Стригаць де пе акоперишул палателор Асдодулуй ши де пе палателе цэрий Еӂиптулуй ши спунець: „Стрынӂеци-вэ пе мунций Самарией ши ведець че неорындуялэ маре есте ын мижлокул ей, че асуприрь сунт ын еа!
Publish at the palaces in Ashdod, and at the palaces in the land of Egypt, and say, Assemble yourselves upon the mountains of Samaria, and behold the great confusions in her midst, and the oppressions [that are] within her.
10 Ну сунт ын старе сэ лукрезе ку неприхэнире”, зиче Домнул, „чи ышь грэмэдеск ын палате коморь кыштигате прин силничие ши рэпире.”
For they know not how to act rightly, saith the Lord, who treasure up violence and robbery in their palaces.
11 Де ачея, аша ворбеште Домнул Думнезеу: „Врэжмашул ва ымпресура цара, ыць ва доборы тэрия ши палателе тале вор фи жефуите!”
Therefore thus hath said the Lord Eternal, The adversary [is there] and surroundeth the land: and he shall bring down from thee thy strength, and thy palaces shall be plundered.
12 Аша ворбеште Домнул: „Дупэ кум пэсторул скапэ дин гура леулуй нумай доуэ букэць де пичоаре сау ун вырф де уреке, аша вор скэпа копиий луй Исраел каре стау ын Самария ын колцул унуй пат ши пе ковоаре де Дамаск!
Thus hath said the Lord, As the shepherd snatcheth out of the mouth of the lion [at most] two leg-bones, or a tip of the ear: so shall be delivered the children of Israel that sit in Samaria on the corner of a bed, and on Damascus couches.
13 Аскултаць ши спунець лукрул ачеста касей луй Иаков”, зиче Домнул Думнезеу, Думнезеул оштирилор:
Hear ye, and give warning in the house of Jacob, saith the Lord Eternal, the God of hosts.
14 „Ын зиуа кынд вой педепси пе Исраел пентру фэрэделеӂиле луй, вой педепси ши алтареле дин Бетел; коарнеле алтарулуй вор фи сфэрымате ши вор кэдя ла пэмынт.
For on the day when I visit the transgressions of Israel upon him, will I also inflict punishment on the altars of Beth-el: and then shall be hewn off the horns of the altar, and they shall fall to the ground.
15 Вой сурпа каселе де ярнэ ши каселе де варэ; палателе де филдеш се вор дуче ши каселе челе мулте се вор нимичи”, зиче Домнул.
And I will smite the winter-house together with the summer-house: and the houses of ivory shall disappear, and the great houses shall be no more, saith the Lord.
