1 Дар Саул суфла ынкэ аменинцаря ши учидеря ымпотрива ученичилор Домнулуй. С-а дус ла мареле преот
And Saul, still breathing out threatening and slaughter against the disciples of the Lord, went to the chief priest,
2 ши й-а черут скрисорь кэтре синагоӂиле дин Дамаск, ка, дакэ ва гэси пе уний умблынд пе Каля крединцей, атыт бэрбаць, кыт ши фемей, сэ-й адукэ легаць ла Иерусалим.
and asked of him letters to Damascus, for the synagogues, that, if he should find any who were of this persuasion, either men or women, he might bring them bound to Jerusalem.
3 Пе друм, кынд с-а апропият де Дамаск, деодатэ а стрэлучит о луминэ дин чер ын журул луй.
And as he journeyed, he came near Damascus; and suddenly there shone round about him a light from heaven.
4 Ел а кэзут ла пэмынт ши а аузит ун глас, каре-й зичя: „Сауле, Сауле, пентру чеМэ пригонешть?”
And when he had fallen to the earth, he heard a voice saying to him: Saul, Saul, why do you persecute me?
5 „Чине ешть Ту, Доамне?” а рэспунс ел. Ши Домнул а зис: „Еу сунт Исус, пе каре-Л пригонешть. Ць-ар фи греусэ арунчь ынапой ку пичорул ынтр-ун цепуш.”
He answered: Who art thou, Lord? And the Lord said: I am Jesus, whom you persecute.
6 Тремурынд ши плин де фрикэ, ел а зис: „Доамне, че врей сэ фак?” „Скоалэ-те”, й-а зис Домнул, „интрэ ын четате ши ци се ва спуне че требуе сэ фачь.”
But rise, and go into the city, and it shall be told you what you must do.
7 Оамений каре-л ынсоцяу ау рэмас ынкремениць; аузяу ын адевэр гласул, дар ну ведяу пе нимень.
The men who journeyed with him stood amazed; for they heard a voice, but saw no one.
8 Саул с-а скулат де ла пэмынт ши, мэкар кэ окий ый ерау дескишь, ну ведя нимик. Л-ау луат де мынь ши л-ау дус ын Дамаск.
And Saul arose from the earth, and when his eyes were opened, he saw no one; but they led him by the hand, and brought him into Damascus.
9 Трей зиле н-а вэзут ши н-а мынкат, нич н-а бэут нимик.
And he was three days without sight, and neither ate nor drank.
10 Ын Дамаск ера ун ученик нумит Анания. Домнул й-а зис ынтр-о ведение: „Анания!” „Ятэ-мэ, Доамне”, а рэспунс ел.
Now there was a certain disciple in Damascus, named Ananias; and the Lord said to him in a vision: Ananias. He answered: Behold me, Lord.
11 Ши Домнул й-а зис: „Скоалэ-те, ду-те пе улица каре се кямэ Дряптэ ши каутэ ын каса луй Иуда пе унул зис Саул, ун ом дин Тарс. Кэч ятэ, ел се роагэ.
And the Lord said to him: Arise, and go into the street that is called Straight, and inquire at the house of Judas for one called Saul of Tarsus: for behold, he is praying;
12 Ши а вэзут ын ведение пе ун ом, нумит Анания, интрынд ла ел ши пунынду-шь мыниле песте ел, ка сэ-шь капете ярэшь ведеря.”
and he has seen in a vision a man named Ananias, coming in and laying his hand on him, that he may receive his sight.
13 „Доамне”, а рэспунс Анания, „ам аузит де ла мулць деспре тоате релеле пе каре ле-а фэкут омул ачеста сфинцилор Тэй ын Иерусалим,
But Ananias answered: Lord, I have heard from many of this man, how much evil he has done to thy saints in Jerusalem;
14 ба ши аич аре путерь дин партя преоцилор челор май де сямэ ка сэ леӂе пе тоць каре кямэ Нумеле Тэу.”
and here he has authority from the chief priests to bind all that call upon thy name.
15 Дар Домнул й-а зис: „Ду-те, кэч елесте ун вас пе каре л-ам алес ка сэ дукэ Нумеле Меу ынаинтя нямурилор, ынаинтя ымпэрацилорши ынаинтя фиилор луй Исраел;
But the Lord said to him: Go; for he is a vessel chosen by me to bear my name before nations and kings, and the sons of Israel.
16 ши ыйвой арэта тот че требуе сэ суфере пентру Нумеле Меу.”
For I will show him what great things he must suffer for my name.
17 Анания а плекат; ши, дупэ че а интрат ын касэ, а пус мыниле песте Саул ши а зис: „Фрате Сауле, Домнул Исус, каре ци С-а арэтат пе друмул пе каре веняй, м-а тримис ка сэ капець ведеря ши сэ те умпли де Духул Сфынт.”
And Ananias went, and entered the house, and laying his hands on him, said: Brother Saul, the Lord, even Jesus, who appeared to you on the road by which you came, has sent me, that you may receive your sight, and be filled with the Holy Spirit.
18 Кяр ын клипа ачея, ау кэзут де пе окий луй ун фел де солзь, ши ел шь-а кэпэтат ярэшь ведеря. Апой с-а скулат ши а фост ботезат.
And immediately there fell from his eyes something like scales, and he instantly received his sight; and he arose, and was immersed.
19 Дупэ че а мынкат, а принс ярэшь путере. Саул а рэмас кытева зиле ку ученичий каре ерау ын Дамаск.
And, having taken food, he was strengthened. And he was with the disciples in Damascus for some days;
20 Ши ындатэ а ынчепут сэ проповэдуяскэ ын синагоӂь кэ Исус есте Фиул луй Думнезеу.
and immediately he preached Jesus in the synagogues, that he is the Sou of God.
21 Тоць чей че-л аскултау рэмыняу уймиць ши зичяу: „Ну есте ел ачела каре фэчя прэпэд ын Иерусалим, принтре чей че кемау Нумеле ачеста? Ши н-а венит ел аич ка сэ-й дукэ легаць ынаинтя преоцилор челор май де сямэ?”
And all that heard him were astonished, and said: Is not this he who destroyed in Jerusalem those that call on this name, and who has come hither for this purpose, that he might carry them bound to the chief priests?
22 Тотушь Саул се ынтэря дин че ын че май мулт ши фэчя де рушине пе иудеий каре локуяу ын Дамаск, довединд кэ Исус есте Христосул.
But Saul increased the more in strength, and confuted the Jews that dwelt in Damascus, proving that this is the Christ.
23 Дупэ кытва тимп, иудеий с-ау сфэтуит сэ-л омоаре,
And, after many days had passed, the Jews determined to kill him.
24 ши унелтиря лор а ажунс ла куноштинца луй Саул. Порциле ерау пэзите зи ши ноапте, ка сэ-л омоаре.
And their plot was made known to Saul; and they watched the gates day and night, that they might kill him.
25 Дар, ынтр-о ноапте, ученичий л-ау луат ши л-ау коборыт прин зид, дынду-л жос ынтр-о кошницэ.
But the disciples took him by night, and let him down through the vail in a basket,
26 Кынд а ажунс ын Иерусалим, Саул а кэутат сэ се липяскэ де ученичь, дар тоць се темяу де ел, кэч ну путяу сэ крядэ кэ есте ученик.
And having come to Jerusalem, he attempted to associate with the disciples: and they were all afraid of him, for they did not believe that he was a disciple.
27 Атунч, Барнаба л-а луат ку ел, л-а дус ла апостоль ши ле-а историсит кум, пе друм, Саул вэзусе пе Домнул, каре й-а ворбит, ши кум ын Дамаск проповэдуисе ку ындрэзнялэ ын Нумеле луй Исус.
But Barnabas took him, and brought him to the apostles, and told them how he had seen the Lord on the road, and that he had spoken to him, and how he had boldly preached in Damascus in the name of Jesus.
28 Де атунч се дучя ши веня ымпреунэ ку ей ын Иерусалим
And he was with them in Jerusalem, coming in and going out; and, speaking boldly in the name of the Lord Jesus,
29 ши проповэдуя ку ындрэзнялэ ын Нумеле Домнулуй. Ворбя ши се ынтреба ши ку евреий каре ворбяу гречеште, дар ей кэутау сэ-л омоаре.
he conversed and reasoned with the Hellenists; but they undertook to kill him.
30 Кынд ау афлат фраций де лукрул ачеста, л-ау дус ла Чезарея ши л-ау порнит ла Тарс.
And when the brethren learned this, they brought him down to Cæsarea, and sent him out to Tarsus.
31 Бисерика се букура де паче ын тоатэ Иудея, Галилея ши Самария, се ынтэря суфлетеште ши умбла ын фрикэ де Домнул ши, ку ажуторул Духулуй Сфынт, се ынмулця.
Then the churches throughout the whole of Judea and Galilee and Samaria had peace, and were edified; and, walking in the fear of the Lord, and in the comfort of the Holy Spirit, they were multiplied.
32 Пе кынд черчета Петру пе тоць сфинций, с-а коборыт ши ла чей че локуяу ын Лида.
And it came to pass that Peter, passing through all the places, came down also to the saints that dwelt in Lydda.
33 Аколо а гэсит ун ом, ануме Еня, каре зэчя де опт ань олог ын пат.
And he found there a certain man named Æneas, who was a paralytic, and had kept his bed for eight years.
34 „Еня”, й-а зис Петру, „Исус Христос те виндекэ; скоалэ-те ши фэ-ць патул.” Ши Еня с-а скулат ындатэ.
And Peter said to him: Æneas, Jesus the Christ restores you to health; arise, and spread your bed for yourself. And he immediately arose;
35 Тоць локуиторий дин Лида ши дин Сарона л-ау вэзут ши с-ау ынторс ла Домнул.
and all that dwelt in Lydda and Saron saw him; and they turned to the Lord.
36 Ын Иопе, ера о ученицэ нумитэ Табита, нуме каре, ын тэлмэчире, се зиче Дорка. Еа фэчя о мулциме де фапте буне ши милостений.
Now there was in Joppa a certain disciple named Tabitha, which name, when translated, is Dorcas. She was full of good works and deeds of charity which she did.
37 Ын время ачея, с-а ымболнэвит ши а мурит. Дупэ че ау скэлдат-о, ау пус-о ынтр-о одае де сус.
And it came to pass, in those days, that she was taken sick, and died. And when they had washed her, they laid her in an upper room.
38 Фииндкэ Лида есте апроапе де Иопе, ученичий, кынд ау аузит кэ Петру есте аколо, ау тримис дой оамень ла ел сэ-л роаӂе: „Ну преӂета сэ вий пынэ ла ной.”
And as Lydda was near to Joppa, the disciples, having heard that Peter was there, sent two men to him, requesting him to make no delay in coming to them.
39 Петру с-а скулат ши а плекат ымпреунэ ку ей. Кынд а сосит, л-ау дус ын одая де сус. Тоате вэдувеле л-ау ынконжурат плынгынд ши й-ау арэтат хайнеле ши кэмэшиле пе каре ле фэчя Дорка пе кынд ера ку еле.
Then Peter arose, and went with them; and when he had come, they brought him into the upper room; and all the widows stood by him weeping, and showing the coats and garments that Dorcas made while she was with them.
40 Петру а скос пе тоатэ лумя афарэ, а ынӂенункят ши с-а ругат; апой, с-а ынторс спре труп ши а зис: „Табита, скоалэ-те!” Еа а дескис окий ши, кынд а вэзут пе Петру, а стат ын капул оаселор.
But Peter put them all out, and kneeled down and prayed; and turning to the body, he said: Tabitha, arise. And she opened her eyes; and when she saw Peter, she sat up.
41 Ел й-а дат мына ши а ридикат-о ын сус. А кемат ындатэ пе сфинць ши пе вэдуве ши ле-а пус-о ынаинте вие.
And he gave her his hand, and raised her up. And when he had called in the saints and the widows, he presented her alive.
42 Минуня ачаста а фост куноскутэ ын тоатэ четатя Иопе ши мулць ау крезут ын Домнул.
And it was known throughout all Joppa, and many believed on the Lord.
43 Петру а рэмас мулте зиле ын Иопе, ла ун тэбэкар нумит Симон.
And it came to pass, that he remained many days in Joppa with one Simon, a tanner.
