Фаптеле 16
1 Ын урмэ, Павел с-а дус ла Дербе ши ла Листра. Ши ятэ кэ аколо ера ун ученик нумит Тимотей, фиул уней иудейче крединчоасе ши ал унуй татэ грек.
And he came also to Derbe and Lystra, where there was a certain disciple named Timothy, the son of a believing Jewess, and of a Greek father.
2 Фраций дин Листра ши Икония ыл ворбяу де бине.
He was well spoken of by the brothers in Lystra and Iconiun.
3 Павел а врут сэ-л я ку ел ши, дупэ че л-а луат, л-а тэят ымпрежур, дин причина иудеилор каре ерау ын ачеле локурь, кэч тоць штияу кэ татэл луй ера грек.
Now Paul, wishing that this man should accompany him on his journey, took him and circumcised him because of the local Jews, who all knew that his father was a Greek.
4 Пе кынд тречя прин четэць, ынвэца пе фраць сэ пэзяскэ хотэрыриле апостолилор ши презбитерилор дин Иерусалим.
And as they went on their way through the cities they handed them the resolutions which the apostles and the elders in Jerusalem had ordained for them to keep.
5 Бисеричиле се ынтэряу ын крединцэ ши споряу ла нумэр дин зи ын зи.
So the churches were strengthened in the faith and continued to increase in number daily.
6 Фииндкэ ау фост оприць де Духул Сфынт сэ вестяскэ Кувынтул ын Асия, ау трекут прин цинутул Фриӂией ши Галатией.
Then they went through Phrygia and Galatia, the Holy Spirit having forbidden them to proclaim the message in Asia.
7 Ажуншь лынгэ Мисия, се прегэтяу сэ интре ын Битиния; дар Духул луй Исус ну ле-а дат вое.
When they got as far as Mysia, they attempted to enter Bithynia, but the Spirit of Jesus would not permit it;
8 Ау трекут атунч прин Мисия ши с-ау коборыт ла Троа.
and so they passed by Mysia and went on down to Troas.
9 Ноаптя, Павел а авут о ведение: ун ом дин Мачедония стэтя ын пичоаре ши й-а фэкут урмэтоаря ругэминте: „Тречь ын Мачедония ши ажутэ-не!”
Here a vision appeared to Paul in the night. There stood a man of Macedonia, entreating him and saying, "Come over into Macedonia and help us!"
10 Дупэ ведения ачаста а луй Павел, ам кэутат ындатэ сэ не дучем ын Мачедония, кэч ынцелеӂям кэ Домнул не кямэ сэ ле вестим Евангелия.
So when he had seen the vision, we sought at once to go forth into Macedonia, because we concluded that God had called us to preach the gospel to them.
11 Дупэ че ам порнит дин Троа, ам мерс ку корабия дрепт ла Самотрачия ши а доуа зи не-ам оприт ла Неаполис.
So we set sail from Troas and ran a straight course to Samothrace. The next day we arrived in Neapolis,
12 Де аколо не-ам дус ла Филипь, каре есте чя динтый четате динтр-ун цинут ал Мачедонией ши о колоние романэ. Ын четатя ачаста ам стат кытева зиле.
and thence came to Philippi, a city of Macedonia, the fore most in its district, a Roman colony. There we stayed for some time.
13 Ын зиуа Сабатулуй, ам ешит пе поарта четэций, лынгэ ун рыу, унде кредям кэ се афлэ ун лок де ругэчуне. Ам шезут жос ши ам ворбит фемеилор, каре ерау адунате лаолалтэ.
On the Sabbath Day we went outside the city gate, to a riverside, where we supposed there was a place of prayer; and we sat down and talked to the women who had gathered there.
14 Уна дин еле, нумитэ Лидия, вынзэтоаре де пурпурэ, дин четатя Тиатира, ера о фемее темэтоаре де Думнезеу ши аскулта. Домнул й-а дескис инима, ка сэ я аминте ла челе че спуня Павел.
Among them was a certain woman named Lydia, a seller of purple, who belonged to the town of Thyatira. She, since she was a worshiper of God, listened to us, and the Lord opened her heart to attend to what Paul said.
15 Дупэ че а фост ботезатэ, еа ши каса ей, не-а ругат ши не-а зис: „Дакэ мэ сокотиць крединчоасэ Домнулуй, интраць ши рэмынець ын каса мя.” Ши не-а силит сэ интрэм.
When she was baptized, and her household, she urged us, saying, "If in your judgment I am a believer in the Lord, come and stay at my house." And she compelled us to come.
16 Пе кынд не дучям ла локул де ругэчуне, не-а ешит ынаинте о роабэ, каре авя ун дух де гичире. Прин гичире, еа адучя мулт кыштиг стэпынилор ей.
Now as we were going to the place of prayer, a certain slave girl met us, who had a spirit of divination, and who brought her masters great gain by fortune-telling.
17 Роаба ачаста с-а луат дупэ Павел ши дупэ ной ши стрига: „Оамений ачештя сунт робий Думнезеулуй челуй Пряыналт ши ей вэ вестеск каля мынтуирий.”
She used to follow after Paul and us, crying out again and again, "These men are servants of the most high God, who proclaimed to you the way of salvation."
18 Аша а фэкут еа тимп де май мулте зиле. Павел, некэжит, с-а ынторс ши а зис духулуй: „Ын Нумеле луй Исус Христос ыць порунческ сэ ешь дин еа.” Ши а ешит кяр ын часул ачела.
She persisted in this for many days, until Paul, worn out, turned round and said to the spirit, "I charge you, in the name of Jesus Christ, to come out of her." In that very hour it came out of her.
19 Кынд ау вэзут стэпыний роабей кэ с-а дус нэдеждя кыштигулуй лор, ау пус мына пе Павел ши пе Сила ши й-ау тырыт ын пяцэ ынаинтя фрунташилор.
But when her owners saw that their hopes of gain were gone, they seized Paul and Silas, and dragged them before the magistrates, into the market-place.
20 Й-ау дат пе мына дрегэторилор ши ау зис: „Оамений ачештя не тулбурэ четатя; сунт ниште иудей
Then they brought them before the praetors, saying. "These fellows are Jews, who are making a great disturbance in our city.
21 каре вестеск ниште обичеюрь пе каре ной, романий, ну требуе нич сэ ле примим, нич сэ ле урмэм.”
"They are teaching customs which it is not lawful for us as Romans to adopt or practise."
22 Нородул с-а ридикат ши ел ымпотрива лор, ши дрегэторий ау пус сэ ле смулгэ хайнеле де пе ей ши ау порунчит сэ-й батэ ку нуеле.
The crowd, too, rose up together against them, and the praetors, after having them stripped, and after ordering them to be flogged,
23 Дупэ че ле-ау дат мулте ловитурь, й-ау арункат ын темницэ ши ау дат ын грижэ темничерулуй сэ-й пэзяскэ бине.
had many lashes inflicted upon them, and put them in prison, with a charge to the jailer to keep them safe.
24 Темничерул, ка унул каре примисе о астфел де порункэ, й-а арункат ын темница динэунтру ши ле-а бэгат пичоареле ын бутучь.
On receiving so strict an order he cast them into the inner prison, and made their feet fast in the stocks.
25 Пе ла мезул нопций, Павел ши Сила се ругау ши кынтау кынтэрь де лаудэ луй Думнезеу, яр чей ынкишь ый аскултау.
But at midnight, while Paul and Silas were praying and singing hymns to God, and the prisoners were listening to them,
26 Деодатэ, с-а фэкут ун маре кутремур де пэмынт, аша кэ с-ау клэтинат темелииле темницей. Ындатэ, с-ау дескис тоате ушиле ши с-ау дезлегат легэтуриле фиекэруя.
suddenly there was a great earthquake, so that the very foundations of the prison-house were shaken; and instantly all the doors were opened, and every one’s chains fell off.
27 Темничерул с-а дештептат ши, кынд а вэзут ушиле темницей дескисе, а скос сабия ши ера сэ се омоаре, кэч кредя кэ чей ынкишь ау фуӂит.
The jailer, roused from sleep, and seeing the doors wide open, drew his sword and was about to kill himself, because he thought that the prisoners had escaped.
28 Дар Павел а стригат ку глас таре: „Сэ ну-ць фачь ничун рэу, кэч тоць сунтем аич.”
But Paul shouted loudly to him. "Do yourself no harm; for we are all here!"
29 Атунч, темничерул а черут о луминэ, а сэрит ынэунтру ши, тремурынд де фрикэ, с-а арункат ла пичоареле луй Павел ши але луй Сила,
So he called for lights, and sprang in, and, trembling for fear, fell down before Paul and Silas,
30 й-а скос афарэ ши ле-а зис: „Домнилор, че требуе сэ фак ка сэ фиу мынтуит?”
and brought them out, saying, "Sirs, what must I do to be saved?"
31 Павел ши Сила й-ау рэспунс: „Креде ын Домнул Исус ши вей фи мынтуит, ту ши каса та.”
"Believe on the Lord Jesus," they answered, "and you will be saved, you and all your household."
32 Ши й-ау вестит Кувынтул Домнулуй, атыт луй, кыт ши тутурор челор дин каса луй.
Then they spoke the message of the Lord to him, as well as to all who were in his house.
33 Темничерул й-а луат ку ел кяр ын часул ачела дин ноапте, ле-а спэлат рэниле ши а фост ботезат ындатэ, ел ши тоць ай луй.
And he took them, the same hour of the night, and washed their wounds, and he was baptized at once, he and all his.
34 Дупэ че й-а дус ын касэ, ле-а пус маса ши с-а букурат ку тоатэ каса луй кэ а крезут ын Думнезеу.
And after bringing them up into his house, he set food before them, overjoyed with all his household in having believed in God.
35 Кынд с-а фэкут зиуэ, дрегэторий ау тримис пе чей че пуртау нуелеле сэ спунэ темничерулуй: „Дэ друмул оаменилор ачелора.”
But in the morning the praetors sent their lictors with the order, "Let these men go."
36 Ши темничерул а спус луй Павел ачесте кувинте: „Дрегэторий ау тримис сэ ви се дя друмул; акум дар, ешиць афарэ ши дучеци-вэ ын паче.”
The jailer reported the words to Paul, saying. "The praetors have sent to release you; so come out, and go in peace."
37 Дар Павел ле-а зис: „Дупэ че не-ау бэтут ку нуеле ын фаца тутурор фэрэ сэ фим жудекаць, пе ной, каре сунтем романь, не-ау арункат ын темницэ, ши акум не скот афарэ пе аскунс! Ну мерӂе аша! Сэ винэ ей сингурь сэ не скоатэ афарэ!”
But Paul said. "They have flogged us publicly, uncondemned, men that are Roman citizens; and have thrown us into prison. Are they now going to get rid of us secretly? No, indeed! Let them come here, themselves and take us out."
38 Чей че пуртау нуелеле ау спус ачесте кувинте дрегэторилор. Ачештя с-ау темут кынд ау аузит кэ сунт романь.
The lictors reported these words to the praetors, who were frightened when they heard that they were Romans.
39 Дрегэторий ау венит сэ-й потоляскэ, й-ау скос афарэ дин темницэ ши й-ау ругат сэ пэрэсяскэ четатя.
So they came and conciliated them, and after taking them out of prison, begged them to leave the town.
40 Ей ау ешит дин темницэ ши ау интрат ын каса Лидией; ши, дупэ че ау вэзут ши мынгыят пе фраць, ау плекат.
So Paul and Silas came out of the prison, and went to Lydia’s house; and after they had seen the brethren and encouraged them, they left Philippi.
