1 Ын Икония, Павел ши Барнаба ау интрат ын синагога иудеилор ши ау ворбит ын аша фел кэ о маре мулциме де иудей ши де гречь ау крезут.
At Iconium, Paul and Barnabas went as usual into the Jewish synagogue, where they spoke so well that a great number of Jews and Greeks believed.
2 Дар иудеий каре н-ау крезут ау ынтэрытат ши ау рэзврэтит суфлетеле нямурилор ымпотрива фрацилор.
But the unbelieving Jews stirred up the Gentiles and poisoned their minds against the brothers.
3 Тотушь ау рэмас дестул де мултэ време ын Икония ши ворбяу ку ындрэзнялэ ын Домнул, каре адеверя Кувынтул привитор ла харул Сэу ши ынгэдуя сэ се факэ семне ши минунь прин мыниле лор.
So Paul and Barnabas spent considerable time there, speaking boldly for the Lord, who affirmed the message of His grace by enabling them to perform signs and wonders.
4 Мулцимя дин четате с-а дезбинат: уний ерау ку иудеий, алций ку апостолий.
The people of the city were divided. Some sided with the Jews, and others with the apostles.
5 Нямуриле ши иудеий, ын ынвоире ку май-марий лор, с-ау пус ын мишкаре, ка сэ-й батжокоряскэ ши сэ-й учидэ ку петре.
But when the Gentiles and Jews, together with their rulers, set out to mistreat and stone them,
6 Павел ши Барнаба ау ынцелес лукрул ачеста ши ау фуӂит ын четэциле Ликаонией: Листра ши Дербе, ши ын цинутул де примпрежур.
they found out about it and fled to the Lycaonian cities of Lystra and Derbe and to the surrounding region,
7 Ши ау проповэдуит Евангелия аколо.
where they continued to preach the gospel.
8 Ын Листра ера ун ом непутинчос де пичоаре, олог дин наштере, каре ну умбласе ничодатэ.
In Lystra there sat a man crippled in his feet, who was lame from birth and had never walked.
9 Ел шедя жос ши аскулта пе Павел кынд ворбя. Павел с-а уйтат цинтэ ла ел, ши фииндкэ а вэзут кэ аре крединцэ ка сэ фие тэмэдуит,
This man was listening to the words of Paul, who looked intently at him and saw that he had faith to be healed.
10 а зис ку глас таре: „Скоалэ-те дрепт ын пичоаре.” Ши ел с-а скулат динтр-о сэритурэ ши а ынчепут сэ умбле.
In a loud voice Paul called out, “Stand up on your feet!” And the man jumped up and began to walk.
11 Ла ведеря челор фэкуте де Павел, нороаделе шь-ау ридикат гласул ши ау зис ын лимба ликаониянэ: „Зеий с-ау коборыт ла ной ын кип оменеск.”
When the crowds saw what Paul had done, they lifted up their voices in the Lycaonian language: “The gods have come down to us in human form!”
12 Пе Барнаба ыл нумяу Жупитер, яр пе Павел, Меркур, пентру кэ мынуя кувынтул.
Barnabas they called Zeus, and Paul they called Hermes, because he was the chief speaker.
13 Преотул луй Жупитер, ал кэруй темплу ера ла интраря четэций, а адус таурь ши кунунь ынаинтя порцилор ши воя сэ ле адукэ жертфэ, ымпреунэ ку нороаделе.
The priest of Zeus, whose temple was just outside the city, brought bulls and wreaths to the city gates, hoping to offer a sacrifice along with the crowds.
14 Апостолий Барнаба ши Павел, кынд ау аузит лукрул ачеста, шь-ау рупт хайнеле, ау сэрит ын мижлокул нородулуй ши ау стригат:
But when the apostles Barnabas and Paul found out about this, they tore their clothes and rushed into the crowd, shouting,
15 „Оаменилор, де че фачець лукрул ачеста? Ши ной сунтем оамень де ачеяшь фире ку вой; ной вэ адучем о весте бунэ, ка сэ вэ ынтоарчець де ла ачесте лукрурь дешарте ла Думнезеул чел виу, каре а фэкут черул, пэмынтул ши маря ши тот че есте ын еле.
“Men, why are you doing this? We too are only men, human like you. We are bringing you good news that you should turn from these worthless things to the living God, who made heaven and earth and sea and everything in them.
16 Ел, ын вякуриле трекуте, а лэсат пе тоате нямуриле сэ умбле пе кэиле лор,
In past generations, He let all nations go their own way.
17 мэкар кэ, дрепт ворбинд, ну С-а лэсат фэрэ мэртурие, ынтрукыт в-а фэкут бине, в-а тримис плой дин чер ши тимпурь родитоаре, в-а дат хранэ дин белшуг ши в-а умплут инимиле де букурие.”
Yet He has not left Himself without testimony to His goodness: He gives you rain from heaven and fruitful seasons, filling your hearts with food and gladness.”
18 Абя ау путут сэ ымпедиче, ку ворбеле ачестя, пе нороаде, сэ ле адукэ жертфэ.
Even with these words, Paul and Barnabas could hardly stop the crowds from sacrificing to them.
19 Атунч, ау венит пе неаштептате дин Антиохия ши Икония ниште иудей, каре ау ацыцат пе нороаде. Ачештя, дупэ че ау ымпрошкат пе Павел ку петре, л-ау тырыт афарэ дин четате, крезынд кэ а мурит.
Then some Jews arrived from Antioch and Iconium and won over the crowds. They stoned Paul and dragged him outside the city, presuming he was dead.
20 Кынд л-ау ынконжурат ынсэ ученичий, Павел с-а скулат ши а интрат ын четате. А доуа зи, а плекат ку Барнаба ла Дербе.
But after the disciples had gathered around him, he got up and went back into the city. And the next day he left with Barnabas for Derbe.
21 Дупэ че ау проповэдуит Евангелия ын четатя ачаста, ши ау фэкут мулць ученичь, с-ау ынторс ла Листра, ла Икония ши ла Антиохия,
They preached the gospel to that city and made many disciples. Then they returned to Lystra, Iconium, and Antioch,
22 ынтэринд суфлетеле ученичилор. Ел ый ындемна сэ стэруяскэ ын крединцэ ши спуня кэ ын Ымпэрэция луй Думнезеу требуе сэ интрэм прин мулте неказурь.
strengthening the souls of the disciples and encouraging them to continue in the faith. “We must endure many hardships to enter the kingdom of God,” they said.
23 Ау рындуит презбитерь ын фиекаре Бисерикэ ши, дупэ че с-ау ругат ши ау постит, й-ау ынкрединцат ын мына Домнулуй, ын каре крезусерэ.
Paul and Barnabas appointed elders for them in each church, praying and fasting as they entrusted them to the Lord, in whom they had believed.
24 Ау трекут апой прин Писидия, ау венит ын Памфилия,
After passing through Pisidia, they came to Pamphylia.
25 ау вестит Кувынтул ын Перга ши с-ау коборыт ла Аталия.
And when they had spoken the word in Perga, they went down to Attalia.
26 Де аколо ау мерс ку корабия ла Антиохия, де унде фусесерэ ынкрединцаць ын грижа харулуй луй Думнезеу пентру лукраря пе каре о сэвыршисерэ.
From Attalia they sailed to Antioch, where they had been commended to the grace of God for the work they had just completed.
27 Дупэ вениря лор, ау адунат Бисерика ши ау историсит тот че фэкусе Думнезеу прин ей ши кум дескисесе нямурилор уша крединцей.
When they arrived, they gathered the church together and reported all that God had done through them, and how He had opened the door of faith to the Gentiles.
28 Ши ау рэмас дестул де мултэ време аколо, ку ученичий.
And they spent a long time there with the disciples.
