2 Самуел 10
1 Дупэ ачея, ымпэратул фиилор луй Амон а мурит, ши ын локул луй а домнит фиул сэу Ханун.
It happened after this, that the king of the people of Ammon died, and Hanun his son reigned in his place.
2 Давид а зис: „Вой арэта бунэвоинцэ луй Ханун, фиул луй Нахаш, кум а арэтат ши татэл луй фацэ де мине.” Ши Давид а тримис пе служиторий сэй сэ-л мынгые пентру моартя татэлуй сэу. Кынд ау ажунс служиторий луй Давид ын цара фиилор луй Амон,
David said, "I will show kindness to Hanun the son of Nahash, as his father showed kindness to me." So David sent by his servants to comfort him concerning his father. David's servants came into the land of the people of Ammon.
3 кэпетенииле фиилор луй Амон ау зис стэпынулуй лор Ханун: „Крезь кэ Давид ыць тримите оамень сэ те мынгые, ка сэ чинстяскэ пе татэл тэу? Орь ка сэ куноаскэ ши сэ черчетезе четатя, ка с-о нимичяскэ ышь тримите ел служиторий ла тине?”
But the leaders of the people of Ammon said to Hanun their lord, "Do you think that David honors your father, in that he has sent comforters to you? Hasn't David sent his servants to you to search the city, and to spy it out, and to overthrow it?"
4 Атунч, Ханун а луат пе служиторий луй Давид, ле-а рас барба пе жумэтате ши ле-а тэят хайнеле пе жумэтате пынэ ла коапсе. Апой ле-а дат друмул.
So Hanun took David's servants and shaved off their beards, and cut off their garments in the middle, even to their buttocks, and sent them away.
5 Давид, ынштиинцат де лукрул ачеста, а тримис ниште оамень ынаинтя лор, кэч оамений ачея ерау фоарте батжокориць, ши ымпэратул а спус сэ ле спунэ: „Рэмынець ла Иерихон пынэ вэ ва креште барба ши пе урмэ сэ вэ ынтоарчець.”
When David was told, he sent to meet them; for the men were greatly ashamed. The king said, "Wait at Jericho until your beards have grown, and then return."
6 Фиий луй Амон, вэзынд кэ се фэкусерэ урыць луй Давид, ау токмит доуэзечь де мий де педештри де ла сириений дин Бет-Рехоб ши де ла сириений дин Цоба, о мие де оамень де ла ымпэратул дин Маака ши доуэспрезече мий де оамень де ла оамений дин Тоб.
When the people of Ammon saw that they were become odious to David, the people of Ammon sent and hired the Arameans of Beth Rehob, and the Arameans of Zobah, twenty thousand footmen, and the king of Maacah with one thousand men, and the men of Tob twelve thousand men.
7 Ла аузул ачестей вешть, Давид а тримис ымпотрива лор пе Иоаб ши тоатэ оштиря, нумай оамень витежь.
When David heard of it, he sent Joab, and all the army of the mighty men.
8 Фиий луй Амон ау ешит ши с-ау ашезат ын ширурь де бэтае ла интраря порций; сириений дин Цоба ши дин Рехоб ши оамений дин Тоб ши дин Маака ерау деопарте, ын кымпие.
The people of Ammon came out, and put the battle in array at the entrance of the gate: and the Arameans of Zobah and of Rehob, and the men of Tob and Maacah, were by themselves in the field.
9 Иоаб а вэзут кэ авя сэ лупте ши ынаинте, ши ынапой. А алес атунч дин тоць алеший луй Исраел о чатэ, пе каре а ашезат-о ымпотрива сириенилор,
Now when Joab saw that the battle was set against him before and behind, he chose of all the choice men of Israel, and put them in array against the Arameans:
10 ши а пус суб порунка фрателуй сэу Абишай че май рэмэсесе дин попор, ка сэ цинэ пепт фиилор луй Амон.
The rest of the people he committed into the hand of Abishai his brother; and he put them in array against the people of Ammon.
11 Ел а зис: „Дакэ сириений вор фи май тарь декыт мине, сэ вий ын ажуторул меу; ши дакэ фиий луй Амон вор фи май тарь декыт тине, вой вени еу сэ те ажут.
He said, "If the Arameans are too strong for me, then you shall help me; but if the people of Ammon are too strong for you, then I will come and help you.
12 Фий таре ши сэ не арэтэм плинь де бэрбэцие пентру попорул ностру ши пентру четэциле Думнезеулуй ностру, ши Домнул сэ факэ че ва креде!”
Be courageous, and let us be strong for our people, and for the cities of our God; and YHWH do that which seems good to him."
13 Иоаб, ку попорул луй, а ынаинтат ла луптэ ымпотрива сириенилор, ши ей ау луат-о ла фугэ динаинтя луй.
So Joab and the people who were with him drew near to the battle against the Arameans: and they fled before him.
14 Ши кынд ау вэзут фиий луй Амон кэ сириений о луасерэ ла фугэ, ау фуӂит ши ей динаинтя луй Абишай ши ау интрат ын четате. Иоаб а плекат де ла фиий луй Амон ши с-а ынторс ла Иерусалим.
When the people of Ammon saw that the Arameans had fled, they likewise fled before Abishai, and entered into the city. Then Joab returned from the people of Ammon, and came to Jerusalem.
15 Сириений, вэзынд кэ фусесерэ бэтуць де Исраел, шь-ау стрынс путериле.
When the Arameans saw that they were defeated by the children of Israel, they gathered themselves together.
16 Хададезер а тримис дупэ сириений каре ерау де чялалтэ парте а рыулуй ши ау венит ла Хелам, ын фрунте ку Шобак, кэпетения оштирий луй Хададезер.
Hadadezer sent, and brought out the Arameans who were beyond the River: and they came to Helam, with Shobach the captain of the army of Hadadezer at their head.
17 Ау дат де весте луй Давид, каре а стрынс тот Исраелул, а трекут Йорданул ши а венит ла Хелам: сириений с-ау прегэтит де ау ешит ынаинтя луй Давид ши ау ынчепут лупта ку ел.
It was told David; and he gathered all Israel together, and passed over the Jordan, and came to Helam. The Arameans set themselves in array against David, and fought with him,
18 Дар сириений ау фуӂит динаинтя луй Исраел. Ши Давид ле-а тэят шапте суте де кай де трэсурэ ши патрузечь де мий де кэлэрець; а ловит ши пе кэпетения оштирий лор Шобак, каре а мурит пе лок.
but fled before Israel; and David killed of the Arameans seven hundred charioteers, and forty thousand foot soldiers, and struck Shobach the commander of their army, and he died there.
19 Тоць ымпэраций супушь луй Хадарезер, вэзынду-се бэтуць де Исраел, ау фэкут паче ку Исраел ши и с-ау супус. Ши сириений н-ау май ындрэзнит сэ ажуте пе фиий луй Амон.
When all the vassals of Hadadezer saw that they were defeated before Israel, they made peace with Israel, and served them. So the Arameans were afraid to give further aid to the Ammonites.
