2 Самуел 1
1 Дупэ моартя луй Саул, Давид, дупэ че бэтусе пе амалечиць, се ынторсесе де доуэ зиле ла Циклаг.
And it came to pass after the death of Saul, when David was returned from the slaughter of the Amalekites, and David had abode two days in Ziklag,
2 А трея зи, а венит ун ом дин табэра луй Саул, ку хайнеле сфышияте ши ку капул пресэрат ку цэрынэ. Кынд а ажунс ын фаца луй Давид, с-а арункат ку фаца ла пэмынт ши с-а ынкинат.
it came to pass on the third day, that, behold, a man came out of the camp from Saul with his clothes torn, and earth upon his head. And so it was, when he came to David, that he fell to the ground, and did obeisance.
3 Давид й-а зис: „Де унде вий?” Ши ел й-а рэспунс: „Ам скэпат дин табэра луй Исраел.”
And David said to him, From where did thou come? And he said to him, I escaped out of the camp of Israel.
4 Давид й-а зис: „Спуне-мь че с-а ынтымплат?” Ши ел а рэспунс: „Попорул а фуӂит де пе кымпул де бэтае ши ун маре нумэр де оамень ау кэзут ши ау перит; кяр ши Саул ши фиул сэу Ионатан ау мурит.”
And David said to him, How did the matter go? I pray thee, tell me. And he answered, The people are fled from the battle, and many of the people also are fallen and dead, and Saul and Jonathan his son are also dead.
5 Давид а зис тынэрулуй каре-й адучя ачесте вешть: „Де унде штий кэ Саул ши фиул сэу Ионатан ау мурит?”
And David said to the young man who told him, How do thou know that Saul and Jonathan his son are dead?
6 Ши тынэрул каре-й адучя ачесте вешть а рэспунс: „Ам венит дин ынтымпларе пе мунтеле Гилбоа ши Саул стэтя реземат ын сулица луй, ши кареле ши кэлэреций ерау апроапе сэ-л ажунгэ.
And the young man who told him said, As I happened by chance upon mount Gilboa, behold, Saul was leaning upon his spear, and, lo, the chariots and the horsemen followed close after him.
7 Ынторкынду-се, м-а вэзут ши м-а кемат. Еу ам зис: ‘Ятэ-мэ!’
And when he looked behind him, he saw me, and called to me. And I answered, Here I am.
8 Ши ел мь-а зис: ‘Чине ешть?’ Й-ам рэспунс: ‘Еу сунт амалечит.’
And he said to me, Who are thou? And I answered him, I am an Amalekite.
9 Ши а зис: ‘Апропие-те дар ши омоарэ-мэ, кэч м-а апукат амецяла, мэкар кэ сунт ынкэ плин де вяцэ.’
And he said to me, Stand, I pray thee, beside me, and kill me, for anguish has taken hold of me, because my life is yet whole in me.
10 М-ам апропият де ел ши л-ам оморыт, штиинд бине кэ н-авя сэ май рэмынэ ку вяцэ ын урма ынфрынӂерий. Ам луат кунуна ымпэрэтяскэ де пе капул луй ши брэцара пе каре о авя ла брац ши ле-ам адус аич, домнулуй меу.”
So I stood beside him and killed him, because I was sure that he could not live after he was fallen. And I took the crown that was upon his head, and the bracelet that was on his arm, and have brought them here to my lord.
11 Давид шь-а апукат хайнеле ши ле-а сфышият ши тоць оамений каре ерау лынгэ ел ау фэкут ачелашь лукру.
Then David took hold on his clothes, and tore them, and likewise all the men who were with him.
12 Ау желит, ау плынс ши ау постит пынэ сяра де дурере пентру Саул, пентру фиул сэу Ионатан, пентру попорул Домнулуй, фииндкэ фусесерэ тэяць ку сабия.
And they mourned, and wept, and fasted until evening, for Saul, and for Jonathan his son, and for the people of Jehovah, and for the house of Israel, because they were fallen by the sword.
13 Давид а зис тынэрулуй каре-й адусесе ачесте вешть: „Де унде ешть?” Ши ел а рэспунс: „Сунт фиул унуй стрэин, ал унуй амалечит.”
And David said to the young man who told him, From where are thou? And he answered, I am the son of a sojourner, an Amalekite.
14 Давид й-а зис: „Кум ну ць-а фост фрикэ сэ пуй мына пе унсул Домнулуй ши сэ-л оморь?”
And David said to him, Why were thou not afraid to put forth thy hand to destroy Jehovah's anointed?
15 Ши Давид а кемат пе унул дин оамений луй ши а зис: „Апропие-те ши омоарэ-л!” Омул ачела а ловит пе амалечит, каре а мурит.
And David called one of the young men, and said, Go near, and fall upon him. And he smote him so that he died.
16 Ши Давид й-а зис: „Сынӂеле тэу сэ кадэ асупра капулуй тэу, кэч гура та а мэртурисит ымпотрива та, фииндкэ ай зис: ‘Ам оморыт пе унсул Домнулуй!’”
And David said to him, Thy blood be upon thy head, for thy mouth has testified against thee, saying, I have slain Jehovah's anointed.
17 Ятэ кынтаря де жале пе каре а алкэтуит-о Давид пентру Саул ши фиул сэу Ионатан
And David lamented with this lamentation over Saul and over Jonathan his son
18 ши пе каре а порунчит с-о ынвеце копиий луй Иуда. Есте нумитэ ши се афлэ скрисэ ын.
(and he bade them teach the sons of Judah the song of the bow; behold, it is written in the book of Jashar):
19 „Фала та, Исраеле, заче учисэ пе дялуриле тале! Кум ау кэзут витежий!
Thy glory, O Israel, is slain upon thy high places! How are the mighty fallen!
20 Ну спунець лукрул ачеста ын Гат, ну рэспындиць вестя ачаста ын улицеле Аскалонулуй, ка сэ ну се букуре фетеле филистенилор, ка сэ ну се лауде фетеле челор нетэяць ымпрежур.
Tell it not in Gath, publish it not in the streets of Ashkelon, lest the daughters of the Philistines rejoice, lest the daughters of the uncircumcised triumph.
21 Мунць дин Гилбоа! Нич роуэ, нич плоае сэ ну кадэ пе вой! Сэ ну фие пе вой нич кымпий каре сэ дя пыргэ пентру даруриле де мынкаре! Кэч аколо ау фост арункате скутуриле витежилор, скутул луй Саул, ка ши кынд н-ар фи фост унс ку унтделемн.
Ye mountains of Gilboa, let there be no dew nor rain upon you, neither fields of offerings, for there the shield of the mighty was vilely cast away, the shield of Saul, not anointed with oil.
22 Де ла сынӂеле челор рэниць, де ла грэсимя челор май войничь, аркул луй Ионатан ну да ынапой ничодатэ ши сабия луй Саул ну се ынвыртя ничодатэ ын вынт.
From the blood of the slain, from the fat of the mighty, the bow of Jonathan turned not back, and the sword of Saul returned not empty.
23 Саул ши Ионатан, каре с-ау плэкут ши с-ау юбит ын тимпул веций лор, н-ау фост деспэрциць нич ла моарте; ерау май ушорь декыт вултурий, май тарь декыт леий.
Saul and Jonathan, men who were loved and pleasant, undivided; comely in their lives, and undivided in their death; swifter than eagles, they were stronger than lions.
24 Фийчеле луй Исраел, плынӂець пе Саул, каре вэ ымбрэка ын стакожиу ши алте подоабе, каре вэ пуня гэтель де аур пе хайнеле воастре!
Ye daughters of Israel, weep over Saul, who clothed you delicately in scarlet, who put ornaments of gold upon your apparel.
25 Кум ау кэзут витежий ын мижлокул луптей! Кум а мурит Ионатан пе дялуриле тале!
How are the mighty fallen in the midst of the battle! Jonathan is slain upon thy high places.
26 Мэ доаре дупэ тине, фрате Ионатане! Ту ерай плэчеря мя; драгостя та пентру мине ера минунатэ, май пресус де драгостя фемеяскэ.
I am distressed for thee, my brother Jonathan. Very pleasant thou have been to me. Thy love to me was wonderful, exceeding the love of women.
27 Кум ау кэзут витежий! Кум ли с-ау пердут армеле!”
How are the mighty fallen, and the weapons of war perished!
