1 Пряюбицилор, ачаста есте а доуа епистолэ пе каре в-о скриу. Ын амындоуэ, каут сэ вэ трезеск минтя сэнэтоасэ прин ынштиинцэрь,
Beloved, this is now the second letter that I am writing to you. In both of them I have tried to stir up your sincere mind by way of reminder,
2 ка сэ вэ фак сэ вэ адучець аминте де лукруриле вестите май динаинте де сфинций пророчь ши де порунка Домнулуй ши Мынтуиторулуй ностру, датэ прин апостолий воштри.
so that you remember the words spoken in the past by the holy prophets and the commandment of our Lord and Savior given through your apostles.
3 Ынаинте де тоате, сэ штиць кэ ын зилеле дин урмэ вор вени батжокориторь плинь де батжокурь, каре вор трэи дупэ пофтеле лор
First of all, you must understand that scoffers will come in the last days, walking according to their own lusts.
4 ши вор зиче: „Унде есте фэгэдуинца венирий Луй? Кэч де кынд ау адормит пэринций ноштри, тоате рэмын аша кум ерау де ла ынчепутул зидирий!”
They will say, “Where is the promise of his coming? For ever since the fathers fell asleep, everything continues as it has since the beginning of creation.”
5 Кэч ынадинс се фак кэ ну штиу кэ одиниоарэ ерау черурь ши ун пэмынт скос прин Кувынтул луй Думнезеу дин апэ ши ку ажуторул апей
They deliberately overlook the fact that by the word of God the heavens came into being long ago and the earth emerged through the water and was separated from the water.
6 ши кэ лумя де атунч а перит тот прин еле, ынекатэ де апэ.
And by the water and the word, the world of that time was deluged and destroyed.
7 Яр черуриле ши пэмынтул де акум сунт пэзите ши пэстрате, прин ачелашь Кувынт, пентру фокул дин зиуа де жудекатэ ши де пеире а оаменилор нелеӂюиць.
Furthermore, by his word the heavens and the earth that now exist have been reserved for fire, being kept until the day of judgment and the destruction of the ungodly.
8 Дар, пряюбицилор, сэ ну уйтаць ун лукру: кэ, пентру Домнул, о зи есте ка о мие де ань, ши о мие де ань сунт ка о зи.
But do not overlook this one fact, beloved, that with the Lord one day is like a thousand years, and a thousand years are like one day.
9 Домнул ну ынтырзие ын ымплиниря фэгэдуинцей Луй, кум кред уний, чи аре о ынделунгэ рэбдаре пентру вой ши дореште ка ничунул сэ ну пярэ, чи тоць сэ винэ ла покэинцэ.
The Lord is not slow in keeping his promise, as some understand slowness, but is patient toward us, not wishing that any should perish but that all should come to repentance.
10 Зиуа Домнулуй ынсэ ва вени ка ун хоц. Ын зиуа ачея, черуриле вор трече ку троснет, трупуриле черешть се вор топи де маре кэлдурэ ши пэмынтул, ку тот че есте пе ел, ва арде.
But the day of the Lord will come like a thief in the night. On that day the heavens will pass away with a roar, the elements will be destroyed with intense heat, and the earth and its works will be burned up.
11 Деч, фииндкэ тоате ачесте лукрурь ау сэ се стриче, че фел де оамень ар требуи сэ фиць вой, принтр-о пуртаре сфынтэ ши евлавиоасэ,
Therefore, since all these things will be destroyed, what sort of people ought you to be? You ought to conduct yourselves in holiness and godliness,
12 аштептынд ши грэбинд вениря зилей луй Думнезеу, ын каре черуриле апринсе вор пери ши трупуриле черешть се вор топи де кэлдура фокулуй?
waiting for and hastening the coming of the day of God. On that day the heavens will be set on fire and destroyed, and the elements will melt in the intense heat.
13 Дар ной, дупэ фэгэдуинца Луй, аштептэм черурь ной ши ун пэмынт ноу, ын каре ва локуи неприхэниря.
But, according to his promise, we wait for new heavens and a new earth, where righteousness dwells.
14 Де ачея, пряюбицилор, фииндкэ аштептаць ачесте лукрурь, силици-вэ сэ фиць гэсиць ынаинтя Луй фэрэ приханэ, фэрэ винэ ши ын паче.
Therefore, beloved, as you wait for these things, be diligent to be found at peace, spotless and blameless in his sight.
15 Сэ кредець кэ ынделунга рэбдаре а Домнулуй ностру есте мынтуире, кум в-а скрис ши пряюбитул ностру фрате Павел, дупэ ынцелепчуня датэ луй,
And count the patience of our Lord as salvation, just as our beloved brother Paul has written to you according to the wisdom given to him.
16 ка ши ын тоате епистолеле луй, кынд ворбеште деспре лукруриле ачестя. Ын еле сунт унеле лукрурь греу де ынцелес, пе каре чей нештиуторь ши нестаторничь ле рэстэлмэческ ка ши пе челелалте Скриптурь, спре перзаря лор.
He speaks about these things in all his letters. Some of the things he says are hard to understand, which ignorant and unstable people twist to their own destruction, just as they do with the other Scriptures.
17 Вой деч, пряюбицилор, штиинд май динаинте ачесте лукрурь, пэзици-вэ, ка ну кумва сэ вэ лэсаць тырыць де рэтэчиря ачестор нелеӂюиць ши сэ вэ пердець тэрия,
Therefore, beloved, since you have been forewarned, be on your guard so that you will not be led astray by the error of these lawless men and fall from your own secure position.
