2 Ымпэрацилор 3
1 Иорам, фиул луй Ахаб, а ынчепут сэ домняскэ песте Исраел ла Самария, ын ал оптспрезечеля ан ал луй Иосафат, ымпэратул луй Иуда. А домнит дойспрезече ань.
And Jehoram the son of Ahab began to reign over Israel in Samaria in the eighteenth year of Jehoshaphat king of Judah; and he reigned twelve years.
2 Ел а фэкут че есте рэу ынаинтя Домнулуй, тотушь ну ка татэл сэу ши ка мама са. А рэстурнат стылпий луй Баал пе каре-й фэкусе татэл сэу,
And he wrought evil in the sight of Jehovah, but not like his father, and like his mother; and he took away the column of Baal that his father had made.
3 дар с-а дедат ла пэкателе луй Иеробоам, фиул луй Небат, каре фэкусе пе Исраел сэ пэкэтуяскэ, ши ну с-а абэтут де ла еле.
Only, he clave to the sins of Jeroboam the son of Nebat who made Israel to sin: he did not depart therefrom.
4 Меша, ымпэратул Моабулуй, авя турме марь ши плэтя ымпэратулуй луй Исраел ун бир де о сутэ де мий де мей ши о сутэ де мий де бербечь ку лына лор.
And Mesha king of Moab was a sheepmaster, and rendered to the king of Israel a hundred thousand lambs and a hundred thousand rams, with the wool.
5 Ла моартя луй Ахаб, ымпэратул Моабулуй с-а рэскулат ымпотрива ымпэратулуй луй Исраел.
And it came to pass when Ahab was dead, that the king of Moab rebelled against the king of Israel.
6 Ымпэратул Иорам а ешит атунч дин Самария ши а нумэрат пе тот Исраелул.
And at that time king Jehoram went out of Samaria and inspected all Israel.
7 А порнит ши а тримис сэ спунэ луй Иосафат, ымпэратул луй Иуда: „Ымпэратул Моабулуй с-а рэскулат ымпотрива мя. Врей сэ вий ку мине сэ луптэм ымпотрива Моабулуй?” Иосафат а рэспунс: „Вой мерӂе, еу ка тине, попорул меу ка попорул тэу, каий мей ка ай тэй.”
And he went and sent to Jehoshaphat the king of Judah saying, The king of Moab has rebelled against me: wilt thou go with me against Moab to battle? And he said, I will go up: I am as thou, my people as thy people, my horses as thy horses.
8 Ши а зис: „Пе каре друм сэ не суим?” Иорам а зис: „Пе друмул каре дуче ын Пустиул Едомулуй.”
And he said, Which way shall we go up? And he said, By way of the wilderness of Edom.
9 Ымпэратул луй Исраел, ымпэратул луй Иуда ши ымпэратул Едомулуй ау плекат ши, дупэ ун друм де шапте зиле, н-ау авут апэ пентру оштире ши пентру вителе каре веняу дупэ еа.
And the king of Israel went, and the king of Judah, and the king of Edom, and they made a circuit of seven days' journey. And there was no water for the army, and for the cattle that followed them.
10 Атунч, ымпэратул луй Исраел а зис: „Вай! Домнул а кемат пе ачешть трей ымпэраць ка сэ-й дя ын мыниле Моабулуй!”
And the king of Israel said, Alas! that Jehovah has called these three kings together, to give them into the hand of Moab!
11 Дар Иосафат а зис: „Ну есте аич ничун пророк ал Домнулуй, прин каре сэ путем ынтреба пе Домнул?” Унул дин служиторий ымпэратулуй луй Исраел а рэспунс: „Есте аич Елисей, фиул луй Шафат, каре турна апэ пе мыниле луй Илие.”
And Jehoshaphat said, Is there not here a prophet of Jehovah that we may inquire of Jehovah by him? And one of the king of Israel's servants answered and said, Here is Elisha the son of Shaphat, who poured water on the hands of Elijah.
12 Ши Иосафат а зис: „Кувынтул Домнулуй есте ку ел.” Ымпэратул луй Исраел, Иосафат, ши ымпэратул Едомулуй с-ау коборыт ла ел.
And Jehoshaphat said, The word of Jehovah is with him. And the king of Israel and Jehoshaphat and the king of Edom went down to him.
13 Елисей а зис ымпэратулуй луй Исраел: „Че ам еу а фаче ку тине? Ду-те ла пророчий татэлуй тэу ши ла пророчий мамей тале.” Ши ымпэратул луй Исраел й-а зис: „Ну, кэч Домнул а кемат пе ачешть трей ымпэраць ка сэ-й дя ын мыниле Моабулуй!”
And Elisha said to the king of Israel, What have I to do with thee? go to the prophets of thy father and to the prophets of thy mother. And the king of Israel said to him, Not so, for Jehovah has called these three kings to give them into the hand of Moab.
14 Елисей а зис: „Виу есте Домнул оштирилор, ал кэруй служитор сунт, кэ, дакэ н-аш авя ын ведере пе Иосафат, ымпэратул луй Иуда, пе тине ну те-аш бэга делок ын сямэ ши нич ну м-аш уйта ла тине.
And Elisha said, As Jehovah of hosts liveth, before whom I stand, surely, were it not that I regard the presence of Jehoshaphat the king of Judah, I would not look toward thee nor see thee.
15 Акум адучеци-мь ун кынтэрец ку харпа.” Ши, пе кынд кынта кынтэрецул дин харпэ, мына Домнулуй а фост песте Елисей.
And now fetch me a minstrel. And it came to pass when the minstrel played, that the hand of Jehovah was upon him.
16 Ши а зис: „Аша ворбеште Домнул: ‘Фачець гропь ын валя ачаста, гроапэ лынгэ гроапэ!’
And he said, Thus saith Jehovah: Make this valley full of ditches.
17 Кэч аша ворбеште Домнул: ‘Ну вець ведя вынт ши ну вець ведя плоае, дар тотушь валя ачаста се ва умпле де апэ ши вець бя вой, турмеле воастре ши вителе воастре.’
For thus saith Jehovah: Ye shall not see wind, neither shall ye see rain; yet this valley shall be filled with water, and ye shall drink, both ye, and your cattle, and your beasts.
18 Дар ачаста есте пуцин лукру ынаинтя Домнулуй. Ел ва да пе Моаб ын мыниле воастре;
And this is a light thing in the sight of Jehovah: he will give the Moabites also into your hand.
19 вець сфэрыма тоате четэциле ынтэрите ши тоате четэциле алесе, вець тэя тоць копачий чей бунь, вець аступа тоате извоареле де апэ ши вець стрика ку петре тоате огоареле челе май буне.”
And ye shall smite every fortified city, and every choice city, and shall fell every good tree, and stop all wells of water, and mar every good piece of land with stones.
20 Ши диминяца, ын клипа кынд се адучя жертфа, ятэ кэ а венит апа де пе друмул Едомулуй ши с-а умплут цара де апэ.
And it came to pass in the morning, when the oblation was offered up, that behold, there came water by the way of Edom, and the country was filled with water.
21 Ынсэ тоць моабиций, аузинд кэ ымпэраций се суе сэ лупте ымпотрива лор, ау кемат пе тоць чей ын вырстэ сэ поарте армеле, ши май марь кяр, ши ау стат ла хотар.
And all the Moabites heard that the kings were come up to fight against them, and they were called together, all that were able to put on armour, and upward, and stood by the border.
22 С-ау скулат дис-де-диминяцэ ши, кынд а стрэлучит соареле песте апе, моабиций ау вэзут ын фаца лор апеле роший ка сынӂеле.
And they rose up early in the morning, and the sun rose upon the water, and the Moabites saw the water on the other side red as blood.
23 Ей ау зис: „Есте сынӂе! Ымпэраций ау скос сабия ынтре ей, с-ау тэят уний пе алций. Акум, ла прадэ, моабиць!”
And they said, This is blood: the kings are entirely destroyed, and have smitten one another; and now, Moab, to the spoil!
24 Ши ау мерс ымпотрива таберей луй Исраел. Дар Исраел с-а скулат ши а бэтут пе Моаб, каре а луат-о ла фугэ динаинтя лор. Ау пэтрунс ын царэ ши ау бэтут пе Моаб.
And when they came to the camp of Israel, the Israelites rose up and smote the Moabites, and they fled before them; and they entered in and smote Moab.
25 Ау сфэрымат четэциле, ау арункат, фиекаре, петре ын тоате огоареле челе май буне ши ле-ау умплут ку петре, ау аступат тоате извоареле де апэ ши ау тэят тоць копачий чей бунь; прэштиаший ау ынконжурат ши ау бэтут Кир-Харесетул, дин каре н-ау лэсат декыт петреле.
And they beat down the cities, and on every good piece of land cast every man his stone and filled it, and they stopped every well of water, and felled every good tree, until they left [only] the stones at Kirhareseth; and the slingers went about it, and smote it.
26 Ымпэратул Моабулуй, вэзынд кэ фусесе ынфрынт ын луптэ, а луат ку ел шапте суте де оамень каре скотяу сабия сэ-шь крояскэ друм пынэ ла ымпэратул Едомулуй, дар н-ау путут.
And the king of Moab saw that the battle was too severe for him, and he took with him seven hundred men that drew swords, to break through to the king of Edom, but they could not.
27 А луат атунч пе фиул сэу ынтый нэскут, каре требуя сэ домняскэ ын локул луй, ши л-а адус ка ардере-де-тот пе зид. Ши о маре мыние а купринс пе Исраел, каре с-а депэртат де ымпэратул Моабулуй ши с-а ынторс ын царэ.
And he took his eldest son, that should have reigned in his stead, and offered him up for a burnt-offering upon the wall. And there was great wrath against Israel; and they departed from him, and returned to [their own] land.
