2 Ымпэрацилор 18
1 Ын ал трейля ан ал луй Осея, фиул луй Ела, ымпэратул луй Исраел, а ынчепут сэ домняскэ Езекия, фиул луй Ахаз, ымпэратул луй Иуда.
Now it came to pass in the third year of Hoshea son of Elah king of Israel, that Hezekiah the son of Ahaz king of Judah began to reign.
2 Авя доуэзечь ши чинч де ань кынд а ажунс ымпэрат ши а домнит доуэзечь ши ноуэ де ань ла Иерусалим. Мама са се кема Аби, фата луй Захария.
Twenty and five years old was he when he began to reign; and he reigned twenty and nine years in Jerusalem: and his mother’s name was Abi the daughter of Zechariah.
3 Ел а фэкут че есте плэкут ынаинтя Домнулуй, ынтокмай кум фэкусе татэл сэу Давид.
And he did that which was right hi the eyes of the LORD, according to all that David his father had done.
4 А ындепэртат ынэлцимиле, а сфэрымат стылпий идолешть, а тэят астартееле ши а сфэрымат ын букэць шарпеле де арамэ пе каре-л фэкусе Мойсе, кэч копиий луй Исраел арсесерэ пынэ атунч тэмые ынаинтя луй: ыл нумяу Нехуштан.
He removed the high places, and brake the pillars, and cut down the Asherah: And he brake in pieces the brasen serpent that Moses had made; for unto those days the children of Israel did burn incense to it; and he called it Nehushtan.
5 Ел шь-а пус ынкредеря ын Домнул Думнезеул луй Исраел; ши, динтре тоць ымпэраций луй Иуда каре ау венит дупэ ел сау каре ау фост ынаинте де ел, н-а фост ничунул ка ел.
He trusted in the LORD, the God of Israel; so that after him was none like him among all the kings of Judah, nor [among them] that were before him.
6 Ел с-а алипит де Домнул, ну с-а абэтут де ла Ел ши а пэзит порунчиле пе каре ле дэдусе луй Мойсе Домнул.
For he clave to the LORD, he departed not from following him, but kept his commandments, which the LORD commanded Moses.
7 Ши Домнул а фост ку Езекия, каре а избутит ын тот че а фэкут. Ел с-а рэскулат ымпотрива ымпэратулуй Асирией ши ну й-а май фост супус.
And the LORD was with him; whithersoever he went forth he prospered: and he rebelled against the king of Assyria, and served him not.
8 А бэтут пе филистень пынэ ла Газа ши ле-а пустиит цинутул, де ла тоате турнуриле де пазэ пынэ ла четэциле ынтэрите.
He smote the Philistines unto Gaza and the borders thereof, from the tower of the watchmen to the fenced city.
9 Ын ал патруля ан ал ымпэратулуй Езекия, каре ера ал шаптеля ан ал луй Осея, фиул луй Ела, ымпэратул луй Исраел, Салманасар, ымпэратул Асирией, с-а суит ымпотрива Самарией ши а ымпресурат-о.
And it came to pass in the fourth year of king Hezekiah, which was the seventh year of Hoshea son of Elah king of Israel, that Shalmaneser king of Assyria came up against Samaria, and besieged it.
10 Дупэ трей ань а луат-о, ын ал шаселя ан ал луй Езекия, каре ера ал ноуэля ан ал луй Осея, ымпэратул луй Исраел – атунч а фост луатэ Самария.
And at the end of three years they took it: even in the sixth year of Hezekiah, which was the ninth year of Hoshea king of Israel, Samaria was taken.
11 Ымпэратул Асирией а дус пе Исраел роб ын Асирия ши л-а ашезат ла Халах ши Хабор, лынгэ рыул Гозан, ши ын четэциле мезилор,
And the king of Assyria carried Israel away unto Assyria, and put them in Halah, and in Habor, [on] the river of Gozan, and in the cities of the Medes:
12 пентру кэ н-аскултасерэ де гласул Домнулуй Думнезеулуй лор ши кэлкасерэ легэмынтул Луй; пентру кэ нич н-аскултасерэ, нич ну ымплинисерэ тот че порунчисе Мойсе, робул Домнулуй.
because they obeyed not the voice of the LORD their God, but transgressed his covenant, even all that Moses the servant of the LORD commanded, and would not hear it, nor do it.
13 Ын ал пайспрезечеля ан ал ымпэратулуй Езекия, Санхериб, ымпэратул Асирией, с-а суит ымпотрива тутурор четэцилор ынтэрите дин Иуда ши а пус стэпынире пе еле.
Now in the fourteenth year of king Hezekiah did Sennacherib king of Assyria come up against all the fenced cities of Judah, and took them.
14 Езекия, ымпэратул луй Иуда, а тримис сэ спунэ ымпэратулуй Асирией ла Лакис: „Ам грешит! Депэртязэ-те де мине. Че вей пуне асупра мя, вой пурта.” Ши ымпэратул Асирией а черут луй Езекия, ымпэратул луй Иуда, трей суте де таланць де арӂинт ши трейзечь де таланць де аур.
And Hezekiah king of Judah sent to the king of Assyria to Lachish, saying, I have offended; return from me: that which thou puttest on me will I bear. And the king of Assyria appointed unto Hezekiah king of Judah three hundred talents of silver and thirty talents of gold.
15 Езекия а дат тот арӂинтул каре се афла ын Каса Домнулуй ши ын вистиерииле касей ымпэратулуй.
And Hezekiah gave [him] all the silver that was found in the house of the LORD, and in the treasures of the king’s house.
16 Атунч а луат Езекия, ымпэратул луй Иуда, ши а дат ымпэратулуй Асирией аурул ку каре акоперисе ушиле ши ушорий Темплулуй Домнулуй.
At that time did Hezekiah cut off [the gold from] the doors of the temple of the LORD, and [from] the pillars which Hezekiah king of Judah had overlaid, and gave it to the king of Assyria.
17 Ымпэратул Асирией а тримис дин Лакис ла Иерусалим, ла ымпэратул Езекия, пе Тартан, пе Раб-Сарис ши пе Рабшаке ку о оштире путерникэ. С-ау суит ши ау ажунс ла Иерусалим. Кынд с-ау суит ши ау ажунс, с-ау оприт ла каналул де апэ ал язулуй де сус, пе друмул каре дуче ын огорул ынэлбиторулуй.
And the king of Assyria sent Tartan and Rab-saris and Rabshakeh from Lachish to king Hezekiah with a great army unto Jerusalem. And they went up and came to Jerusalem. And when they were come up, they came and stood by the conduit of the upper pool, which is in the highway of the fuller’s field.
18 Ау кемат пе ымпэрат, ши Елиаким, фиул луй Хилкия, май-мареле песте каса ымпэратулуй, с-а дус ла ей ку Шебна, логофэтул, ши ку Иоах, фиул луй Асаф, архиварул.
And when they had called to the king, there came out to them Eliakim the son of Hilkiah, which was over the household, and Shebnah the scribe, and Joah the son of Asaph the recorder.
19 Рабшаке ле-а зис: „Спунець луй Езекия: ‘Аша ворбеште мареле ымпэрат, ымпэратул Асирией: «Че есте ынкредеря ачаста пе каре те бизуешть?
And Rabshakeh said unto them, Say ye now to Hezekiah, Thus saith the great king, the king of Assyria, What confidence is this wherein thou trustest?
20 Ту ай зис: ‹Пентру рэзбой требуе кибзуинцэ ши путере.› Дар ачестя сунт доар ворбе ын вынт. Ын чине дар ць-ай пус ынкредеря де те-ай рэскулат ымпотрива мя?
Thou sayest, but they are but vain words, [There is] counsel and strength for the war. Now on whom dost thou trust, that thou hast rebelled against me?
21 Ятэ, ай пус-о ын Еӂипт, ай луат ын ажутор трестия ачея фрынтэ, каре ынцяпэ ши стрэпунӂе мына орькуй се сприжинэ пе еа: аша есте Фараон, ымпэратул Еӂиптулуй, пентру тоць чей че се ынкред ын ел.
Now, behold, thou trustest upon the staff of this bruised reed, even upon Egypt; whereon if a man lean, it will go into his hand, and pierce it: so is Pharaoh king of Egypt unto all that trust on him.
22 Поате кэ ымь вець спуне: ‹Ын Домнул Думнезеул ностру не ынкредем.› Дар ну есте Ел Ачела але кэруй ынэлцимь ши алтаре ле-а ындепэртат Езекия, зикынд луй Иуда ши Иерусалимулуй: ‹Сэ вэ ынкинаць ынаинтя алтарулуй ачестуя ла Иерусалим›?»’
But if ye say unto me, We trust in the LORD our God: is not that he, whose high places and whose altars Hezekiah hath taken away, and hath said to Judah and to Jerusalem, Ye shall worship before this altar in Jerusalem?
23 Акум фэ о ынвоялэ ку стэпынул меу, ымпэратул Асирией: ыць вой да доуэ мий де кай, сэ ведем дакэ поць дин партя та сэ дай атыця кэлэрець ка сэ ынкалече пе ей.
Now therefore, I pray thee, give pledges to my master the king of Assyria, and I will give thee two thousand horses, if thou be able on thy part to set riders upon them.
24 Ши кум ай путя ындепэрта о кэпетение дин чей май мичь служиторь ай стэпынулуй меу? Ыць пуй ынкредеря ын Еӂипт пентру каре ши кэлэрець.
How then canst thou turn away the face of one captain of the least of my master’s servants, and put thy trust on Egypt for chariots and for horsemen?
25 Де алтфел, оаре фэрэ воя Домнулуй м-ам суит еу ымпотрива ачестуй лок, ка сэ-л нимическ? Домнул мь-а зис: ‘Суе-те ымпотрива цэрий ачестея ши нимичеште-о.’”
Am I now come up without the LORD against this place to destroy it? The LORD said unto me, Go up against this land, and destroy it.
26 Елиаким, фиул луй Хилкия, Шебна ши Иоах ау зис луй Рабшаке: „Ворбеште робилор тэй ын лимба арамаикэ, фииндкэ о ынцелеӂем; ну не ворби ын лимба иудаикэ, ын аузул попорулуй де пе зид.”
Then said Eliakim the son of Hilkiah, and Shebnah, and Joah, unto Rabshakeh, Speak, I pray thee, to thy servants in the Syrian language; for we understand it: and speak not with us in the Jews’ language, in the ears of the people that are on the wall.
27 Рабшаке ле-а рэспунс: „Оаре стэпынулуй тэу ши цие м-а тримис стэпынул меу сэ спун ачесте ворбе? Оаре ну ачестор оамень каре стау пе зид сэ-шь мэнынче балега ши сэ-шь бя удул ку вой?”
But Rabshakeh said unto them, Hath my master sent me to thy master, and to thee, to speak these words? [hath he not sent me] to the men which sit on the wall, to eat their own dung, and to drink their own water with you?
28 Атунч, Рабшаке, ынаинтынд, а стригат ку глас таре ын лимба иудаикэ ши а зис: „Аскултаць кувынтул марелуй ымпэрат, ымпэратул Асирией!
Then Rabshakeh stood, and cried with a loud voice in the Jews’ language, and spake, saying, Hear ye the word of the great king, the king of Assyria.
29 Аша ворбеште ымпэратул: ‘Сэ ну вэ ыншеле Езекия, кэч ну ва путя сэ вэ избэвяскэ дин мына мя.
Thus saith the king, Let not Hezekiah deceive you; for he shall not be able to deliver you out of his hand:
30 Сэ ну вэ факэ Езекия сэ вэ ынкредець ын Домнул зикынд: «Домнул не ва избэви ши четатя ачаста ну ва фи датэ ын мыниле ымпэратулуй Асирией.»’
neither let Hezekiah make you trust in the LORD, saying, The LORD will surely deliver us, and this city shall not be given into the hand of the king of Assyria.
31 Н-аскултаць де Езекия, кэч аша ворбеште ымпэратул Асирией: ‘Фачець паче ку мине, супунеци-вэ мие ши фиекаре дин вой ва мынка дин вия луй ши дин смокинул луй, фиекаре ва бя апэ дин фынтына луй
Hearken not to Hezekiah: for thus saith the king of Assyria, Make your peace with me, and come out to me; and eat ye every one of his vine, and every one of his fig tree, and drink ye every one the waters of his own cistern;
32 пынэ вой вени ши вэ вой дуче ынтр-о царэ ка а воастрэ, ынтр-о царэ ку грыу ши ку вин, о царэ ку пыне ши вий, о царэ ку мэслинь де унтделемн ши мьере ши вець трэи, ши ну вець мури. Н-аскултаць дар де Езекия, каре вэ амэӂеште зикынд: «Домнул не ва избэви.»
Until I come and take you away to a land like your own land, a land of corn and wine, a land of bread and vineyards, a land of oil olive and of honey, that ye may live, and not die: and hearken not unto Hezekiah, when he persuadeth you, saying, The LORD will deliver us.
33 Оаре думнезеий нямурилор ау избэвит ей, фиекаре цара луй, дин мына ымпэратулуй Асирией?
Hath any of the gods of the nations ever delivered his land out of the hand of the king of Assyria?
34 Унде сунт думнезеий Хаматулуй ши Арпадулуй? Унде сунт думнезеий Сефарваимулуй, Хеней ши Ивей? Ау избэвит ей Самария дин мына мя?
Where are the gods of Hamath, and of Arpad? where are the gods of Sepharvaim, of Hena, and Ivvah? have they delivered Samaria out of my hand?
35 Каре динтре тоць думнезеий ачестор цэрь шь-а избэвит цара дин мына мя, пентру ка ши Домнул сэ избэвяскэ Иерусалимул дин мына мя?’”
Who are they among all the gods of the countries, that have delivered their country out of my hand, that the LORD should deliver Jerusalem out of my hand?
36 Попорул а тэкут ши ну й-а рэспунс о ворбэ, кэч ымпэратул дэдусе порунка ачаста: „Сэ ну-й рэспундець.”
But the people held their peace, and answered him not a word: for the king’s commandment was, saying, Answer him not.
37 Ши Елиаким, фиул луй Хилкия, кэпетения касей ымпэратулуй, Шебна, логофэтул, ши Иоах, фиул луй Асаф, скрииторул, ау венит ла Езекия ку хайнеле сфышияте ши й-ау спус кувинтеле луй Рабшаке.
Then came Eliakim the son of Hilkiah, which was over the household, and Shebna the scribe, and Joah the son of Asaph the recorder, to Hezekiah, with their clothes rent, and told him the words of Rabshakeh.
