1 Амация а ажунс ымпэрат ла вырста де доуэзечь ши чинч де ань ши а домнит доуэзечь ши ноуэ де ань ла Иерусалим. Мама са се кема Иоадан, дин Иерусалим.
A son of twenty and five years hath Amaziah reigned, and twenty and nine years he hath reigned in Jerusalem, and the name of his mother [is] Jehoaddan of Jerusalem,
2 Ел а фэкут че есте бине ынаинтя Домнулуй, дар ку о инимэ каре ну ера ын тотул датэ Луй.
and he doth that which is right in the eyes of Jehovah — only, not with a perfect heart.
3 Кынд с-а ынтэрит домния ын мыниле луй, а оморыт пе служиторий каре учисесерэ пе ымпэратул, татэл сэу.
And it cometh to pass, when the kingdom hath been strong upon him, that he slayeth his servants, those smiting the king his father,
4 Дар н-а оморыт пе фиий лор, кэч а лукрат потривит ку чея че есте скрис ын леӂе, ын картя луй Мойсе, унде Домнул дэ порунка ачаста: „Сэ ну се омоаре пэринций пентру копий ши сэ ну се омоаре копиий пентру пэринць, чи фиекаре сэ фие оморыт пентру пэкатул луй.”
and their sons he hath not put to death, but [did] as is written in the law, in the book of Moses, whom Jehovah commanded, saying, 'Fathers do not die for sons, and sons die not for fathers, but each for his own sin they die.'
5 Амация а стрынс пе оамений дин Иуда ши й-а пус дупэ каселе пэринтешть, кэпетений песте мий ши кэпетений песте суте, пентру тот Иуда ши Бениамин. Ле-а фэкут нумэрэтоаря де ла вырста де доуэзечь де ань ын сус ши а гэсит трей суте де мий де оамень алешь, ын старе сэ поарте армеле, мынуинд сулица ши скутул.
And Amaziah gathereth Judah, and appointeth them, according to the house of the fathers, for heads of the thousands, and for heads of the hundreds, for all Judah and Benjamin; and he inspecteth them from a son of twenty years and upward, and findeth them three hundred thousand chosen ones, going forth to the host, holding spear and target.
6 А май токмит ку платэ дин Исраел о сутэ де мий де витежь, ку о сутэ де таланць де арӂинт.
And he hireth out of Israel a hundred thousand mighty ones of valour, with a hundred talents of silver;
7 Ун ом ал луй Думнезеу а венит ла ел ши а зис: „Ымпэрате, сэ ну мяргэ ку тине оастя луй Исраел, кэч Домнул ну есте ку Исраел, ну есте ку тоць ачешть фий ай луй Ефраим.
and a man of God hath come in unto him, saying, 'O king, the host of Israel doth not go with thee; for Jehovah is not with Israel — all the sons of Ephraim;
8 Дакэ мерӂь ку ей, кяр дакэ ай фаче ла луптэ фапте де витежие, сэ штий кэ Думнезеу те ва фаче сэ казь ынаинтя врэжмашулуй. Кэч Думнезеу аре путере сэ те ажуте ши сэ те факэ сэ казь.”
but if thou art going — do [it], be strong for battle, God doth cause thee to stumble before an enemy, for there is power in God to help, and to cause to stumble.'
9 Амация а зис омулуй луй Думнезеу: „Дар че сэ фак ку чей о сутэ де таланць пе каре й-ам дат оастей луй Исраел?” Омул луй Думнезеу а рэспунс: „Домнул поате сэ-ць дя мулт май мулт декыт атыт.”
And Amaziah saith to the man of God, 'And what — to do for the hundred talents that I have given to the troop of Israel?' And the man of God saith, 'Jehovah hath more to give to thee than this.'
10 Атунч, Амация а деспэрцит чата каре-й венисе дин Ефраим ши а порунчит ка оамений ачештя сэ се ынтоаркэ акасэ. Дар ей с-ау мыният фоарте таре пе Иуда ши ау плекат акасэ ку маре фурие.
And Amaziah separateth them — for the troop that hath come in unto him from Ephraim to go to their own place, and their anger doth burn mightily against Judah, and they turn back to their place in the heat of anger.
11 Амация с-а ымбэрбэтат ши шь-а дус попорул ын Валя Сэрий, унде а бэтут зече мий де оамень дин фиий луй Сеир.
And Amaziah hath strengthened himself, and leadeth his people, and goeth to the Valley of Salt, and smiteth the sons of Seir — ten thousand.
12 Ши фиий луй Иуда ау принс дин ей зече мий де иншь вий, пе каре й-ау дус пе вырфул уней стынчь, де унде й-ау прэвэлит ын вале, аша ынкыт тоць ау фост здробиць.
And ten thousand alive have the sons of Judah taken captive, and they bring them to the top of the rock, and cast them from the top of the rock, and all of them have been broken.
13 Ынсэ оамений дин чата кэрея ый дэдусе друмул ка сэ ну мяргэ ла рэзбой ку ел ау нэвэлит ын четэциле луй Иуда, де ла Самария пынэ ла Бет-Хорон, ау учис аколо трей мий де иншь ши ау луат мулте прэзь.
And the sons of the troop that Amaziah hath sent back from going with him to battle — they rush against cities of Judah, from Samaria even unto Beth-Horon, and smite of them three thousand, and seize much prey.
14 Кынд с-а ынторс Амация де ла ынфрынӂеря едомицилор, а адус пе думнезеий фиилор луй Сеир ши й-а пус думнезей пентру ел; с-а ынкинат ынаинтя лор ши ле-а адус тэмые.
And it cometh to pass, after the coming in of Amaziah from smiting the Edomites, that he bringeth in the gods of the sons of Seir, and establisheth them to him for gods, and before them doth bow himself, and to them he maketh perfume.
15 Атунч, Домнул С-а апринс де мыние ымпотрива луй Амация ши а тримис ла ел пе ун пророк, каре й-а зис: „Пентру че ай кэутат пе думнезеий попорулуй ачестуя, кынд ей н-ау путут сэ-шь избэвяскэ попорул дин мына та?”
And the anger of Jehovah burneth against Amaziah, and He sendeth unto him a prophet, and he saith unto him, 'Why hast thou sought the gods of the people that have not delivered their people out of thy hand?'
16 Пе кынд ворбя ел, Амация й-а зис: „Оаре те-ам фэкут сфетник ал ымпэратулуй? Плякэ! Пентру че врей сэ фий ловит?” Пророкул а плекат зикынд: „Штиу акум кэ Думнезеу а хотэрыт сэ те нимичяскэ, пентру кэ ай фэкут лукрул ачеста ши н-ай аскултат сфатул меу.”
And it cometh to pass, in his speaking unto him, that he saith to him, 'For a counsellor to the king have we appointed thee? cease for thee; why do they smite thee?' And the prophet ceaseth, and saith, 'I have known that God hath counselled to destroy thee, because thou hast done this, and hast not hearkened to my counsel.'
17 Дупэ че с-а сфэтуит, Амация, ымпэратул луй Иуда, а тримис сэ спунэ луй Иоас, фиул луй Иоахаз, фиул луй Иеху, ымпэратул луй Исраел: „Вино сэ не ведем фацэ ын фацэ!”
And Amaziah king of Judah taketh counsel, and sendeth unto Joash son of Jehoahaz, son of Jehu, king of Israel, saying,
18 Ши Иоас, ымпэратул луй Исраел, а тримис сэ спунэ луй Амация, ымпэратул луй Иуда: „Спинул дин Либан а тримис сэ спунэ чедрулуй дин Либан: ‘Дэ пе фийкэ-та де невастэ фиулуй меу!’ Ши фяреле сэлбатиче дин Либан ау трекут ши ау кэлкат ын пичоаре спинул.
'Come, we look one another in the face.' And Joash king of Israel sendeth unto Amaziah king of Judah, saying, 'The thorn that [is] in Lebanon hath sent unto the cedar that [is] in Lebanon, saying, Give thy daughter to my son for a wife; and pass by doth a beast of the field that [is] in Lebanon, and treadeth down the thorn.
19 Ту те гындешть кэ ай бэтут пе едомиць ши де ачея ци се ыналцэ инима ка сэ те мындрешть. Акум стай май бине акасэ. Пентру че сэ стырнешть ун рэу каре ць-ар адуче пеиря та ши а луй Иуда?”
Thou hast said, Lo, I have smitten Edom; and thy heart hath lifted thee up to boast; now, abide in thy house, why dost thou stir thyself up in evil, that thou hast fallen, thou, and Judah with thee?'
20 Дар Амация ну л-а аскултат, фииндкэ Думнезеу хотэрысе сэ-й дя ын мыниле врэжмашулуй, кэч кэутасерэ пе думнезеий Едомулуй.
And Amaziah hath not hearkened, for from God it [is] in order to give them into hand, because they have sought the gods of Edom;
21 Ши Иоас, ымпэратул луй Исраел, с-а суит ши с-ау вэзут ын фацэ ел ши Амация, ымпэратул луй Иуда, ла Бет-Шемешул луй Иуда.
and go up doth Joash king of Israel, and they look one another in the face, he and Amaziah king of Judah, in Beth-Shemesh, that [is] Judah's,
22 Иуда а фост бэтут де Исраел, ши фиекаре а фуӂит ын кортул луй.
and Judah is smitten before Israel, and they flee — each to his tents.
23 Иоас, ымпэратул луй Исраел, а луат ла Бет-Шемеш пе Амация, ымпэратул луй Иуда, фиул луй Иоас, фиул луй Иоахаз. Л-а адус ла Иерусалим ши а фэкут о спэртурэ де патру суте де коць ын зидул Иерусалимулуй, де ла Поарта луй Ефраим пынэ ла Поарта Унгюлуй.
And Amaziah king of Judah, son of Joash, son of Jehoahaz, hath Joash king of Israel caught in Beth-Shemesh, and bringeth him in to Jerusalem, and breaketh down in the wall of Jerusalem from the gate of Ephraim unto the gate of the corner, four hundred cubits,
24 А луат тот аурул ши арӂинтул, ши тоате васеле каре се афлау ын Каса луй Думнезеу, ла Обед-Едом, ши вистиерииле касей ымпэратулуй. А луат ши остатичь ши с-а ынторс ла Самария.
and [taketh] all the gold, and the silver, and all the vessels that are found in the house of God with Obed-Edom, and the treasures of the house of the king, and the sons of the pledges, and turneth back to Samaria.
25 Амация, фиул луй Иоас, ымпэратул луй Иуда, а трэит чинчспрезече ань дупэ моартя луй Иоас, фиул луй Иоахаз, ымпэратул луй Исраел.
And Amaziah son of Joash, king of Judah, liveth after the death of Joash son of Jehoahaz, king of Israel, fifteen years;
26 Челелалте фапте але луй Амация, челе динтый ши челе де пе урмэ, ну сунт скрисе оаре ын картя ымпэрацилор луй Иуда ши Исраел?
and the rest of the matters of Amaziah, the first and the last, lo, are they not written on the books of the kings of Judah and Israel?
27 Де кынд с-а абэтут Амация де ла Домнул, с-а фэкут ымпотрива луй о унелтире ла Иерусалим, ши ел а фуӂит ла Лакис. Дар л-ау урмэрит ла Лакис ши л-ау оморыт.
And from the time that Amaziah hath turned aside from after Jehovah — they make a conspiracy against him in Jerusalem, and he fleeth to Lachish, and they send after him to Lachish, and put him to death there,
28 Л-ау адус пе кай ши л-ау ынгропат ку пэринций сэй ын четатя луй Иуда.
and lift him up on the horses, and bury him with his fathers in the city of Judah.
