1 Робоам, венинд ла Иерусалим, а стрынс каса луй Иуда ши а луй Бениамин – о сутэ оптзечь де мий де оамень де фрунте, бунь пентру рэзбой – ка сэ лупте ымпотрива луй Исраел ши сэ-л адукэ ярэшь суб стэпыниря луй Робоам.
And when Rehoboam had come to Jerusalem, he gathered of the house of Judah and Benjamin a hundred and eighty thousand chosen [men] who were warriors, to fight against Israel, that he might bring the kingdom again to Rehoboam.
2 Дар Кувынтул Домнулуй а ворбит астфел луй Шемая, омул луй Думнезеу:
But the word of the LORD came to Shemaiah the man of God, saying,
3 „Ворбеште луй Робоам, фиул луй Соломон, ымпэратул луй Иуда, ши ынтрегулуй Исраел дин Иуда ши дин Бениамин. Ши спуне-ле:
Speak to Rehoboam the son of Solomon, king of Judah, and to all Israel in Judah and Benjamin, saying,
4 ‘Аша ворбеште Домнул: «Сэ ну вэ суиць ши сэ ну фачець рэзбой ымпотрива фрацилор воштри! Фиекаре дин вой сэ се ынтоаркэ акасэ, кэч де ла Мине с-а ынтымплат лукрул ачеста.»’” Ей ау аскултат де кувинтеле Домнулуй, с-ау ынторс акасэ ши ну с-ау май дус ымпотрива луй Иеробоам.
Thus saith the LORD, Ye shall not go up, nor fight against your brethren: return every man to his house: for this thing is done by me. And they obeyed the words of the LORD, and returned from going against Jeroboam.
5 Робоам а локуит ла Иерусалим ши а зидит четэць ынтэрите ын Иуда.
And Rehoboam dwelt in Jerusalem, and built cities for defense in Judah.
6 А зидит Бетлеемул, Етамул, Текоа,
He built even Beth-lehem, and Etam, and Tekoa,
7 Бет-Цурул, Сокоул, Адулам,
And Beth-zur, and Shocho, and Adullam,
8 Гатул, Мареша, Зифул,
And Gath, and Mareshah, and Ziph,
9 Адораимул, Лакисул, Азека,
And Adoraim, and Lachish, and Azekah,
10 Цорея, Аиалонул ши Хебронул, каре ерау ын Иуда ши ын Бениамин, ши а фэкут дин еле ниште четэць ынтэрите.
And Zorah, and Ajalon, and Hebron, which [are] in Judah and in Benjamin, fortified cities.
11 Ле-а ынтэрит, а пус ын еле кэпитань ши магазий де букате, де унтделемн ши вин.
And he fortified the strong holds, and put captains in them, and store of provisions, and of oil and wine.
12 А пус ын фиекаре дин ачесте четэць скутурь ши сулице ши ле-а фэкут фоарте тарь. Иуда ши Бениамин ерау ай луй.
And in every several city [he put] shields and spears, and made them exceeding strong, having Judah and Benjamin on his side.
13 Преоций ши левиций каре се афлау ын тот Исраелул шь-ау пэрэсит локуинцеле ши с-ау дус ла ел,
And the priests and the Levites that [were] in all Israel resorted to him from all their borders.
14 кэч левиций шь-ау пэрэсит цинутуриле ши мошииле ши ау венит ын Иуда ши ла Иерусалим, пентру кэ Иеробоам ши фиий сэй й-ау ымпедикат сэ-шь ымплиняскэ службеле ка преоць ай Домнулуй.
For the Levites left their suburbs and their possession, and came to Judah and Jerusalem: for Jeroboam and his sons had cast them off from executing the priest's office to the LORD:
15 Иеробоам а пус преоць пентру ынэлцимиле пентру цапий ши пентру вицеий пе каре ый фэкусе.
And he ordained him priests for the high places, and for the devils, and for the calves which he had made.
16 Ачея дин тоате семинцииле луй Исраел каре авяу пе инимэ сэ кауте пе Домнул Думнезеул луй Исраел ау урмат пе левиць ла Иерусалим, ка сэ жертфяскэ Домнулуй Думнезеулуй пэринцилор лор.
And after them out of all the tribes of Israel, such as set their hearts to seek the LORD God of Israel came to Jerusalem, to sacrifice to the LORD God of their fathers.
17 Ей ау дат астфел тэрие ымпэрэцией луй Иуда ши ау ынтэрит пе Робоам, фиул луй Соломон, тимп де трей ань, кэч трей ань ау умблат ын каля луй Давид ши а луй Соломон.
So they strengthened the kingdom of Judah, and made Rehoboam the son of Solomon strong, three years: for three years they walked in the way of David and Solomon.
18 Робоам а луат де невастэ пе Махалат, фата луй Иеримот, фиул луй Давид ши ал Абихаилей, фата луй Елиаб, фиул луй Исай.
And Rehoboam took to himself Mahalath the daughter of Jerimoth the son of David for a wife, [and] Abihail the daughter of Eliab the son of Jesse;
19 Еа й-а нэскут фий пе: Иеуш, Шемария ши Захам.
Who bore him children, Jeush, and Shamariah, and Zaham.
20 Дупэ еа, а луат пе Маака, фата луй Абсалом. Еа й-а нэскут пе Абия, пе Атай, пе Зиза ши пе Шеломит.
And after her he took Maachah the daughter of Absalom; who bore him Abijah, and Attai, and Ziza, and Shelomith.
21 Робоам юбя пе Маака, фата луй Абсалом, май мулт декыт пе тоате невестеле ши циитоареле луй, кэч а авут оптспрезече невесте ши шайзечь де циитоаре ши а нэскут доуэзечь ши опт де фий ши шайзечь де фете.
And Rehoboam loved Maachah the daughter of Absalom above all his wives and his concubines: (for he took eighteen wives, and sixty concubines; and begat twenty and eight sons, and sixty daughters.)
22 Робоам а дат чел динтый лок луй Абия, фиул Маакей, ши л-а пус кэпетение песте фраций луй, кэч воя сэ-л факэ ымпэрат.
And Rehoboam made Abijah the son of Maachah the chief, [to be] ruler among his brethren: for [he thought] to make him king.
23 Ел а лукрат ку минте, ымпрэштиинд пе тоць фиий сэй ын тоате цинутуриле луй Иуда ши луй Бениамин, ын тоате четэциле ынтэрите; ле-а дат де мынкаре дин белшуг ши ле-а кэутат о мулциме де невесте.
And he dealt wisely, and dispersed of all his children throughout all the countries of Judah and Benjamin, to every fortified city: and he gave them provisions in abundance. And he desired many wives.
