1 Кыт деспре времурь ши сороаче, н-авець требуинцэ сэ ви се скрие, фрацилор.
Bvt of the times and seasons, brethren, yee haue no neede that I write vnto you.
2 Пентру кэ вой ыншивэ штиць фоарте бине кэ зиуа Домнулуй ва вени ка ун хоц ноаптя.
For ye your selues knowe perfectly, that the day of the Lord shall come, euen as a thiefe in the night.
3 Кынд вор зиче: „Паче ши линиште!”, атунч о прэпэдение неаштептатэ ва вени песте ей, ка дурериле наштерий песте фемея ынсэрчинатэ, ши ну ва фи кип де скэпаре.
For when they shall say, Peace, and safetie, then shall come vpon them sudden destruction, as the trauaile vpon a woman with childe, and they shall not escape,
4 Дар вой, фрацилор, ну сунтець ын ынтунерик, пентру ка зиуа ачея сэ вэ приндэ ка ун хоц.
But ye, brethren, are not in darkenes, that that day shall come on you, as it were a thiefe.
5 Вой тоць сунтець фий ай луминий ши фий ай зилей. Ной ну сунтем ай нопций, нич ай ынтунерикулуй.
Yee are all the children of light, and the children of the day: we are not of the night, neither of darkenesse.
6 Де ачея сэ ну дормим ка чейлалць, чи сэ вегем ши сэ фим трежь.
Therefore let vs not sleepe as do other, but let vs watch and be sober.
7 Кэч чей че дорм, дорм ноаптя ши чей че се ымбатэ, се ымбатэ ноаптя.
For they that sleepe, sleepe in the night, and they that be drunken, are drunken in the night.
8 Дар ной, каре сунтем фий ай зилей, сэ фим трежь, сэ не ымбрэкэм ку платоша крединцей ши а драгостей ши сэ авем дрепт койф нэдеждя мынтуирий.
But let vs which are of the day, be sober, putting on the brest plate of faith and loue, and of the hope of saluation for an helmet.
9 Фииндкэ Думнезеу ну не-а рындуит ла мыние, чи ка сэ кэпэтэм мынтуиря прин Домнул ностру Исус Христос,
For God hath not appointed vs vnto wrath, but to obtaine saluation by the meanes of our Lord Iesus Christ,
10 каре а мурит пентру ной, пентру ка, фие кэ вегем, фие кэ дормим, сэ трэим ымпреунэ ку Ел.
Which died for vs, that whether we wake or sleepe, we should liue together with him.
11 Де ачея, мынгыяци-вэ ши ынтэрици-вэ уний пе алций, кум ши фачець ын адевэр.
Wherefore exhort one another, and edifie one another, euen as ye doe.
12 Вэ ругэм, фрацилор, сэ привиць бине пе чей че се остенеск ынтре вой, каре вэ кырмуеск ын Домнул ши каре вэ сфэтуеск.
Nowe we beseeche you, brethren, that ye acknowledge them, which labour among you, and are ouer you in the Lord, and admonish you,
13 Сэ-й прецуиць фоарте мулт, ын драгосте, дин причина лукрэрий лор. Трэиць ын паче ынтре вой.
That yee haue them in singular loue for their workes sake. Bee at peace among your selues.
14 Вэ ругэм, де асеменя, фрацилор, сэ мустраць пе чей че трэеск ын неорындуялэ; сэ ымбэрбэтаць пе чей дезнэдэждуиць; сэ сприжиниць пе чей слабь, сэ фиць рэбдэторь ку тоць.
We desire you, brethren, admonish them that are out of order: comfort ye feeble minded: beare with the weake: be pacient toward all men.
15 Луаць сяма ка нимень сэ ну ынтоаркэ алтуя рэу пентру рэу, чи кэутаць тотдяуна сэ фачець че есте бине атыт ынтре вой, кыт ши фацэ де тоць.
See that none recompense euil for euil vnto any man: but euer follow that which is good, both toward your selues, and toward all men.
16 Букураци-вэ ынтотдяуна.
Reioyce euermore.
17 Ругаци-вэ неынчетат.
Pray continually.
18 Мулцумиць луй Думнезеу пентру тоате лукруриле, кэч ачаста есте воя луй Думнезеу, ын Христос Исус, ку привире ла вой.
In all thinges giue thankes: for this is the will of God in Christ Iesus toward you.
19 Ну стинӂець Духул.
Quench not the Spirit.
20 Ну диспрецуиць пророчииле.
Despise not prophecying.
21 Чи черчетаць тоате лукруриле ши пэстраць че есте бун.
Try all things, and keepe that which is good.
22 Ферици-вэ де орьче се паре рэу.
Absteine from all appearance of euill.
23 Думнезеул пэчий сэ вэ сфинцяскэ Ел Ынсушь пе деплин ши духул востру, суфлетул востру ши трупул востру сэ фие пэзите ынтреӂь, фэрэ приханэ ла вениря Домнулуй ностру Исус Христос.
Nowe the very God of peace sanctifie you throughout: and I pray God that your whole spirite and soule and body, may be kept blamelesse vnto the comming of our Lord Iesus Christ.
24 Чел че в-а кемат есте крединчос ши ва фаче лукрул ачеста.
Faithfull is hee which calleth you, which will also doe it.
25 Фрацилор, ругаци-вэ пентру ной.
Brethren, pray for vs.
26 Спунець сэнэтате тутурор фрацилор ку о сэрутаре сфынтэ.
Greete all the brethren with an holy kisse.
27 Ын Домнул вэ рог фербинте ка епистола ачаста сэ фие чититэ тутурор фрацилор.
I charge you in the Lord, that this Epistle be read vnto all the brethren the Saintes.
28 Харул Домнулуй ностру Исус Христос сэ фие ку вой ку тоць! Амин.
The grace of our Lord Iesus Christ be with you, Amen. ‘The first Epistle vnto the Thessalonians written from Athens.’
