1 Тесалоничень 4

1 Ынколо, фрацилор, фииндкэ аць ынвэцат де ла ной кум сэ вэ пуртаць ши сэ фиць плэкуць луй Думнезеу, ши аша ши фачець, вэ ругэм ши вэ ындемнэм ын Нумеле Домнулуй Исус сэ спориць тот май мулт ын привинца ачаста.

For the rest, then, brethren, we beg you and exhort you in [the] Lord Jesus, even as ye have received from us how ye ought to walk and please God, even as ye also do walk, that ye would abound still more.

2 Штиць, ын адевэр, че ынвэцэтурь в-ам дат прин Домнул Исус.

For ye know what charges we gave you through the Lord Jesus.

3 Воя луй Думнезеу есте сфинциря воастрэ: сэ вэ фериць де курвие;

For this is [the] will of God, [even] your sanctification, that ye should abstain from fornication;

4 фиекаре дин вой сэ штие сэ-шь стэпыняскэ васул ын сфинцение ши чинсте,

that each of you know how to possess his own vessel in sanctification and honour,

5 ну ын априндеря пофтей, ка нямуриле, каре ну куноск пе Думнезеу.

(not in passionate desire, even as the nations who know not God, )

6 Нимень сэ ну фие ку виклешуг ши ку недрептате ын требурь фацэ де фрателе сэу, пентру кэ Домнул педепсеште тоате ачесте лукрурь, дупэ кум в-ам спус ши в-ам адеверит.

not overstepping the rights of and wronging his brother in the matter, because the Lord [is] the avenger of all these things, even as we also told you before, and have fully testified.

7 Кэч Думнезеу ну не-а кемат ла некурэцие, чи ла сфинцире.

For God has not called us to uncleanness, but in sanctification.

8 Де ачея, чине несокотеште ачесте ынвэцэтурь несокотеште ну пе ун ом, чи пе Думнезеу, каре в-а дат ши Духул Сэу чел Сфынт.

He therefore that [in this] disregards [his brother], disregards, not man, but God, who has given also his Holy Spirit to you.

9 Кыт деспре драгостя фрэцяскэ, н-авець невое сэ вэ скрием, кэч вой сингурь аць фост ынвэцаць де Думнезеу сэ вэ юбиць уний пе алций,

Now concerning brotherly love ye have no need that we should write to you, for ye yourselves are taught of God to love one another.

10 ши юбиць ын адевэр пе тоць фраций каре сунт ын тоатэ Мачедония. Дар вэ ындемнэм, фрацилор, сэ спориць тот май мулт ын еа.

For also ye do this towards all the brethren in the whole of Macedonia; but we exhort you, brethren, to abound still more,

11 Сэ кэутаць сэ трэиць лиништиць, сэ вэ ведець де требурь ши сэ лукраць ку мыниле воастре, кум в-ам сфэтуит.

and to seek earnestly to be quiet and mind your own affairs, and work with your [own] hands, even as we charged you,

12 Ши астфел сэ вэ пуртаць кувиинчос ку чей де афарэ ши сэ н-авець требуинцэ де нимень.

that ye may walk reputably towards those without, and may have need of no one.

13 Ну воим, фрацилор, сэ фиць ын некуноштинцэ деспре чей че ау адормит, ка сэ ну вэ ынтристаць ка чейлалць, каре н-ау нэдежде.

But we do not wish you to be ignorant, brethren, concerning them that are fallen asleep, to the end that ye be not grieved even as also the rest who have no hope.

14 Кэч дакэ кредем кэ Исус а мурит ши а ынвият, кредем ши кэ Думнезеу ва адуче ынапой ымпреунэ ку Исус пе чей че ау адормит ын Ел.

For if we believe that Jesus has died and has risen again, so also God will bring with him those who have fallen asleep through Jesus.

15 Ятэ, ын адевэр, че вэ спунем прин Кувынтул Домнулуй: ной чей вий, каре вом рэмыне пынэ ла вениря Домнулуй, ну вом луа-о ынаинтя челор адормиць.

(For this we say to you in [the] word of [the] Lord, that we, the living, who remain to the coming of the Lord, are in no way to anticipate those who have fallen asleep;

16 Кэч Ынсушь Домнул, ку ун стригэт, ку гласул унуй архангел ши ку трымбица луй Думнезеу, Се ва коборы дин чер ши ынтый вор ынвия чей морць ын Христос.

for the Lord himself, with an assembling shout, with archangel's voice and with trump of God, shall descend from heaven; and the dead in Christ shall rise first;

17 Апой, ной чей вий, каре вом фи рэмас, вом фи рэпиць тоць ымпреунэ ку ей ын норь, ка сэ ынтымпинэм пе Домнул ын вэздух; ши астфел вом фи тотдяуна ку Домнул.

then we, the living who remain, shall be caught up together with them in [the] clouds, to meet the Lord in [the] air; and thus we shall be always with [the] Lord.

18 Мынгыяци-вэ дар уний пе алций ку ачесте кувинте.

So encourage one another with these words.)
