1 Давид а фуӂит дин Наиот, де лынгэ Рама. С-а дус ла Ионатан ши а зис: „Че-ам фэкут еу? Каре есте нелеӂюиря мя, каре есте пэкатул меу ынаинтя татэлуй тэу, де вря сэ-мь я вяца?”
And David fled from Naioth in Ramah, and came and said before Jonathan, What have I done? what [is] my iniquity? and what [is] my sin before thy father, that he seeketh my life?
2 Ионатан й-а рэспунс: „Феряскэ Думнезеу! Ну вей мури. Татэл меу ну фаче ничун лукру, фие маре, фие мик, фэрэ сэ-мь дя де штире. Пентру че мь-ар аскунде ел лукрул ачеста? Ну есте нимик.”
And he said to him, Far be it from thee; thou shalt not die: behold, my father will do nothing, either great or small, but that he will show it to me: and why should my father hide this thing from me? it [is] not [so].
3 Давид а зис ярэшь, журынд: „Татэл тэу штие бине кэ ам кэпэтат тречере ынаинтя та ши ва фи зис: ‘Сэ ну штие Ионатан, кэч с-ар ынтриста.’ Дар виу есте Домнул ши виу есте суфлетул тэу кэ ну есте декыт ун пас ынтре мине ши моарте.”
And David swore moreover, and said, Thy father certainly knoweth that I have found grace in thy eyes; and he saith, Let not Jonathan know this, lest he should be grieved: But truly [as] the LORD liveth, and [as] thy soul liveth, [there is] but a step between me and death.
4 Ионатан а зис луй Давид: „Пентру тине вой фаче тот че вей вря.”
Then said Jonathan to David, Whatever thy soul desireth, I will even do [it] for thee.
5 Ши Давид й-а рэспунс: „Ятэ кэ мыне есте лунэ ноуэ ши ар требуи сэ шед сэ мэнынк ку ымпэратул; ласэ-мэ сэ мэ дук ши сэ мэ аскунд ын кымпий пынэ ын сяра зилей а трея.
And David said to Jonathan, Behold, to morrow [is] the new-moon, and I should not fail to sit with the king at meat: but let me go, that I may hide myself in the field to the third [day] at evening.
6 Дакэ татэл тэу ва бэга де сямэ липса мя, сэ-й спуй: ‘Давид м-а ругат сэ-л лас сэ се дукэ пынэ ла Бетлеем, ын четатя луй, пентру кэ аколо се адуче пентру тоатэ фамилия о жертфэ де песте ан.’
If thy father shall at all miss me, then say, David earnestly asked [leave] of me, that he might run to Beth-lehem his city: for [there is] a yearly sacrifice there for all the family.
7 Ши дакэ ва зиче: ‘Бине!’ атунч робул тэу н-аре нимик де темут, дар, дакэ-л ва апука мыния, сэ штий кэ пеиря мя есте лукру хотэрыт дин партя луй.
If he shall say thus, [It is] well; thy servant will have peace: but if he shall be very wroth, [then] be sure that evil is determined by him.
8 Аратэ-ць дар драгостя пентру робул тэу, кэч ай фэкут ку робул тэу ун легэмынт ынаинтя Домнулуй. Ши дакэ есте врео нелеӂюире ын мине, я-мь ту вяца. Де че сэ мэ май дучь пынэ ла татэл тэу?”
Therefore thou shalt deal kindly with thy servant; for thou hast brought thy servant into a covenant of the LORD with thee: notwithstanding, if there is in me iniquity, slay me thyself; for why shouldst thou bring me to thy father?
9 Ионатан й-а зис: „Департе де тине гындул сэ ну-ць дау де штире дакэ вой афла кэ пеиря та есте лукру хотэрыт дин партя татэлуй меу ши аменинцэ сэ те ажунгэ!”
And Jonathan said, Far be it from thee: for if I knew certainly that evil is determined by my father to come upon thee, then would not I tell it thee?
10 Давид а зис луй Ионатан: „Чине-мь ва да де штире дакэ татэл тэу ць-ар рэспунде ку асприме?”
Then said David to Jonathan, Who shall tell me? or what [if] thy father shall answer thee roughly?
11 Ши Ионатан а зис луй Давид: „Вино, сэ ешим пе кымп.” Ши ау ешит амындой пе кымп.
And Jonathan said to David, Come, and let us go out into the field. And they went out both of them into the field.
12 Ионатан а зис луй Давид: „Яу мартор пе Домнул Думнезеул луй Исраел кэ вой черчета де апроапе пе татэл меу мыне сау поймыне ши, де ва гынди бине де Давид,
And Jonathan said to David, O LORD God of Israel, when I have sounded my father about to-morrow any time, [or] the third [day], and behold, [if there be] good towards David, and I then send not to thee, and show it thee;
13 Домнул сэ Се поарте ку Ионатан ку тоатэ аспримя, дакэ ну вой тримите пе нимень сэ-ць дя де штире! Дакэ татэл меу ва гэси ку кале сэ-ць факэ рэу, ярэшь ыць вой да де штире ши те вой лэса сэ плечь, ка сэ те дучь ын паче, ши Домнул сэ фие ку тине кум а фост ку татэл меу!
The LORD do so and much more to Jonathan: but if it shall please my father [to do] thee evil, then I will show it to thee, and send thee away, that thou mayest go in peace: and the LORD be with thee, as he hath been with my father.
14 Дакэ вой май трэи, сэ те порць фацэ де мине ку о бунэтате ка а Домнулуй ши, дакэ вой мури,
And thou shalt, not only while yet I live, show me the kindness of the LORD, that I may not die:
15 сэ ну ыць ындепэртезь ничодатэ бунэтатя фацэ де каса мя, нич кяр кынд Домнул ва нимичи пе фиекаре дин врэжмаший луй Давид де пе фаца пэмынтулуй.
But [also] thou shalt not withdraw thy kindness from my house for ever: no, not when the LORD hath cut off the enemies of David every one from the face of the earth.
16 Кэч Ионатан а фэкут легэмынт ку каса луй Давид! Домнул сэ Се рэзбуне пе врэжмаший луй Давид!”
So Jonathan made [a covenant] with the house of David, [saying], Let the LORD even require [it] at the hand of David's enemies.
17 Ионатан а ынтэрит ши май мулт фацэ де Давид драгостя пе каре о авя пентру ел, кэч ыл юбя ка пе суфлетул луй.
And Jonathan caused David to swear again, because he loved him: for he loved him as he loved his own soul.
18 Ионатан й-а зис: „Мыне есте лунэ ноуэ; се ва бэга де сямэ липса та, кэч локул тэу ва фи гол.
Then Jonathan said to David, To-morrow [is] the new-moon: and thou wilt be missed, because thy seat will be empty.
19 Сэ те коборь а трея зи пынэ ын фундул локулуй ын каре те аскунсесешь ын зиуа кынд ку ынтымпларя ачея ши сэ рэмый лынгэ пятра Езел.
And [when] thou hast stayed three days, [then] thou shalt go down quickly, and come to the place where thou didst hide thyself when the business was [in hand], and shalt remain by the stone Ezel.
20 Еу вой траӂе трей сэӂець ынспре пятра ачаста, ка ши кынд аш лови ла цинтэ.
And I will shoot three arrows on the side [of it], as though I shot at a mark.
21 Ши вой тримите ун тынэр ши-й вой зиче: ‘Ду-те де гэсеште сэӂециле!’ Дакэ-й вой зиче: ‘Ятэ кэ сэӂециле сунт динкоаче де тине, я-ле!’ атунч сэ вий, кэч есте паче пентру тине ши н-ай сэ те темь де нимик, виу есте Домнул!
And behold, I will send a lad, [saying], Go, find the arrows. If I expressly say to the lad, Behold, the arrows [are] on this side of thee, take them; then come thou: for [there is] peace to thee, and no hurt; [as] the LORD liveth.
22 Дар, дакэ вой зиче тынэрулуй: ‘Ятэ кэ сэӂециле сунт динколо де тине’, атунч сэ плечь, кэч Домнул те тримите.
But if I say thus to the young man, Behold, the arrows [are] beyond thee; go thy way: for the LORD hath sent thee away.
23 Домнул есте мартор пе вечие пентру кувынтул пе каре ни л-ам дат унул алтуя.”
And [as to] the matter which thou and I have spoken of, behold, the LORD [be] between thee and me for ever.
24 Давид с-а аскунс ын кымп. А венит луна ноуэ ши ымпэратул а луат лок ла оспэц ка сэ мэнынче.
So David hid himself in the field: and when the new-moon had come, the king sat down to eat food.
25 Ымпэратул а шезут ка де обичей пе скаунул луй, лынгэ перете. Ионатан с-а скулат ши Абнер а шезут лынгэ Саул, дар локул луй Давид а рэмас гол.
And the king sat upon his seat, as at other times, [even] upon a seat by the wall: and Jonathan arose, and Abner sat by Saul's side, and David's place was empty.
26 Саул н-а зис нимик ын зиуа ачея, „кэч”, зичя ел, „с-а ынтымплат: ел ну есте курат, негрешит ну есте курат”.
Nevertheless Saul spoke not any thing that day: for he thought, Something hath befallen him, he [is] not clean; surely he [is] not clean.
27 А доуа зи, зиуа а доуа а луний ной, локул луй Давид ера тот гол. Ши Саул а зис фиулуй сэу Ионатан: „Пентру че н-а венит фиул луй Исай ла масэ нич ерь, нич азь?”
And it came to pass on the morrow, [which was] the second [day] of the month, that David's place was empty: and Saul said to Jonathan his son, Why cometh not the son of Jesse to eat, neither yesterday, nor to-day?
28 Ионатан а рэспунс луй Саул: „Давид мь-а черут вое сэ се дукэ ла Бетлеем.
And Jonathan answered Saul, David earnestly asked [leave] of me [to go] to Beth-lehem:
29 Ел а зис: ‘Дэ-мь друмул, те рог, кэч авем ын четате о жертфэ де фамилие, ши фрате-меу мь-а спус лукрул ачеста, деч, дакэ ам кэпэтат тречере ынаинтя та, дэ-мь вое сэ мэ дук ын грабэ сэ-мь вэд фраций.’ Пентру ачея н-а венит ла маса ымпэратулуй.”
And he said, Let me go, I pray thee; for our family hath a sacrifice in the city; and my brother he hath commanded me [to be there]: and now if I have found favor in thy eyes, let me get away, I pray thee, and see my brethren. Therefore he cometh not to the king's table.
30 Атунч, Саул с-а апринс де мыние ымпотрива луй Ионатан ши й-а зис: „Фиу рэу ши неаскултэтор, ну штиу еу кэ ць-ай луат ка приетен пе фиул луй Исай, спре рушиня та ши спре рушиня мамей тале?
Then Saul's anger was kindled against Jonathan, and he said to him, Thou son of the perverse rebellious [woman], do not I know that thou hast chosen the son of Jesse to thy own confusion, and to the confusion of thy mother's nakedness?
31 Кэч, кытэ време ва трэи фиул луй Исай пе пэмынт, ну ва фи линиште нич пентру тине, нич пентру ымпэрэция та. Ши акум тримите сэ-л кауте ши сэ ми-л адукэ, фииндкэ есте вредник де моарте.”
For as long as the son of Jesse liveth upon the earth, thou shalt not be established, nor thy kingdom. Wherefore now send and bring him to me, for he shall surely die.
32 Ионатан а рэспунс татэлуй сэу, Саул, ши й-а зис: „Пентру че сэ фие оморыт? Че а фэкут?”
And Jonathan answered Saul his father, and said to him, Why shall he be slain? what hath he done?
33 Ши Саул шь-а ындрептат сулица спре ел, ка сэ-л ловяскэ. Ионатан а ынцелес кэ ера лукру хотэрыт дин партя татэлуй сэу сэ омоаре пе Давид.
And Saul cast a javelin at him to smite him: by which Jonathan knew that it was determined by his father to slay David.
34 С-а скулат де ла масэ ынтр-о мыние апринсэ ши н-а луат делок парте ла масэ ын зиуа а доуа а луний ной, кэч ера мыхнит дин причина луй Давид, пентру кэ татэл сэу ыл окэрысе.
So Jonathan arose from the table in fierce anger, and ate no food the second day of the month: for he was grieved for David, because his father had done him shame.
35 А доуа зи де диминяцэ, Ионатан с-а дус пе кымп ын локул ын каре се ынвоисе ку Давид ши ера ынсоцит де ун бэецаш.
And it came to pass in the morning, that Jonathan went out into the field at the time appointed with David, and a little lad with him.
36 Ел й-а зис: „Дэ фуга ши гэсеште сэӂециле пе каре ле вой траӂе.” Бэятул а алергат, ши Ионатан а трас о сэӂятэ каре а трекут динколо де ел.
And he said to his lad, Run, find now the arrows which I shoot. [And] as the lad ran, he shot an arrow, beyond him.
37 Кынд а ажунс бэятул ла локул унде ера сэӂята пе каре о трэсесе Ионатан, Ионатан а стригат дупэ ел: „Ятэ кэ сэӂята есте динколо де тине.”
And when the lad had come to the place of the arrow which Jonathan had shot, Jonathan cried after the lad, and said, [Is] not the arrow beyond thee?
38 Й-а стригат ярэшь: „Юте, грэбеште-те, ну те опри!” Ши бэятул луй Ионатан а стрынс сэӂециле ши с-а ынторс ла стэпынул луй.
And Jonathan cried after the lad, Make speed, haste, stay not. And Jonathan's lad gathered up the arrows, and came to his master.
39 Бэятул ну штия нимик: нумай Ионатан ши Давид ынцелеӂяу лукрул ачеста.
But the lad knew not any thing: only Jonathan and David knew the matter.
40 Ионатан а дат бэятулуй армеле ши й-а зис: „Ду-те ши ду-ле ын четате.”
And Jonathan gave his arms to his lad, and said to him, Go, carry [them] to the city.
41 Дупэ плекаря бэятулуй, Давид с-а скулат дин партя де мязэзи, апой с-а арункат ку фаца ла пэмынт ши с-а ынкинат де трей орь. Чей дой приетень с-ау ымбрэцишат ши ау плынс ымпреунэ. Давид май алес се прэпэдя плынгынд.
[And] as soon as the lad was gone, David arose out of [a place] towards the south, and fell on his face to the ground, and bowed himself three times: and they kissed one another, and wept one with another, until David exceeded.
42 Ши Ионатан а зис луй Давид: „Ду-те ын паче, акум кынд ам журат амындой ын Нумеле Домнулуй, зикынд: ‘Домнул сэ фие пе вечие ынтре мине ши тине, ынтре сэмынца мя ши сэмынца та!’” Давид с-а скулат ши а плекат, яр Ионатан с-а ынторс ын четате.
And Jonathan said to David, Go in peace, forasmuch as we have sworn both of us in the name of the LORD, saying, The LORD be between me and thee, and between my seed and thy seed for ever. And he arose and departed: and Jonathan went into the city.
