1 Давид се апропия де клипа морций ши а дат ындрумэрь фиулуй сэу Соломон, зикынд:
And, when the days of David drew near that he must die, he charged Solomon his son, saying: —
2 „Еу плек пе каля пе каре мерӂе тоатэ лумя. Ынтэреште-те ши фий ом!
I, am going the way of all the earth, —thou must be strong, therefore, and show thyself a man;
3 Пэзеште порунчиле Домнулуй Думнезеулуй тэу, умблынд ын кэиле Луй ши пэзинд леӂиле Луй, порунчиле Луй, хотэрыриле Луй ши ынвэцэтуриле Луй, дупэ кум есте скрис ын леӂя луй Мойсе, ка сэ избутешть ын тот че вей фаче ши орьынкотро те вей ынтоарче
and keep the observances of Yahweh thy God, by walking in his ways, by keeping his statutes, his commandments, and his regulations and his testimonies, as written in the law of Moses, —to the end thou mayest prosper in all that thou doest, and whithersoever thou turnest thyself;
4 ши пентру ка Домнул сэ ымплиняскэ урмэтоареле кувинте, пе каре ле-а ростит пентру мине: ‘Дакэ фиий тэй вор луа сяма ла каля лор, умблынд ку крединчошие ынаинтя Мя дин тоатэ инима лор ши дин тот суфлетул лор, ну вей фи липсит ничодатэ де ун урмаш пе скаунул де домние ал луй Исраел.’
to the end that Yahweh may establish his word which he spake concerning me, saying, If thy sons will take heed to their way, by walking before me, in truth, with all their heart, and with all their soul, (then, said he) there shall not be cut off to thee a man, from off the throne of Israel.
5 Штий че мь-а фэкут Иоаб, фиул Церуей, че а фэкут челор доуэ кэпетений але оштирий луй Исраел, луй Абнер, фиул луй Нер, ши луй Амаса, фиул луй Иетер. Й-а оморыт; а вэрсат ын тимп де паче сынӂе де рэзбой ши а пус сынӂеле де рэзбой пе чингэтоаря ку каре ера ынчинс ла мижлок ши пе ынкэлцэминтя дин пичоаре.
Moreover also, thou, knowest what Joab son of Zeruiah did to me, how he dealt with two generals of the armies of Israel—with Abner son of Ner, and with Amasa son of Jether—both of whom he slew, shedding the blood of war in peace, —and putting the blood of war upon his girdle that was on his loins, and upon his sandals, that were on his feet.
6 Фэ дупэ ынцелепчуня та ши сэ ну лашь ка перий луй чей албь сэ се кобоаре ын паче ын Локуинца морцилор. (Sheol h7585)
Thou, therefore, must do according to thy wisdom, —but will not let his grey hair go down in peace, to hades. (Sheol h7585)
7 Сэ те порць ку бунэвоинцэ ку фиий луй Барзилай, Галаадитул, ши ей сэ мэнынче ла масэ ку тине, кэч тот аша с-ау пуртат ши ей ку мине, ешинду-мь ынаинте кынд фуӂям де фрателе тэу Абсалом.
But, with the sons of Barzillai the Gileadite, thou wilt deal in lovingkindness, and they will be among them who eat at thy table, —for, so, drew they near unto me, when I fled from Absolom thy brother.
8 Ятэ кэ ай лынгэ тине пе Шимей, фиул луй Гера, Бениамитул, дин Бахурим. Ел а ростит ымпотрива мя марь блестеме ын зиуа кынд мэ дучям ла Маханаим. Дар с-а коборыт ынаинтя мя ла Йордан ши й-ам журат пе Домнул зикынд: ‘Ну те вой оморы ку сабия.’
Lo! also, there is with thee—Shimei son of Gera a Benjamite, of Behurim, well, he, it was who cursed me with a grievous curse; on the day I journeyed to Mahanaim, —but he, came down to meet me, at the Jordan, and so I sware to him by Yahweh, saying—I will not put thee to death, with the sword.
9 Акум, ту сэ ну-л лашь непедепсит, кэч ешть ун ом ынцелепт ши штий кум требуе сэ те порць ку ел. Сэ-й коборь перий албь ынсынӂераць ын Локуинца морцилор.” (Sheol h7585)
Now, therefore do not hold him guiltless, for, a wise man, thou art, and wilt know how thou oughtest to deal with him, and wilt suffer his grey hairs to go down with blood, to hades. (Sheol h7585)
10 Давид а адормит ку пэринций луй ши а фост ынгропат ын четатя луй Давид.
So then David slept with his fathers, —and was buried in the city of David.
11 Время кыт а ымпэрэцит Давид песте Исраел а фост де патрузечь де ань: ла Хеброн а ымпэрэцит шапте ань, яр ла Иерусалим а ымпэрэцит трейзечь ши трей де ань.
Now, the days that David reigned over Israel, were forty years, —in Hebron, reigned he seven years, and, in Jerusalem, reigned he thirty and three years.
12 Соломон а шезут пе скаунул де домние ал татэлуй сэу Давид, ши ымпэрэция луй с-а ынтэрит фоарте мулт.
But, when, Solomon, took his seat upon the throne of David his father, then was the kingdom firmly established.
13 Адония, фиул Хагитей, с-а дус ла Бат-Шеба, мама луй Соломон. Еа й-а зис: „Вий ку гындурь пашниче?” Ел а рэспунс: „Да.”
And Adonijah son of Haggith came in unto Bath-sheba, mother of Solomon: And she said—Peaceably, comest thou? And he said—Peaceably.
14 Ши а адэугат: „Ам сэ-ць спун о ворбэ.” Еа а зис: „Ворбеште!”
Then said he—I have somewhat to say unto thee. And she said—Say on.
15 Ши ел а зис: „Штий кэ ымпэрэция ера а мя ши кэ тот Исраелул ышь ындрепта привириле спре мине ка сэ фиу ымпэрат. Дар ымпэрэция с-а ынторс ши а кэзут фрателуй меу, пентру кэ Домнул й-а дат-о.
And he said—Thou, knowest that, mine, was the kingdom, and, on me, had all Israel set their faces, that I should become king, —howbeit the kingdom, hath turned about, and become my brother’s, for, from Yahweh, became it, his.
16 Акум ыць чер ун лукру: ну-ць ынтоарче фаца!” Еа й-а рэспунс: „Ворбеште!”
Now, therefore, one request, have I to ask of thee, do not turn away my face.
17 Ши ел а зис: „Спуне, те рог, ымпэратулуй Соломон – кэч ну се поате сэ ну те аскулте – сэ-мь дя де невастэ пе Абишаг, Сунамита.”
And she said unto him—Say on. And he said—Speak, I pray thee, unto Solomon the king, for he will not turn away thy face, —that he give me Abishag the Shunammite, to wife.
18 Бат-Шеба а зис: „Бине! Вой ворби ымпэратулуй пентру тине.”
And Bath-sheba said: Good! I myself, will speak for thee, unto the king.
19 Бат-Шеба с-а дус ла ымпэратул Соломон сэ-й ворбяскэ пентру Адония. Ымпэратул с-а скулат с-о ынтымпине, с-а ынкинат ынаинтя ей ши а шезут пе скаунул сэу де домние. Ау пус ун скаун пентру мама ымпэратулуй ши еа а шезут ла дряпта луй.
So Bath-sheba went in unto King Solomon, to speak to him for Adonijah, —and the king rose up to meet her, and bowed himself down to her, and sat down upon his throne, and caused a throne to be set for the mother of the king, and she sat on his right hand.
20 Апой а зис: „Ам сэ-ць фак о микэ ругэминте: сэ мэ аскулць!” Ши ымпэратул й-а зис: „Чере, мамэ, кэч те вой аскулта.”
Then said she—One small request, am I asking of thee, do not turn away my face. And the king said to her—Ask on, my mother, for I will not turn away thy face.
21 Еа а зис: „Абишаг, Сунамита, сэ фие датэ де невастэ фрателуй тэу Адония.”
And she said, Let Abishag the Shunammite be given to Adonijah thy brother, to wife.
22 Ымпэратул Соломон а рэспунс мамей сале: „Пентру че черь нумай пе Абишаг, Сунамита, пентру Адония? Чере ши ымпэрэция пентру ел, кэч есте фрателе меу май маре декыт мине – пентру ел, пентру преотул Абиатар ши пентру Иоаб, фиул Церуей.”
Then answered King Solomon, and said to his mother—Wherefore, then, art thou asking Abishag the Shunammite, for Adonijah? ask, then, for him the kingdom, because he is mine elder brother, —even for him, and for Abiathar the priest, and for Joab, son of Zeruiah.
23 Атунч, ымпэратул а журат пе Домнул зикынд: „Сэ мэ педепсяскэ Думнезеу ку тоатэ аспримя дакэ ну-л вор коста вяца пе Адония кувинтеле ачестя!
Then swore King Solomon by Yahweh, saying, —So, let God do to me, and, so, let him add, if, at the cost of his life, Adonijah hath not spoken this word.
24 Акум, виу есте Домнул, каре м-а ынтэрит ши м-а суит пе скаунул де домние ал татэлуй меу Давид ши каре мь-а фэкут о касэ дупэ фэгэдуинца Луй, кэ астэзь ва мури Адония!”
Now, therefore, by the life of Yahweh, who hath established me, and seated me upon the throne of David my father, and who hath made for me a household, as he had spoken, surely, to-day, shall Adonijah be put to death!
25 Ши ымпэратул Соломон а тримис пе Беная, фиул луй Иехоиада, каре л-а ловит, ши Адония а мурит.
So King Solomon sent by the hand of Benaiah son of Jehoiada, —and he fell upon him, that he died.
26 Ымпэратул а зис апой преотулуй Абиатар: „Ду-те ла Анатот, ла мошииле тале, кэч ешть вредник де моарте, дар ну те вой оморы азь, пентру кэ ай пуртат кивотул Домнулуй Думнезеу ынаинтя татэлуй меу Давид ши пентру кэ ай луат парте ла тоате суферинцеле татэлуй меу.”
Also, unto Abiathar the priest, said the king—To Anathoth, get thee unto thine own fields, for, death-doomed, thou art, —but, this day, will I not put thee to death, because thou didst bear the ark of My Lord, Yahweh, before David my father, and because thou wast afflicted in all wherein my father was afflicted.
27 Астфел, Соломон а скос пе Абиатар дин служба де преот ал Домнулуй, ка сэ ымплиняскэ кувынтул ростит де Домнул асупра касей луй Ели ын Сило.
So Solomon thrust out Abiathar from being priest unto Yahweh, —to fulfil the word of Yahweh which he spake concerning the household of Eli, in Shiloh.
28 Вестя ачаста а ажунс пынэ ла Иоаб, каре луасе партя луй Адония, мэкар кэ ну луасе партя луй Абсалом. Ши Иоаб а фуӂит ла кортул Домнулуй ши с-а апукат де коарнеле алтарулуй.
And, the report, came unto Joab, for, Joab, had inclined after Adonijah, although, after Solomon, he had not inclined, —so then Joab fled into the Tent of Yahweh, and laid hold of the horns of the altar.
29 Ау дат де штире ымпэратулуй Соломон кэ Иоаб а фуӂит ла кортул Домнулуй ши кэ есте ла алтар. Ши Соломон а тримис пе Беная, фиул луй Иехоиада, зикынду-й: „Ду-те ши ловеште-л!”
And it was told King Solomon—Joab hath fled into the Tent of Yahweh, and, there he is, beside the altar. So Solomon sent Benaiah son of Jehoiada, saying—Go fall upon him!
30 Беная а ажунс ла кортул Домнулуй ши а зис луй Иоаб: „Ешь, кэч аша порунчеште ымпэратул!” Дар ел а рэспунс: „Ну! Вряу сэ мор аич.” Беная а спус лукрул ачеста ымпэратулуй, зикынд: „Аша а ворбит Иоаб ши аша мь-а рэспунс.”
And Benaiah came into the Tent of Yahweh, and said unto him—Thus, saith the king, Come forth! And he said—Nay! but, here, will I die! So Benaiah brought the king word again, saying, Thus, spake Joab, and, thus, he answered me.
31 Ымпэратул а зис луй Беная: „Фэ кум а зис, ловеште-л ши ынгроапэ-л; ши я астфел де песте мине ши де песте каса татэлуй меу сынӂеле пе каре л-а вэрсат Иоаб фэрэ темей.
And the king said to him—Do as he hath spoken, fall, then, upon him, and bury him, —and so put away the innocent blood, which Joab shed, from off me, and from off the house of my father;
32 Домнул ва фаче ка сынӂеле луй сэ кадэ асупра капулуй луй, пентру кэ а ловит пе дой бэрбаць май дрепць ши май бунь декыт ел ши й-а учис ку сабия, фэрэ сэ фи штиут татэл меу Давид: пе Абнер, фиул луй Нер, кэпетения оштирий луй Исраел, ши пе Амаса, фиул луй Иетер, кэпетения оштирий луй Иуда.
thus will Yahweh bring back his blood upon his own head, in that he fell upon two men more righteous and better than he, and slew them with the sword, my father David not knowing it, —even Abner son of Ner, general of the army of Israel, and Amasa son of Jether, general of the army of Judah;
33 Сынӂеле лор сэ кадэ песте капул луй Иоаб ши песте капул урмашилор луй пентру тотдяуна, дар Давид, сэмынца луй, каса луй ши скаунул луй де домние сэ айбэ парте де паче пе вечие дин партя Домнулуй.”
thus shall their blood come back upon the head of Joab, and upon the head of his seed unto times age-abiding, —but, David and his seed, and his house, and his throne, shall have peace, unto times age-abiding, from Yahweh.
34 Беная, фиул луй Иехоиада, с-а суит, а ловит пе Иоаб ши л-а оморыт. Ел а фост ынгропат ын каса луй, ын пустиу.
So Benaiah son of Jehoiada went up, and fell upon him, and put him to death, —and he was buried in his own house, in the wilderness.
35 Ымпэратул а пус ын фрунтя оштирий пе Беная, фиул луй Иехоиада, ын локул луй Иоаб, яр ын локул луй Абиатар а пус пе преотул Цадок.
And the king put Benaiah son of Jehoiada, in his stead, over the army, —and, Zadok the priest, did the king put in the stead of Abiathar.
36 Ымпэратул а кемат пе Шимей ши й-а зис: „Зидеште-ць о касэ ла Иерусалим: сэ локуешть ын еа ши сэ ну ешь дин еа ка сэ те дучь ынтр-о парте сау алта.
And the king sent, and called for Shimei, and said to him—Build thee a house, in Jerusalem, so shalt thou dwell there, —and shalt not go forth from thence, hither or thither;
37 Сэ штий бине кэ, ын зиуа кынд вей еши ши вей трече пырыул Кедрон, вей мури. Атунч, сынӂеле тэу ва кэдя асупра капулуй тэу.”
but it shall be that, on the day thou goest forth, and passest over the Kidron ravine, know, that thou shalt, die, —thy blood, shall be, upon thine own head.
38 Шимей а рэспунс ымпэратулуй: „Бине! Робул тэу ва фаче кум спуне домнул меу ымпэратул.” Ши Шимей а локуит мултэ време ла Иерусалим.
And Shimei said to the king—Good, is the word, as my lord the king hath spoken, so, will thy servant do. And Shimei dwelt in Jerusalem many days.
39 Дупэ трей ань, с-а ынтымплат кэ дой служиторь ай луй Шимей ау фуӂит ла Акиш, фиул луй Маака, ымпэратул Гатулуй. Ау дат де штире луй Шимей зикынд: „Ятэ кэ служиторий тэй сунт ла Гат.”
But it came to pass, at the end of three years, that two of the servants of Shimei fled unto Achish son of Maachah king of Gath, —and they told Shimei, saying—Lo! thy servants are in Gath.
40 Шимей с-а скулат, а пус шауа пе мэгар ши с-а дус ла Гат, ла Акиш, сэ-шь кауте служиторий. Шимей с-а дус ши шь-а адус ынапой служиторий дин Гат.
So Shimei arose, and saddled his ass, and went to Gath, unto Achish, to seek his servants—and Shimei went and brought in his servants, from Gath.
41 Ау дат де весте луй Соломон кэ Шимей а плекат дин Иерусалим ла Гат ши кэ с-а ынторс.
And it was told Solomon—Shimei hath been out of Jerusalem to Gath, and returned.
42 Ымпэратул а кемат пе Шимей ши й-а зис: „Ну те-ам пус еу сэ журь пе Домнул ши ну ць-ам спус еу хотэрыт: ‘Сэ штий кэ вей мури ын зиуа кынд вей еши сэ те дучь ынтр-о парте сау алта’? Ши ну мь-ай рэспунс ту: ‘Бине, ам ынцелес’?
Then sent the king and called for Shimei, and said unto him—Did I not put thee on oath by Yahweh, and adjure thee, saying—On the day thou goest forth and takest thy journey hither or thither, know, that thou shalt, die. Then saidst thou unto me—Good, is the word I have heard.
43 Пентру че атунч н-ай аскултат де журэмынтул Домнулуй ши де порунка пе каре ць-о дэдусем?”
Why then, hast thou not kept the oath of Yahweh, —and the charge which I laid upon thee?
44 Ши ымпэратул а зис луй Шимей: „Штий ынэунтрул инимий тале тот рэул пе каре л-ай фэкут татэлуй меу Давид; Домнул а ынторс рэутатя та асупра капулуй тэу.
Then said the king unto Shimei—Thou, knowest all the wickedness which thy heart is privy to, which thou didst unto David my father, —therefore shall Yahweh bring back thy wickedness, upon thine own head.
45 Дар ымпэратул Соломон ва фи бинекувынтат ши скаунул де домние ал луй Давид ва фи ынтэрит пе вечие ынаинтя Домнулуй.”
But, King Solomon, shall be blessed, —and, the throne of David, shall be established before Yahweh, unto times age-abiding.
46 Ши ымпэратул а порунчит луй Беная, фиул луй Иехоиада, каре а ешит ши а ловит пе Шимей, ши Шимей а мурит. Астфел, ымпэрэция с-а ынтэрит ын мыниле луй Соломон.
So the king charged Benaiah son of Jehoiada, and he went out and fell upon him, that he died, —and, the kingdom, was established in the hand of Solomon.
