1 Ымпэрацилор 13
1 Дар ятэ кэ ун ом ал луй Думнезеу а венит дин Иуда ла Бетел, тримис де кувынтул Домнулуй, токмай пе кынд стэтя Иеробоам ла алтар сэ ардэ тэмые.
And, behold, there came a man of God out of Judah by the word of the Lord unto Beth-el: while Jerobo'am was standing upon the altar to burn incense.
2 Ел а стригат ымпотрива алтарулуй, дупэ кувынтул Домнулуй, ши а зис: „Алтаруле! Алтаруле! Аша ворбеште Домнул: ‘Ятэ кэ се ва наште ун фиу касей луй Давид; нумеле луй ва фи Иосия; ел ва ынжунгия пе тине пе преоций ынэлцимилор каре ард тэмые пе тине, ши пе тине се вор арде осеминте оменешть!’”
And he called out against the altar by the word of the Lord, and he said, O altar, altar, thus hath said the Lord, Behold, a child shall be born unto the house of David, Josiah by name, and he shall sacrifice upon thee the priests of the high-places that burn incense upon thee, and men's bones shall be burnt upon thee.
3 Ши ын ачеяшь зи а дат ун семн зикынд: „Ачеста есте семнул каре аратэ кэ Домнул а ворбит: Алтарул се ва деспика ши ченуша де пе ел се ва вэрса.”
And he gave on the same day a token, saying, This is the token that the Lord hath spoken, Behold, the altar shall be rent, and the ashes which are upon it shall be spilled about.
4 Кынд а аузит ымпэратул кувынтул пе каре-л стригасе омул луй Думнезеу ымпотрива алтарулуй дин Бетел, а ынтинс мына де пе алтар, зикынд: „Приндеци-л!” Ши мына пе каре о ынтинсесе Иеробоам ымпотрива луй с-а ускат ши н-а путут с-о ынтоаркэ ынапой.
And it came to pass, when the king heard the word of the man of God, which he had called out against the altar in Beth-el, that Jerobo'am stretched forth his hand from off the altar, saying, Seize him. And his hand, which he had put forth against him, dried up, so that he could not draw it back to himself.
5 Алтарул с-а деспикат ши ченуша де пе ел с-а вэрсат, дупэ семнул пе каре-л дэдусе омул луй Думнезеу, потривит ку кувынтул Домнулуй.
The altar also was rent, and the ashes were spilled about from the altar, according to the token which the man of God had given by the word of the Lord.
6 Атунч, ымпэратул а луат кувынтул ши а зис омулуй луй Думнезеу: „Роагэ-те Домнулуй Думнезеулуй тэу ши чере-Й сэ-мь пот траӂе мына ынапой.” Омул луй Думнезеу с-а ругат Домнулуй ши ымпэратул а путут сэ-шь трагэ ынапой мына, каре с-а фэкут сэнэтоасэ ка май ынаинте.
And the king commenced and said unto the man of God, Offer but entreaty before the Lord thy God, and pray in behalf of me, that my hand may return to me again. And the man of God offered his entreaty before the Lord, and the king's hand returned to him again, and became as it was before.
7 Ымпэратул а зис омулуй луй Думнезеу: „Интрэ ку мине ын касэ, сэ ей чева де мынкаре, ши-ць вой да ун дар.”
And the king spoke unto the man of God, Come home with me, and take some refreshment, and I will give thee a present.
8 Омул луй Думнезеу а зис ымпэратулуй: „Жумэтате дин каса та сэ-мь дай, ши н-аш интра ку тине. Ну вой мынка пыне ши ну вой бя апэ ын локул ачеста,
But the man of God said unto the king, If thou wert to give me the half of thy house, I would not go in with thee, neither would I eat bread nor drink water in this place;
9 кэч ятэ че порункэ мь-а фост датэ прин кувынтул Домнулуй: ‘Сэ ну мэнынчь пыне, нич сэ ну бей апэ ши нич сэ ну те ынторчь пе друмул пе каре те вей дуче.’”
For so was it charged me by the word of the Lord, saying, Thou shalt not eat bread, nor drink water, nor return by the way that thou camest.
10 Ел а плекат пе ун алт друм ши ну с-а ынторс пе друмул пе каре венисе ла Бетел.
So he went by another way, and returned not by the way on which he was come to Beth-el.
11 Ын Бетел локуя ун пророк бэтрын. Фиий сэй ау венит ши й-ау историсит тоате лукруриле пе каре ле фэкусе омул луй Думнезеу ла Бетел ын зиуа ачея, прекум ши кувинтеле пе каре ле спусесе ымпэратулуй. Дупэ че ау историсит татэлуй лор тоате,
Now there dwelt a certain old prophet in Beth-el; and his son came and told him all the deed that the man of God had done that day in Beth-el: the words [also] which he had spoken unto the king, these too they told to their father.
12 ел ле-а зис: „Пе че друм а плекат?” Фиий сэй вэзусерэ пе че друм плекасе омул луй Думнезеу каре венисе дин Иуда.
And their father spoke unto them, What way did he go? His sons however had seen what way had gone the man of God, who had come from Judah.
13 Ши а зис фиилор сэй: „Пунеци-мь шауа пе мэгар.” Й-ау пус шауа пе мэгар ши а ынкэлекат пе ел.
And he said unto his sons, Saddle me the ass. So they saddled him the ass, and he rode away thereon,
14 С-а дус дупэ омул луй Думнезеу ши л-а гэсит стынд суб ун стежар. Ши й-а зис: „Ту ешть омул луй Думнезеу каре а венит дин Иуда?” Ел а рэспунс: „Еу сунт.”
And he went after the man of God, and found him sitting under the oak; and he said unto him, Art thou the man of God that camest from Judah? And he said, I am.
15 Атунч, ел й-а зис: „Вино ку мине акасэ ши сэ ей чева сэ мэнынчь.”
Then said he unto him, Come with me home, and eat bread.
16 Дар ел а рэспунс: „Ну пот нич сэ мэ ынторк ку тине, нич сэ интру ла тине. Ну вой мынка пыне ши нич ну вой бя апэ ку тине ын локул ачеста,
And he said, I cannot return with thee, nor go in with thee: neither will I eat bread nor drink water with thee in this place;
17 кэч ми с-а спус прин кувынтул Домнулуй: ‘Сэ ну мэнынчь пыне, нич сэ ну бей апэ аколо ши нич сэ ну те ынторчь пе друмул пе каре те вей дуче.’”
For a command came to me by the word of the Lord, Thou shalt not eat bread nor drink water there; thou shalt not return to go by the way [also] by which thou camest.
18 Ши ел й-а зис: „Ши еу сунт пророк ка тине; ши ун ынӂер мь-а ворбит дин партя Домнулуй ши мь-а зис: ‘Аду-л акасэ ку тине ка сэ мэнынче пыне ши сэ бя апэ.’” Ыл минця.
And he said unto him, I also am a prophet like thee; and an angel spoke unto me by the word of the Lord, saying, Bring him back with thee unto thy house, that he may eat bread and drink water. But he lied unto him.
19 Омул луй Думнезеу с-а ынторс ку ел ши а мынкат пыне ши а бэут апэ ын каса луй.
So he returned with him, and ate bread in his house, and drank water.
20 Пе кынд стэтяу ей ла масэ, кувынтул Домнулуй а ворбит пророкулуй каре-л адусесе ынапой.
And it came to pass, as they were sitting at the table, That the word of the Lord came unto the prophet who had brought him back;
21 Ши ел а стригат омулуй луй Думнезеу каре венисе дин Иуда: „Аша ворбеште Домнул: ‘Пентру кэ н-ай аскултат порунка Домнулуй ши н-ай пэзит порунка пе каре ць-о дэдусе Домнул Думнезеул тэу,
And he called unto the man of God that was come from Judah, saying, Thus hath said the Lord, Forasmuch as thou hast disobeyed the order of the Lord, and hast not kept the commandment which the Lord thy God had commanded thee;
22 пентру кэ те-ай ынторс ши ай мынкат пыне ши ай бэут апэ ын локул деспре каре ыць спусесе: «Сэ ну мэнынчь пыне ши сэ ну бей апэ аколо», трупул тэу морт ну ва интра ын мормынтул пэринцилор тэй.’”
But didst return, and hast eaten bread and drunk water in the place, of which he had spoken to thee, Thou shalt not eat bread, nor drink water: thy dead body shall not come unto the sepulchre of thy fathers.
23 Ши, дупэ че а мынкат пыне ши а бэут апэ пророкул пе каре-л ынторсесе, й-а пус шауа пе мэгар.
And it came to pass, after he had eaten bread, and after he had drunk, that he saddled for him the ass, [to wit, ] for the prophet whom he had brought back.
24 Омул луй Думнезеу а плекат ши а фост ынтылнит пе друм де ун леу каре л-а оморыт. Трупул луй морт ера ынтинс пе друм; мэгарул а рэмас лынгэ ел ши леул стэтя ши ел лынгэ труп.
And when he was gone, a lion met him on the way, and slew him; and his corpse remained cast down on the way, and the ass stood by it, the lion also stood by the corpse.
25 Ши ниште оамень каре тречяу пе аколо ау вэзут трупул ынтинс ын друм ши леул стынд лынгэ труп ши ау спус лукрул ачеста ла вениря лор ын четатя ын каре локуя пророкул чел бэтрын.
And, behold, men passed by, and saw the corpse cast down on the way, and the lion standing by the corpse; and they came and spoke of it in the city where the old prophet dwelt.
26 Кынд а аузит лукрул ачеста, пророкул каре ынторсесе де пе друм пе омул луй Думнезеу а зис: „Есте омул луй Думнезеу каре н-а аскултат де порунка Домнулуй, ши Домнул л-а дат ын гяреле леулуй, каре л-а сфышият ши л-а оморыт дупэ кувынтул пе каре и-л спусесе Домнул.”
And when the prophet that had brought him back from the way heard it, he said, It is the man of God who was disobedient unto the order of the Lord; wherefore the Lord hath given him up unto the lion, who hath torn him, and slain him, according to the word of the Lord, which he had spoken unto him.
27 Апой, ындрептынду-се кэтре фиий сэй, а зис: „Пунеци-мь шауа пе мэгар.” Ау пус шауа пе мэгар
And he spoke to his sons, saying, Saddle me the ass. And they saddled him.
28 ши ел а плекат. А гэсит трупул ынтинс ын друм ши мэгарул ши леул стынд лынгэ труп. Леул ну мынкасе трупул ши ну сфышиясе пе мэгар.
And he went and found his corpse cast down on the way, and the ass and the lion standing by the corpse: the lion had not eaten the corpse, nor torn the ass.
29 Пророкул а ридикат трупул омулуй луй Думнезеу, л-а пус пе мэгар ши л-а адус ынапой; ши бэтрынул пророк с-а ынторс ын четате сэ-л желяскэ ши сэ-л ынгроапе.
And the prophet took up the corpse of the man of God, and laid it upon the ass, and brought it back; and he came to the city of the old prophet, to lament for, and to bury him.
30 Й-а пус трупул ын мормынт ши л-а желит зикынд: „Вай, фрате!”
And he laid his corpse in his own sepulchre; and they lamented over him, “Alas, my brother!”
31 Дупэ че л-а ынгропат, а зис фиилор сэй: „Кынд вой мури, сэ мэ ынгропаць ын мормынтул ын каре есте ынгропат омул луй Думнезеу; сэ-мь пунець оаселе лынгэ оаселе луй.
And it came to pass, after he had buried him, that he spoke to his sons, saying, When I am dead, then bury me in the sepulchre wherein the man of God is buried; beside his bones lay ye my bones;
32 Кэч се ва ымплини кувынтул пе каре л-а стригат ел дин партя Домнулуй ымпотрива алтарулуй дин Бетел ши ымпотрива тутурор капиштилор де ынэлцимь дин четэциле Самарией.”
For the thing which he called out by the word of the Lord against the altar which is in Beth-el, and against all the houses of the high-places which are in the cities of Samaria, will surely come to pass.
33 Дупэ ынтымпларя ачаста, Иеробоам ну с-а абэтут де пе каля луй чя ря. А пус ярэшь преоць пентру ынэлцимь, луаць дин тот попорул – пе орьчине доря, ыл сфинця преот ал ынэлцимилор.
After this event Jerobo'am returned not from his evil way; but made again of the lowest of the people priests of the high-places: whosoever desired it, he consecrated, that he might become one of the priests of the high-places.
34 Ши фапта ачаста а фост ун прилеж де пэкэтуире пентру каса луй Иеробоам ши пентру ачаста а фост нимичитэ еа ши штярсэ де пе фаца пэмынтулуй.
And he became through this thing the cause of sin unto the house of Jerobo'am, and to cause that it was blotted out, and destroyed from off the face of the earth.
