1 Дупэ ачея, Давид а бэтут пе филистень ши й-а смерит ши а луат дин мына филистенилор Гатул ши сателе луй.
And it canto to pass, after this, that David smote the Philistines, and subdued them, —and took Gath and her villages, out of the hand of the Philistines.
2 А бэтут пе моабиць, ши моабиций ау фост супушь луй Давид ши й-ау плэтит ун бир.
And he smote Moab, —and the Moabites became servants to David, bearers of a present.
3 Давид а бэтут пе Хадарезер, ымпэратул Цобей, спре Хамат, кынд с-а дус сэ-шь ашезе стэпыниря песте рыул Еуфрат.
And David smote Hadarezer king of Zobah, towards Hamath, —as he went to establish his hold of the river Euphrates.
4 Давид й-а луат о мие де каре, шапте мий де кэлэрець ши доуэзечь де мий де педестрашь; а тэят винеле тутурор каилор де трэсурь ши н-а пэстрат декыт о сутэ де каре.
And David captured from him a thousand chariots, and seven thousand horsemen, and twenty thousand footmen, —and David destroyed all the chariots, saving that he reserved from them a hundred chariots.
5 Сириений дин Дамаск ау венит ын ажуторул луй Хадарезер, ымпэратул Цобей, ши Давид а бэтут доуэзечь ши доуэ де мий де сириень.
And, when the Syrians of Damascus came to help Hadarezer king of Zobah, David smote of the Syrians, twenty-two thousand men.
6 Давид а пус о стражэ де ошть ын Сирия Дамаскулуй. Ши сириений ау фост супушь луй Давид ши й-ау плэтит бир. Домнул окротя пе Давид орьунде мерӂя.
And David put [garrisons] in Syria of Damascus, and so it was that the Syrians became, David’s, servants, bearers of a present, —so Yahweh gave victory to David, whithersoever he went.
7 Ши Давид а луат скутуриле де аур пе каре ле авяу служиторий луй Хадарезер ши ле-а адус ла Иерусалим.
And David took the shields of gold, that were upon the servants of Hadarezer, —and brought them to Jerusalem;
8 Давид а май луат мултэ арамэ дин Тибхат ши дин Кун, четэциле луй Хадарезер. Соломон а фэкут дин еа маря де арамэ, стылпий ши унелтеле де арамэ.
also, from Tibhath and from Cun, cities of Hadarezer, David took very much bronze, —therewith, did Solomon make the sea of bronze, and the pillars, and the vessels of bronze.
9 Тоху, ымпэратул Хаматулуй, а аузит кэ Давид бэтусе тоатэ оштиря луй Хадарезер, ымпэратул Цобей,
And, when Tou, king of Hamath, heard that David had smitten all the force of Hadarezer king of Zobah,
10 ши а тримис пе фиул сэу Хадорам ла ымпэратул Давид сэ-й урезе де бине ши сэ-л лауде кэ а луптат ымпотрива луй Хадарезер ши л-а бэтут. Кэч Тоху ера ын рэзбой ку Хадарезер. А тримис, де асеменя, тот фелул де васе де аур, де арӂинт ши де арамэ.
he sent Hadoram his son unto King David, to ask after his welfare, and to bless him, because he had made war against Hadarezer and had smitten him, for, a man making wars against Tou, had been Hadarezer, —and [he had with him] all manner of vessels of gold and silver and bronze;
11 Ымпэратул Давид ле-а ынкинат Домнулуй, ымпреунэ ку арӂинтул ши аурул пе каре-л луасе де ла тоате попоареле, де ла Едом, де ла Моаб, де ла фиий луй Амон, де ла филистень ши де ла Амалек.
them also, did King David hallow unto Yahweh, with the silver and the gold, that he bare away from all the nations, —from Edom, and from Moab, and from the sons of Ammon, and from the Philistines, and from Amalek.
12 Абишай, фиул Церуей, а бэтут ын Валя Сэрий оптспрезече мий де едомиць.
Moreover, Abishai, son of Zeruiah, smote Edom, in the Valley of Salt, —eighteen thousand;
13 А пус ошть де стражэ ын Едом ши тот Едомул а фост супус луй Давид. Домнул окротя пе Давид орьунде мерӂя.
and set, in Edom, garrisons, and all Edom became servants unto David, —and Yahweh gave David the victory, whithersoever he went.
14 Давид а домнит песте тот Исраелул ши фэчя жудекатэ ши дрептате ла тот попорул сэу.
So David reigned over all Israel, —and he was executing justice and righteousness for all his people;
15 Иоаб, фиул Церуей, ера май-маре песте оштире; Иосафат, фиул луй Ахилуд, ера скриитор;
and, Joab, son of Zeruiah, was over the army, —and, Jehoshaphat, son of Elihud, was recorder;
16 Цадок, фиул луй Ахитуб, ши Абимелек, фиул луй Абиатар, ерау преоць; Шавша ера логофэт;
and, Zadok, son of Ahitub, and Abimelech son of Abiathar, were priests, —and, Shavsha, was scribe;
17 Беная, фиул луй Иехоиада, ера кэпетения керетицилор ши а пелетицилор ши фиий луй Давид ерау чей динтый пе лынгэ ымпэрат.
and, Benaiah, son of Jehoiada, was over the Cherethites, and the Pelethites, —and, the sons of David, were first, in attendance on the king.
