Zaharia 13
1 În acea zi se va deschide o fântână casei lui David şi locuitorilor Ierusalimului, pentru păcat şi pentru necurăţie.
On that day a fountain will be opened for the house of David, and for the inhabitants of Jerusalem, for sin and for uncleanness.
2 Şi se va întâmpla în acea zi, spune DOMNUL oştirilor, că voi stârpi din ţară numele idolilor şi ei nu vor mai fi amintiţi; şi de asemenea voi face pe profeţi şi duhul necurat să iasă din ţară.
And it will be on that day, says the Lord of hosts, I will cut off the names of the idols from the land and they will be remembered no more. And the prophets and the unclean spirit I will banish from the land.
3 Şi se va întâmpla când cineva va mai profeţi că, tatăl său şi mama sa, care l-au născut, îi vor spune: Nu vei trăi, pentru că vorbeşti minciuni în numele DOMNULUI; şi tatăl său şi mama sa, care l-au născut, îl vor străpunge când el profeţeşte.
If any man prophesy any more, his father and his mother who bore him, will say to him, “You will not live, for you speak falsehood in the name of the Lord.” And his father and his mother who bore him will stab him through when he is seized by the prophetic frenzy.
4 Şi se va întâmpla în acea zi că, profeţii vor fi ruşinaţi, fiecare de viziunea lui, după ce va fi profeţit; nici nu vor mai purta ei o îmbrăcăminte aspră pentru a înşela;
And it will be in that day that the prophets will be ashamed, each of his vision, and will not wear the hairy mantle in order to deceive.
5 Ci el va spune: Nu sunt profet, sunt agricultor, pentru că un om m-a învăţat să păzesc vite din tinereţea mea.
Each will say, “I am not a prophet, a tiller of the ground am I, for the ground is my possession from my youth.”
6 Şi cineva îi va spune: Ce sunt aceste răni în mâinile tale? Atunci el va răspunde: Acelea cu care am fost rănit în casa prietenilor mei.
And they will say to him, “What are these scars on your back?” And he will say, “The scars which I received in the house of my friends.”
7 Trezeşte-te, sabie, împotriva păstorului meu şi împotriva omului care este tovarăşul meu, spune DOMNUL oştirilor; loveşte păstorul, şi oile vor fi împrăştiate; şi eu îmi voi întoarce mâna asupra micuţilor.
Awake, sword, against my shepherd, against the man who stands near to me, says the Lord of hosts. I will strike the shepherd so that the sheep may be scattered, I will turn my hand against the little ones.
8 Şi se va întâmpla în toată ţara, spune DOMNUL, că două părţi din ea vor fi stârpiţi şi vor muri, dar a treia parte va rămâne în ea.
In all the land, says the Lord, two-thirds in it will be cut off and die, but a third will be left in it.
9 Şi eu voi duce a treia parte prin foc şi îi voi curăţa precum argintul este curăţat şi îi voi încerca precum aurul este încercat; ei vor chema numele meu şi eu îi voi asculta; voi spune: Acesta este poporul meu; iar ei vor spune: DOMNUL este Dumnezeul meu.
I will bring the third into the fire, and melt it as one melts silver, and test it as one tests gold. Then they will call on my name, and I myself will answer them. I will say, “They are my people.” They will say, “The Lord is our God.”
