Romani 5
1 De aceea, fiind declarați drepți prin credință, avem pace cu Dumnezeu prin Domnul nostru Isus Cristos;
Therefore, being justified by faith, we have peace with God through our Lord Jesus Christ,
2 Prin care de asemenea avem acces prin credință la acest har, în care stăm și ne bucurăm în speranța gloriei lui Dumnezeu.
through whom we have had access, by faith, into this grace in which we stand; and we rejoice in hope of the glory of God.
3 Și nu numai, dar ne lăudăm și în necazuri, știind că necazul lucrează răbdare,
And not only so, but we rejoice in afflictions also; because we know that affliction produces patience,
4 Și răbdarea, experiență; iar experiența, speranță;
and patience, an approved character, and an approved character, hope;
5 Și speranța nu face de rușine, pentru că dragostea lui Dumnezeu se varsă în inimile noastre prin Duhul Sfânt, care ne este dat.
and this hope disappoints us not; because the love of God is poured abundantly into our hearts through the Holy Spirit that is given to us.
6 Fiindcă, pe când eram noi încă fără putere, la timpul cuvenit Cristos a murit pentru cei neevlavioși.
For when we were yet without strength, at the appointed time, Christ died for the ungodly.
7 Căci cu greu ar muri vreunul pentru un om drept; totuși pentru un om bun, poate ar cuteza cineva să moară.
For hardly, indeed, will one die for a just man; yet, perhaps, for the good man some one would even dare to die.
8 Dar Dumnezeu își arată dragostea față de noi, în aceea că, pe când eram noi încă păcătoși, Cristos a murit pentru noi.
But God makes known his love to us in this, that while we were yet sinners, Christ died for us:
9 Așadar cu atât mai mult, fiind acum declarați drepți prin sângele lui, vom fi salvați de la furie prin el.
much more, then, since we are now justified by his blood, we shall be saved from the wrath through him.
10 Căci, dacă, dușmani fiind, am fost împăcați cu Dumnezeu prin moartea Fiului său, cu atât mai mult, fiind împăcați, vom fi salvați prin viața lui.
For if, while we were enemies, we were reconciled to God by the death of his Son, much more, having been reconciled, shall we be saved by his life.
11 Și nu numai [atât], dar ne și bucurăm în Dumnezeu prin Domnul nostru Isus Cristos, prin care am primit acum împăcarea.
And not only so, but we rejoice in God through our Lord Jesus Christ, by whom we have now received the reconciliation.
12 Din această cauză, așa cum printr-un singur om a intrat păcatul în lume și moartea prin păcat; și astfel moartea a trecut asupra tuturor oamenilor, pentru că toți au păcătuit;
For this reason, as by one man sin entered into the world, and by his sin, death; and so death passed through to all men, because all have sinned:
13 (Fiindcă până la lege păcatul era în lume; dar păcatul nu este imputat când nu este lege.
for till the law, sin was in the world; but sin is not charged where there is no law.
14 Cu toate acestea moartea a domnit de la Adam până la Moise, chiar [și] asupra celor ce nu păcătuiseră după asemănarea încălcării lui Adam, care este prefigurarea celui ce avea să vină.
Yet death reigned from Adam to Moses, even over them that did not sin in the likeness of Adam’s transgression, who is the type of him that was to come.
15 Dar, și darul nu este precum greșeala! Căci, dacă prin greșeala unuia mulți sunt morți, cu mult mai mult harul lui Dumnezeu și darul prin har, [care] este printr-un singur om, Isus Cristos, a abundat pentru mulți.
But the favor bestowed is not, in all respects, like the offense: for if, by the offense of one, the many have died, much more have the grace of God and the gift which is by the grace of the one man Jesus Christ, been made abundant for the many.
16 Și darul nu este ca printr-unul care a păcătuit. Fiindcă judecata a fost prin unul spre condamnare, dar darul este din multe greșeli spre justificare.
And the gift is not like the sentence that came through one who sinned: for the sentence to condemnation was because of one offense; but the favor bestowed in order to justification, is because of many offenses.
17 Căci dacă prin greșeala unuia moartea a domnit prin unul; cu mult mai mult, cei ce primesc abundență de har și din darul dreptății vor domni în viață prin unul, Isus Cristos).
For if, by one man’s offense, death has reigned through that one, much more shall those who receive the abundance of the grace, and of the gift of righteousness, reign in life through the one, who is Jesus Christ.
18 Așadar, precum prin greșeala unuia a venit judecată peste toți oamenii pentru condamnare, tot așa, prin dreptatea unuia, darul a venit peste toți oamenii pentru justificarea vieții.
Therefore, as, by one offense, sentence came on all men to condemnation, so, also, by one act of righteousness, the gift has come on all men to justification of life.
19 Fiindcă după cum prin neascultarea unui om, mulți au fost făcuți păcătoși, tot așa, prin ascultarea unuia, mulți vor fi făcuți drepți.
For as by the disobedience of the one man the many have been made sinners, so, also, by the obedience of the one, the many shall be made righteous.
20 Mai mult, legea a intrat ca greșeala să abunde. Dar unde păcatul a abundat, harul a abundat [și] mai mult;
But, besides the first offense, law was introduced, in order that offenses might abound: but where sin abounded, grace did much more abound:
21 Pentru ca, așa cum păcatul a domnit pentru moarte, tot așa harul să domnească prin dreptate pentru viață eternă prin Isus Cristos Domnul nostru. (aiōnios g166)
that as sin has reigned, ending in death, so might grace reign by justification, ending in life eternal, through Jesus Christ our Lord. (aiōnios g166)
