Romani 15

1 Iar noi, cei puternici, suntem datori să purtăm neputințele celor slabi și să nu ne plăcem nouă înșine.

We then who are strong, ought to bear the infirmity of the weak, and not to please ourselves.

2 Fiecare dintre noi să placă aproapelui pentru bine, spre edificare.

But each of us should please his neighbor, in good things, as conducive to edification.

3 Fiindcă până și Cristos nu și-a plăcut lui însuși, ci așa cum este scris: Ocările celor ce te-au ocărât au căzut peste mine.

Because Messiah also did not please himself; but, as it is written: The reviling of thy revilers fell upon me.

4 Fiindcă toate câte au fost scrise înainte, au fost scrise pentru învățătura noastră, ca prin răbdarea și mângâierea scripturilor să avem speranță.

For every thing written of old, was written for our instruction; that we, by patience and by the consolation of the scriptures, might possess hope.

5 Iar Dumnezeul răbdării și al mângâierii să vă dea aceeași gândire unii față de alții, conform lui Cristos Isus;

And may the God of patience and of consolation, grant to you, to think in harmony one with another, in Jesus Messiah;

6 Ca voi, cu o minte și cu o gură să glorificați pe Dumnezeu, adică pe Tatăl Domnului nostru Isus Cristos.

so that with one mind and one mouth, ye may glorify God, the Father of our Lord Jesus Messiah.

7 De aceea primiți-vă unii pe alții, așa cum ne-a primit și Cristos pe noi, pentru gloria lui Dumnezeu.

Wherefore, receive ye and bear up one another, as also Messiah received you, to the glory of God.

8 Și spun că Isus Cristos a fost un servitor al circumciziei pentru adevărul lui Dumnezeu, pentru a întări promisiunile făcute părinților;

Now I say, that Jesus Messiah ministered to the circumcision, in behalf of the truth of God, in order to confirm the promise made to the fathers;

9 Și ca neamurile să glorifice pe Dumnezeu pentru mila lui; așa cum este scris: Din această cauză îți voi aduce mărturie printre neamuri și voi cânta numelui tău.

and that the Gentiles might glorify God for his mercies upon them, as it is written: I will confess to thee among the Gentiles, and to thy name will I sing psalms.

10 Și din nou spune: Bucurați-vă voi neamuri cu poporul lui.

And again he said: Rejoice, ye Gentiles, with his people.

11 Și din nou: Lăudați pe Domnul voi toate neamurile; și aclamați-l toate popoarele.

And again he said: Praise the Lord, all ye Gentiles; and laud him, all ye nations.

12 Și din nou, Isaia spune: Va fi o rădăcină a lui Isai și cel ce se va scula să domnească peste neamuri: în el se vor încrede neamurile.

And again Isaiah said: There will be a root of Jesse; and he that shall arise, will be a prince for the Gentiles; and in him will the Gentiles hope.

13 Și Dumnezeul speranței să vă umple de toată bucuria și pacea în a crede, pentru ca voi să abundați în speranță prin puterea Duhului Sfânt.

Now may the God of hope fill you with all joy and peace, by faith; that ye may abound in his hope, by the power of the Holy Spirit.

14 Și eu însumi, de asemenea, sunt convins despre voi, frații mei, că și voi sunteți plini de bunătate, umpluți cu toată cunoașterea, în stare să vă și avertizați unii pe alții.

Now I am persuaded, my Brethren, even I, concerning you; that ye too are full of goodness, and are replenished with all knowledge, and are able also to instruct others.

15 Totuși, fraților, v-am scris mai cutezător, în parte ca să vă aduc aminte, din cauza harului care mi-a fost dat de Dumnezeu,

Yet I have written rather boldly to you, my Brethren, that I might put you in remembrance; because of the grace which is given to me by God,

16 Ca eu să fiu servitorul lui Isus Cristos pentru neamuri, servind evanghelia lui Dumnezeu, pentru ca oferirea ca ofrandă a neamurilor să fie bine primită, fiind sfințită prin Duhul Sfânt.

that I should be a minister of Jesus Messiah among the Gentiles, and should subserve the gospel of God, that the oblation of the Gentiles might be acceptable, and be sanctified by the Holy Spirit.

17 Eu am așadar cu ce să mă fălesc în Isus Cristos, în cele ce se referă la Dumnezeu.

I have therefore a glorying in Jesus Messiah, before God.

18 Fiindcă nu voi cuteza să vorbesc despre niciunul dintre acele lucruri pe care Cristos nu le-a lucrat prin mine, spre ascultarea neamurilor, prin cuvânt și faptă,

Yet I presume not to speak of any thing done for the obedience of the Gentiles, which Messiah hath not wrought by me, in word and in deeds,

19 Prin puterea semnelor și minunilor, prin puterea Duhului lui Dumnezeu; încât, de la Ierusalim și în jur, până în Iliria, eu am predicat pe deplin evanghelia lui Cristos.

by the power of signs and wonders, and by the power of the Holy Spirit; so that from Jerusalem I have made a circuit quite to Illyricum, and have fulfilled the announcement of the Messiah;

20 Da, așa m-am străduit să predic evanghelia, nu [acolo] unde Cristos fusese numit, ca nu cumva să zidesc peste temelia altui om;

while I was careful not to preach where the name of Messiah had been invoked, lest I should build upon another man's foundation;

21 Ci așa cum este scris: Aceia cărora nu li s-a spus despre el, îl vor vedea; și cei ce nu au auzit vor înțelege.

but, it is written: They, to whom mention of him had not been made, will see him; and they, who had not heard, will be obedient.

22 Din cauza aceasta am și fost împiedicat mult să vin la voi.

And on this account, I have been many times prevented from coming to you.

23 Dar acum, nemaiavând loc în aceste ținuturi, și având în acești mulți ani o mare dorință să vin la voi,

But now, since I have no place in these regions, and as I have been desirous for many years past to come to you,

24 Dacă vreodată voi merge în Spania, voi veni la voi, fiindcă sper să vă văd în călătoria mea și să fiu condus de voi într-acolo, dacă mai întâi voi fi puțin îndestulat cu prezența voastră.

when I go to Spain, I hope to come and see you; and that ye will accompany me thither, when I shall have been satisfied, in some measure, with visiting you.

25 Dar acum, mă duc la Ierusalim să servesc sfinților.

But I am now going to Jerusalem, to minister to the saints.

26 Fiindcă toți cei din Macedonia și Ahaia au binevoit să facă o anume strângere de ajutoare pentru sfinții săraci, care sunt în Ierusalim;

For they of Macedonia and Achaia, have been willing to make up a contribution for the needy saints who are at Jerusalem.

27 Într-adevăr, au binevoit și le sunt datori. Căci dacă neamurile au fost făcute părtașe la lucrurile lor spirituale, este și datoria neamurilor să le servească în cele carnale.

They were willing, because they were also debtors to them: for if the Gentiles have been participators with them in the Spirit, they are debtors to serve them also in things of the flesh.

28 Așadar, după ce voi împlini aceasta și le voi sigila acest rod, voi trece pe la voi spre Spania.

When therefore, I shall have accomplished this, and shall have sealed to them this fruit, I will pass by you into Spain.

29 Și sunt sigur, când voi veni la voi, că voi veni în plinătatea binecuvântării evangheliei lui Cristos.

And I know that when I come to you, I shall come in the fullness of the blessing of the gospel of Messiah.

30 Dar vă implor, fraților, datorită Domnului nostru Isus Cristos și datorită dragostei Duhului, să vă străduiți împreună cu mine în rugăciuni către Dumnezeu pentru mine;

And I beseech you, my Brethren, by our Lord Jesus Messiah, and by the love of the Spirit, that ye labor with me in prayer to God for me;

31 Ca să fiu scăpat de cei din Iudeea care nu cred, și pentru ca serviciul pe care îl am pentru Ierusalim să fie bine primit de sfinți;

that I may be delivered from them in Judaea, who believe not and that the ministration, which I carry to the saints in Jerusalem, may be well received;

32 Ca să vin la voi cu bucurie prin voia lui Dumnezeu și să fiu înviorat cu voi.

and that, by the good pleasure of God, I may come to you with joy, and may take comfort with you.

33 Și Dumnezeul păcii fie cu voi toți. Amin.

And may the God of peace be with you all: Amen.
