Apocolipsa 2
1 Îngerului bisericii din Efes, scrie-i: Acestea le spune cel ce ține cele șapte stele în mâna sa dreaptă, cel ce umblă în mijlocul celor șapte sfeșnice de aur;
To the angel who is in the church at Ephesus write; The one holding the seven stars in his right hand, the one walking about in the midst of the golden candlesticks, says these things;
2 Știu faptele tale și munca ta și răbdarea ta și că nu poți suferi pe cei răi; și i-ai încercat pe cei care spun că sunt apostoli dar nu sunt, și i-ai găsit mincinoși;
I know your works, and your labor, and your patience, and that you are not able to bear the wicked; and you have tried those who say they are apostles, and are not, and have found them to be liars:
3 Și ai suferit și ai răbdare și pentru numele meu ai muncit și nu ai căzut de oboseală.
and you have patience and have borne with them for my name's sake, and have not fainted.
4 Cu toate acestea am ceva împotriva ta, pentru că ți-ai părăsit dragostea dintâi.
But I have something against you, because you have left your first love.
5 De aceea amintește-ți de unde ai căzut și pocăiește-te și fă faptele dintâi; altfel, voi veni dintr-odată la tine și îți voi lua sfeșnicul din locul lui dacă nu te pocăiești.
Remember therefore whence you have fallen, and repent, and do your first works; lest I come to you, and shall move your candlestick out of its place, if you do not repent.
6 Dar ai aceasta, că urăști faptele nicolaiților, pe care și eu le urăsc.
But you have this, that you hate the works of the Nicolaitans, which I also hate.
7 Cel ce are ureche, să asculte ce spune Duhul bisericilor: Celui ce învinge îi voi da să mănânce din pomul vieții, care este în mijlocul paradisului lui Dumnezeu.
Let the one having ears, hear what the Spirit says to the churches; to him who conquers I will give to eat of the tree of life, which is in the Paradise of God.
8 Și îngerului bisericii din Smirna, scrie-i: Acestea le spune cel dintâi și cel de pe urmă, care a fost mort dar este viu;
And to the angel of the church in Smyrna write; The first and the last, who was dead, and is alive, says these things:
9 Știu faptele tale și necazul și sărăcia (dar ești bogat), și blasfemia acelora care spun că sunt iudei dar nu sunt, ci sunt sinagoga lui Satan.
I know your tribulations, and your poverty, but you are rich; and I know the blasphemy of those who say they are Jews, and they are not, but are the synagogue of Satan.
10 Nu te teme de niciunul dintre acele lucruri pe care le vei suferi; iată, diavolul va arunca pe unii dintre voi în închisoare, ca să fiți încercați; și veți avea necaz zece zile; fii credincios până la moarte și îți voi da coroana vieții.
Fear not those things which you are about to suffer. Behold, the devil is about to cast some of you into prison, that you may be tested; and you shall have tribulation ten days. Be faithful until death, and I will give you a crown of life.
11 Cel ce are ureche, să asculte ce spune Duhul bisericilor: Cel ce învinge nu va fi nicidecum vătămat de moartea a doua.
Let the one having ears, hear what the Spirit says to the churches; The one conquering can never be hurt by the second death.
12 Și îngerului bisericii din Pergam, scrie-i: Acestea le spune cel ce are sabia ascuțită, cu două tăișuri;
To the angel of the church in Pergamum write; The one having the sharp, two-edged sword says these things;
13 Știu faptele tale și unde locuiești, unde este tronul lui Satan; și ții tare numele meu și nu ai negat credința mea, chiar în acele zile în care Antipa era martirul meu credincios, care a fost ucis printre voi, unde locuiește Satan.
I know where you dwell, where the throne of Satan is: and you are holding fast my name, and did not deny my faith, in the days when Antipas was my faithful martyr, who was slain among you, where Satan dwells.
14 Dar am câteva lucruri împotriva ta, pentru că ai acolo pe cei ce țin tare doctrina lui Balaam, care îl învăța pe Balac să arunce o poticnire înaintea copiilor lui Israel, pentru a mânca lucruri sacrificate idolilor și pentru a curvi.
But I have a few things against thee, because thou hast there those holding the teachings of Balaam, who taught Balak to cast a stumblingblock before the sons of Israel, and to eat things sacrificed to idols, and to commit fornication.
15 Tot așa, tu ai și pe cei ce țin tare doctrina nicolaiților, pe care eu o urăsc.
So you also have those in a similar manner holding the teaching of the Nicolaitans.
16 Pocăiește-te; altfel, voi veni la tine dintr-odată și voi lupta împotriva lor cu sabia gurii mele.
Repent; otherwise I am coming to you quickly, and will fight against them with the sword of my mouth.
17 Cel ce are ureche, să asculte ce spune Duhul bisericilor: Celui ce învinge îi voi da să mănânce din mana ascunsă și îi voi da o piatră albă, și pe piatră este scris un nume nou, pe care nimeni nu îl știe, decât cel ce îl primește.
Let the one having ears hear what the Spirit says to the churches; unto the one conquering will I give to him of the hidden manna, and I will give him a white stone, and on the stone my new name having been written, which no one knows but the one receiving it.
18 Și îngerului bisericii din Tiatira, scrie-i: Acestea le spune Fiul lui Dumnezeu, care are ochii săi ca flacăra focului și picioarele sale asemănătoare aramei fine;
And to the angel of the church among the Thyatireans write; The Son of God, the one having eyes like a flame of fire, and his feet like burnished brass, says these things;
19 Știu faptele tale și dragostea creștină și serviciul și credința și răbdarea ta și faptele tale, și cele de pe urmă sunt mai multe ca cele dintâi.
I know your works, and your divine love, and faith, and ministry, and patience, and your works: the last more than the first.
20 Cu toate acestea am câteva lucruri împotriva ta, pentru că rabzi pe acea femeie, Izabela, care se numește pe ea însăși profetesă, ca să învețe și să amăgească pe robii mei pentru a curvi și a mânca lucruri sacrificate idolilor.
But I have it against you, that you suffer the woman Jezebel, who says herself to be a prophet, and teaches and deceives my servants to commit fornication, and to cat things sacrificed to idols.
21 Și i-am dat timp să se pocăiască de curvia ei și nu s-a pocăit.
And I gave her time that she might repent, and she does not wish to repent of her fornication.
22 Iată, o voi arunca în pat, și pe cei ce comit adulter cu ea îi voi arunca în mare necaz, dacă nu se pocăiesc de faptele lor.
Behold, I cast her on a bed, and those who commit fornication along with her into great tribulation, until they shall repent of her works.
23 Și îi voi ucide pe copiii ei cu moarte; și vor ști toate bisericile că eu sunt cel care cercetează rărunchii și inimile; și [vă] voi da fiecăruia dintre voi conform cu faptele voastre.
And I will slay her children with death; and all the churches shall know that I am the one searching the reins and the hearts: and I will give to you each according to your works.
24 Dar vă spun vouă și celorlalți în Tiatira, atâția câți nu au această doctrină și care nu au cunoscut adâncimile lui Satan, precum spun ei, nu voi pune peste voi nicio altă povară.
But I say to you, the rest who are among the Thyatireans, so many as have not this teaching, whosoever have not known the depth of Satan, as they say; I cast upon you no other burden.
25 Dar ceea ce aveți țineți cu tărie până voi veni.
Moreover hold fast that which you have, until I shall come.
26 Și celui ce învinge și ține faptele mele până la sfârșit, îi voi da putere peste națiuni;
And the one conquering and holding my works until the end, I will give unto him authority over the nations:
27 Și le va conduce cu un toiag de fier; ca oalele unui olar vor fi sparte în bucăți; așa cum am primit eu de la Tatăl meu.
and he will shepherdize them with an iron rod: as the potter's vessels are broken to pieces; as I have received of my Father:
28 Și îi voi da steaua de dimineață.
and I will give unto him the morning star.
29 Cine are ureche, să asculte ce spune Duhul bisericilor.
Let the one having ears, hear what the Spirit says to the churches.
