Psalmii 82

1 Un psalm al lui Asaf. Dumnezeu stă în picioare în adunarea celor puternici; el judecă printre dumnezei.

Of Asaph. God stood in the synagoge of goddis; forsothe he demeth goddis in the myddil.

2 Până când veți judeca nedrept și veți părtini pe cei stricați? (Selah)

Hou longe demen ye wickidnesse; and taken the faces of synneris?

3 Apărați pe sărac și pe cei fără tată, faceți dreptate celui nenorocit și nevoiaș.

Deme ye to the nedi man, and to the modirles child; iustifie ye the meke man and pore.

4 Eliberați pe cel sărac și pe cel nevoiaș, scăpați-i din mâna celui stricat.

Raueische ye out a pore man; and delyuere ye the nedi man fro the hond of the synner.

5 Ei nu știu, nici nu vor înțelege; umblă înainte în întuneric, toate fundațiile pământului sunt strămutate.

Thei knewen not, nether vndirstoden, thei goen in derknessis; alle the foundementis of erthe schulen be moued.

6 Eu am spus: Sunteți dumnezei; și toți sunteți fii ai celui Preaînalt.

I seide, Ye ben goddis; and alle ye ben the sones of hiy God.

7 Dar veți muri ca oameni și veți cădea ca unul dintre prinți.

But ye schulen die as men; and ye schulen falle doun as oon of the princis.

8 Ridică-te, Dumnezeule, judecă pământul, căci vei moșteni toate națiunile.

Ryse, thou God, deme thou the erthe; for thou schalt haue eritage in alle folkis.
