Psalmii 80
1 Mai marelui muzician ca și „Crinul Mărturiei”, Un psalm al lui Asaf. Deschide urechea Păstorul lui Israel, tu, care conduci pe Iosif ca pe o turmă; tu, care locuiești între heruvimi, strălucește!
Hear us, Ro'i [Shepherd Provider] of Israel [God prevails], you who lead Joseph [May he add] like a flock, you who sit above the cherubim, shine out.
2 Stârnește-ți puterea înaintea lui Efraim și Beniamin și Manase și vino, salvează-ne.
Before Ephraim [Fruit] and Benjamin [Son of right hand, Son of south] and Manasseh [Causing to forget], stir up your might! Come to bring yishu'ah ·salvation· for us!
3 Întoarce-ne, Dumnezeule, și fă să strălucească fața ta; și vom fi salvați.
Turn us again, God. Cause your face to shine, and we will be saved.
4 DOAMNE Dumnezeul oștirilor, până când te vei mânia pe rugăciunea poporului tău?
Adonai Elohei Tzva'ot [Yahweh God Commander of heaven’s armies], How long will you be angry against the prayer of your people?
5 Tu îi hrănești cu pâinea lacrimilor; și din plin le dai lacrimi să bea.
You have fed them with the bread of tears, and given them tears to drink in large measure.
6 Ne faci o ceartă pentru vecinii noștri și dușmanii noștri râd între ei.
You make us a source of contention to our neighbors. Our enemies laugh among themselves.
7 Întoarce-ne din nou, Dumnezeul oștirilor, și fă să strălucească fața ta și vom fi salvați.
Turn us again, Elohim Tzva'ot [God Commander of heaven’s armies]. Cause your face to shine, and we will be saved.
8 Ai adus o viță din Egipt, ai alungat păgânii și ai sădit-o.
You brought a vine out of Egypt [Abode of slavery]. You divorced and drove out the nations, and planted it.
9 Ai pregătit un loc înaintea ei și ai făcut-o să prindă rădăcini adânci și a umplut țara.
You cleared the ground for it. It took deep root, and filled the land.
10 Dealurile au fost acoperite cu umbra ei și crengile ei erau ca cedrii cei mari.
The mountains were covered with its shadow. Its boughs were like God’s cedars.
11 Ea și-a trimis crengile până la mare și ramurile ei până la râu.
It sent out its branches to the sea, Its shoots to the River.
12 De ce i-ai dărâmat îngrăditurile, astfel că toți care trec pe cale o smulg?
Why have you broken down its walls, so that all those who pass by the way pluck it?
13 Mistrețul din pădure o pustiește, și fiara câmpului o mănâncă.
The boar out of the wood ravages it. The wild animals of the field feed on it.
14 Te implorăm Dumnezeul oștirilor, întoarce-te, privește din cer și vezi și cercetează această viță;
Turn again, we beg you, Elohim Tzva'ot [God Commander of heaven’s armies]. Look down from heaven, and see, and visit this vine,
15 Și via pe care dreapta ta a sădit-o și ramura ce ai întărit-o pentru tine,
the stock which your right hand planted, the branch that you made strong for yourself.
16 Este arsă cu foc, este retezată, ei pier la mustrarea înfățișării tale.
It’s burned with fire. It’s cut down. They perish at your rebuke.
17 Fie mâna ta peste omul dreptei tale, peste fiul omului pe care l-ai întărit pentru tine.
Let your hand be on the man of your right hand, on the son of man whom you made strong for yourself.
18 Astfel nu vom da înapoi de la tine; dă-ne viață și vom chema numele tău.
So we will not turn away from you. Revive us, and we will call on your name.
19 Întoarce-ne din nou, DOAMNE, Dumnezeul oștirilor, fă să strălucească fața ta; și vom fi salvați.
Turn us again, Adonai Elohei Tzva'ot [Yahweh God Commander of heaven’s armies]. Cause your face to shine, and we will be saved.
