Psalmii 69
1 Mai marelui muzician, pe trâmbiță, un psalm al lui David. Salvează-mă, Dumnezeule, căci apele mi-au intrat până la suflet.
Unto the end. For those who will be changed: of David. Save me, O God, for the waters have entered, even to my soul.
2 Mă scufund în adânc noroi, unde nu este sprijin, am ajuns în ape adânci, unde potopurile mă acoperă.
I have become stuck in a deep quagmire, and there is no firm footing. I have arrived at the height of the sea, and a tempest has overwhelmed me.
3 Am obosit de a mai striga, mi s-a uscat gâtul, ochii mei se sfârșesc în timp ce aștept pe Dumnezeul meu.
I have endured hardships, while crying out. My jaws have become hoarse; my eyes have failed. Meanwhile, I hope in my God.
4 Cei ce mă urăsc fără motiv sunt mai mulți decât perii capului meu, cei ce m-ar nimici, fiind dușmanii mei pe nedrept, sunt puternici: atunci am dat înapoi ce nu am luat.
Those who hate me without cause have been multiplied beyond the hairs of my head. My enemies, who persecuted me unjustly, have been strengthened. Then I was required to pay for what I did not take.
5 Dumnezeule, tu cunoști nechibzuința mea; și păcatele mele nu sunt ascunse de tine.
O God, you know my foolishness, and my offenses have not been hidden from you.
6 Să nu fie rușinați cei ce te așteaptă, Doamne DUMNEZEUL oștirilor, să nu fie încurcați din cauza mea cei ce te caută, Dumnezeul lui Israel.
Let those who wait for you, O Lord, the Lord of hosts, not be shamed in me. Let those who seek you, O God of Israel, not be confounded over me.
7 Deoarece pentru tine am purtat ocară; rușine mi-a acoperit fața.
For because of you, I have endured reproach; confusion has covered my face.
8 Am devenit un străin fraților mei și un înstrăinat copiilor mamei mele.
I have become a stranger to my brothers and a sojourner to the sons of my mother.
9 Pentru că zelul casei tale m-a mâncat; și ocările celor ce te-au ocărât au căzut peste mine.
For zeal for your house has consumed me, and the reproaches of those who reproached you have fallen upon me.
10 Când am plâns și mi-am disciplinat sufletul cu postire, aceasta a fost pentru ocara mea.
And I covered my soul with fasting, and it has become a reproach to me.
11 Pânza de sac am făcut-o de asemenea îmbrăcămintea mea; și am devenit un proverb pentru ei.
And I put on a haircloth as my garment, and I became a parable to them.
12 Cei ce stau în poartă vorbesc împotriva mea; și eu am fost cântarea bețivilor.
Those who sat at the gate spoke against me, and those who drank wine made me their song.
13 Dar cât despre mine, rugăciunea mea este către tine, DOAMNE, la timpul potrivit ascultă-mă în adevărul salvării tale, Dumnezeule, în mulțimea milei tale.
But as for me, truly, my prayer is to you, O Lord. This time has pleased you well, O God. In the multitude of your mercy, in the truth of your salvation, hear me.
14 Scapă-mă din noroi și nu mă lăsa să mă scufund, să fiu scăpat de cei ce mă urăsc și din apele adânci!
Rescue me from the quagmire, so that I may not become trapped. Free me from those who hate me and from deep waters.
15 Nu lăsa potopul de ape să mă acopere, nici nu lăsa adâncul să mă înghită și nu lăsa groapa să își închidă gura peste mine.
Do not allow the tempest of water to submerge me, nor the deep to absorb me. And do not allow the well to close in on me.
16 Ascultă-mă, DOAMNE, căci bunătatea ta iubitoare este bună, conform cu mulțimea îndurărilor tale blânde întoarce-te spre mine,
Hear me, O Lord, for your mercy is kind. Look upon me, according to the fullness of your compassion.
17 Și nu îți ascunde fața de servitorul tău, căci sunt în necaz, ascultă-mă repede.
And do not turn your face away from your servant, for I am in trouble: heed me quickly.
18 Aproprie-te de sufletul meu și răscumpără-l, eliberează-mă, din cauza dușmanilor mei.
Attend to my soul, and free it. Rescue me, because of my enemies.
19 Tu ai cunoscut ocara mea și rușinea mea și dezonoarea mea, potrivnicii mei sunt toți înaintea ta.
You know my reproach, and my confusion, and my reverence.
20 Ocara mi-a frânt inima; și sunt plin de disperare și am căutat pe cineva să aibă milă, dar nu s-a găsit nimeni, și mângâietori, dar nu am găsit pe nimeni.
All those who trouble me are in your sight; my heart has anticipated reproach and misery. And I sought for one who might grieve together with me, but there was no one, and for one who might console me, and I found no one.
21 Mi-au dat de asemenea fiere ca mâncare și în setea mea mi-au dat oțet să beau.
And they gave me gall for my food. And in my thirst, they gave me vinegar to drink.
22 Să devină masa o cursă înaintea lor și ceea ce ar fi fost pentru bunăstarea lor, să le fie o capcană.
Let their table be a snare before them, and a retribution, and a scandal.
23 Să li se întunece ochii, pentru ca să nu vadă; și fă rărunchii lor să tremure continuu.
Let their eyes be darkened, so that they may not see, and may their back always be crooked.
24 Revarsă-ți indignarea peste ei și furioasa ta mânie să îi apuce.
Pour out your indignation upon them, and may the fury of your anger take hold of them.
25 Să le fie pustii locuințele; și nimeni să nu locuiască în corturile lor.
May their dwelling place be deserted, and may there be no one who dwells in their tabernacles.
26 Fiindcă ei persecută pe cel pe care tu l-ai lovit; și vorbesc spre mâhnirea celor pe care i-ai rănit.
For they persecuted whomever you struck. And they have added to the grief of my wounds.
27 Adaugă nelegiuire nelegiuirii lor și nu îi lăsa să intre în dreptatea ta.
Assign an iniquity upon their iniquity, and may they not enter into your justice.
28 Să fie numele lor șterse din cartea celor vii și să nu fie scriși cu drepții.
Delete them from the Book of the Living, and let them not be written down with the just.
29 Dar eu sunt sărac și întristat, salvarea ta, Dumnezeule, să mă așeze în înalt!
I am poor and sorrowful, but your salvation, O God, has taken me up.
30 Voi lăuda numele lui Dumnezeu cu o cântare și îl voi preamări cu mulțumire.
I will praise the name of God with a canticle, and I will magnify him with praise.
31 Aceasta de asemenea îi va plăcea DOMNULUI mai mult decât un bou sau un taur care are coarne și copite.
And it will please God more than a new calf producing horns and hoofs.
32 Cel umil va vedea aceasta și se va veseli; și inima voastră va trăi, cei ce căutați pe Dumnezeu.
Let the poor see and rejoice. Seek God, and your soul will live.
33 Pentru că DOMNUL ascultă pe cel sărac și nu disprețuiește pe prizonierii săi.
For the Lord has heard the poor, and he has not despised his prisoners.
34 Cerul și pământul să îl laude, mările și fiecare lucru care se mișcă în ele!
Let the heavens and the earth praise him: the sea, and everything that crawls in it.
35 Căci Dumnezeu va salva Sionul și va zidi cetățile lui Iuda, ca ei să locuiască acolo și să îl stăpânească.
For God will save Zion, and the cities of Judah will be built up. And they will dwell there, and they will acquire it by inheritance.
36 De asemenea sămânța servitorilor săi îl va moșteni și cei ce iubesc numele lui vor locui în el.
And the offspring of his servants will possess it; and those who love his name will dwell in it.
