Psalmii 148
1 Lăudați pe DOMNUL. Lăudați pe DOMNUL voi cei din ceruri, lăudați-l în înălțimi.
Praise the Lord! Praise the Lord from heaven; praise him in the heights above!
2 Lăudați-l toți îngerii lui, lăudați-l toate oștirile lui.
Praise him, all his angels; praise him, all his heavenly armies!
3 Lăudați-l soare și lună, lăudați-l toate stelele luminii.
Praise him, sun and moon! Praise him, all you shining stars!
4 Lăudați-l ceruri ale cerurilor și ape care sunteți deasupra cerurilor.
Praise him, highest heavens, and the waters above the heavens!
5 Să laude numele DOMNULUI, pentru că el a poruncit și au fost create.
Let them all praise the Lord and his nature, for he gave the order and they were created.
6 El de asemenea le-a întemeiat pentru totdeauna și întotdeauna, a dat o hotărâre care nu va trece.
He placed them in their positions forever and ever; he established a law that will never end.
7 De pe pământ lăudați pe DOMNUL, voi dragoni și toate adâncurile,
Praise the Lord from the earth, and creatures from all the depths of the seas,
8 Foc și grindină, zăpadă și abur, vârtej de vânt care împlinești cuvântul său,
lightning and hail, snow and clouds, and stormy wind—everything that does as he commands.
9 Munți și toate dealurile, pomi roditori și toți cedrii,
Mountains and all the hills, fruit trees and all the trees of the forest,
10 Fiare și toate vitele; târâtoare și păsări zburătoare;
wild animals and all livestock, crawling animals and wild birds,
11 Împărați ai pământului și toate popoarele, prinți și toți judecătorii pământului,
earthly kings and all peoples, leaders and rulers of the world,
12 Deopotrivă tineri și tinere, bătrâni și copii;
young men and women, old people and children—
13 Să laude numele DOMNULUI, pentru că doar numele lui este măreț; gloria lui este deasupra pământului și a cerului.
Let them all praise the Lord, for his reputation is unequalled; his glory is above anything on earth or in heaven.
14 El de asemenea înalță cornul poporului său, lauda tuturor sfinților săi, a copiilor lui Israel, un popor aproape de el. Lăudați pe DOMNUL.
He has given his people a source of strength, bringing praise to his faithful followers, the people of Israel who are dear to him. Praise the Lord!
